Hotel Chocolat in Worcester

My husband and myself were visiting Worcester yesterday with our dog Maple. We stopped off at Hotel Chocolat to buy some chocolates for husband's birthday and for a hot chocolate. The staff were friendly and welcoming and said that friendly dogs were welcome. They even gave the dog a treat! Thank you for making it a great experience and your staff are a real credit to your business!

Popped in for ice cream. Three staff behind counter, all on their mobile phones. No eye contact or greeting. We were ignored so we left.

I went into the shop today to buy a present. The young woman who served me was very rude, she wasn’t interested in anything other than to get rid of me as soon as possible because she was too busy taking to the other young woman behind the counter. Disgusting.. staff should go the extra mile, I would have purchased a lot more but was infuriated by the treatment that I walked out.

Excellent service very good prices excellent spaced out clean tidy great selection of chocolates very clean tidy store. Ice cream lovely very nice spacious and well maintained as well. Staff was amazing very fast service and the lady was very pleasant. Thank you five stars

Passing through Worcester, stopped off to treat the wife at Hotel Chocolat on the high street. Good selection of treats brought, washed down with a great takeaway hot chocolate - though small and pricey. Friendly helpful service.

I had an issue with a Xmas present and asked a young girl to speak to the manager so the girl went off to get the manager and 5mins later comes back and says she's on her break she said come back later! So I came back an hour later and the manager still wouldn't talk to me and was getting her girls to deal with it! Very unprofessional!

If you like hot chocolate then this is delicious at Hotel Chocolat Ordered chilli dark and a dark. Drinks are ordered at counter and delivered to your table. Come with chocolate cream on or separate to drinks. A little expensive but can get VIP card and save 10% which helps. So creamy and delicious drinks in a spotlessly clean shop

Great hot chocolate! Tried the dark mint which was rich, creamy and with just the right amount of mint. Service was on the slower side, however, I assume this is because it takes time to make it and the presentation is lovely!

very tasty chocolate drink with 70% cocoa with hazelnut flavor. Really tasteful chocolate bites that is perfect for a gift. Very nice place. I strongly recommend it!

Visited yesterday when I suddenly felt poorly in Worcester. I was served a lovely cup of decaf by a lovely young man who gave my husband a complimentary coffee. My husband in his concern for me accidentally knocked his cup over making a mess all over the place. This young man sprung into action, cleared it all up making a light hearted joke and gave my husband another coffee. Outstanding service and a lovely place to relax. Thank you.

I treated myself and a friend to a milkshake today - almost £8 for 2 thin milkshakes... yes the flavour was nice but it was just choc flavoured milk and for the price, not what I expected....

had salted caramel milk shake looked fab and for 3 and ice lolly came to nearly £15 sadly it didn't live up to expectations and all I can say was it was ok, there was so much cream on the top that was all it tasted of. when I eventually managed to taste the salted caramel it was really nice sadly as there was such a small amount of this the shake mainly tasted of an odd cream and coco power flavour and wasn't that nice. I could of got a tastier milk shake for less and got more at McDonalds

I've never been served a "cup" of coffee in a tumbler before, and I will make sure that I won't again. My wife asked for sweetners for hers, and was told " We don't have sweetners , only sugar, we are just a simple cafe". I'd like to call what I was served coffee, but it would be better described as cof... because there was so little coffee added to the milk that I had search to see where the cof.. started and foam finished , because they were the same colour.

Perfect for the chocoholic, there are several flavours of hot chocolate with or without chocolate cream on top, tea and coffee is also served in the cafe as well as little cakes. They mainly sell boxes of chocolates and these come in various flavours, sizes and prices.

Called in here today for a drink of hot chocolate. Was given the choice of strength for the chocolate which was a novel experience, had 70% which was delicious and served by really friendly staff. Had a quick look at the chocolate selection, absolutely gorgeous, will return when I have more time to browse. Well done to staff.

The hot chocolates offered here are delicious and they have a number of percentages available including 100%. The staff are friendingly and helpful.

Popped into pick up a couple of Treats Lovely Shop packed full of tempting and imaginative treats and even a small Cafe Friendly Staff Nice and Clean Airy Shop

Visited with my daughter for a hot chocolate , nice selection of hot drinks and chocolates if you want to buy some . Staff very welcoming and were also giving out free tasters

Stopped for coffee, was a little warm for hot chocolate. We were served A cold cappuccino and very weak Americano ... tasted like instant coffee. The pleasant young waiter declared that he had served the Americano in a takeaway cup as it would have been too hot in the handleless cups that they use ... mmmm if I had wanted a paper cup I would have had a takeaway coffee ...l

Had the hot chocolate and a small cake.The drink i could have downed in one, just luke warm to me.It tasted nice enough but on the whole i didnt find it very comfortable in there and can think of loads of places that appeal more.

Hotel chocolat is now our favourite place for coffee and my wife has the milky chocolate with chocolate cream. The young lady whom makes the coffee knows I like it hot. With choc bits on top. It is heavenly.

By the sound of it luck of the draw? Only been here once and had hot chocolate which was good and warming. Staff very helpful too.

Came across this place whilst visiting the Worcester Victorian Christmas Market, on a freezing cold day, the fact that Hotel Chocolat had jumped on the coffee bar bandwagon tempted us in for-hopefully- warming hot chocolates of a superior quality.
