I went there for breakfast Saturday, Sunday and today. I loved having breakfast there. I opted for the senior breakfast. The first time I had a meat option but yesterday and today the vegetarian breakfast which I loved. Definitely would come back again

Visit here whenever in Bognor about once a fortnight. Usually have their cheese omelette as it’s so delicious. Husband always has liver and bacon which he says is the best. Don’t know what went wrong yesterday Tuesday 3rd as he fancied a change and had steak and kidney pie which was so salty he could hardly eat it all and my omelette was filled with mozzarella which I dislike and have never seen as an omelette filling, all stringy and horrible. It also was served a good while after husbands meal. The cafe was so busy and staff run off their feet. No time to ask for replacement due to car parking restrictions. Don’t know if we shall return but won’t be ordering omelette if we do.

Howard’s Seaside Restaurant & Cafe is situated in the centre of Bognor Regis. It is at the town end of the arcade. The restaurant is Immaculately clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. There is a large selection of all types of food and drinks. The food is well presented and attractive to look at. Food is available to eat, in or takeaway. Seating is available both inside and outside. It has a good selection of tables to choose from and is not cluttered. Toilets are available for customers.

Amazing all day breakfast here this morning! Definitely coming back and well worth a visit. Caters for everyone and such lovely staff and atmosphere

Had the "steak and kidney pie". The kidney tasted distinctly of liver, which I am not keen on. It was also made with the sort of puff pastry that is all but impossible to eat because it shatters as soon as you touch it with a fork. Reasonably clean, reasonably comfortable, pleasant staff and service. But I doubt if I'll go back.

To expensive for what is was, nice place but not too serve food like that, I will try again and go with my sister, that's y I think it could do with waitresses so it gives a nice warm welcome

Been here a few times now and always excellent. Standard of cooking and serving food is fantastic and so much choice. Always busy, a good sign. From snack sandwiches, lovely looking cakes and hot full meals they can’t b3beaten. Well done Howard’s.

We stopped at Howard’s for a coffee and breakfast, very good service and the food was great. We ordered the poached eggs and we were not disappointed, well cooked but yolks still runny. Friendly stall and reasonable prices.

OK, so not a full meal, just a coffee and a sandwich while shopping. Staff were helpful explaining things to customers, very friendly and polite. Sausage and caramelised onion sandwich sounded good, so that is what I ordered. Coffee came quickly closely followed by the sandwich. Well cooked sausage and plenty of it, a nice helping of onion and toasted to perfection. Warm, satisfying filling food. I would happily go back and try something for lunch. I thought the sandwich was a little expensive for what it was, but after eating it, I did not begrudge the cost.

Partner & I went in on sat for lunch. I asked a waitress what was the soup of the day, she struggled to grunt at me, clearly couldn’t speak English. We both opted for cheese & tomato panini with a bowl of chips to share & a pot of tea. The panini were very doughy with cheap cheese, chips were hot & the best thing was the tea. Wouldn’t even say it was cheap either. Very poor

We tried Howard’s for a change from our usual cafe as it was busy.. unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. We ordered food as a group of three but the dishes came out one at a time with twenty minutes separating the first to last person to be served. This meant the first person had finished before the third had started. The food itself was below standard; using the cheapest ingredients which were poorly prepared and presented. On top of this the toilets were disgustingly filthy. There are much better options available nearby.

Popped in here as I was craving a roast dinner, I ordered the roast beef dinner and was not disappointed. A really good portion of nicely cooked beef, fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a pile of roast potatoes. Very tasty. Staff were friendly.

Just wanted a simple lunch before the theatre. No plaice so opted for steak and kidney pie. Service was good…food was poor. One of our party ordered a cheeseburger…simple enough. The top of the bun was missing! Looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. Steak and kidney ..steak tough too much kidney..no taste very poor. Will definitely not return.

My first visit to this establishment despite walking past many times in the past. Very impressed and will certainly be going back. Good choice of food and beverages all served in a clean environment with comfy seats. The prices are very reasonable and most of the dishes are home produced. Had liver and bacon with chips and peas, a very generous helping and cooked beautiful. Best liver and bacon I`ve had for a number of years. Also the lemon meringue pie is superb. There is a pay and display car park within a hundred yards adjacent to the Regis centre. Pleasant attentive staff and very prompt at clearing tables. Gets busy at meal times and not much space for pushchairs and buggies but for me that was a bonus.

On our way to butlins stopped in here for a breakfast was good pricing food was average, not the best but it does the job staff were friendly too

The cheese burger and chips had the worst burger with such little effort in preparation and so far from the picture shown it was an embarrassment. To top that it tasted awful. They should be ashamed to charge £2 let alone the £7.95 asking price.

Always a safe bet for a good full English in Bognor. Lots of variations on the basic, good for people watching and pleasant staff.

A nice looking cafe in a good location close to both the town centre & the seafront that sell a good variety of hot & cold meals plus snacks on their menu, as well as cakes & hot & cold beverages, the prices do look on the steep side though depending on what you order.I visited today whilst staying local & ordered a hot chocolate, I found the service cold & uncomfortable as I kept being stared at by the young women who was making my drink & who then choose to charge me before continuing to make it, strange behavior, i found a table & couldn't get the free Wi-Fi that is promoted on their menu so I drank my drink which wasn't that warm, I then experienced another member of staff who rudely took my cup away from the table the second I finished it, I could understand that if it was busy that they may need the table but it was empty inside, this is a place I will not be returning to when I next visit Bognor Regis!

Nice breakfast unfortunately a rude member of staff.My friend is disabled.Only table available next to a drinks fridge.Two female member of staff came over to our table.One said I am trying to get to the fridge.Well we never put the table their.We would happily pass drinks over.Like we did to one customer.Very rude

I know the area but I'm not local enough to try a lot of bognor cafés, so when I walked by Howard's in the evening I figured I'd get breakfast the next morning.I regret that decision.Cheap Richmond sausages which you have to pay extra to get 2, quite frankly 2 should be standard but to charge extra for Richmond is taking the mickey. Bacon was okay but not amazing. The 2 fundamentals that make or break a full English and quite frankly Howard's failed.The cafe itself is really nice, good location with lovely seating booths and you can sit outside in the arcade if you choose, staff are friendly and approachable.Everything going for it but let's itself down with low quality ingredients for the Full English, please invest in your food you serve and I'd come back. Never thought I'd say it, but I wish I'd gone to wetherspoons.

Been a few times now and my last visit was so good I felt I had to write a review. Stopped to have a bit while out with my wife who is in a wheelchair and the staff were so helpful. Carrying out my tray. Just wish I could of taken my dogs inside

Generous portions of well cooked simple food and handy for the bus stops after a morning shopping but it does get very busy.

We went in there to have a lunch, nice clean, decent prices ordered our lunch only 2 out of the 3 items ordered came out, tried to explain but lack of English speaking made it difficult finally got there but spoiled a really nice meal

Excellent selection of food, really good even for people with limited diets, fast and polite service. Definitely worth a visit especially for families.

Very disappointed I had fish and chips and quite honestly it was awful. No taste and dry non flaky fish. My husband had a steak and kidney pie which he said was just about OK. Presentation of food on plate awful puts you off before you have a mouthful.

Revisited and still on top. Meals freshly cooked, clean, tidy and friendly service. Great to stop for coffee, snacks or meals. Competitive prices at a convenient location. Eli visit again.

Not that good food board outside not same as inside. Couple bits wanted not avalible. Staff not that pleasant more places avalible. Toilets could do with a good clean

I had a fry up, the full works, a proper fry up with fried bread! Good value, clean and very busy, always a good sign.

We use Howards and another restaurant regularly for coffee. A good test of a food oulet's quality are the numbers who frequent it, this almost always busy.

Food was horrible beef was meant to be home made it was rubbery no taste to it plus ordered chicken pasta got a bowl of chicken soup with noodles in never going to eat there again

Been here on a few occasions and each experience has got worse. The staff are unfriendly and the quality of the food is questionable. There are much better quality cafes not too far from this one. It's worth the walk !

When at Butlins we often go into Town for a meal, breakfast here is really good freshly made very good value and a really good choice. a really nice little café highly recommend for breakfast.

Howard's is hard to review, as, we have breakfast in most occasions, sometimes the food is very good indeed and on other occasions it's not. The breakfasts either have undercooked mushrooms, over cooked baked beans, burnt sausages, non runny eggs, BUT when they are done well, they're extremely nice. So it depends whos in the kitchen cooking? Is it rushed If busy?

Had a breakfast here one morning helpful staff nice food arrived quickly would certainly use again looked to have a varied menu and not too badly priced at all.

Sunday afternoon quick bite for a gluten and dairy free intolerance.

I went to the restaurant 24/6/18 .We had ordered 1 liver bacon onions and chips and Home made steak and kidney pie chips no peas but a little drop of gravy. 1 Coke and a Fanta orange £20.15 having no peas they still charged for the gravy. We waited 25 minutes for the food to come to the table, and the order was wrong. They had brought 2 liver and bacon meals, We told them of there mistake one meal was taken away then brought back telling us that it was the pie and chips meal. I said that couldn't be a pie as there was no pastry. decided I was not going to wait another 25 minutes and ask for my money back.

I have tried breakfast this morning and that was my worst experience with english breakfast. Lot's of oil in eggs. Sausage hasn't got any taste. Staff is terrible and not helpfull. Never visit again.

Friendly staff, good sized portions and fair prices particularly sandwiches, paninis, etc. - has been under same management for past 10 years so they must be doing something right - don't expect more than regular seaside cafe food - but for basic lunch break it was good wholesome food and good value

£22.60 for: ham, egg and chips; veggie lasagna and chips; kids sausage (X1), chips and beans; kids nuggets, chips and beans, with a pot of tea for two. The food was fine - we've eaten in lots of similar price-bracket cafes in seaside resorts around the UK, and in terms of quality it was mid-range. The chicken nuggets did not look massively appealing, the ham was okay quality as were the chips, but the lasagna was nice. Kids portions were big - too big for our young sons but would be plenty for most kids - looked like half a tin of beans on each plate. Convenient location between seafront and town centre so we could see how it is probably very busy in high season.

This is a popular cafe located on the seafront end of the shopping centre. Despite being busy the service was fast when we visited for lunch. Two teas and bacon sandwiches came a total of about £10. Food was good value and staff were friendly.

This cafe is in the arcade near the car park on the front, so is very convenient with lots of seating under cover. Pretty acerage all round not cheap or expensive, food Ok but not impressive. Great for tea and cake, not so good for breakfast.

Another trip over to bognor last week. I walked past Howard's, it was quite busy, great to see as the food must be good.

We have to go to Bognor every couple of weeks for family reasons, and we usually pop into Howards for something to eat and a drink, on Sat 30/9/17 went in for a meal and coffee I ordered the veg lasagne with the option of chips or salad, at the counter I was not asked which I would prefer, the service was unusually slow but the staff are jolly and pleasant, anyway I got my lunch and although well presented I thought it very poor value, a lettuce leaf, half a tomato and a sptinkle of cress does not constitute a 'salad' and the bowl that the lasagne came in was very small roughly 7 ins, I left as I had come in, hungry!

Popped in for breakfast with my partner. Wish we didn't two large breakfast total cost £17.75 .what did I get deep fried bread deep fried mushrooms 4 half's. Deep fried hash brown two cheap sausages spoonful baked beans. And the only reason they got two stars is for the bacon .worse breakfast i have ever had since moving to this town 30 years ago give it a big swerve .save the money instead .

While staying at Butlins for the weekend we thought we would pop in here before looking around the town center.. Well it was OK the place wasnt the Cleansed and it was over priced for what you order.... Had to Ask for a glass No ice the can wasn't cold. And the food was Average

I had ham and cheese panini with side salad. The ham was lovely and fresh and the salad was very fresh and crispy very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and curtious. Not my first visit and not my last.

Looking for somewhere to eat that was reasonably priced in the middle of Bognor Regis , a group of us came across this small cafe. The printed menu was good with the addition of daily specials. We ordered our meal and drinks at the counter and given a printed number to await our meals. Those with difficulty carrying their drinks, the drinks were brought to the table by staff. I chose a pot of tea for one. This automatically came with an extra jug of boiling water to ensure two large cups of tea. Meals came relatively quickly and you were able to see inside the kitchen at a number of staff working flat out. The kitchen appeared very clean. All of us chose different meals from the menu and were equally impressed with the quality and size. What I was particularly impressed by was the fact that the waiting staff quickly and efficiently cleared and cleaned the tables thoroughly. When they had a lull, out came the dustpan and broom - at no time was anyone standing idle. Passing by the cafe about half an hour later, though few people inside, each table was spotlessly waiting for the next customer. There are a few table and chairs outside for customers but due to the heat of the day we preferred eating inside out of the searing heat. I would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a good for money clean establishment whilst in town.

We popped in for a quick lunch.The food was quite nice and served quickly.In my opinion it was a little overpriced but the staff were friendly and there was a nice environment.

Very pleasant girl and man at till, waiting staff looked a little sour. Food was okay, ideal if you have children and don't want anything too fancy. Toasted sandwiches were nice.

Went to howards for our lunch while staying at butlins. We werent disappointed. Very good service, clean and value for money. Would recommend.

We fancied a good coffee, spotted the barista machine through the window and got just what we wanted, a lovely cappuccino. Noticed some amazing scones on display, but resisted. Realising it was nearly lunchtime, decided to try the jacket potatoes and supplemented the fillings on offer with a small bowl of peas, our baby's favourite and added to the order without any hassle.All the food was great. Portions large. Lasagne on the next table gave me food envy. Plenty of space for the baby's high chair. Ordering was efficient. Service was fast. And to top it all the care of one waitress to help an elderly lady with her coat and to the door with her bags, was the sort of service that you can often only dream of.Well done guys!

Stumbled on Howard's while looking for a snack spot. It was quite the treat and we ended up having a proper feast. The menu is wide ranging- from all day breakfast to roasts. The order process was not completely clear, but once we realised that you order at the counter and the food comes to you, it was fine. I had a breakfast special and husband had a cheese and onion toastie and a tea cake. Lots of locals were eating when we arrived - always a good sign. Food was freshly cooked and tasted great.

The device was good and the food is very good too. We had homemade steak and kidney pie it came out with puff pastry and loads of steak and loads of kidney which I love. We go there again.

Howards is good value no frills eating. Sandwiches are freshly made and toasties are good. Tea is good value for a large cup. Always busy, I guess as it is good value food.

After reading reviews on facebook and tripadvisor we were a little cautious about food and service but the food came to us quite quickly and was hot and tasted lovely. Owning a cafe myself Im very picky and critical about others but i would definately visit again and recommend.

First thoughts were that it was busy so usually a good sign. Scrambled eggs on toast, beans and sliced tomatoes (not even cooked!) plus a coffee nearly £8. Can't say I'll be returning as it's a greasy spoon trying to charge high prices that you would expect in a fancy cafe. We walked past other cafes that looked much nicer and were cheaper on reflection.

We stopped off here for brunch before a gig down the road at the theatre. It looked pleasant from the outside, so we popped in as we were hungry. It's one of those canteen-style cafes offering generic fry up-type food; we had to wait at the bar to be served, which took a while.Prices were moderate, and drinks were a little pricy for the size. The food took a while to arrive, possibly because they were waiting on my partner's Full English before bringing my bacon baguette. The bacon was a little fatty and greasy, and the baguette was a little hard to chew. Overall it was fairly average, and while I would not choose to visit the place again I probably would not avoid it either.

Called in for breakfast & was pleasantly surprised......the full English......nicely cooked & presented, nice coffee & great value for money.Don't often treat myself to a cooked breakfast but this is good as any locally.

We wanted somewhere to take my mother who lives in Bognor and she directed us to this lovely restaurant where the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is good. seating is nice and there is space to get around especially if like my mother you need room for a walker or similar. Prices are reasonable here

We've visited here on several occasions when attending Butlins Weekender events, and have always been happy with the food and service.Well situated at the seaward end of town.

We are not from the area but popped in for a late breakfast as we having a walk in the town centre, food is very cheap compared to the larger chains.Staff very polite at till and waiting the tables, I had a cracking view of the kitchen and have to say I was put off by the owner ?? Who was wearing out door coat tried to tell the chefs what to do and then tried to help things along by waiting himself all with his leather jacket on and then handle money at the till! It didn't come across very hygienic if I'm honest. Maybe this was a one off who knows ?

Absolutely vile.Our food came out swimming in so much oil that BP tried to buy it off us!Had to send the food back and asked for replacement, waiting staff were lovely, kitchen gave a angry look and staff at tills were just plain rude, even more when it was sent back a second time and a refund was asked for!Won't ever be returning, such a shame as it looked alright from the outside!

My wife and I have been visiting this restaurant for over 12 months. We have had several items from the menu including the breakfast, jacket potatoes, Danish pastries vanilla latte and various teas. We have always found whatever we have ordered to be very good. The service is excellent and all the staff are most friendly and attentetive. Good location being between the High Street and the seafront, we highly recommend Howards.

Used a lot by the locals especially elderly folk, but had hard job getting owner to understand order ! Our food was okay would go in there again.
