Jaipur Indian Cuisine in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We ordered paneer korma and paneer rogan josh. This was the best indian restaurant we could find in the village for vegetarian options. The food was tasty and freshly prepared, a real treat. They made a slight mistake with our order but they quickly fixed the problem. I would definitely order again.

Beautiful food tonight. Had the Valentines set menu. Couldn't fault it. More than enough. And a fabulous dessert. Thank you.

Food delivered on time during one of the big storms of the winter, so was happy to tip the driver. The food, however, was awful. Neither of the main meals were palatable. Tinned or frozen veg, slices of tinned pineapple, not even comfort food. In fact, my partner’s tummy is upset this morning. Will not be ordering from here again.

Absolutely loved this place ! Lovely welcome, the food was amazing, those flavours !! I’ve eaten curry all over the country, Jaipur is certainly one of the best.

First time coming here after having a bad experience in a different place so thought we would try something new however I regret it! Food was oily chicken was overcooked naan bread had no flavour service was terrible, the one person was alright who took our order very happy and cheerful. Was not offered our tea after our food as we payed for the buffet on Thursday. Drinks was flat not fizzy and a £10 fee per person to bring a drink in is outrageous. I felt intimidated by the workers as all the workers was sat down on a different table talking and staring. Decor was outdated tables was sticky and forks and knifes was dirty starters was served on a prison type plate. First and last time coming here a shame as it smells nice outside.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Always fantastic food ,we use the restaurant on our summer holidays as its the best in perranporth

We've had several meals and takeaways at Jaipur over the last year, every one of them has been delicious, and the service is very good in a nice friendly atmosphere. Sunday buffets are a lovely treat.

Food was over 20 minutes late and everything was literally stone cold.

Food was an hour late, turned up and 2 main dishes were missing, alot of rice had to thrown away because there was no dishes to eat it with, my wife and her friend didnt eat because there main dishes were missing, phoned the restaurant 4 times

I'm not bothered but you should know because to someone else 30 mins might be a lot. 10/10 for everything else! Top grub! 💕

The food was a bit late, but it was worth the wait. It was delivered piping hot and tasted fantastic. The quality was superb and the delivery driver was lovely. I highly recommend this place and will definitely order again in the future.

We chose this restaurant based on the menu and the fact that friends regularly order take away from here. The restaurant were incredibly accommodating regarding dietary requirements which we were able to communicate in advance and we were looking forward to a meal out with our friends. As has been mentioned a few times in more recent reviews the service was not great. The restaurant was full and whilst not raucous it was very difficult to talk across the table as the the restaurant was very loud. We had to prompt for drinks and when delivered they were wrong. We had to prompt again for our poppadoms. We asked for the all the chutneys but only delivered three and had to ask for lime pickle. The chutneys were pleasant but portion sizes smaller than other restaurants we have visited. The starters were tasty and hot. The main courses were delivered at least five minutes after we had hot plates brought to the table, probably closer to ten minutes ..these were cold by the time the meal arrived. Other tables had their meals delivered in pretty much one go..if took four visits to bring ours out.. The food was ok, portion sizes good and flavours were ok. The naan beads were the roundest I have ever seen and smaller than most restaurants...I am not sure as another review suggested they are brought in but... We asked for water when the meal was delivered which like our first drink order never appeared and we had to flag down another member of staff to order drinks by which time we were half way into our meal...we had finished and still not received them... In summary, the food was ok, was competitively priced and the chef was able to accommodate our dietary requests but service impacted our experience. It is good to try other restaurants as you don't know when you will find that special place you might have overlooked - for us this was definitely not special and unfortunately is not somewhere we would return to.

After arriving we waited 25 minutes and then asked if we could order drinks. When they finally arrived they were wrong. Hot plates were placed in front of us but by the time the food was brought to the table they were all cold. Food was average. Service was extremely poor. Definitely won’t be returning.

Just visited and had the banquet for £15 a head , starter , main , and 3 other items , rice , nan etc , we had poppadoms and chutney , and chips as extra , food was excellent, portions great , very tasty would highly recommend, staff superb , my tandoori starter and lamb madras spot on , madras packed a punch but I like that , well worth a visit

Fantastic and friendly staff who answered the phone. My partner has to have a dairy free diet , so a no dairy jalfrezi was made for her and they were so diligent in telling me what she couldn’t have from our order. Thank you it was a lovely.

We were finally able to make it to the famous Sunday evening buffet night and were not disappointed in the slightest. We were lucky enough to sample some of the delights in the winter during one of the community kitchen events these guys put on so generously and tonight was next level. After being welcomed so warmly, there was such a good selection of dishes ranging from a decent level of spice to mild, but all so tasty. If you’re in the area on a Sunday get in early as it soon got busy. We’ll be back regularly. Cheers 🤙

Absolutely love the delicious food it is outstanding , buffets are amazing. But disappointing today delicious as usual but my Bombay aloo was tiny not even half a small foil container , very disappointed

I ordered direct from their website which was quick and easy to use. I selected take away which said it would be ready in 30 minutes. On collecting, there was a 10% collection discount and food was all ready on time. Food was delicious (lamb rogan josh, vegetable dhansak, rice, chapattis, poppadoms, mango chutney and raita) and really generous portions of curry. I would fully recommend their food.

Recently had takeaway lunch from Jaipur and it was delicious! I fully recommend the fish pakora wrap. It made such a difference from anything else on offer in Perranporth for lunch, and was so filling that it kept my full for my long shift at work. I’ve also recently visited to sit in the restaurant with a large group and couldn’t recommend the restaurant more. We had a buffet which was excellent food and amazing value for money, but in particular the staff were so accommodating and friendly! It really must not be easy coping with a large group but they served us promptly, and all the food was lovely and fresh! I definitely recommend a visit!

Gem of a place for Indian food in Perranporth. Authentic Indian food, amazing taste and great hospitality by owner. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

What can I say about this authentic eating experience..5* that's what. We ordered a delivery and had an amazing meal arrive. The staff and chef had catered to our requests on our meals. Each element of the meal was delicious with succulent pieces of chicken and lamb as well as curries each full of body and flavour. The cheese nan was also amazing and I could of eaten my own body weight in those. Best Nan's personally I've had . We eat takeaway often and this is easily up there with the best. Food arrived hot and each mouthful was delicious. Will definitely will be using next time we are here and thank all the staff management and chefs for making this a meal and a memory. Great service and excellent food.

Had a takeaway from here whilst on holiday. We ordered the butter chicken and I can honestly say its the best one I've had so far! The sauce was so tasty! The portions are great and filled with so much chicken. The manager was really friendly and we got our food in about 20 minutes. I'm gutted I have to go home because I would have that butter chicken over and over again!

First time trying Jaipur and we will definitely be returning. Food was amazing , there was a tiny mix up with food we received but this is only being mentioned because it was sorted so quickly , the place was so busy so these things happen. Highly recommend.

Just had the Sunday buffet on our first visit to this lovely family-run restaurant. What a treat! Everything was beautifully cooked, fresh and frequently replenished. There was a good range of starters and accompaniments, including the best chicken tikka and tandoori we've had for a very long time, perfectly light and crispy poppadoms and 8 delicious main course curries. Thank you to the welcoming and friendly owner for fitting us in on a busy night without a booking, for the lovely staff and excellent chefs. We've finally found our 'go to' Indian restaurant in Cornwall and will be back very soon!

Wow , never been any where so slow in my life , food was obviously bought in from a supermarket (nan breads onion bajis) curry was awful , then after asking for the bill 4 times we were told to F off we don’t want you’re money what a horrible horrible place especially when we had children and wife’s with us , please please keep away from this dirty rude awful place

We booked a table and arrived. Our table was not ready and things seemed a little fraught to say the least. A distinct-lack of staff. There seemed to be a very large party that steadily got bigger and noisier. We eventually ordered but the service was slow with only the owner and on front of house staff member. I am not sure if this large group were friends or family but they dominated the restaurant to the detriment of other dinners. The food was excellent and great value but just a shame our dining and service experience was ruined. Definitely a need for more staff also. I would go back on a quieter evening. Sorry for the not so great review but just wanted to be honest.

We went in on a Sunday evening at the start of the may half term. We are a family of 5 with a 3, 7 and 1 year old. We did the buffet dinner. Everyone managed to find lots that they enjoyed and were able to go up as many times as we wanted! It was incredibly reasonably priced including drinks! We would definitely visit again!

Miserable atmosphere, no talk from the manager who had a miserable face. The food was tasteless, bland , tasted like a bad home attempt at a curry. Don't go.

Fantastically amazing ! Had the best ever Punjabi food in all of UK and that too here in Cornwall . KJ is a lovely person and a fabulous host and really excels at this. He was really accommodating and welcomed us last evening even though we did not have a table reservation. Every single dish we had was just brilliant . We went back this morning to have special allu parathaas, lassi and desi chai. Highly recommend this place , will definitely come back. For anyone who fancies a good curry. You will not be disappointed. Top food, Top hospitality .

Bombay Aloo was half of what I normally get. Madras’s didn’t have same quantity either. Quality was excellent as usual though and delivery was early which was good. Another bad experience and I’ll go elsewhere but this is the only time it’s happened so far and been ordering from them for a long time.

brilliant food really well cooked and tweaked to your liking when asked. lovely friendly owner/chef and all staff and highly recommend. even comes in a little cheaper when you order online and collect with a discount applied which was a nice surprise. i wish you were my local indian take away but sadly we are 300 miles away.... what is your delivery charge to leicester?

We booked a table as it was a Friday evening, but we needn't have bothered as we were the only ones in there for the whole of the evening. So needless to say, we had great service. The trouble was, it was a bit too quick! We eat at a lot of Indian restaurants, and they tend to have their own unique flavours, but here, we didn't really enjoy the food. The portion size was very generous, the rice and naan were lovely, but the curries weren't the best. The highlight of the evening was the delightful waitress, who was really friendly and helpful. It's just a shame it wasn't a bit busier to give it an atmosphere.

I did leave instructions for the driver to come in and knock on my flat door, yet the driver decided to ring my neighbour's bell, who have a young baby. Why??

I am from Jaipur Rajasthan India and I was craving for an authentic Indian food but didn't find real Indian food in Cornwall. I came to know from my British friend that a good Indian restaurant is in Paranpoth so I visited and completely amazed by the tastes of the food. I will give it 6 star out of 5 if I could.
