Jenny's Cafe Grill in Bassetlaw

Down to earth, honest to goodness. No frills, friendly staff. I will certainly go there again. A friend has decided that it's her go-to place.

Called in for the first time today. Walking in it was busy but definitely not overcrowded, took a seat and had 5 minutes browsing the menu before a lovely lady came and took my order. The tea arrived quickly and hot, followed not long after by a great looking mixed grill, all freshly cooked. I can highly recommend this place, not only for the food but for the friendly service as well.

Found it to be a pretty well run efficient cafe serving food at reasonable prices ( though my bugbear of outrageous tea price) had a Spag Bol very tasty.Clean & well run all you'd want from a local Cafe, no frills

We had beans on toast & a nice mug of tea. Very friendly & a warm welcome. Really busy so it is popular with the local community. So it should be! Can recommend as there is a good menu of tasty foods available. Thank you.

Excellent milkshakes. Poor covid arrangements. No chance of social distancing. Toilet accessible. Off the main shopping street.

Been going to jenny's a couple of years. About twice a month when visiting family. Went in Saturday and ordered 2 gammon steaks myself asked for a little salad garnish instead of peas and was charged £3.95 for it. Think was a little out of order so will certainly think before going again. Toilet with it being a shared toilet should be checked regular was not a good visit unfortunately.

Friendly staff. Good well presented food. Very reasonable prices. Whole place was really clean. I have never seen such clean toilets either.

Called in for dinner whilst visiting Worksop as we have done on previous occasions. After ordering our meals it became apparent that we had been forgotten which the staff also realised. When we went to pay for our drinks they apologised and said it would only take 5 mins to do our meals. I was surprised that they didn't offer two free complimentary cups of tea if we were going to have to wait again for our meals as we had already waited 20 mins.As we were pushed for time we decided not to wait anyway. On previous occasions everything has always been spot on.

Should really go more often. Food is tasty and hot. Freshly prepared and great portions. The prices are on the cheaper side too. Staff extremely friendly which is what you expect from Turkish hospitality. The menu is large and varied. What more could you want? Get yourself in.

Always attentive and quick service. Menu has lots of choice. We come for breakfast a couple of times a month and always leave happy and impressed at the value for money.

The cafe has had s makeover and looks lovely and clean, downside is the tables are quite close together so we had to move our table to get seated. The breakfast were huge, far too much for my elderly mother but we managed to eat ours, definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I called in for lunch on Thursday. lots of food to choose from on the menu. and It all tastes freshly cooked. I had a traditional English breakfast. that included chips. with tea and toast(x2), My wife couldn't decide from the menu and asked for egg sausage and beans. also with tea and toast(x2) ( cost £12:25), We didn't have to wait long and both meals were very nice. It is cleaner looking ( it was always clean, but looks better since the refurb). and although I didn't use the toilets on this occasion. It was good to see they are now inside. instead of having to go out the back and down the ally past all the storage. we will definitely be using again, it has to be a contender for the best cafe in Worksop now

We usually call in here when visiting Worksop as we have never been let down with the food. Since our last visit it has been refurbished and looks so much better .I had the liver and bacon meal and my hubby had shepherds pie. Both meals were absolutely red hot and tasty. Whilst sat waiting for our meal I could see the chef putting the food onto the plates and he was doing it with real care. My only slight criticism would be that the tables are too close together. If they removed one table from either side it would be much better. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our two meals and two teas came to £13 something .

Never been to Worksop before but had to stop by as car was being seen to at Kwick Fit. My husband and I with our 2 girls decided to find somewhere in walking distance for some food.

Visited after quite some time and the place has been refitted and looks super. The breakfast was just what I needed before heading into town for a spot of shopping. Must remember to come again.

Always call here when we visit worksop as staff are always friendly and food good without having to wait forever, never had a bad meal and there is lots of choice, my son had a beef dinner which he said was lovely and good value, looks a lot better now re furbished, wouldn't go anywhere else.

This cafe has had a refurbishments / face lift, which is money well spent, since our last visit. The food is always good, with an extensive menu at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly & they will mix & match different aspects of the menu to what ever you require. We had a Bacon Cob & Sausage Cob, both cooked perfectly as My Wife likes her Bacon very well done. Big

Payed a visit to Jenny’s Cafe Grill for the first time today with my mum.

Visited after the re-opening. I come here a lot as it is near my work. Whilst the warm welcome and food have always been good the building was tired. It has had a fab complete new refit. New menu items too. It was packed out when I visited on Saturday and I am so pleased to see a Worksop business thriving

We go into Worksop at least once a week to do a bit of shopping and a wander around, Jennys Café is our first port of call. Always nice and clean with loads of friendly faces. A nice mug of tea or coffee with a bacon cob sets us up for the day, just right. Thanks and see you next week.

Stopped at Jenny's Café Grill one Saturday morning each time we pass its always busy, so thought we would give a go. Can't complain service was good price for breakfast good.

Este café es su cafetería básico estándar, no lujoso, pero está limpio y la comida es muy buena y a un precio razonable. El personal es amable. La cena asado los domingos (que teníamos) era realmente agradable y todas las otras comidas que vimos que se trajo todo parecía tentadora.

From the out look, you'd think that this place i salmonella centeral, but if you risk a trip inside you will be graced with the politest staff and delicious food. I visit this place often and always order the same, I recieve gold standard service and once you visit a few time you get treated like royalty. Always happy to service me things that aren't on the menu. Friendly staff always put a smile on my face. Shame about the outisde and the inside really a lot of broken chairs and dated decor. In much need of a refurbishment, but what can be done for a local café just a stones throw away for a big chain café eating up all the potential business?

Plate sizes are massive so bring your appetite. Nice little cafe could do with being a bit cleaner. Nice place.

It was ok, typical Greasy Spoon. Service was great food was ok. If your after a cheap-ish breakfast there are worse places to go....

Love visiting here. I always feel so welcomed by the wonderful staff and the food is amazing. Fantastic service. Lovely place.
