Since the relaunch the food quality is good, and the weekly menu is actually updated online. However there is now less choice (especially for sandwiches and drinks) and what is there is overpriced. Bring back fish & chips on a Friday.

The service can be very slow, especially when someone in front of you is ordering hot drinks. What should take a few minutes can take forever. Food is average. Bring back the salad bar.

Visited 3rd December- definitely open. Closes at 1500hrs Food menu looked appealing. Will be returning next week for lunch as a group

Vineries Garden Centre Lower Road
One of the best Christmas lunches I have eaten outside of home! The starter of smoked trout pate was also excellent. The service was exemplary.

Stag Hill CampusWent in to get a take out coffee. Staff were pleasant enough and didn’t wait too long. However where the drinks were served was filthy. Spilled fluids on it. Serviettes on the floor. No one was cleaning anything. The toilets OMG were disgusting. Water or some sort of fluid all over the floor. No toilet paper. No hand towels. Absolutely disgusting

80 Sydenham RoadVery disappointing visit as used to be a lovely pub. No precautions in place for covid - no details being taken from visitors and just 1 small token bottle of hand sanitiser on the bar. Big groups of very young people (made me feel old in mid-30s!)with no attempt at social distancing. Toilets were dirty and smelly. Won't be going back!

High StEstábamos en Ripley para visitar a un miembro de la familia y vino a la Media Luna para una rápida en ruta. Cerveza a buen precio, buen ambiente, y más al punto un casero y casera amables adecuados. Ojalá tuviéramos un pub como este más cerca de donde vivimos, nunca estaría fuera del lugar. Sin duda volvería si alguna vez fuéramos a estar de vuelta en Ripley.
