Really amazing first time experience here. We’ve been served by Ahmed and he provided us with exceptional service- came every now and then and made sure we had everything we needed. The taste was spot on, we had the killer prawn platter for 2 and it was just the perfect portion for 2 people. Servings were generous. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Ahmed was our server for the meal , he was very attentive and friendly . The food was lovely , we had the Jimmy’s seafood boil and it was delicious. I’m not usually a fan of sea food , however I throughly enjoyed this . I will be attending again .

Good tasty food their Prawns are very popular we had 2 platters of them between 10 of us went down well with rice n chips but very busy in the Evening of Fridays & Saturdays this time chips & Rice weren't up to quality

Absolutely fantastic service at the Leicester branch yesterday. I booked a table for 20 people for my son’s birthday. Food was amazing, all food came out on time, hot and delicious. The children got their food first which I really appreciated. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very attentive. They even sang the birthday song to my son when bringing his cake out. Overall a fab experience. Thank you to everyone there for a first class service. 🫶🙏🏽

I was recommended this place by a colleague and wow I was not disappointed! It has a very happy relaxed vibe when you walk in. The staff are absolutely lovely. Now onto the food, we had the share platter for four with the original flavour prawns. Got to say it was to die for. So so delicious. It was such a cool experience putting gloves on and going at these prawns. We also had starters which I think we could have lived without because the platter fro four is huge! The starters was the hallumi fries, mushroom/cheese gratin and the seafood soup. No complaints on the hallumi fries they went down as soon as they were served. Now the mushroom and cheese gratin I was not keen on as the cheese would ball up in your mouth and feel a bit dangerous. Maybe too much mozzarella? My friend found the soup bland however I found if you dug into the seafood at the bottom it went well with the soup. We also had a kiwi mock tail jug which was well worth the price and kept us all happy. Very tasty! Parking we used one of the main parking lots as there is no where o/s the place to park. We are definatley coming again! Friend wants the surf platter which is the most expensive on the menu so watch this space 😂.

I don't eat prawns but the family enjoy them, they usually order the 50 prawns platter. It was tasty, however some prawns were dry. I had the fillet fish burger. This was really good. Pasta was good too. Parking a little issue especially if you come at busy time, however the service was exceptional from the waiters.

Great prawns and love the seafood boil! Very fresh tasting and great sauces to accompany the prawns. The seafood boil had a lovely gravy great for dipping. Lovely soft potato’s and corn on the cob. I think the drinks could definitely be improved as they’re quite overpriced for what they are. It would be nice to have good quality mocktails with better ingredients. Nonetheless I will be returning for the prawns!

Lovely prawns. Excellent booking experience directly from Google. They have everything going for them except for .......the calamari, which was tyre level rubbery, hence the lost point. Apart from that, this is a must visit place to get your seafood fix

I have been before but today I went for the seafood boil. It was lovely but a bit on the spicy side for me and I can take spice. It would be lovely if there was a less spicy version for the customers to enjoy, especially those with a low or 0 spice tolerance. But nonetheless me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. Ahmed also was a great server, tending to our every need. Such a lovely bubbly soul! Everyone needs an Ahmed in their life. 10/10. Would come back again for more prawns 😄😄😄

Always come back here!! Platter for 1 is a big portion so always share it. Can never stop eating im always too full when I leave lol but that’s how you know it’s good! If you’re a fan of cheese, try the Gratineed Prawn as well.

The staff were lovely and very helpful and welcoming us on our arrival. I loved how there was a prayer room, very convenient! And the food was delicious! Already planning my next visit. The portion size was good however if you love prawns I’d recommend getting one platter each! All in all very nice! I’ve had better mocktails elsewhere however, but the delicious prawns made up for it!

The smell hits you but you get used to it. It smelt like a butchers. I don't eat seafood but those who do enjoyed it very much. Everything that isn't seafood is not very good, chicken was not seasoned, rice is basic. Service was very good though. There is free parking right next to the restaurant.

Prawns were great, but the service was not great when it came to taking orders, the group that came after us was served first, and the group that came before us got served after us, but we offer that group our spot.

Very rude staff have no idia how to behave with customers feels live they doing u favors by giving you a table and by taking your money,it looks like they don’t want your money don’t want you. They have car which is very hard to get in but when u finally get in someone will come out and tell u very rudely that you’re not allowed to use a car park cos it’s reserved for there boss ( then why the f u don’t have a sign on it) so u will have to reverse out on main rd. When u finally got a seat in the restaurant it will take hours them to notice u and take ur order and then will take another hour to get ur food and its well expensive. The food is not worth the price I will naver go there again even if its free. Rude very rude staff

I reserved a table for my partners birthday as he’s a seafood lover - on arrival my partner used the toilets and was instantly disgusted and felt uncomfortable - the toilets were in a real mess, toilet brush in the middle of the floor with all sorts wrapped around it, things hanging off the wall - they were filthy. Even after washing his hands he didn’t want to touch the door handles, it instantly put him off. You couldn’t have made such a mess if you tried, which just shows the cleanliness of the toilets wasn’t top priority, so I dread to think what the overall hygiene/cleanliness of the restaurant is. Whilst we were sat at our table the couple sat next to us had their food arrive and had to send it back and didn’t look too impressed. I had high hopes for this place and felt so disappointed. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t stay long enough to find out. Unfortunately due to this we decided to leave.

Prawns are fresh and delicious. You get a lot for your money. Came out in less than 5 minutes. Service was good plenty of wait staff about.

This was my first time trying Jimmy's killer prawn. The total came to £45.25 Kashmiri prawns. 18 prawns came with a massive portion of rice. The portion was ok but the flavour was very weak. The prawns had a slightly fishy taste but where sweet as well. However the sauce could have been a lot better and deeper in flavour for this price point. 6/10 Chips. The chips where cooked fresh but unfortunately we could taste the bitterness of the oil, this could be due to oil not being changed and the chips had no seasoning on them not even salt. 5.3/10 Rice. The rice that came with the prawns took over half of the box but we also orderd an extra portion. This was cooked properly but not up to a standard you would expect from seafood place. I get it, we can add the sauces ect ect but the rice it self is basic as can be and had no complementing factor towards the prawns. 4/10 In conclusion I guess the prawns are being forced to carry the weight of the whole menu. If so, there should be a emphasis on making the sauce a lot more flavourful. Though it is possible this might be an off day. Overall I would rate this establishment. 6.2/10
