Very attentive and considerate staff, food portions just right. So tasty no need for extra seasoning, Korean BBQ steak a must try.

We were lucky enough to get a reservation in the wee bothy outside with our dog. Absolutely made our wedding anniversary so special. Amazing food. We recommend the veggie options. Aubergine dish was spectacular, go for the masala crushed potatoes, goats cheese salad was so yummy and the deserts were all to die for. Thank you to Clare who was so warm and friendly and helped make our wedding anniversary so memorable.

This was probably one of the best meals we’ve had in Scotland. Innovative and exciting menu, brilliantly executed and everything we had was amazing. Excellent wine list and draft beers. Service was fabulous and there was a lovely atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly - what a find!

Coffee was great food a bit expensive compared to other coffee shops in UK. Still service was excellent but need to remember service is key to longevity.

Came here for the first time this morning and had the small cheese board, flat bread and houmous and the fresh orange juice. And it was all absolutely delicious. You can tell that everything has been done with love and it totally shows!! I didn't catch the kind ladies name who helped us pick a bottle of wine to take home but her customer service was outstanding and I would come back not just for the incredible food but just to see her again! Thank you so much!

Hugely impressive range and quality of food on offer - there are plenty of much larger towns in Scotland without anything as carefully curated as this. Head chef was kind enough to take time out of a busy lunch service to talk through allergens directly, and even pop back out later to check we were enjoying our meal, which is always a nice touch. Obviously a talented team who care about what they're putting out.

Tucked away in the sleepy Black Isle coastal village of Fortrose IV10 is an unexpected pleasure. Small from the outside it’s deceptively large and once you open the door it’s a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. So many amazing dishes and they truly tantalise the tastebuds. Most locally sourced, all fresh and seasonal. The service was brilliant the team obviously passionate and took time to explain, chat and make you feel so welcomed. There was food for every palate and every dish was both generous, flavourful and beautifully presented. I cannot recommend IV10 highly enough, go visit. It’s sublime! Oh and they even have a deli. What’s not to love.

Do not walk past this restaurant the diversity and intensity of flavours plus a great range of craft beers and wine is not to be missed.too full for dessert? Take a slice home from the deli....Got your fur kid with tou? Book the bothy for you all

Fantastic! Attentive, friendly service- with plenty of laughter- and innovative food. We love the sharing plates, starters and inventive sides like the chargrilled whole cabbage heart with marmite tahini.. who'd've thought! Mains are delicious... we tried tender succulent buttermilk chicken, hake and pork. We didn't have room for dessert this time but have had the homemade brownies and rhubarb parfait on other occasions. A reasonably-priced restaurant that's really not to be missed...just a couple of minutes from Chanonry Point - you might not see the dolphins but you will have a meal to remember- thanks Emma, and all the team!

One of my favourite restaurants to eat in the Highlands. The food is imaginative and different and the staff are always friendly. Great for lunch or dinner. Lovely delicatessen too with a great range of meats and cheeses and local produce too. I love this place. I just wish I lived in Fortrose to visit more.

Not a bar, nor deli, nor cafe shop. This is an amazing restaurant. Quality ingredients produce varied dishes filled with fresh flavor. Plates are intended to share. We were 4 adults and ordered 8 dishes. A week in the UK and thus far this is without doubt the best meal I’ve had in the UK! Suitable for more adventurous foodie types. Great for veggies too. But they also have good pizza.

A last minute decision to have lunch in Fortrose saw us in IV10. Luck was on our side, a great restaurant, lovely staff and a menu which was amazing.

Absolutely magnificent place. Staff were so so friendly and helpful (even in the face of our baby throwing up all over himself). Incredible food. Best cabbage I’ve ever had (wood roasted, with marmite tahini and a crumb). Amazing Korean BBQ short rib. Lovely salad. A must visit.

Do not miss this excellent place - take a detour to eat here. The best food we have eaten in Scotland during a 3 month visit. You will not be disappointed. The staff care about their business, and their customers - and it shows.

Just stopped in here for a coffee and cake. Dogs not allowed inside but seating outside. Really good coffee and chocolate but small portions of ordinary cake. Expensive. Staff friendly.

We eat here whenever we are in this area. Probably my favourite food place. Their delicious food is always utterly rammed with flavour. We have never had a bad experience here, it is consistently excellent. We tend to have a few "mains" and share. It's that kind of place - you can eat in a "tapas" kind of way. Edited: been eating here for 3 years now and never a bad experience- the last time however - yesterday - probably the best yet. How can you get better? I don't know but I simply didn't want the meal to end it was that good and I also took some of the Hummus away as a takeaway and had it for breakfast the next morning with toast. Simply delicious!! Fantastic lunch! Spotted IV10 while out on a motorcycle run earlier this year and thought it looked like a worthwhile stop sometime in the future. At a loose end we decided to take a drive over to the Black Isle for a spot of lunch today. Stupidly, we never booked in advance and it looked at first like we'd have to wait for a table. Luckily though one became free as we asked. The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Amazingly varied menu which made it hard to choose from. Everything that we ordered was beautifully presented and very tasty. Finished off with a cracking flat white. You can have everything from coffee and cake to full sit down menus and they serve alcohol too. Definitely a go to place if you are in the area.

We visited this place with a dog. It was not a problem at all, they have cute little extra garden house outside with a heater. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We liked the food a lot, we tried pizza with chorizo, charred potatoes and hummus. Everything was really delicious and we were super happy

It is a very long time since I have been so excited about a meal. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and the combination of flavours was just inspired. The plates are much larger than tapas and what you can't finish they very kindly pack up for you to take home. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Amazing food throughout the whole menu! Superb service from lovely humans. Inventive and refreshing while cleverly utilizing the seasonal ingredients. Dishes include: corn ribs, lamp and hummus, pumpkin seed pesto red onion pizza, blue maize aubergine, chorizo, potatoes with salsa Verde. Soft drink was excellent: blackcurrant and basil. Not pictured excellent cakes: bram-brac and carrot cake.

Food and service was very good. If I am bring very picky, I would have liked some rock salt on the padron peppers and the coulis with the pannacotta could have been a little sweeter to offset the slightly bitter blackcurrants.

Love what the owners of IV10 have done with this place. I've eaten here previously under different incarnations (The Tea Cosy in 1990s and then more recently Eilean Dubh). Although the bones of the building are the same, everything else about IV10 is a radical departure from its past lives. Food is excellent with loads of tapas style small plate options, along with a great cheese and charcuterie boards..also honourable mentions for the chilli chips, and lemon tart! The decor is smart and modern, and the staff are friendly and clearly happy in their work I'll definitely be back sooner rather than later.

We stopped for a short break and it was totally worth it. Good coffee, absolutely delicious cake and friendly staff.

Just been to chanonry point seeing the dolphins needed some lunch we saw IV10 café bar deli gave it try what a menu! It's so diverse something for everyone, they were very busy not surprised! What we had was very tasty can not recommend it enough

Just happened upon this place, but it is absolutely worth a special trip! The food was incredible, with a menu that rotates each day to accommodate the fresh ingredients the chef has on hand. Service was great and ambience was fabulous. We walked in with a party of 5 for lunch and they were able to seat us immediately in an adorable outdoor private cabin. Best food I’ve had in Northern Scotland!

Service was slow, but the scone was probably the best I’ve ever had. Plus they do real hot chocolates made with real chocolate and served with real cream.

Shared a fabulous dinner in the very welcoming surroundings of IV10. Friendly and welcoming service, warm and inviting atmosphere, and importantly interesting and delicious food and drinks. Wanted to try everything on the menu, which leaves many reasons for a return visit! Would definitely recommend.

We we’re blown away by the quality of service and food here. The food is top quality with a fantastic atmosphere. A must go to if you’re in the area! (We were intending on taking some photos and forgot as the food disappeared so quickly!) Also very dog friendly. Always a plus

A great full menu as was a lighter snack menu. Two of us had pizzas and others tried their mixed plate by menu. They have a full starter range and delicious deserts. Even a choice of gourmet hot chocolate! Very attentive friendly staff who are obviously well trained and experienced. Also worth pre booking as they get busy. The best restaurant and cafe in the who area! We will be back!

Ein gemütliches Cafė, schön eingerichtet und mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Man sieht, dass der Kunde an erster Stelle kommt. Die Preise sind an der oberen Grenze. Was ich nicht ganz verstanden habe ist, dass wir eine riesige Getränkekarte bekamen und uns gesagt wurde, wir können zum essen von der Theke bestellen. Wir nahmen ein Käse- Schinken Croissant und ein Scone. Erst später, als ich die Internetseite ansah, sah ich, dass es offenbar auch warmes Essen gibt. Fand ich etwas komisch.

One of the most memorable meals I’ve had this year. A diverse, interesting and well thought out menu, it was difficult to choose as I would have enjoyed it all. The food was skilfully prepared and delicious, I couldn’t fault any of it. Service was great and our request to change tables was handled quickly and professionally. If I was local I’d be a regular customer here, but I hope to come back soon!
