If you're in Chertsey and want pub that is reasonably priced (cheaper than anywhere else there), this is the place. I've popped in for the last 3 nights (working in the area). I found it full of locals, everyone knew each other and very friendly.

Ok for a standalone bar but that’s it. Smelt like a toilet to be honest. They seem have a regular crowd who just shout at each other (in a friendly way) across the bar. Nothing major wrong with it, but it could do with a clean 😳😳 Didn’t expect to find this in Chertsey. Lol.

This man at the bar took photos of me WITH FLASH ON. He was confronted by myself, my partner and other men in the bar. He denied this and the bar staff stuck up for him, although 4 people had seen this happen. Disgusting filthy perv👍🏼we instantly left and won’t be returning, keep yourself safe

Lives up to its name. There are a few pirates in there, along with barflys people with no teeth and no life. I don't mind that sort of place for a quick pint but wouldn't make a habit of it.

Popped in with a few mates on a Saturday evening and the pub was really nice. Greeted by a friendly member of staff. Drinks were cheap couldn't complain. Would return if i was in the Chertsey area again.

Had my 30th birthday in here as a joint party with a friend. Would highly recommend it! Very clean (constantly walking round all night cleaning up glasses etc) and they are so friendly, they also let you decorate how you want and such a great price! Also they arranged the DJ and he was great! They manned the doors all night! Honestly I can't fault it at all! Thanks Jack Sparrow Bar! 😊

Down in Chertsey looking after daughters cat and found this pub near an Indian restaurant we were recommended. Called in with my wife and received a warm welcome from a mainly male clientele. Really enjoyed the banter and humour and were very impressed with the owners who run this pub. We recommend a visit.

I stopped here on my way to the station the bar was clean and well presented the beer was served cold and well presented the staff were polite and welcoming will be back next time in Chertsey

Spit and sawdust lovers should flock here. Great place for late drinks with friends. No frills but always interesting people to chat with. Highly recommended.

Run by a very polite and hardworking Nepalese manager. All beer at £3 so quite busy and noisy at peak times.

Very definitely a 'hang out for teenagers who spill out onto the quiet cobbled street. It is quite small and noisy and some of the regulars clearly think of it as an 'in place' to be. Sometimes residents of the nearby Travel Lodge call in as it is very near but dont stay due to the large number of teenagers there. Prices are similar for the area but

Going there for a evening, be aware of the steep sloped tiled walkway to the back of the bar leading to the outdoor seating area, as this can become very hazardous when wet from rain or spilt drinks. Witnessed several people nearly break their necks slipping over. Staff attentive enough to try and keep the area clean and dry.

I really enjoyed my visit here, a lovely environment, fantastic service and a really friendly vibe.I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend it to everyone I know
