I originally thought this place was good. Just bought a few items that you can purchase at world market and have been able to for years now. I tried purchasing a coffee and chocolate crepe. I felt like I was inconveniencing the employee just making that simple order from the coffee section. The items were overpriced and I felt like a bother to the few employees that were staffed there. I am all for supporting small businesses but not to the point of feeling like I am bothering them as a customer. Dining in or out of the establishment. I have seen the same or worse prices in Beverly Hills, CA for reference years ago.

10/10 me and my family loved it so much! we spent $120 for a family of 8, everyone got a drink and a food dish! i ordered a ice vanilla chai letter and oh myy it was the best chai ive had. authentic slavic food that tasted so so good that my dad literally was so impressed he said he will be back for more. i included pics of all the food we purchased plus some pics of the cafe. its connected to a market that sells slavic food and drinks. there’s a couple places where you could take insta pics! and the lighting is very good by the garden wall that’s by the white wall. super pretty, my parents got a very nice pic :) definitely recommend this place and will be back to being a couple more friends and family.

There is a more middle aged woman that works there that was awesome. Made a great sandwich. Was kind... The younger girl with brown hair, not.so.much. seemed bothered from the get go as I called, menus are only posted as pics on Google so I asked her what they do have. It was different. She seemed annoyed with my 2 or three questions. I ordered and said I'd be on my way to pick up. Get there, everything seemed fine. Spent 34 bucks, with tip, for a turkey bacon avavodo sandwich, a crepe, and a few candies... she seemed a little nicer in person so I made sure I was nice as everyone feels rushed sometimes... maybw it was just that... when I got home to eat the sandwich I had been um, craving!! There was no bacon. So, I call to make sure It still came with bacon. She simply said "yes" I said okay, but, there is no bacon on here.... she replies with "oh yeah we were out. She did say "my bad" but with a serious attitude. Ya. I was in there! aside from charging the same price, JUST TELL A PERSON if the menu item is not going to made as described. When I went in she could have told me that so when I went home I wasn't expecting the sandwich that I was craving. Her attitude about it is much worse than being out of bacon which would have been totally fine in the first place. There are plenty of other places to get a good sandwich, or good coffee, even with their ambiance, which IS very inviting and cozy; a sort of boho plant loving vibe, but can still be found other places (hello gold cup!) I might try again if the other lady is working but will straight turn around and walk out if this girl is working. The first time, their sandwich was amazing, their salad dressing tastes like yumy homemade dressing...initially, I was so excited to find this little place. But, this is all nothing if you leave feeling like the service is snobby and lacks simple communication. I.e "hey, we are out of bacon for the sandwich, would you still like it? Simple; and no need to be rude. .

Popped in here whilst my car was being looked at by the garage around the corner and very pleasantly surprised. Lovely looking cafe with plants everywhere fells like your in a garden and even got seats outside. Had the Turkish eggs with Haloumi and a flat white. Both excellent and reasonably priced. Tuesday morning at 11am and the place was packed so that was a sure sign !

A lovely little place. Delicious crepes and drinks, charming little shop, attached to a deli. Service was just a little slow at times, but I understand things can get busy for one person to manage. I think they would probably benefit from having another staff member there. Anyways, as long as you're willing and able to have patience and kindness, this place is a fantastic place to visit. I suggest bringing a friend, and maybe some yarn. It's the perfect environment for that.

This is the cutest coffee shop. So warm and welcoming. They have a store/deli attached as well. We got a white mocha and apple cider chai and I have to say each tasted great. We will definitely be visiting here again. So long to the chain coffee shops and their prices, we are now coming here where we can sit and enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff.

everything went from bad to worse. The poor girl was taking care of the whole place alone. I asked for a hot cappuccino and she gave it to me cold, with ice. We ordered a crepe with Nutella and strawberries and it was hard, with almost no Nutella and swimming in a chocolate sauce that is impossible to eat without getting it all over it. Very expensive for coffee and food and it wasn't even delicious

When I tell yall their kotleti are the bEsT...I'm not lying. In fact, I'm incapable of lying completely. My conscience could never 😮💨 Go get yall some piroshki. The coffee never fails. They use the Stumptown roast and it's SOO smooth 😩🙌 the owner is the bestest, greatest, happiest, most personable person I've ever met. The music is pretty bombass, too. The perfect Cafe environment for working "from home". And the way it's set up, too, is extremely clever! Nothing I've ever experienced before. It's a European Deli AND Hosta Coffee shop. Separate from each other but owned by the same person. And it flows SO WELL inside. As much as they are different, the space is inviting of the other from either side. Anywaaays I'm simply rambling now. AND THEIR PASTERIESSS OH MY WORD...so good 😌🤤 Check it outtt!!! Go go gooo...🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

Wanted to have a breakfast, as heard good reviews, aware it is now NOT Hosta, but Sprout, which is well advertised, but on this site, was looking forward to a nice, recommended breakfast....travelled, a blackboard outside saying Closed today. Walked my 83 yr old Mum round a ridiculous long 1 way system, to have to grab a wheelchair to take her back to the car, where found a cracking place called Foxes tearooms. Immediate parking, 10/10 for everyone and everything.... Can't score as Cafe wasn't open, but for god sake, save the hike and put a notice on entry that cafe is closed. When it was Hosta there was a more direct route. ..Disappointed.

I just wanted a cup of coffee to go from this place since I have never had their coffee before. An employee let me in on the coffee shop side (so she saw me) and then disappeared. I waited, wondered how come the lights are off in the coffee shop part, no one came to ask me if I wanted anything and I just left. If your coffee shop is closed - update the info on the g maps. If it’s not - train your employees, but don’t just ignore people.

I prefer to support local businesses rather than large chains but unfortunately I am disappointed in the coffee and breakfast sandwich I ordered from this coffee shop. When I arrived there were only two patrons that were sitting having coffee. I approached the counter and a very young girl asked what I would like. She seemed a little confused especially when I ordered the breakfast sandwich. She then went to find another employee who also appeared very young and also not really sure what the breakfast sandwich was. After paying and leaving a tip I waited and figured it would not take too long considering I was the only person who had ordered at that time. I eventually decided to sit down and wait. The two girls disappeared for a bit then one finally came out with the breakfast sandwich but no coffee so I then had to ask about the coffee and eventually it was made. I am not sure if they are the regular employees but appeared too young to be manning the ship. Once I arrived home (which is only two blocks away) and opened the container I picked up sandwich and it was cold. The bacon was undercooked and the cheese was not melted and croissant was soggy. I then tasted the coffee which tastes burned and was not what I ordered. I understand things happen such as waiting a little longer than normal but unfortunately this was a number of things that were a disappointments!

This little coffee shop is cozy with six small tables up against the right wall as you walk in and one long bench table to the left. It is attatched to Gastranome European Grocery and Deli, which is small but easy to spot from the parking lot, as it has a large sign. Hosta coffee shop has a paper sign on the door only at this point. The barista was friendly, if understaffed, as they serve food as well as coffee, so previous food orders are filled before coffee orders. There are no gluten free food options unless it's a choice, not allergy based. If you can have food, they serve a limited selection of breakfast sandwiches and crepes. The lack of stars is for two reasons. The first reason is the latte. It had plenty of foam and the milk was not too hot but it tasted exactly like drip coffee, which has sat for two hours in the pot, with some warm milk added. The outcome is a weak, bitter, dirty tasting latte. The second reason is the highly religious radio station. Bible versus are discussed and only very Christian music is played. That's all well and good if you only want one segment of the population for a customer base. It is very allienating for the rest of society.

Habíamos estado hablando con una familia junto a nosotros que estaba comiendo la suya, y todos comentaron sobre la encantadora salchicha de Cumberland. Masivo. ! ! . A friend and I visited last night. The food was delicious. All home made. There is a specials board that last night included Sea Bass, Chicken tikka curry, carbonara and another dish. My friend and I had Chicken Tikka and Scampi &chips. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was brilliant. Lovely blonde haired lady served us. She was super friendly and helpful. The food came quickly. There is a lovely outside seating area and there was a very large grassed area just across the car park. We arrived at 6pm and left by 7.30. The bar was busy, but not overcrowded. Dogs are welcome. Bear in mind that the kitchen closes earlier than you think. I don’t think you could order mains after 7pm, but you could get a desert until 8pm when the kitchen shut. If you’re passing it’s definitely worth a visit.
