Wonderful service as always by their very efficient staff this morning, has to be the best Flat White in Romsey by a mile.

Such a lovely spot for brunch or a coffee. Service is great despite them always being fully booked and super busy. Variety of food for adults and children and also do take away which is perfect for when you do not have time to sit on the waitlist.

We Visit Josies regularly and it never disappoints, really lovely friendly staff and the menu is great with a good variety of options to choose from and they serve the best coffee I’ve ever had it’s always clean. You sometimes have to wait 5 or 10 mins for a table but it’s def worth the wait.

First time here had a drink and cake shame the door kept slamming but it was nice inside. The staff were friendly and helpful

Sat outside for 25 minutes waiting for service. I have a dog so am not allowed into the restaurant and I know it’s table service outside. Got up and left…place was empty too.

Love this place, regularly pop down for brunch and we enjoy the different options they have.... Brunch burrito is superb, and Tata tots lovely (bring back the katsu tots). Definitely worth trying the specials when they are on , the Xmas ones have been amazing. Quick service once in and seated

I have now been to every branch of Josies. They are all great. My first visit was in the cold and there were too many customer who couldn't be bothered to close the door properly. Not the fault of the business. Just a reflection of some arrogant customers ! Food - tater tots - a wonderful creation. All carbohydrates and cholesterol. Healthy ? No. Delicious ? Wow ! YES !! Also I had the mushrooms on toast. Hot, plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

Always a popular place. We come here for Breakfast whenever we're in Romsey and we're never disappointed. We managed to get the last table today, so best to come early. Very good food and friendly staff. We'll come again!

Service was quick and friendly. I sat outside with my doggy, enjoying the early Spring sun. I ordered the Mexican Benedict, but what arrived was the Mexican Tater Tots (I think that’s what it was called) - an easy mistake to make! They were very quick to offer to correct the mistake.. However, the dish looked so good I asked to keep it instead.. and I made the right choice. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! Multiple people checked on me to make sure I was enjoying it and in case I’d changed my mind and wanted to swap. Everyone was absolutely lovely and the food was a delicious surprise.. will definitely be going back!

Love Josie’s! Due to its popularity expect to either reserve a table for later or get a takeaway. Often full and busy which is a great sign of the quality menu! Super range of drinks including smoothies/juices and ice-cream milkshakes sell as your usual standard hot and cold beverages. Great selection of breakfast based foods, pancakes, tater tots, burritos and toasties. Love the eggs royal with brown butter hollandaise sauce! Saturday lunch - not booked , very busy but online recall system for table availability A1. Good service. Above average food choice across all sections of menu. Food quality & presentation above average. Hygiene / cleanliness - as expected ; not bad @ all with exception of broken down toilet ….. putting too much pressure on the only one left !. Value for money ? - as expected ; not bad. Attention to table service - good news throughout. Atmosphere - above average. Re-visit ? - yes.

Went to Josies for lunch today and the smell coming from the toilet’s was off putting to say the least! Couldn’t enjoy the food and ate as fast as we could to leave.. disappointing for josies.. admittedly the toilets are never overly clean in josies but the smell was overwhelming. Suggestion:- thorough intense cleaning and introduce a regular cleaning rota.

Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Arrived on a Sunday morning at 9.30 without a booking, what a mistake! The place was already full and thriving which is so lovely to see. The server took our name and number while we waited for a table which was 25 mins. Was more than happy to wait as this place was worth it. We had the bacon pancakes with a side of tots. Definitely recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

I have heard much of Jose's. All positive. My partner wanted to check up on the hype. It was a Balticly cold day. Too many residents of Romsey appear to have been born in a barn ! The icy blasts were not helpful ! The menu is plentiful without excess. The serving staff all appear to be very young. The manager was a bit older. All very attentive. We had a little wait for food but not unreasonable. Drinks were provided very quickly. When the food arrived it was delightful. The 'Tater Tots' were gorgeous. I have since been to two other Jose's locations. All are very good. I have written reviews of these too.

I am an avid josie’s customer. I usually love a morning brunch visit in Romsey! As i am a regular, I recognise faces who would often be pleasant and attentive. But, recently, a new face has let the entire experience go. There is a blonde woman, seemingly new, who has served me a few times. Each time, she has failed to deliver any decent customer experience and has failed to bring me my coffee and food efficiently. I can see when my drink is sat waiting, while she spends her time chatting up the men around her, who are regularly working and I have seen before. I am sad to say, I don’t want to visit again anytime soon, i have been disappointed with wait time and poor consideration from this young woman, who cares more for socialising than with attending who she is serving. Otherwise, the atmosphere remains positive, and many of the waitresses and waiters are lovely and welcoming. It is unfortunate that a generally pleasant experience can be darkened by one individual. Thanks.

This is our go to place no matter what time of day, for either breakfast lunch or just a coffee mind you that rarely happens. Always a friendly welcome and the service is always really efficient and helpful. Even though they’re so busy they’ve always got a smile and a friendly word to say. Food is always delicious, hot and freshly cooked and I have to say I’ve never had a better caramel latte anywhere else. Can’t recommend josies romsey enough

Great place with very nice food and great coffee. Friendly staff, and very fast. The eggs & avacado on toast is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had!

Seriously disappointed after our visit today for breakfast. Not a friendly welcome at all, squashed into a table that might as well been joined to the ones next to them. Served a luke warm coffee which wasn’t off to a great start. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Ordered the Turkish eggs that was basically a bowl over very salty very garlic yogurt and 2 eggs and 3 strips of very hard sourdough bread. I like garlic but this was over kill!! I had to ask for a glass of water but then had to ask again after waiting 10 mins and i could see it on the side but the staff were too busy chatting to bring it over, I asked again and in the end returned the breakfast as it wasn’t edible. I was given some sourdough toasts instead. No meal check and customer service was poor, I don’t need to hear private conversations between staff when trying to enjoy breakfast with my husband. Biggest insult was they still charged me nearly £9 for the breakfast I couldn’t eat! Won’t recommend to anyone, can’t believe this service actually happens!

The waitress walked past a couple of times, I asked to place our order but got ignored. I ended up calling her over she was quite abrupt with me for asking her to take my order. Whilst waiting for our food she asked people on the tables next to us if their food was ok. She never asked us. I went to pay the bill. Checked the bill whilst we got ready to leave only to find we had been charged for a large breakfast ("The Biggie") not the £10.95 breakfast ("Full Breakfast"), which was what we asked for. We could not eat all the food, which is why we asked for the smaller breakfast (only been there twice, so don't have encyclopaedic knowledge of the menu), what a waste of food.

Josie’s in Romsey. Very disappointed this afternoon with my visit to Josie’s. Serving us seemed too much trouble for the waitress. When asked about cake we were told they were listed on the menu.
