Enjoyed the experience as a whole, just felt let down by the sea food dishes as the octopus tasted bland and over cooked somewhat, the prawns didn’t have any flavour seemed washed out, the peppers though were one of my favourites along with the lamb which was the highlight definitely.

Food was fantastic. Lamb special was absolutely exquisite.

Not sure how it’s got its Michelin star rating as our overall experience last night was abit disappointing. The waitress/waiter wasn’t that friendly and seemed just focused on taking our orders as the next sitting was in two hours time and they were more interested in that than us. The food was served quickly and tasted nice although one dish the mackerel ceviche wasn’t that pleasant. The desserts were good. All 6 in our party a mixture of ages were a little disappointed and probably won’t return.

I bookes table for my birthday and they welcome me by a orange cocktail . It’s really nice, I love the salmon, chicken wing out. Staff really nice. Love it !!

The food was very nice but the staff was rude to us from the beginning. We arrived 5 minutes late to our reservation, and there were a few empty tables still. The waiter told us we can only order food in the next 15 minutes as the kitchen id closing. It seemed as if we were rushed to finish eating and. Leave as soon as possible. Wouldn’t expect this from a fine dining restaurant. Will not go again or recommend.

I went to iberico to celebrate my birthday yesterday (28-3-2024) with my family! Firstly I would like to thank Ross & his team for our fantastic experience! This place is definitely our favourite! The food & ambiance is the best, every dish was given full marks! Please pass on our appreciation to your chefs, they certainly know how to deliver! I would recommend Iberico to everyone! Outstanding. Best tapas bar by a country mile.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! The best place we have eaten at for ages!!! Firstly the staff are welcoming and attentive. The decor is subtle, but beautiful. But the food just blew us away! Everything we had was literally amazing. The only tiny (very tiny) criticism was that the patatas bravas was a little bit salty. We had bread & olives for starters. The bread was fresh, and the olives were flavourful. You know the rest of the food is going to be on point when the olive oil is pure quality! We then had lamb, chorizo, patatas bravas, however the stars of the show were the aubergine dish and the beetroot and goats curd! Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for the beautiful food and renewing our faith in eating out 🙌

This is another firm favourite for those of us who know good food.This is one of the best fine dining Tapas restaurants I've tried, the others being in London, Granada, Alicante City and Madrid

Awful attitude of staff...I asked if there was any pork in the food...I'm Jewish....thereafter the waiter kept bringing dishes and pointedly commenting on how the potatoes were pork free and kosher....then the bread was pork free and kosher...etc...you get the gist....I'm surprised he wasn't goose stepping to the table !

I have now been to this tapas restaurant three times, and each time it was excellent. The food is of the highest quality. The dishes are innovative and the chef finds interesting and successful combinations of tastes. There is always a wide choice with varied ingredients. On the last visit, we had all three "specials" and they were top notch. Very good service. Highly recommended.

This is my second time here and it does not disappoint. The tapas is some the best I've had anywhere, with some really amazing flavours. The Bream was excellent, and service first class. If you in Nottingham I would recommend it.

Excellent dinner as usual. Brought some family for the first time and they were wowed. Always love the inside out chicken wings and churros. Coming again for lunch with a friend this weekend. So reliable and always excellent service.

Relaxed, tasty, innovative…fabulous spot for lunch with friends. Saturday lunch is a quiet time for many restaurants. It made it more special for us as we had first class service from the team. Andrew could not have been more helpful. His knowledge of the menu and wine list was really impressive and helped ensure we got the best choices. The Japanese flavours were really singing off the plate. Portion sizes were perfect and the dishes were beautifully presented. Real magic from the kitchen. You have to put this restaurant on your A list! Desert was very special based on a Barraquito cocktail.

Always excellent food and service, the fourth time we've been and it was as good as ever.

A married couple here for dinner on a quiet and rainy Tuesday night, we were surprised to find the restaurant was largely full. Luckily there was a spare table (we hadn't booked), and staff had us sat down quickly. Of the staff, our table was waited by the most knowledgeable and pleasant young lady, thank you Emma. We chose three starters, and three mains; this was quite enough for the two of us, and allied to a lovely malbec red we had a wonderful evening meal. Emma suggested the dishes we had chosen were largely her recommendations too, and we positively gushed with enthusiasm. The sweets were also of very high standard, there was nothing we could possibly improve. The meal was worth every penny, go here for the best international fusion tapas dishes, you will NOT come away disappointed. Do book to avoid disappointment.

Standouts were the patatas bravas and chorizo. Service was attentive, creating a convivial atmosphere. However, some dishes lacked the wow factor. Nevertheless, a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely fabulous tapas always our go to when in notts. The bulgogi mushrooms and chicken wings are awesome!

Superb restaurant that offers a true taste of Spanish cuisine. One of or perhaps THE best in Nottingham. Opted for the lunch offer: 2 tapas plus Catalonia bread or Sourdough. All the tapas ordered were excellent in both taste and amount, plus delicately presented. Also decided to have a Spanish desert - the Churros and hot chocolate and the treacle tart were chosen and again mouthwateringly delicious. Service was friendly and the staff were very knowledgeable in each dish if we had a question. Would definitely return.

Visited here for the first time last night. The venue, the food,the atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We weren't rushed at all and the staff were very attentive without being overbearing. The food was cooked to perfection and the servings were very generous. Can't praise it highly enough.

We love Iberico! The inside out chicken wings are to die for and we make the trip over from Derbyshire just for them! Staff are always polite and attentive and the food is always amazing.

Found this gem in the Michelin guide as a bib gourmand and very glad we came. Lovely ambience and food was excellent; pork belly, mushrooms (crispy and sticky, fried in the lightest of batters; wings (yum) patatas bravas (like perfect roasties, crispy on outside, fluffy on inside) all absolutely delicious. The experience was enhanced by the service from Andrew. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and happy throughout recommend dishes, all of which we ended up ordering! Prices white reasonable for the food and service standard. A must visit.

Amazing Tapas, weve been a few times and woudl highly recomend

The food was excellent and interesting as always, its more fine dining small plates with a tapas twist so that few tapas staples are there. The list is short and chnges regularly so there is always something new to try. Staff are excellent and are as attentive as they are passionate and most seem to have been here for years. The thing is, my wife and I have a lot of stress in our lives but at Iberico we always have a great time and leave with a better relationship than we came in with and thats what restaurants should be about.

We went on new year's Eve and the entire experience was superb. It's a small, cosy venue, our waiter was superb and the food was gorgeous. Couldn't fault a thing and it wasn't expensive either. Loved it, definitely going to be back

Really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance at the location. Service was good, and the food came out at a steady pace, so we had always got at least one plate to be getting on with. I will certainly be going back.

tried to ring the restaurant 47 times prior my booking, aware of the late/cancellation policy. Upon arriving at the restaurant 20 mins late (with reasoning and evidence of trying to get in contact with the restaurant) we was ‘greeted’ by the manager who rudely exclaimed how we have 10 mins to order from the kitchen. He continued to look at his watch, rushing us to our table, not allowing us to apologise or explain our situation of being sent to iberico tapas bar instead of iberico world tapas on our maps. We booked this experience for my partners 27th birthday and has honestly ruined our day. The service alone was the worst service I have ever received - being a restaurant manager myself, this could have been diluted by actually speaking to us. The young waitress was lovely when we explained we felt uncomfortable staying in a restaurant where we could be treated so badly by the manager.

Just ate at Iberico World Tapas tonight. Meal was average to good and wait staff very good but the manager has serious issues and is probably in the wrong profession. We walked in at 5:00. He said he couldn’t seat us in the restaurant because all the tables were reserved so seated us in the balcony area by the door. At the end of our meal and when we we’re about to leave (at 6:50) I asked why he had refused to seat us in the main dining area as the entire restaurant was empty except for one table. He still insisted every table was booked. When I tried to explain he could have limited our time at a table he said I was unreasonable and followed me out of the restaurant yelling ‘some people have jobs’ Don’t know who owns the restaurant but they need to seriously look at this manager and ask themselves how much damage he is doing to their restaurant’s reputation! Needless to say I will not return and advise everyone to give it a miss because should any issues arise while dining there, this manager is not going to be willing to resolve them.

Not sure where to start. We booked the table for 8 pm and once arrived the place was nearly full. We got, I called it "naughty table". The size and location were silly. A little corner table for two right at the bottom of the stairs and at the passage. More for "eat quick and go". Nearly touched someone else's back, once they arrived. Everything squished like sardines in the can. The place is not big in general, and so the amount of staff was crazy high. Each of them served us during the evening. They were all very friendly though, in particular a young Hungarian girl. She was lovely, and I appreciate her interaction with clients. As someone with 8 years of experience in the restaurant, I understand how important this is and how a simple interaction like this attracts people. Food arrived quickly. It was good, but I would expect more from a Michelin Star restaurant. My impression is that the food was adapted to the English taste, so not as extraordinary as I would expect. The mushrooms were tasteful and crunchy, really good, and the churros were fresh and soft and served with delicious chocolate. However, I was disappointed not to see any vegan options on the menu. I would appreciate more vegetables without dairy addition. I do not fancy marshmallows, but the strawberries served with a marshmallow sort of dip were exquisite. Generally, a bit too expensive for the amount of food we ordered, limited menu with a lack of real Spanish cuisine and a lack of vegan options. I am sure I won't be coming back soon, unless unintentionally. Ah, nearly forgot to mention that a reservation is required, especially during the weekend.

Dinner Iberico World Tapas The Big sister to Bar Iberico. For all you tapas lovers, this is a must visit. Great value early bird menu. We went for the evening special which is 20% off all food and drink. A couple of snacks of homemade sourdough and our favourite Padrón peppers. Tapas we chose Spiced Carrots 🥕 Charred Broccoli 🥦 Chorizo Patatas Bravas And, of course, the famous inside-out chicken wings. For dessert their Churros with chocolate sauce As well as a cheeky espresso Martini.

5 stars but only because I did not have to pay the bill.

Have to say the food was top end and the service was brilliant too. Our waitress was fantastic and knew all the ins and outs about the plates.

Thoroughly enjoyable tapas. Well worth the walk in the rain. Good size portions and both the sea bream and mackerel were cooked to perfection. Sadly no dessert photos. Too full! Good service and helpful staff.

Visited for my birthday and service was impeccable as always. Staff are friendly attentive and knowledgeable. Got a free glass of Buck’s Fizz for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Tapas was all brilliant. Not too long a wait and all delicious. Padron peppers are always a favourite and didn’t disappoint. Iberico ham was just divine. All was really fresh and delicious. Churros to finish the meal were a great ending. Always a treat to go to and lived up to expectations.

Great menu, with a comprehensive range of tasty tapas and plenty of other options. Greeted by Ian, very professional and friendly guy with a good knowledge of the menu and good recommendations. Table service was provided by Alisha, fantastic friendly and helpful from start to finish. Totally positive experience, highly recommended.

Service was brilliant, food was amazing

Was given a small bar style table in an empty restaurant. Then a person dinning by themselves was sat next to us when the restaurant is empty and this person was coughing and blowing there nose every 3 minutes which was just disgusting and clearly noticeable. The potatoes which were suppose to be triple cooked tasted like they were left under a hot lamp all day. When we were told at the end of our meal that a desert was included in the menu before 6:45 we said thank you and we will take a look only to be told moments later that it’s actually 5 pounds more just added to a overall disappointment experience. Normally a few things here wouldn’t bother me but I just expected a better eating experience from this place. Me and my partner love the Hockley restaurant and have been going for years and this was the first time at the original spot and I did like the decor and the staff were really perlite. The waitress who’s served us was very professional and we did enjoy a lot of the dishes but I don’t think I I will return.

Visited this evening with our daughter for her 18th birthday and it was just a lovely meal with attentive staff and delicious dishes. So glad we chose this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is tasty and nicely presented, the building itself adds to the ambiance. Would recommend this restaurant without a doubt.

Came away feeling underwhelmed.Of the 4 tapas dishes we ordered only one had a wow factor for taste. The other 3 I have had much better in lesser rated venues.The staff we lovely, efficient and knowledgeable of the food and wine and the environment is lovely… Just a shame that the food did not meet expectations

Wow, wow wow. This little restaurant is out of this world. Such a relaxed atmosphere, feels really laid back but still professional. Great to just order little and often plates. Great value, could spend hours drinking catching up with friends and grazing. We had the cheese and meat platter, prawns, potato’s which where to die for, and goodness know what else. We lost count of what we ordered but each dish was so tasty. Highly recommend

We had the early evening special menu which was a good price at just under £15pp. The Gambas, patatas bravas and inside out chicken lollipops were very good. The pork belly was almost inedible - extremely tough and grisly. When you see pork belly on a menu you think it will be cooked properly as in slowly so that the fat melts and the meat becomes tender but not this dish so definitely one to avoid. Another dish that really wasn’t very nice was the seabass - served cold, it had a coating on it that had it been hot would have been lovely but this was straight out of the fridge and very damp (imagine soggy stone cold fish fingers but thinner) - odd. To finish on a positive note, the restaurant is lovely and service was excellent.

Brill experience, truly high quality food

If this place was further south, it would be £40-50 more expensive (based on four people). Excellent food and friendly service - highlights were the gambas, pork belly, charcuterie & cheese board, and oh-my-god, the inside-out chicken wings were out of this world. Plus a decent white rioja for £24 and fantastic churros. 100% recommend.

Patatas bravas and gambas with shell on were very good and traditional. Unfortunately, the rest of the tapas we ordered wasn’t so good. The beetroot was cooked very well, however, it was overpowered by strong artificial tasting orange. The tomato dish had a lot of bean/pea purée and some strong herbs which again overpowered the tomatoes. Finally, the spicy pork belly was a little chewy and a lot of the pieces on the skewer were just fat which was quite sickly. Perhaps some of the other dishes are better! Friendly staff, lovely decor and nice atmosphere.

I know it’s been a while since we’ve been ‘out out’ but the food was a taste sensation. I think my favourite was the beetroot, orange and cashew - the balance of flavours was just stunning, closely followed by the Heirloom tomatoes which were up there with the best tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. Patatas Bravas were gorgeous and authentic. Lovely setting and nice and attentive staff. I would highly recommend a visit!

This restaurant was not our first choice. We picked it after our first choice had to cancel due to Covid HOWEVER this should of been first choice as it’s an absolute gem of a restaurant!!!The food is fresh, flavoursome and authentically presented whilst the atmosphere and staff make the experience all the more special.Between the two of us we made sure we sampled plenty of the menu but we are both agreed that the Spicy Belly Pork, The Gambas and the Salty peppers where our favourite tasty treats of the evening.In fact I would very happily eat it all again whilst typing this review

Amazing Beat restaurant I’ve been in a long time. Everything was beautiful. The beef and sea bass were tremendous. It was worth every penny. The food here is amazing and well worth a visit. I will be coming here again very soon.

I now live over 200 miles away but get back here as often as I can. Visited Friday evening and it was as good as ever, Iberico Ham was fantastic, chicken wings were superb and I was so glad to see the Black Cod on specials menu. Great to try a few new dishes which were all lovely and tasty. Dont be like Derby and let this amazing restaurant disappear, support it as much as you can, I certainly will as much as possible

Mi amigo y yo, que es vegano, vinimos aquí por casualidad y me alegro de haberlo hecho. La comida fue absolutamente deliciosa, fue entregada de manera oportuna y el precio fue increíblemente razonable, tomamos 2 copas grandes de vino y numerosas tapas por alrededor de 40. El servicio fue increíble, nuestra camarera Ella hizo todo lo posible, le encantó su actitud y atención a los detalles, pedimos un vino que no era vegano por error y Ella lo comprendió de inmediato y nos ofreció 2 vasos de prueba para probar como alternativa , bien hecho Ella; ) Definitivamente lo recomendaría y definitivamente regresaré.

Esto incluía una selección de panes y dos platos de tapas cada uno (algunos tenían un pequeño suplemento).Cada plato era claramente casero y hecho con amor. Los sabores eran preciosos y no decepcionaron.La foto muestra patatas bravas, carpaccio de vieiras y filete de ternera onglet. Pan de masa fermentada. Great food and ambience, and close to The Lace Market Hotel. Had the fixed price menu which was great value for money.

La comida aquí es excelente y un planeta diferente al de las tapas de cadena. El servicio es atento pero tranquilo y las políticas del cv 19 son tranquilizadoras pero no afectan el ambiente. El pollo y las gambas eran nuestros favoritos, pero todo estaba bien. El único problema es que los menús de bebidas son a través del sitio web, ¡pero el WiFi era dudoso y todo es subterráneo!

Fantástica comida y servicio como siempre. Recibimos bebidas de cortesía a la llegada para celebrar nuestro aniversario: ¡un toque encantador! Las alitas de pollo al revés y las croquetas de cerdo son imprescindibles. El personal fue extremadamente atento y acogedor, ¡lo que siempre nos hace volver! No podría haber pedido una mejor velada.

Mi esposo y yo visitamos Iberico este fin de semana, la primera vez desde el cierre. Debo decir que la comida era aún más deliciosa de lo que recordamos. Teníamos la tabla de pan catalán y quesos españoles para comenzar, seguida de pimientos de queso de cabra de piquillo con miel de avellana, filete de ternera y salsa de trufa, alitas de pollo al revés, gambas a la plancha de patatas bravas (¡por supuesto!) La lista de vinos estaba bien entregada y el personal pudo brindar recomendaciones de vinos para acompañar los platos que pedimos. Compartimos una porción de churros dulces calientes entre nosotros para terminar acompañados de cafés licor. ¡Las precauciones de seguridad fueron excelentes con menús de un solo uso, estaciones de desinfección de manos y el personal estaba limpiando para siempre! En general, una maravillosa experiencia culinaria. Nuestro restaurante favorito en Nottingham. ¡Nos vemos muy pronto!

Hemos visitado el bar iberico en varias ocasiones, por lo que decidimos ceder este lugar ya que nos informaron que estaba abierto primero y es un comedor más formal reconocido por michellin.Nos quedamos impresionados con el servicio y la comida era increíble, la oferta de cena exprés tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio.Todo el personal es muy consciente también.Recomendamos las copas de pollo y el tataki de salmón.Sin embargo, no recomendaría ir si eres exigente con la comida, ya que los platos son mucho más elegantes que el bar ibéricos.Definitivamente visitaría de nuevo

Comida normalita, ambiente horrible. La comida estaba bien, aunque cobraba 4 por pan para ir con el plato de entrada. Un poco excesivo. Las tapas estaban bien. Aunque las potatas bravos estaban demasiado saladas y el plato de berenjenas muy dulce.The English Rose estuvo sobresaliente, aunque no pudimos terminar, fue la velada arruinada por un grupo de muchachos muy borrachos que no habrían estado fuera de lugar en Wetherspoons.El personal simplemente dijo que les había hablado, lo cual no fue así, y que no podían hacer nada. Ruego diferir y creo que deberían haberles pedido que se fueran, ya que hace mucho que terminaron su comida y deberían haber estado en el pub.Esta no es una buena experiencia gastronómica.Ellos remataron la noche diciéndome dos veces que mi tarjeta de crédito había sido rechazada, sin notar que no había conexión. Lovely setting below the Justice Museum. Some tapas dishes I was not familiar with but one in particular was absolutely delicious - the octopus and prawn fideua. Could have done with larger portions of Manchego cheese.

A nicely situated restaurant for Motorpoint Arena and Metronome. We received a really fabulous welcome and service was extremely friendly and efficient throughout our time in Iberico. Had a nice seat at the bar in a very busy service. Great atmosphere and surroundings. I don't particularly want to contradict a previous review but, the pork pinchos were absolutely superb. Stunning sourdough and lovely tapas, all washed down with a really good Rioja. We will be back

What a fantastic restaurant. We’ve been coning to Iberico for many years and we always enjoy it! On our most recent visit we found the express menu to be fantastic value for money. Service is always friendly and efficient 😊

Absolutely beautifully flavoured dishes of tapas in a welcoming and warm atmosphere. A mix of Spanish tapas meeting Japanese with miso & teriyaki flavours in some dishes. I would love to visit again. Booking was essential and 48hrs notice for cancellations are required. We ordered 3 plates each and shared, this was plenty for us (although we squeezed in a dessert). Well worth saving up for a visit.

We’ve always loved this place but it’s really going down hill with its service. Food is still good but doesn’t wow us like it used too.

Usually really love it here. Hoping it was a 'one off'? But an expensive one for us, the pork belly was really dry, patatas bravas were just unseasoned roast spuds sadly. The miso cod is way over priced, and yes you should pay for sustainable fish, but it's a very tiny portion.Service was attentive and faultless, as ever, in lovely surroundings. We had mixed feelings about the visit to be honest.

Well what can I say??? Valentines meal!!! Never felt so awkward in a restaurant. Staff watching you like hawks literally. Rushed, not relaxing. No space between courses. No tact what so ever. Not as though it was cheap either. Won’t be rushing back.

Wow!! The food is unreal, Miso Black Cod, Iberico Ham, Inside out Chicken Wings and not to mention the Patatas Bravas. Everything was just delicious! Couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Great location, ambience, wine selection and interior design. Will be coming back again and again.

Another fabulous visit. The clams, risotto, spring onion & quail eggs dish was absolutely amazing as was the broken pasta, kale, wild mushroom and truffle dish. This remains my favourite restaurant in Nottingham, can’t wait to visit again!

Romantic and charming Spanish Tapas restaurant in the centre of town. Entrance can be missed easily - it’s opposite the Cock & Hoop bar. Service was friendly and attentive. The Charcuterie and cheese board was great with some good ham on offer. The inside out Chicken wings were very flavoursome with some oriental influences coming through. The Blackened Cod was outstanding and the sauces that accompanied it were amazing. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cosy and intimate, but relaxed dining experience.

The food was delicious and accounts for the three stars. Otherwise, the experience was disappointing. The staff team were inexperienced and alternated between totally ignoring us and swamping us with dishes. The restaurant isn’t especially clean (cobwebs all over the loos). Our coats were jumbled up and took ages to find in the muddle of the cloakroom. It feels a little like a once-exciting hotspot has become complacent and let itself go a bit, which is sad when the food is SO great.

Great food good service would definitely visit again soon.Lovely atmosphere.Always busy so recommend to book.
