The best onion and shrimp pancake I have tried in London. With the crispy outside and juicy inside. Must order that. For the Tobokki (rice cake) with instant noddle and the fried chicken leg, they are just soso. Btw we are guided to another building behind the restaurant. Probably it doesn’t have enough space in the restaurant.

This restaurant treats individual customers differently. I came here with friends before and thought the food tasted good, but this time when I went alone, the staff told me that solo customers were not allowed to dine in the restaurant on weekends. I asked for takeout but was rejected. The staff was very nice but could not give a reasonable answer and just kept refusing. I checked Googlemap again and again and there was no indication that single people could not dine in on weekends. I came here specially and wasted a lot of time and energy. It was super disappointing. I don't recommend it.❌

Great food and good value, unfortunate that the Budae-jigae wasn't available. The Bulgolgi-dupbap was very flavourful and a good portion. The Chicken Wings were a great side, not too sweet with the sauce but it also made the exterior a bit crunchy.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Very generous portions and everything came with complimentary small sides including kimchi which was delicious. Very authentic cuisine. Highly recommended!!

The go-to place whenever you crave for Korean home food

Imone was recommended to me as a really high quality Korean restaurant amongst a high street full of the best Korean restaurants. I’m pleased to say that my expectations were certainly met and I can confidently say that this is one to keep your eye on. With an extensive menu you’re really spoilt for choice and you’ll find yourself having more than you can manage. Not that it’s a bad thing but it is a fair warning that the portion sizes are reasonable large. The authenticity matched with fresh ingredients were immaculate to say the least. My only gripe was that the stewed dishes weren’t quite as described. One of them was a seafood stew however, all there was in the bowl were a small handful of prawns and mussels. Additionally, the pork stew had the smallest amount of pork you can imagine which I found to be disappointing. Overall, I really do recommend this restaurant especially their lunch time specials from 12pm - 3pm. They are really generous with the amount of food on offer for these specials and it’s totally worth it.

We had a traditional Korean dinner here last night. My husband and I had sweet and sour spicy chicken, spicy squid, and kimchi stone pot fried rice. My son had the seafood fried udon. The restaurant gave us 3 small plates of cold dishes. All the food is yummy fabulous, and the spiciness is moderate allowing you to enjoy the taste. The boss and staffs are very nice, smiling, and greet you thoughtfully. We really loving it and had a great time meal here! 정말 감사합니다 사장님❤️ We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends!

The space was so small that the three of us were seated for two when there was room for four, leaving my friend sitting on the aisle. The food was not authentic at all. It was salty.

Omg my heart was filled with happiness after i left this place, their signature fish dish is out of this world, their prawn tempura is amazing, the chicken udon noodles was full of flavour, i can't wait to come back.

Feels like a local secret. Good simple food done well in v simple setting. We had the spicy fish with rice and seafood panjeon. All cooked to perfection.

The server recommended us a few things and they were so scrumptious. Some highlights for me are: - Bokkeumbap (kimchi fried rice) - Pajeon (seafood crispy pancake) —> best I’ve eaten in my life - L.A Kalbi (BBQ short ribs) - Bossam (steamed pork belly with white kimchi) Will go back for sure.

Absolute delish! The food was *extremely* flavourful, The prices of the main dishes were from a range of £10 - £20, which, in my opinion, is totally worth it. Service was phenomenal (quite more than expected), as you can expect from a high-end Korean restaurant. They provided a wide range of K-Pop, and they actually gave their best attitude towards their customers. 👍👍👍👌👌👌😋😋😋

Sorry maybe this is just not the right day for them. Kitchen messed up and our order took way longer with other tables being served first. Not pleased but hoping food could be good. Nope. I grew up in Asia and had been there for 30 years of my life. This is not good. 1. Bibimbap (not pictured) was tasteless with tiny little bit of minced beef!? 2. The chilli paste soup was very small, beef was very tough and tiny bits again. Vegetables are all diced into small bits. I felt like I was having the soup when sick!? Nope, that is not they do it in Korea. 3. The kimchi pancake is so oily, not cripsy on the edges and not soft on the inside. I was actually very angry walking out of this restaurant, and still annoyed and it felt like a massacre of one of my favourite cuisines from hometown. And no, it wasn't the wait. It is a consensus of the table. We knew of this place from Timeout's fav restaurants in London. Gosh, do better. Timeout.

A Korean foodie delight. Cosy setting with tasty food and quick service. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Small starter dishes included and there is an additional room for seating out back and the toilet is a short walk!

We got robbed in bright day light here! We ordered kimchi pork and kimchi seafood. Kimchi pork had micro cutlets of bacon. Kimchi seafood had no seafood instead they place dried canned preserved seafood. Came here because of the hype from google reviews but totally disappointed. I can understand cost cuttings but paying £12 for a person lunch and I got a vegan equivalent food.

Authentic Korean foods with reasonable price.

Food was quite tasty, really good pancake, nicely cooked fish, excellent service. But it was not good value. Pork kimchi soup had very little pork, maybe two or three very small pieces, and fish was one fillet of deep fried mackerel for £12. Delicious but so little for so Much.

We called to book a table for 7 and they were really accommodating. The food was really authentic and came out extremely quick.

This is the first time I’ve had Korean food. The food here was really good however the fish dish we had so many small bones in it m. Booking is recommended has it gets really busy

The dishes are excellent and never disappoint. I always visit at dinner time after doing my shopping at H-Mart. The waiters are very friendly and attentive and the food is delicious (absolutely anything on the menu). My personal favourite are the seafood pancake and tofu jiggae which I highly recommend. In case you are driving, there is a super cheap car park 2 mins walk away. The place does tend to be full most of the time and customers have to queue outside. I would recommend the owner to look into expanding their premises to accommodate more customers. If they do, I might even come both lunch and dinner times 🤭

Really good, authentic Korean food.

Food is amazing and was so excited to come and eat here with my family. I rang up earlier in the week to book a table for a Saturday night and it was confirmed. However when I turned up they then informed me that they do not take bookings for Saturday or Sunday and they just kept repeating that they didn’t take bookings despite me showing my call history. Very disappointing.

Incredible homestyle Korean food. I travel 12 miles across London to come here and it is worth it every single time. Everything is of a seriously high standard; the biji jjigae (bean stew) and soondae bokkum (chewy blood sausage stir-fry) blow my mind. Even the banchan are off the chain, I have no idea how they make that little dish of potato so delicious. Imone is special - especially so being in London. Book in advance - you always see people getting turned away for a lack of seating, even on random weeknights.

It was by far the worst Korean food we have ever tasted. Also the food quality and portion was beyond a joke. We ordered one stew with tofu and seafood with tofu pots. We couldn't find any meat apart from tiny beef flake in one pot and very tiny mussels in the other pot. The reason I choose this restuarant was because the other restaurants had long queue. Our homemade cook is way better than this restaurant. There are a few good restaurants down the road. Best to avoid this restaurant. Furthermore, we disgreed with your feedback. We have tried better version of tofu with stew and seafood pots in other restaurants. The quality is better than yours.

Delicious food, nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly service

Food is great, but service was awful, specially the waitress with short pink hair (super rude and strange attitude). Hope they improve their staff, as the food is good. My friend and I wouldn't come back.

We set out to look for the most authentic restaurant in Korea Town (New Malden), and we couldn't have been luckier. The staff are amazing, and the food is on par. The vibe was exactly what we desired; being led into the alleys into a crammed little room with so many Koreans around. The sundae (Korean blood sausage) was a great dish, also the kimchi rice & seared beef. Will definitely be coming back next time we are near New Malden!

I booked a table for 4 - was my mothers birthday celebration. I booked about a month ago and requested a table in the front as the back room is very univiting and feels like a shed. I called again last week to confirm my booking as the woman I’d booked with didn’t speak English well. I was told my table was booked. We got there 10 minutes early and were told our table was in the shed. The young waiter asked if the booking had been made by a woman - suggests he thought she’d not understood. We declined spending our evening in the back shed room. Ruined my mothers birthday plan to eat here. Very disappointed as my mothers 80th birthday dinner was ruined. Very poor way to run the show. The food is always good but pointless trying to book a table so won’t go here again.

The kimchi jeon was tasty but way too oily. They were not able to change the pajeon to kimchi jeon and I don't understand why this is an issue. The braised fish was over hyped. I have made better at home with an online recipe. The white fish they use is bland so the sauce can only do so much. Good service though, except for the lack of flexibility with the set menu

The waitress lied and said that all tables were booked. I literally walked in at 5:04 PM (4 minutes after it opened), and I saw a couple of tables open. Also, apparently there are tables at the back. One look at me, and she decided not to give me a seat.

Food brilliant, staff very friendly. Speed of service was swift and quantity of food was exceptional. Personally, i think there should be a toilet there though as there weren’t any and the restaurant could be bigger.

We once lived in New Malden. Since we left it has become Korea Town in SW London. I don't know Korean food well but was determined to eat some while we were in NM visiting old friends and neighbours. Decided on Imone using TripAdvisor, reserved a table for four by telephone and did not regret it. Difficulties with ordering were eased by the presence of young, Korean people who spoke English like the locals because they were locals. There was a queue outside so booking is necessary.

This was my first visit at Imone and a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and the atmosphere great. Fish is cooked to perfection.

Imone is situated in New Malden High Street and is a short walk away from the railway station on foot. We did not have a booking but after a short wait early on a Saturday evening, we acquired a table. I opted for Kim Malee (seaweed rolls with vermicelli noodles), Nokdu Jeon (savoury vegetable pancake) and Jjugumi Bokkum (fried webfoot octopus). Complimentary kimchi and bean sprouts were also provided. The food was very nice indeed. To drink, we had Korean beer and plum sake. Again these were most enjoyable Cost was £60 for two including service, which was good. The restaurant is small so I would recommend booking in advance. There are toilets but these are accessed via an alleyway that runs parallel to the restaurant that takes you to their location at the back.

Visited this place during lunch and the food was delicious and quick to arrive. We ordered the blood sausage and portion size was quite big! Not to my taste, but would recommend if looking for something unique. Also bear in mind the restaurant is quite small and there are no toilets available from what we could see.

Fantastic food, hot, served promptly with good service. 10/10. We were seated out the back so no window but the food is so good and reasonably priced it doesn’t matter. Highly recommended

Amazing restaurant and a pleasure to sit in the back rooms instead of main restaurant, which have a lovely homely vibe. The staff are so kind and add further to the experience. Each dish I ate here was stunning and comfortably in the top echelon of dishes I've consumed in general. The japchae had beautiful texture and umami. The braised fish specialty was delicate and generous. The tteokbokki were so well balanced between sweetness and an almost bitter sharp spiciness. The yuk gaejang was the potential highlight being light but with a deep beefy flavour sometimes akin to a hamburger. Can't wait to return and trust everything on the menu is also stunning.

First time visiting this Korean restaurant on Tuesday night. Very nice and friendly staff! We really enjoy the food, and will come back again very soon! :)

Nice enough place, some dishes were a hit like the crispy chicken wings and prawn tempura. The pancakes were nice too. But some of the other dishes lacked seasoning and flavour punch. Left an annoying feeling, it has the potential to be really good if seasoning and flavour could be notched up a bit. A nice meal, just not as amazing as some of the other reviews make it out to be.

This restaurant was absolutely immaculate! The lady who served was wonderful and tremendously friendly. Treated me and my guests with beautiful amount of kindness and respect. Small Korean restaurant with fantastic food!

I've been coming to this restaurant for three years and not once have I been disappointed. Normally I come in small groups but this evening we were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and I was amazed at how efficient the service was particularly from a small restaurant. I've recommended this restaurant to all friends and family. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. The food is authentic and tasty yet the menu is simple with traditional favourites. I'm an old university student who's tried alot of restaurants down this strip of New Malden and trust me this is the best and most reasonably priced one.

Went here for the first time and definitely not the last! The budaejjigae was so delicious, the staff so friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere amazing.

Took us more than an hour to get there but everything is fabulous! We’ve tried more 10 Korean in London and here is definitely the best one. I hope I could give a six star review

토나옴...제육에서 수북한 하얀색 털이달린 정체모를게 나옴오질않나 사이드 김치는....한점 들자 침처럼 쭈욱 뭐가 늘어나질 않나 끈적끈적....너무 비위상하고 생각만해도 토할거같아요 맛도 제육은 고기냄새 심하게 나고 심지어 향신료 냄새가 났네요..

I go often with my in-laws and my 5 months old baby and we really love the food. The soups are freshly made and incredibly delicious. The taste of fresh, good quality ingredients satisfies my taste buds! 😋 We will definitely come here often in the future too!!!

The seafood pancake was SO GOOD, so was the tangsoo yuk (sweet & sour pork). 3 free small dishes provided. The beef was a little too sweet, otherwise would have given 5*. Friendly staff.

Never had Korean food before, the staff were very friendly and helpful suggesting a selection of their favourite dishes. Food was very fresh, all cooked to order. Restaurant was full of Koreans so they're doing something right. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you want to try Korean food for the first time. Prices are very reasonable and service excellent. Will be going back to try some more dishes. Great experience.

This place is the one I like best. I visit plenty of restaurants but here I go the most. The stuff is very chummy and the food they place on your table is so delicious. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant could be one of the best Korean in London or UK. I strongly recommend clam dish with spices (the first photo, full of flavour but not too spicy) and Seafood pancake, but everything is quite delicious. Interior deco is simple but large windows bring in natural lights which is nice. This is a small and popular place so booking is a must.

Had delivery home. Very smelly chicken in Dakdoritang. Only one out of five was able to eat some because of the bad smell. Called to say the chicken wasn't fresh but they insisted it was. Didn't hear any sorry. Saengsunjjim was good though.

One of a very few places that only use calamari in their Pa Jeon, as opposed to mixed seafood. Excellent quality allround despite late arrival (due to bicycle delivery on Uber).
