Great food from the carribean, fresh and great taste

There was an item missing this is the second time that this has happrned and i wont be ordering again

don’t know how it’s taste as hasn’t arrived, they don’t answer the phone often and when they do they put you on hold and don’t come back... every time I order from this place there is a problem missing food, late etc etc that was this was their last chance with me and anyone I know who wants to order food. you have to try really hard to be this bad!!

pepper prawns was awful and salty and lacked pepper, festivals did not come even though paid for. The Oxtail was perfect

I received my order late which is already bad. What made it worse is that I had missing items in my bag, and most of the food that 'DID' arrive was cold . Not happy at all, won't order from here again.

The app said it was delivered before it came I was worried I would not get my food. On the plus side the food was delicious

Food hadn't arrived after almost 2 hours. turns out the delivery was coming by car, through traffic AND had decided to take my food on a trip to the other side of London first. I called the restaurant who promised to refund. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATER!!!

Delivery was a bit late but well worth the wait. Food has been excellent here every single time. In fact, the only issue i ever have is with the delivery time or queue time in store but that is because they are so busy due to their consistency.

Always happy with the food we receive from Jerkiz- so much so my mum now orders from here too. On this occasion my collection time was about 45mins, I called the restaurant and said I needed to collect it earlier than that, the guy on the bone was most helpful and said it would be ready in 10mins ...,,and it was!

The rice wa's obviously uncle ben microwave take liberties hope that that's because they ran out or something curry chicken was not all that but the pepper steak was decent

If your hungry don't order from here. From the time i ordered, my delivery was estimated to take 1 hour. Well it arrived a hour later than that so all in all it took 2 hours from time of order and yes it was cold!

My whole experience was disappointing!

Eaten here numerous times before and been very happy ,this time however was very disappointing. Food portion wasnt up to par food was burnt, dry,hard. Customer service has even declined as I had to ring up for something. Seems as if they have new staff all round whos passion don't match previous members , a big shame indeed as this was one of my fave Carribbean shops

red peas soup was nice, tasty and warm but fried chicken much too salty with too dense coating. Main, curry goat and rice was cold and perhaps would have been just a little bit better with more meat and less bones. curry goat

what can I say? if your wanting carribean food there’s no place better than jerkiz! I stumbled upon them by chance and now I don’t go anywhere else. sometimes I even go and collect from them up in nunhead but they are brilliant. the food is always on point, the staff are very polite and the delivery guy is great. your missing out if you go anywhere else.

the food was delicious however, I didn’t get what I ordered as I ordered a combo meal but was given a standard one so I didn’t actually get what I paid extra for, but other than that it was lovely.

Ordered 17:55 Exp Delivery: 19:00 At 19:00 (time food should be delivered) received a call saying they had no more hard food. Do I want to change it? Well I ordered over an hour ago, so asked when the food is going to arrive bearing in mind I expected it to be here. - When the driver arrives. - when is that? - Don’t know I will check. Calls back 5 mins later - Driver is here now, shall I change hard food to rice and peas? - Yes okay. So he will be here in 10 mins as I live 5 minute drive away. - Yes *30 minutes later no food *35 minutes later no food Try calling. No answer Contact Just Eat. 41 minutes later knock on door. Food arrives. No brown stew fish. Fried chicken looks like it was friend 3 days ago and it could suck the moisture out of a desert. Literally the most ridiculously bad service I have ever received. Deleting the app and will go up to Rice and Peas next time.

Amazing service and currently, in my opinion, has the best tasting food out of the many Jamaican shops I've tried.

Some of the best Caribbean takeaway I've had delivered. Prompt and polite, and portion sizes were also good.

It's hard to find something that ticks all the boxes but this resturaunt does. Food 10/10 ( I ordered 2 days in a row because I dreamt of it). Got a hard to please eater living with me and she loved it. That rice & peas is the stuff of legend to me now, it's well cooked and sweet, put that with some curry or oxtail and I'm happy. Whoever is cooking, you have skill. Thanks for the food. I KNOW I'LL BE ORDERING AGAIN. Keep it up and I hope more people eat from here.

The service was good and the food came in time but the food must’ve been rushed. I ordered curry goat which turned out dry with no taste, the rice and peas was also dry. The salt fish fritters were literally soaked in oil, I had to soak up the oil with tissue paper which left my hands literally drenched in oil. And to top it off the fritters had no taste whatsoever, the worst salt fish fritters I’ve tasted. I’m really disappointed in Jerkis because the food is normally quite good. Please do better!

No communication with the restaurant

Food was ok but was delivered over 2hours late and communication with restaurant was not good. If your thinking over ordering from this company please go and pick it up not worth the wait.

Ordered food to my office and a colleague also ordered food seperatly 1hr before me and the company my fed our food together. My food was bitten into thinking it was the food they ordered but it wasn’t so I had a have eaten lunch. We had no idea we big ordered food from the same place until both orders had come. I’m very upset as I didn’t eat the food because people had started eating it thinking it was there’s. Absolute ridiculous

I like the food from this place. The only gripe I have is there are regular missing items from orders or something not available that I have already paid for. Would you allow me to underpay or replace unavailable items for something at a higher cost? I dont think so. Please improve your checking process before giving to the driver. However the food is good but these things in service will make it better.

Great food which was perfectly reflective of Jamaican cuisine. Arrived hot and was more than enough food portion wise.

The food was fantastic value for money & the taste was lovely but we pre-ordered the food to arrive for 19:15 then got a message back saying 19:45 which was fine but we got a knock at our door at 18:15 with our food. we had visitors coming so we had to reheat the food. it’s a good job we was in at the time. Again the food was awesome & we will order from them again.

I never received my food as it was delivered to the wrong place will never be ordering there as the customer service was very rubbish the restaurant was not even helpful in resolving the matter so disappointed

Placed an order but was called to say plantain had run out but could have a substitute so asked for Mac n cheese they said that's fine, they ring again to say no dumplings so asked for festival instead. Ten mins later got a call from a different worker to say no Mac n cheese and no dumplings so asked for large instead of medium and told no. Asked for money back for stuff we couldn't have. Haven't had money back, only one dumpling arrived and no substitute for what we ordered....won't be ordering from here again. The girl on phone seemed nice but the lady serving food in background rude and in helpful.

40 minutes were added to the original 60 minute delivery time. Food arrived an additional 45 minutes after the updated time. Could not get through to restaurant for love nor money. Had to call just eat to actually get my order. #Epic fail.

The food arrived after an hour of ordering which meant it was delivered earlier than the stated time. The food temperature was good and it looked ok even though some of the sauce had leaked out. However, the worst part of this order was that the food was totally inedible as it was so salty. We had to throw the whole lot away, which was a complete waste of time and money. I can’t believe the chef tasted this and then decided to sell it. Not sure if this is a reflection of the entire menu but I certainly won’t be buying from here again.

The food was really tasty and fresh. It has a lot of meat and well cooked rice and peas. Delivery was really quick and the food arrived steamy hot. Is going to be my favourite restaurant.

Very disappointing food, with the rich under cooked, meat added, and no sauce, making it impossible to eat. I had luckily ordered a couple of side dishes, which was all I could eat. The main dish of rice and peas with oxtail had to be thrown away. I did order curry goat and extra serving of rice and peas, only to find , the curry goat, was meat only which, had been added to my main dish. Waste of money. I will never order from them again, and most certainly never recommend them.

Food taste like old left overs. Sent me the wrong item and on top of that my curry goat dinner was full of bones and fat not one good piece of meat. Didn’t have the drinks I ordered so they made me choose another drink which they only then had one of. The workers are very quick to lock off the phone. Customer service is Teribble and if you don’t catch them on a good day your left with the bottom of the pot old left overs. They charge extra online than if you go to the store and order it’s just ridiculous I wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve ordered 3 times from here and every single time my food is delicious. Honestly really enjoyed it and I would order it everyday but would end up being the size of a house. you guys have a fantastic chief and a pleasant delivery guy. love the hole service and will definitely be ordering again so will end with a massive THANK YOU

worst experience of my life the restaurant would not pick up their phone and my order was over an hour late whilst i was trying to get through to just eat and they couldnt understand anything i was saying i had to call 3 times and speak to 3 different people.

Great, filling & tasty! Order came early and was very pleased with meal. Decent sized portions & very tasty food. Tried their fried wings and have to say they surprised me with the taste, absolutely loved them, seemed a little small but worth the price definitely. Overall excellent service and will continue to order from there.

FIRSTLY WHAT I ORDERED. I GOT A PHONE CALL TO SAY IT'S FINISH AND IF I WANTED TO ORDER SOMETHING ELSE WHICH I SAID NO. THE SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND NOT ORGANISED. I PLACE MY ORDER AT 17:10 OR SO AND IT'S NOW 18:38 AND STILL NOTHING. I GET THAT THE WEATHER IS BAD BUT IT SHOULDN'T TAKE ALMOST 2HRS TO DELIVER MY ORDER. VERY POOR SERVICE.

Previously wrote a review after how excellent everything was. Gave it another go, food was nearly 90 minutes late. No apology from the delivery driver (older man this time) and tried and failed to call the restaurant 4 times. It's disappointing because the food is genuinely very nice, but the service is awful. No offer of compensation from the restaurant whatsoever.
