Lovely place with great food and amazing service!

Lovely food and really friendly staff - we had Anu as our server who had a smile on his face throughout. We had the murg malai tikka and prawn puri to start, both delicious. Our mains were the mixed grill and chicken rogan josh - also amazing. We’d highly recommend this place!

A family meal out on a Sunday evening. We were warmly greeted, served quickly and made to feel very welcomed. Food was cooked freshly - the door to the kitchen was left open so it was great to see the chef cooking from scratch with care and attention. Portion sizes were good, everything tasted fresh and was packed full of flavour. Prices are also very reasonable, made all the more affordable via the highly recommended first table app. Perfect for a family with younger kids who don’t mind eating earlier on in the evening. Highly recommended, we will be returning for sure.

A fantastic spot for a family meal, the food was outstanding and the service so friendly and welcoming. The food is full of flavour and filling.

Nestled just off whiteladies rd on cotham hill, Juba Raj is a welcoming traditional Indian restaurant with all the expected dishes. The food we had this evening was spot on all round, with adults and kids all happy. It would be great to see a separate children’s menu, however we’re always happy to take home some leftovers and the kids were made to feel at home. Will definitely be back!

We dropped in as we hadn’t booked. Jubo Raj very welcoming. Excellent food and service. We don’t eat meat/fish, but there were some great choices on the menu. Aubergine bhaji side dish recommended. Great flavours.

The Rogan Josh was excellent and good service. Very enjoyable meal. I would recommend this restaurant to one and alll. I will definitely come again

Just had an amazing meal at Juboraj! The Chicken Tikka was mind-blowing – juicy and packed with flavor. The staff was super friendly and knew their stuff. The place has a cool vibe with colorful decor. Highly recommend!

Very nice food, would come again

Went for my birthday with 30 people. The staff were awesome and opened the restaurant specially for us despite normally being closed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the actual restaurant had a great atmosphere. The food was well-priced and the owner even ran to Sainsbury’s to get me a surprise cake during the meal. 100% will go back, thank you!!

Came to jr in Jan 2024 with a group of friends. The food was very nice- especially the lamb madras (which was exactly right spice-wise). Service was fast and the staff were extremely friendly. I’ll certainly be back.

Excellent attentive service. We had the Chicken Vindaloo and a lamb dish. The vindaloo didn't hold back on the spice - just what I wanted. The chick n and lamb were tender and falling apart. Fully recommend

Went for my Birthday dinner just before Christmas. The staff are excellent, very friendly and really did their best for us. They even went out and bought a cake for me when they heard it was my birthday. They now have an alcohol licence, which is better tbh as you don't have to go across the road and buy beer and wine. I always liked the food here but since it changed hands about 12 months ago the food has improved and is now excellent. A couple of my family described it as the best curry they had ever had, I think I've had too much curry to say that though! ha ha The service is also excellent, as I said, very attentive and the prices aren't high either. I know there are a couple of other curry places on the same road and more on Whiteladies Road, but I would definitely only go here in future. I had the fish, which was very good. The lentil dishes are also very good.

Pathetic food and third class Service. I haven’t seen such third class staff. Poorly cooked naan bread and never try butter chicken and we didn’t like Rajisthani lamb as well. He said do you need Papudam we said yes and later he charged me separate for papadum and separate for chutney tray - all pathetic. And in the end he added 10% service change without asking me. And he didn’t bring chocolate which they offer at the end with tissue and after I paid thn he is saying sir your chocolate which were just there on the table before us. And he offered rubbish lollipops to my daughter without asking us…. I’m not sure how this pathetic restaurant is open and what we call in Bristol….. I came from Cornwall and was looking for good food and what I found in the end…. Total waste of money….
