I had prebooked a table for 7 people on a Friday evening. When we arrived, there were only a few tables. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, as they have lots of Christmas lights up. The service wasn't great, and the food wasn't all that. Firstly, the drinks are really small. It cost £3 for a 200ml bottled soft drink and £12 for about a 150ml cocktail. When we were ordering, we asked for 3 wagyu udons. However, the staff member came back and said they only have 2 portions of udon left and I'd have to choose something else. So I had chosen the Salmon Teriyaki instead. The staff member asked if I'd like rice to go with it, so we asked if the rice would be complementary because of the inconvenience. They said they'd ask the manager, but came back saying we'd have to pay £3.50 for it. We proceeded with ordering the rice with the salmon. The food arrived at separate times, they didn't inform us before hand that it would be like this. When serving the food, they never told us what each dish was. So, we had to guess what was what. When the udon arrived, the portion was really small. The wagyu in it didn't taste like wagyu either; they said it's grade ?. We also ordered the black cod, which was the main reason we visited. This was very disappointing. The dish was cold, so we asked a staff member "is it meant to be this cold?". She then took the dish and said she'll speak to her manager. We saw the manager take the dish downstairs to the kitchen. She came back after around 5 minutes with the same dish. We can see the cod smoking hot, as if it had been microwaved. We didn't even ask for it to be hot, we had only asked if it was meant to be cold. We didn't want to complain again, so we just ate it. I also ordered the ribs, but they were very dry and didn't have much taste to it. The salmon maki, had a really strong lemon taste to it, which came as a surprise. I had brought a cake in, as it was someone's birthday. They placed the candles for us, and served the cake. However they didn't bring over a knife or plates for us to serve the cake. Eventually someone came and asked if we'd like them to cut the cake or if we'll do it. We said we'd cut it. So, overall not really worth the visit.

We had a reservation at 3 o´clock, but we got our table at 15:15, and meanwhile no one told us what is happening. At 3pm the waiter told us, that she´s going to make a table for us, but it took 15 minutes and she didn´t take any contact with us during that time. My family and I were just going to leave, when the table finally was ready. Of course we saw that there just was no free tables, so I don´t know if they forgot the reservation or what happened. The kitchen closes at 16:30 so we had only rough an hour to eat finally. We also had to order the bottomless drinks separately, because no one took our drink order, only foods. I found this bottomless brunch concept somehow difficult to understand, because of the lack of communication. It´s always little bit uncomfortable to step into totally new restaurant, where you don´t even know the concept (bottomless brunch) and that´s why you should get attention from staff. That really was a bit annoying. Otherwise the food, the drinks and the athmosphere were nice, but when you pay over 200 pounds, you probably would like everything to be hassle-free.

Wrongly charge by design. Look at this Nikka coffeery grain that is marked £7.5. The waiter charged me £15 and told me it was double shot. 1. List it as £15 if that’s the real price 2. Tell the customer when the order is placed 3. Make it a double shot.

Had a fabulous bottomless brunch here! The sushi & sashimi was great, as was the Katsu curry. The rosé prosecco was flowing & the staff were all very attentive. Big shout out to our waiter, Kieran, who was first class. Thank you 😊

One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in London. Food was really good quality & service was excellent. The interior is so nice with fairy lights hanging from the ceilings. Everything was so fresh & such a varied menu. Can’t wait to go back.

In anticipo rispetto alla prenotazione della cena in un altro locale, ci siamo fermati qui per un aperitivo. Ci siamo seduti fuori e abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di bianco e degli edamame (buoni). Servizio gentile e veloce, prezzi giusti. Da riprovare a cena!

EAsy to find, nice lay out, place was not busy at 13:30 but after reacving our water we were then told they had run out of rice for sushi and rolls, as the rolles were something we wanted to try it was quote dissaponting and also a but supprising that halfway throught luch service they had run out. Just bad planning I guess.

More details and family-friendly reviews on my blog 'The Frenchie Mummy' and on Instagram @thefrenchiemummy. So Google it and have a look there too. Merci We checked out this place with my family 2 weeks ago and what a lovely surprise! We went for the Bottomless Brunch and we had so much food for only £36! you can order as much as you want starters and to be honest, the food was really good! My son tried sushi for the first time and he absolutely loved it! Of course, it is not like in Japan, but for a British experience, the quality was really nice. Good service too and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. We had a great time.

Lovely decor, very good service, friendly staff, great authentic and some different Japanese dishes made with extremely fresh and high quality ingredients. Excellent cocktails (the Lychee Martini is a must-try!) and a nice wine list.

It all started with my partner saying, let’s go to our local favourite Issho-Ni restaurant in Bethnal Green. As we been there so many times, and tried every dish on the menu, I said: Lovely, let’s go. The moment we walked in, we didn’t recognise any of the members of the staff. Everyone was new. So far, so good. Then I asked if I could seat at the table next to the window where I usually seat and she said no, then she pointed a different table for us to seat. Before I was even seated, the new waitress asked me if I wanted a drink, then of course I told her to give me a minute as I am still standing. As previously I have tried every dish on the menu, and everything was amazing I didn’t think for one second that the food will be any different. We had a shock, the food was awful, we couldn’t eat it ☹️. It looks like the amazing chef they had before it was gone too. My partner being so English said: let’s not make a scene, pay the bill and we never coming back. He asked the waitress for the bill. A different waitress took everything away with out even asking why we didn’t eat the food ☹️🤔. After he paid, we told the waitress that that the food was awful and they didn’t even ask why we didn’t eat. The only thing she said was that she will let the chef know. So, what it should have been an amazing meal, turn into toast and marmite and a cup of tea at home.

We went for bottomless brunch. The sushi was ok, I would say it was quite average. There were only 4 rolls on the bottomless brunch menu, and it would have been nicer to have more options. We also had Katsu curry and Wagu. Both were overdone - the Katsu was a little burnt and the Wagu was well done (I normally have steak rare). The service was very good - they were very attentive. BUT they charged us £3 for tap water which I didn’t see until after we paid the bill. I thought this was really dishonest and left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

But the bottomless was not worth it. The service was so slow that we had such a massive gap between each dish we ordered and it just came randomly like one plate here and there and as there was quite a few of us, we will get a couple of bits of sushi. Trying to get their attention was even worse as it seems as though they were ignoring us. It seemed like the more we ordered, the worse the food got- presentation wasn’t there and there was no ginger/wasabi on the plate. I do not recommend the bottomless brunch. Maybe the a la carte menu is better but I won’t be coming back here

First time visiting for their bottomless brunch and we enjoyed our experience! Most of the reviews on here really puts a bad name to the business as we were given food quickly (it’s Japanese and a bottomless brunch. What else would you expect?) we got plenty of refills both with the sushi and the Prosecco. They explained the menu to us and how it works. I would 100% be coming back here. Usually after a brunch I’m still hungry but believe me I couldn’t finish 😂

My partner and I had hi hopes but we have never been so rushed in a restaurant, and when I challenged the waiter on the treatment we were receiving he argued and repeatedly spoke over me. What was supposed to be a pleasant night out was over within 35 minutes. The food, was ok , but there are far better choices in the area. Spend your money with a venue that respects its customers.
