Best place to eat in Nottingham.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time on Saturday lunch. We didn't book and were seated at the bar to dine,we both ordered tapas fron the express menu.The depth of flavour in every dish was outstanding and at £18.99 each incredible value for the quality of food offered which would normally be out of our budget. The atmosphere was very relaxed and each staff member was friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food menu ,an absolute credit to the establishment. Couldn't fault anything at all,Perfect experience. Can't wait to visit again.

Delicious food with great service. The tapas menu is creative and makes the most of seasonal ingredients. They even got my partner liking mushrooms.

Absolutely Fab. Our server Shel looked after us really well from the moment we arrived to our final departure. Every single dish was beautifully executed and packed with flavour. P.S. the Coffee Cabana cocktails are stunning, if you like Espresso Martinis you must get one of these!

Wonderful food. Wonderful wine. Best mushrooms we’ve ever had. Shame the flavour was so similar to another dish we had (inside out chicken). There didn’t seem much on the menu to freshen up the dishes, and they had run out of prawns (my favourite)… something fresh or citrusy would have made it perfect.

A really nice place to eat, we sat at the bar by choice and would do so again. The service was great, and we were able to take our time as much as we liked. Very nice.

Honestamente puedo decir que esta fue la mejor experiencia de tapas que hemos tenido en el Reino Unido. El menú no es tan extenso como otros lugares en los que hemos estado, pero eso es todo para bien. Hay un montón para elegir, y de una manera te obliga a probar su comida más inusual - no estándar - y cada plato era absolutamente delicioso. Las patatas bravas -el producto básico de tapas- fue el mejor que hemos probado, pero también había platos fascinantes y emocionantes con zanahoria, repollo, remolacha (no es algo que me guste habitualmente, pero esto era precioso) y setas. Las alitas de pollo de adentro hacia afuera son para morir. Pedimos más. El pan catalán -un brebaje parecido a la bruschetta- era eminentemente burlón y también teníamos más de eso. Tienen -además de los churros obligatorios- un par de postres especiales que vale la pena dejar espacio. También sus cócteles especiales eran muy agradables - sabores diferentes y deliciosos! No puedo culpar a esta comida. No solo eso, sino que teniendo en cuenta la calidad, el costo total de una comida para cuatro personas con bebidas era extremadamente razonable. Golpea el bejazus de cualquier cosa en Londres por el valor, y iguala o supera en calidad, Gran Servicio también - servidores útiles y encantadores!

Excelente comida con una buena selección de opciones vegetarianas. Pintoresco entorno con un buen ambiente. Personal amable e informativo.

Nuestro camarero era brillante y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. La mejilla de buey y las alitas de pollo eran las favoritas, pero cada plato daba en el lugar. Muy recomendable!

Food was ok but not very hot. Service ok but not a great welcome - I get its busy but it was rushed and like the food lukewarm. Upstairs iberico has a great ambience but the cellar is cheerless and without decoration or charm and also draughty and chilly. Disapointing

A very nice place to go and eat in a relaxed environment. The plates come to your table when they are ready which we enjoyed as we were sharing. Everything was of good quality and well presented.

The food is excellent. Very tasty and full of flavour. The wine was very nice too. It's now my second favourite restaurant in Nottingham. I'd highly recommend.

Best tapas ever. Delicious food from a menu that included some dishes that we have not seen elsewhere.

During a Saturday day out with girlfriends (pre-booked thinking the winter wonderland would be opening but it wasn’t!!!) we’d seen the good reviews for Iberico works tapas but it was a good walk from the station. So we went bar to bar looking at their menus for an alternative place for a light bite. However, nothing looked suitable … so we made it to Iberico JUST in time to be let in for the end of lunch service ..”if you order quickly”. We were so incredibly pleased to made it in time as the staff were absolutely charming, the food incredibly delicious, the cocktails fantastically tasty!! No exaggeration here … the vegan and carnivores were equally happy. We ended up with a booth seat for three which was also fab because the restaurant was otherwise busy and there seemed to be some tables close together - all be it I realised one area was a larger group across three tables. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant anyone who is a foodie or drinker and the disappointment of not having winter wonderland was absolutely forgotten… I’ll come back here next time I’m in Nottingham but just remember to book or get here in better time!! (Express menu made it great value too!)

We were visiting our daughter who is studying in the City.It was a busy Saturday afternoon and we hadn’t booked.We each had 2 tapas, a mixture of meat and veg. The food was delicious and really fresh and the ambiance was amazing. I would have given the review full marks, but the step and level change going to the toilets was really unexpected and a real trip hazard. All in all a really great experience.

First visit back here since 2013 and glad to see it's still doing excellent food. Went for the express menu offer and added a few extra dishes, it was excellent value for money. Loved the Spanish cheese plate, delicious bread and olives, the mackerel with hash brown was probably my favourite tapas plate, also loved the braised Rabbit empanadas. Excellent choice of wine at a decent price too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, can't wait to return

Not far from the train station in a sketchy neighborhood, a perfect stop before the return journey to London. An atmospheric cave-like setting and super service. Spicy and tangy, seasoned inside-out chicken wings, classic patatas bravas, and a vast selection of tapas… seasonal squash tapas, beetroot tapas and monk fish tapas to name a few… all super. I highly recommend.

Once again perfect, we had a lovely selection of tapas, great wine and the best Sherry. We greeted with a friendly smile and a complimentary glass of fizz for my birthday. The service was just right, not rushed at all and always helpful and prompt. We had trout, gambas, pork loin, and heritage tomato salad….all were very good. The room is so lovely and cosy and the ambience is just right. All staff excellent and friendly. One of our favourite nights out and we will be back.

My sister and I visited Bar Iberico this afternoon, and while the food was quite nice, our experience was overshadowed by a serious safety issue in the men's toilet. Unfortunately, I took a nasty fall down two massive steps leading into the restroom. Although there was a sign on the door advising to watch the step, it was too late for me. The sudden drop caught me completely off guard, and I was shaken up badly when I hit the bottom. I’m thankful I didn’t break a leg or arm, but it was a close call. This situation could easily lead to a severe injury for someone else, and I strongly urge the management to address this hazard immediately. A sign isn’t enough when the risk is so significant. It’s just not good enough. I hope they take this seriously because, apart from this, the food was enjoyable. However, safety should always come first. **Rating:** 2/5 (The food was good, but the potential danger in the restroom can't be overlooked.)

First visit here and expected v good things. The result, yes it was good but I've had better tapas in UK places. Top dishes were the inside out chicken, mutton and aubergine. Dishes not so great were the brocoli, strawberry roll, a number of others were OK. These were fairly small tapas so needed 7 in total plus desserts each. Wine choices were good. Rioja was v nice. Service friendly enough with young local staff.

The express dining menu for about £19 pp with bread and two tapas was lovely. The surcharge for a few tapas dishes of £2.50 was worth it. The ham croquette was divine, cheesy and ham, very delicious. The high standards of the food here were impressive. Although personally, not a big fan of the chicken, as they were a little dry, but the fish was amazing.

Simply delicious tapas and excellent portions in a great setting with wonderful staff. All very helpful people particularly in guiding us through the menu. Nothing more needs saying - great evening out.

This was far and above some of the best tapas I have ever had. The menu was so reasonably priced and the food just kept on coming. It was such a shame not being able to finish some of the dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous tapas plates, med or large size, I could have worked my way through the menu! Service is top notch and lovely setting, what's not to like!

Certainly our best 'foodie' discovery in Nottingham for many years, Iberico World Tapas exceed all expectations. Friendly and helpful staff, truly distinctive food served in nice surroundings made for a memorable eating experience. Must go back!

At 72 years of age I have been to more than a few tapas restaurants in my time. This one is easily the BEST! Food should not be allowed to be this good!! Highly recommended.

Great food - tapa's taken up a level (or two). Great service and atmosphere. Every dish we had was something special and would recommend you definitely try the 'inside out chicken wings' - once you've tried them you won't want wings done any other way (if only I could work out how they made them....)

Excellent. Food was excellent. As were the staff and the location. This is a destination restaurant. Very impressive.

Nothing to complain about, everything was lovely, service was prompt and we were always checked on. Would definitely recommend.

This has been a long time favourite but disappointed on Wednesday. 3 of the inside out chicken wings had no bone present. Disinterested staff - I ordered a glass of specific red wine from the menu, but white wine arrived. I explained. Then the waiter emptied the dregs of 2 bottles and used a third to deliver a glass of red. When I asked what it was, it was Rioja, not the wine I ordered. I was asked to explain which wine I'd ordered, but without being shown the wine list. I did my best and a new glass was topped up, with the bottle placed label inwards, so I still have no idea what I drank. Is this fast food or bib gourmand? Perhaps I'm just getting old. (Wish I'd gone to the Kean's Head.)

Delicious food, great service, interesting surroundings and reasonable prices.

Exquisite tastes, excellent service. We were there for dinner and we will definitely return next time we are in Nottingham. Everything we ordered was as expected. The lamb amazingly cooked, the inside out chicken wings are the best chicken wings I ever ate. The goat cheese, beetroot tapas were a favourite too. And the Catalan cheesecake was a dream! Pleasantly surprised to see the wine list brings wines from North Macedonia.

Nipped in on to the way to a gig. Ace service and absolutely fantastic flavours. Will definitely return

An exceptional meal. I took my other half out for a birthday meal and we had the most beautiful food, well presented and delicious. Great service and engafing waitresses too. We will return.

Enjoyed the experience as a whole, just felt let down by the sea food dishes as the octopus tasted bland and over cooked somewhat, the prawns didn’t have any flavour seemed washed out, the peppers though were one of my favourites along with the lamb which was the highlight definitely.

Food was fantastic. Lamb special was absolutely exquisite.

Not sure how it’s got its Michelin star rating as our overall experience last night was abit disappointing. The waitress/waiter wasn’t that friendly and seemed just focused on taking our orders as the next sitting was in two hours time and they were more interested in that than us. The food was served quickly and tasted nice although one dish the mackerel ceviche wasn’t that pleasant. The desserts were good. All 6 in our party a mixture of ages were a little disappointed and probably won’t return.

I bookes table for my birthday and they welcome me by a orange cocktail . It’s really nice, I love the salmon, chicken wing out. Staff really nice. Love it !!

The food was very nice but the staff was rude to us from the beginning. We arrived 5 minutes late to our reservation, and there were a few empty tables still. The waiter told us we can only order food in the next 15 minutes as the kitchen id closing. It seemed as if we were rushed to finish eating and. Leave as soon as possible. Wouldn’t expect this from a fine dining restaurant. Will not go again or recommend.

I went to iberico to celebrate my birthday yesterday (28-3-2024) with my family! Firstly I would like to thank Ross & his team for our fantastic experience! This place is definitely our favourite! The food & ambiance is the best, every dish was given full marks! Please pass on our appreciation to your chefs, they certainly know how to deliver! I would recommend Iberico to everyone! Amazing amazing amazing!!! The best place we have eaten at for ages!!! Firstly the staff are welcoming and attentive. The decor is subtle, but beautiful. But the food just blew us away! Everything we had was literally amazing. The only tiny (very tiny) criticism was that the patatas bravas was a little bit salty. We had bread & olives for starters. The bread was fresh, and the olives were flavourful. You know the rest of the food is going to be on point when the olive oil is pure quality! We then had lamb, chorizo, patatas bravas, however the stars of the show were the aubergine dish and the beetroot and goats curd! Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for the beautiful food and renewing our faith in eating out 🙌

Outstanding. Best tapas bar by a country mile.

This is another firm favourite for those of us who know good food.This is one of the best fine dining Tapas restaurants I've tried, the others being in London, Granada, Alicante City and Madrid

Awful attitude of staff...I asked if there was any pork in the food...I'm Jewish....thereafter the waiter kept bringing dishes and pointedly commenting on how the potatoes were pork free and kosher....then the bread was pork free and kosher...etc...you get the gist....I'm surprised he wasn't goose stepping to the table !

I have now been to this tapas restaurant three times, and each time it was excellent. The food is of the highest quality. The dishes are innovative and the chef finds interesting and successful combinations of tastes. There is always a wide choice with varied ingredients. On the last visit, we had all three "specials" and they were top notch. Very good service. Highly recommended.

Excellent dinner as usual. Brought some family for the first time and they were wowed. Always love the inside out chicken wings and churros. Coming again for lunch with a friend this weekend. So reliable and always excellent service.

This is my second time here and it does not disappoint. The tapas is some the best I've had anywhere, with some really amazing flavours. The Bream was excellent, and service first class. If you in Nottingham I would recommend it.

Relaxed, tasty, innovative…fabulous spot for lunch with friends. Saturday lunch is a quiet time for many restaurants. It made it more special for us as we had first class service from the team. Andrew could not have been more helpful. His knowledge of the menu and wine list was really impressive and helped ensure we got the best choices. The Japanese flavours were really singing off the plate. Portion sizes were perfect and the dishes were beautifully presented. Real magic from the kitchen. You have to put this restaurant on your A list! Desert was very special based on a Barraquito cocktail.

Always excellent food and service, the fourth time we've been and it was as good as ever.

A married couple here for dinner on a quiet and rainy Tuesday night, we were surprised to find the restaurant was largely full. Luckily there was a spare table (we hadn't booked), and staff had us sat down quickly. Of the staff, our table was waited by the most knowledgeable and pleasant young lady, thank you Emma. We chose three starters, and three mains; this was quite enough for the two of us, and allied to a lovely malbec red we had a wonderful evening meal. Emma suggested the dishes we had chosen were largely her recommendations too, and we positively gushed with enthusiasm. The sweets were also of very high standard, there was nothing we could possibly improve. The meal was worth every penny, go here for the best international fusion tapas dishes, you will NOT come away disappointed. Do book to avoid disappointment.

Standouts were the patatas bravas and chorizo. Service was attentive, creating a convivial atmosphere. However, some dishes lacked the wow factor. Nevertheless, a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely fabulous tapas always our go to when in notts. The bulgogi mushrooms and chicken wings are awesome!

Superb restaurant that offers a true taste of Spanish cuisine. One of or perhaps THE best in Nottingham. Opted for the lunch offer: 2 tapas plus Catalonia bread or Sourdough. All the tapas ordered were excellent in both taste and amount, plus delicately presented. Also decided to have a Spanish desert - the Churros and hot chocolate and the treacle tart were chosen and again mouthwateringly delicious. Service was friendly and the staff were very knowledgeable in each dish if we had a question. Would definitely return.

Visited here for the first time last night. The venue, the food,the atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We weren't rushed at all and the staff were very attentive without being overbearing. The food was cooked to perfection and the servings were very generous. Can't praise it highly enough.

We love Iberico! The inside out chicken wings are to die for and we make the trip over from Derbyshire just for them! Staff are always polite and attentive and the food is always amazing.

Found this gem in the Michelin guide as a bib gourmand and very glad we came. Lovely ambience and food was excellent; pork belly, mushrooms (crispy and sticky, fried in the lightest of batters; wings (yum) patatas bravas (like perfect roasties, crispy on outside, fluffy on inside) all absolutely delicious. The experience was enhanced by the service from Andrew. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and happy throughout recommend dishes, all of which we ended up ordering! Prices white reasonable for the food and service standard. A must visit.

Amazing Tapas, weve been a few times and woudl highly recomend

The food was excellent and interesting as always, its more fine dining small plates with a tapas twist so that few tapas staples are there. The list is short and chnges regularly so there is always something new to try. Staff are excellent and are as attentive as they are passionate and most seem to have been here for years. The thing is, my wife and I have a lot of stress in our lives but at Iberico we always have a great time and leave with a better relationship than we came in with and thats what restaurants should be about.

We went on new year's Eve and the entire experience was superb. It's a small, cosy venue, our waiter was superb and the food was gorgeous. Couldn't fault a thing and it wasn't expensive either. Loved it, definitely going to be back

Really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance at the location. Service was good, and the food came out at a steady pace, so we had always got at least one plate to be getting on with. I will certainly be going back.

This is a excellent tapas restaurant in the heart of Nottingham; excellent and imaginative food, excellent service and a great ambience-will definitely return when we can !

tried to ring the restaurant 47 times prior my booking, aware of the late/cancellation policy. Upon arriving at the restaurant 20 mins late (with reasoning and evidence of trying to get in contact with the restaurant) we was ‘greeted’ by the manager who rudely exclaimed how we have 10 mins to order from the kitchen. He continued to look at his watch, rushing us to our table, not allowing us to apologise or explain our situation of being sent to iberico tapas bar instead of iberico world tapas on our maps. We booked this experience for my partners 27th birthday and has honestly ruined our day. The service alone was the worst service I have ever received - being a restaurant manager myself, this could have been diluted by actually speaking to us. The young waitress was lovely when we explained we felt uncomfortable staying in a restaurant where we could be treated so badly by the manager.
