INTOKU Pan Asian & Sushi Café in Mendip

This is the second time I have visited and have been disappointed with the service. I was with my disabled family member who is a wheelchair user, I didn’t find the service great as we seemed to have been forgotten on many occasion. I tried to wave to get staff attention despite there being 3 FOH and 2 chef, not one person noticed. This led me to leave, and weren’t be coming back to this place again.

This restaurant has relocated to inside Royal Windsor Mall beside the train station. Food is superb. Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly.

Visited Intoku with my family for dinner and had a brilliant experience. The food was delicious and fresh - we particularly enjoyed the Dragon Rolls and Firecracker Rice. A special thank you to our hostess Anjali, who was so lovely all evening and took care of us. Amazing customer service Anjali - you are an asset to Intoku!

You may want to consider Intoku if you are looking for a sushi restaurant near Windsor Castle. There is a wide variety of delicious foods available there, especially Dragon rolls. As for the wings and other side bites, they are also fantastic! 💯💯💯 highly recommend them!!!❤️ definitely coming back for more!❤️❤️❤️

There was a huge range of food on the menu and our party ordered (amongst others) the tempura prawn, chicken katsu, two dragon rolls, seabass cerviche and teriyaki chicken wings. All of the food was excellent quality and tasted fresh and flavoursome. The cerviche was a stand-out dish for us. Staff were friendly and service was speedy and unobtrusive. We really enjoyed the meal - thank you! We intend on returning to try the ramen!

I booked the Intoku with a group (8) of friends, and we had an amazing time. The Intoku team are welcoming, friendly and ensure you have a super experience. The food and drinks were scrumptious (the cocktails, small plates and sushi were my favourite) - and the team really care about your experience. This has now become my favourite spot for Japanese!

Great location opposite Windsor Castle. I live locally, have been to them all, and this is the best sushi/pan-asian spot in town. Great food, very freshly prepared and add to that the friendly, sparkly staff and you have a winner. Ask their opinion, they are very knowledgeable about what they produce.

I haven’t been to Windsor for a while, so it was a surprise to see a different Japanese restaurant closer to the town centre - as we would typically have to wander down past the Old Firestation at the other end of town Decor is cozy inside You do get the vibes of being inside a traditional sushi bar, especially as you walk in and spy the sashimi fridge counter Service was spot on Friendly and efficient all night and food came out in good time The food itself was extremely well presented Typically a good sign of good Japanese food as it’s all about the details Even serving the sashimi on crushed ice…bonus points So far, this place is ticking all the boxes and getting a five star review And then we taste the food Listen, it wasn’t bad If you are not a regular consumer of good Japanese food, it would probably come across as decent to very good But sadly, the sashimi had no flavour - you couldn’t distinguish between the salmon and tuna for a start Even the wasabi and ginger lacked any kick or bite to it Unagi roll? Please tell me which was the eel, because I couldn’t taste it Real shame, as the place has a lot of promise to be an exceptional Japanese restaurant in a prime location beside the castle

The food was absolutely delicious! it came quickly so we didn’t wait long. It all tasted fresh and they really don’t hold back on the flavour. I am a long time customer of theirs. However there is one thing and that it has become more costly. over the year, they have raised their prices by around £3. There Pokè used to be £8 and now it’s around £10.50. This has caused me to lessen my visits a lot but i still visit on occasions.

We were visiting from Doncaster and we were so pleased to find this hidden gem! The restaurants interior is beautiful and the food is amazing. The owner and the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food came very quickly. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Windsor!

Service was fabulous and JR the manager is a charmer! Food was delicious …. and what a selection of sushi and Asian dishes. The sweet chilli chicken and rice is a winner with the salt and peeper chicken Bao buns coming a close second. Really worth a visit and you get to eat in a quirky historical building.

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant and I hope it won't be our last. Myself and my Mum were looking for a light bite and came across this cute place. My mum hadn't ever eaten sushi before so was a little apprehensive but after sharing some salmon dragon rolls she is now converted. We loved it! Lovely central location, excellent service, but teriyaki chicken I ordered very sweet and a very small portion served in a small bowl mainly rice and salad, sticky beef the same couldn't tell the difference between them apart from the meat, a bit disappointing.
