Icicles in Kirklees

We had the ice cream delivered to our home, it was gorgeous. There were quite a few flavours to choose from. I was surprised how scrumptious it tasted.

very disappointed, my order looked rushed not appealing at all. as you can see from the 1st photo this what i expected to come however it didn’t. my crepe was soggy with the sauce leaking everywhere. paid nearly 5 pound for this. also paid 4 pound for a slice on cheese cake… smallest piece i have every seen, not sure if i will be ordering again.

Staff are very rude and unprofessional very long wait and food was coled and not nice at All wat a waste of money

My crepe was literal rubber and my friends cookie dough was a literal cookie. I am so dissapointed and very surprised it was that bad. Will not be going again any time soon they need to sort this up out!

Came in on 30.3 as we fancied a little treat. The young lass working was very helpful and made a cracking waffle! She was very quick and kept the shop tidy which was nice to see. Will definitely be returning soon.

We ordered a waffle and sundae to takeaway. No one else in the shop and the assistant asked if we could wait outside so we did. We received our order, the waffle wasn’t as big as what we’d previously had and I’m not sure how she expected us to eat the waffle and Sunday without a knife/fork and spoon? Went back in to ask for this and she gave me one plastic fork and spoon. Hmmm not sure how you eat a waffle with just a plastic fork! Asked for more cutlery which she gave me. The waffle wasn’t warm and not what they used to make, it was also complete with the shop assistant’s hair which was gross! The knife, fork and sooon broke within seconds. Considering she asked us to wait outside due to Covid you’d think a hair net and perhaps gloves when serving and handing knifes and folks would be hygiene appropriate. Won’t be returning anytime soon for £11.00, will go to McDonald’s next time.

I am extremely disappointed, we tried to order several times from just eat/online the website and when we couldn’t try we rang then and spoke to them and they said they can’t do anything and we said we will try again, we couldn’t managed to do it. So we rang back and said is there any other option as we only had card. A older lady said the driver could bring a card machine, which we was fine with so we told her the order and off we went, a hour and a half went by and no food came, we rang them back and we rang a good 4 times with no answer and the phone was being ended, finally they answered. We was answered by a young girl, who was very rude. We told her the situation to which she said out order was fake so they ripped up our receipt. To this we carried on to ask what’s happened and if we are going to get it. To this the lady’s whoever they were got rude and I am extremely disappointed in this service and I think customer service needs to be changed. I work on this Industry and I know if I was like this and didn’t help and speak correctly to the customers I would have something said to me. I think the manger of this place needs to have a word with there staff

Went tonight with my little girl and hubby, we all had different milkshakes they were thick very flavorful, and yummy . The caramel blondie and brownies (vg) were amazing too . I will be back next week.

cookie dough was amazing, great service, friendly staff. Last but not least the brownie was spectacular! 10/10 would definitely recommend🙂

Just taken my grandkids for milkshakes they really enjoyed them. I myself had a Ferrero roche hot chocolate which was lovely with the chocolate junk yard cake 5 stars all round from my family..

Went with my family on sunday. I had a cookie dough and I must say it was the best I had in huddersfield. I also had a oreo milkshake and it was spot on me and my family will defo be going again.

Visited here today. Service was terrible.We were the only customers when we ordered and an hour later we still hadn’t been served our food. We ended up having one item(ordered 5) brought to us and taking the others out,I also had a refund on an item as would have been longer. There was no cutlery to eat with. No manager available. On our way out we realised others had been served before us and “take aways” dealt with. We will not be returning

well, let me tell you... the food was tasty as were the staff... i would come again .... truely scrumptious

It says OPEN but hardly ever is id check before making the visit ive been 4 times not open not a soul in site WONT be making a 5th visit

We had talked about going to Icicles, but never got round to it. Today (20/2/18) is my husbands birthday. Last night we decided to stop and have a look on our way home. We went in and had a cup of tea and some ice cream. This was all very nice and I was pleased to see they have fruit tea on offer. We ended up ordering a crepe with sugar and lemon, which was also very nice. We had already decided we were going to go back tonight for a birthday treat. Tonight we both had waffles. I had the P-Nutty and my husband had The Yankee. They were amazing! Came with cream and ice cream and the flavours were great. This is a great place, and they are in the process of making more seating upstairs. The place is clean and tidy and it is fascinating watching them making all the different shakes. Go and support this new business, help them go from strength to strength. We will be going back again and will take people there. Well done guys, keep up the good work!

This place is Heaven if you are a sweet toothed child! Basically, you choose your batter- based base - waffle, crepe, cookie dough - and add the ice cream, cream, sweets and chocolate based topping (or fruit ). My children (6, 9) loved it, especially how all the sweets are displayed on the wall. Probably not one for dieters though! We all had waffles. They were massive, the toppings were generous and the bill satisfyingly small! Not the place for a main meal, but definitely a good place for a treat.

I have been to this place several times since it opened and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is fab. Kids heaven (and grown ups :) )
