Jubilee Inn Pub in Sefton

Just called the jube must say there telecommunications system they have installed is amazing, I called and reception answered, a lovely girl answered, I asked to be put through to the bar and was put through in a fraction of a second, I didn't even hear a beep. After my conversation with again another lovely girl in the bar, I asked to be put back through to reception and again like magic it was an immediate transfer with no beeps again. Amazing. A credit to those 2 lovely friendly girls, you would swear they were related

The worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. I would never recommend it. The doors were locked, I asked for help, I called an authorized woman, she did not help me in any way and hung up the phone on me. Help came hours later, it can't be this bad.

Great little pub for a quick pint and a bite to eat

Absolutely amazing the new chef Jay has a fantastic new menu. Went for his speciality the salt and pepper chicken burger. Was outstanding flavours and taste of the dish was just wow. Pub is good nice atmosphere and relaxed really improved on food and service 10/10.

Had tea in pub where kids were allowed to run around making dens out of chairs breakfast wasn’t served until 12 but we had an early start continental breakfast was a small box of cornflakes but no milk in room so couldn’t even have a coffee, also no bowl for cereal Telly had no Ariel so couldn’t watch live telly, thermostat on radiator was broken so couldn’t turn heating down as room was hot and stuffy! Too noisy rooms are advertised as sound proofed but couldn’t get asleep until pub closed as music and noise from pub downstairs was too loud

We live locally to this pub and often pop in for a drink at the end of a dog walk on Sundays. The pub itself is nice enough but sadly we can't stay long enough to eat because 2 of our family of 4 are vegetarian and there isn't a single vegetarian main meal available. I haven't seen this anywhere in the UK for at least 20 years and find it quite staggering in this day and age. There is a veggie burger on the kids' menu but on the 2 occasions we have tried to order it they haven't had any. I understand that vegetarians and vegans are a small minority but we often come as part of a larger group and if you can't cater for the whole group then you won't get anyone's money. Given that this place is rarely very busy even at weekends they could probably do without excluding even more people.

2nd year running for Christmas Dinner And in laws go quite alot in general for food. Always lovely. Lovely,helpful,cheerful staff.

It's pub grub. Reasonably priced and you feel satisfied for what you got. Will definitely return. Staff are very friendly.

Amazing food, ordered sides as was expecting a tiny meal given the low price, but wasnt needed. Very good portions and friendly service. FYI Stops serving at 6pm on a Sunday.

Kids love the trampoline, staff are friendly,nice local pub. Candles are an added touch when it gets dark. X

Lovely staff, very cheerful and friendly. Nice rooms for overnight stays...... however to note * only one shared bathroom for all guests * beds are flimsy and way too soft (plus point- bedding fresh and clean) * breakfast is a box of cereal and a cake * Room 6 BEWARE! stinks of deep fat fryers! Obviously above the kitchen

1st time I've been there in over 30 years and talk about being back in the 80's . it's staff are excellent they knew after 1 beer what I wanted for the next round . Nice clientele and I will be frequenting the hostalry more often as it's closer to where I live than going to Waterloo . I only live near The Litherland/ Priory .

Not yet been the jubilee but will do soon.

Food really nice when we received it after waiting ova an hour tho I had to go ova to the staff and ask where our food was as other customers came in after us and received there's before us apparently it was because there was no beef left but they should of made us aware the staff were really nice expecially the young lad on the bar and gave us a complimentary drink on the house due to the delay and then we received our food will definitely be going there again and highly recommend

Ordered 3 roast dinners and salt and pepper chicken and chips waited a Hour asked for salt we never got roast dinners said had peas no peas just a little bit of veg in a bowl for 3 adults asked about the peas she came with a tiny bowl of peas hence after we had finished our meals the service was a disgrace

Dated and empty. Needs money spending on it. 'dining room' looks like a care home canteen and staff slightly intimidating.

Will never be going back food was ok to be honest but the staff was a joke Was seated and asked what we would like to drink had to be told multiple times what we wanted the girl was not really paying attention then told would be right back with menus 20mins later more people came in and was asked by the same girl what drinks and given menues and drinks brought straight away So I said excuse me can we have are drinks and menus Another 5 mins went by and she returned we watched as this lady and bar man flirted all evening getting constant drink orders wrong Then my partner went to the bar because we was so sick off waiting and was asked by the bar man which female staff member he would '****' After anithere wrong drink order the bar man stood there and drank the drink We will not be returning uncomfortable atmosphere waiting for service and watch one staff member pick up the other two staff members work She was a lovely girl red head very polite and helpful

This place is under new management and this 1 star is for Jamie (the manager) and he knows why...I don't even want to waste my time explaining how rude and disrespectful he was.

You never know. One day they might get the sky or whatever they've got working !!!!

Great old pub. Far too quiet, especially as there is very little competition. I can only put the lack of customers down to the high prices because the staff are really good. Nice pint, give it a go is my advice.

Great prices on beer. Atmosphere is decent, always people in. The only thing lacking is a beer garden, which could be round the back but more of a disused lawn, which is a shame

Been there before and found it was quite expensive,town prices for local pub. Was going to chance it for the match but gave it a swerve because of the stench of cannabis from the car park. Supposed to be drug intolerant and family friendly but I won't be chancing it in the near future.

Was there Sunday before last, there was live music, brilliant by the way, and the night was fantastic! Everyone was having a good night, singing, dancing etc in a very relaxed pub, well worth a visit, especially if there's a band playing.

Used to be good family pub, overrun by all those who have helped close down all the other local pubs! Picked husband up there last night after match and didn't feel safe! Someone stabbed later on! Why would you go to a pub with a knife??? Good pub spoiled by drunks/drug users. So sad 😢

New owner has reinvented the pub, has great food, regular entertainment whilst retaining a family atmosphere well recommended
