Went in for a few drinks, staff were very friendly and helpful, could have a laugh with them food and drinks are reasonably priced and the beer was great and they had a great selection and something for the kids to do on site

Came here with my family and wow! Service from start to finish was amazing(so nice to see a happy smiley group of people wanting to look after you) the food was lovely and was served piping hot! I also tried something new and out of my comfort zone as I normally drink Guinness and when I ordered a Guinness I was told that they brew their own beers and their Trailblazer is much nicer! And I can honestly say it is !!! We will definitely be returning!

Regularly visit when I have time spare. Everyone is friendly, the manager is both attentive and diligent, food is always good, and there's a verity of music to suit everyone's tastes.

Lovely surroundings, we had a booth to ourselves near the bar. Ordering was quick and easy. Hubs had the carvery which he really enjoyed. I had Wexford Chicken which came on a hot plate; all the food was hot which is unusual nowadays for some reason. The vegetables were cooked just right. We were there whe England was playing Slovakia so the atmosphere was busy, the staff were very well able to deal efficiently with the queues at the bar. Thoroughly enjoyable visit.

We just left a different pub we decided not to eat at due to atmosphere and overpriced. This place I can honestly say the staff and service was the best and most accommodating I have ever witnessed. The kindness and communication skills was slim to none. The team you could see it's an atmosphere here that is very comforting. The food was beautiful. A couple of suggestions was the gravy was very thin and roasts was very lightly cooked taking away from the feeling of a roast potato. We are meatfree and the chef even took his time to talk to us about the gravy content. My 11 year old daughter spoke of how kind the server was and how it was nice to see the staff paying interest in the customers unlike the other establishment we left which she described " just about the money " Thanking you

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. We are new to the area and have been twice within a few days, once for a meal mid week and again just for drinks on a Saturday evening both occasions were excellent. Quick and polite service and great value, we'll probably be visiting quite often. Visited again on a midweek evening just for a drink, again good pleasant service nice atmosphere.

Excellent food and good all-around service.

The service was the best customer service we have received in a long time. Jake and Nathan had so much time and patience for our endless requests, and were so cheerful throughout our meal. The food was also delicious. We ordered chicken nuggets for the kids meals and they were fresh chicken breast chunks so we were really impressed with the quality of food for a childs meal. Great food and even better staff!

We have had another great group night out at the Clocktower. The staff were as friendly and helpful as ever and are great at dealing with large and small group. The food is lovely too - highly recommend.

Went to the clock tower today and can quite honestly say I'll not be going back there , having been told we have to sit on a table for two in a cold part of the pub near the door where people are back and two ,when the food come out the chips where cold and stewed and beans looked like they'd been left in a pan overnight , so come on clock tower get your act together incourage customers not drive them away

Bad customer service and rude manager. Ordered a Heineken with lemonade top, the girl served it as a bottle with a glass of lemonade, thought nothing of it. About 3/4 of the way through the drink I spotted on the back of the bottle in small letters 'alcohol free'. I asked the manager if I could get an alcoholic drink of the same value as the non-alcoholic beer I had been served, and he said "well you've drunk most of it already now, we can refund you for the lemonade". Why would I want a refund for the lemonade? All I wanted is a beer, is that to much to ask in a pub? It's really not the customers fault if they were served the wrong drink and it wasn't obvious on the bottle that it was non alcoholic, I shouldn't have to study the bottle before accepting a drink just in case the bar staff are incompetent. If you go here just check the percentage of your drink first 🤣 and avoid the manager!

Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. We came here for Mother's Day. It was fairly busy, but the staff handled our food and drinks orders very well. We didn't wait very long for the food to show up, and when it did, it was delicious. Decent value for money too, especially the carvery. Sadly, that's where the good service ended. We decided to order three desserts after finishing our meals. After waiting 25 minutes, we asked for an update on the desserts. We were told by the waiter that they'd be out "in 5-10 minutes". We waited a further 15 minutes, asked for another update, and again, no desserts. No information either. After another 10 minutes, I decided to go to the bar and request a refund. Upon explaining we'd waited almost an hour and that I wanted my money back, the server walked away and said he'd "sort it out". While he was walking away, I doubled down and said I wanted a refund, but he ignored my request and went into the kitchen. Then, only one of the desserts showed up, and it was lukewarm. The other two desserts were entirely absent. We sent the dessert back, and only then did they give us a cash refund. An unfortunately awkward and tedious ending to what started out as a nice evening out together. Some of the staff here need to be more communicative, and if the order had been forgotten about completely, then honest, too.

This was by far the best meal we have have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was delicious. We will definately be making this a regular trip. Warm and friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff. Will highly recommend to anyone.

The food as always was absolutely gorgeous. The staff are SO lovely, they make such a special effort to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable etc. My mum has a guide dog and they even go that extra mile for him, bringing him a bowl and some treats and things. Absolutely amazing place to be

Ive only eaten on a couple of occasions and always found the food excellent. My main reason for a visit is your lovely choice of lagers, especially the gold. I'd also like to give a big thank you to Lisa and Syd who keep a cracking pint with a great atmosphere and a warm welcome, nothing is to much trouble for this couple. But pub manager's would be nothing with a bad team, and in Zoe, Alex, Ryan and Ellie they have the best of the best. They show me how to use my mobile, play great tunes and it's always done with a laugh and a smile. There a credit to Joseph Holt. Thanks Andy.

I came for the festive menu at the beginning of December and for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day and everything was lovely. The food was tasty and incredible, the staff were welcoming and nothing wasn’t too much to ask - such hardworking and lovely people. I would recommend going to the Clocktower to anyone, especially if you’re looking for some good grub and a place to drink with friends.

Told the staff half the kebab wasn't cooked properly and they took the plate and said oh well. Won't be going back to spend money on a meal I had to leave most of. Shame as had nice meals there before!

We booked the Christmas lunch here. Our first and last visit. If I’m honest, I didn’t think the meal was so bad (I had the Bahhumburger so didn’t have the veg) but the others couldn’t eat the sprouts and carrots as they were very hard, and I believe the meals weren’t overly hot. However when we complained to the manageress (I think that was her title), we were told in no uncertain terms that the food is temperature probed before it is served - there were 10 of us so I find that difficult to believe - and basically ‘hard luck’ if the veg wasn’t to our liking. She has a bad attitude and hasn’t done the Clock Tower any favours. Next year we’ll be going to the Woodpecker/Clockhouse.

Came here the other day and it was lovely ! Me and my friend had the steak baguette and it was lovely, steak was tender and so tasty, the staff were amazing and very attentive will definitely be returning

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Clock Tower. I had the Chicken Wrap, and the Salt and Pepper Chips, and they were delicious. I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard for desert, and it was delightful. The staff were really friendly, and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. Five stars for the fantastic combination of great food, and great hospitality!

I had 3 fishcakes as a main( it was a starter) my friend had buttermilk chicken and we shared a dish of chips. Absolutely fabulous! We decided to have 2 puddings and share half each as we couldn't make our minds up. The apple and almond pie; mmmm. The cherry lattice pie; also mmmm. Heaven on earth!

Not a lover of chain pubs but this place has changed my mind. On the 2 occasions we have visited we have felt so relaxed & welcomed by the lovely staff. The food on both occasions has been absolutely delicious . Full of flavour...cooked beautifully & hot. Will definitly return when in the area again. Keep up the good work team.

Went out for family meal.10 people.went to get carvery at 6.15.Children’s meals took a long time.Adults had carvery at 6.15pm.(so we could all eat together) carvery leftovers.End of gammon joint no Turkey,dried up beef.Yorkshire puddings we’re inedible.staff made you feel like you shouldn’t be ther.They didn’t smile ask how your meal was or thanks for coming.Just stood talking between themselves.unwelcoming staff when we last went.Won’t be returning.

Had a super meal for tea on Tuesday afternoon..Lisa was so warm and friendly and very accommodating..we both ordered the steak and ale pie and it was one of the best pub pies we've had in a long time!this lovely looking pub deserves to be much busier...it's very much a hidden gem in northwich that the locals need to discover....your missing a trick folks!..Will definitely be visiting again very soon!..keep up the good work Lisa!

Around 20 of us went for their Diamond buffet and it was delicious, lots of choice and all really tasty. The staff were as always really friendly and helpful and Ryan and Lisa made it easy to organise. There was more food than we could eat and we were given boxes so we could all take some leftovers home. Definitely recommend and we are booked in again.

Called for a carvery looked a nice place on entering bar staff was friendly,ordered 2 carvery’s was about 1230 and people where queuing for carvery so thought everything would be nice and fresh which was not the case Queued for about 10 mins and there was only 3 people in front the carver guy was back and forth the kitchen and talking a lot staff just seemed to be hovering around the kitchen door after finely selecting my carvery there was no gravy all staff had gone the carvery guy had gone for his little walk again even allow there was 10 + people waiting at this point few mins went by then got someone’s attention for more gravy. Finally got back to the table and it was not worth the wait peas like stone roast potatoes like brick all seemed cold gravy was tasteless I didn’t eat it,the server came around asked if everything was ok I told him no and reasons why he apologised and walked off though me might of informed management for the manager to come over but nothing finished our drinks and left with our plates still on the table. £12.50 is cheap for a carvery but there are plenty of places around doing carvery on a Sunday so pay the extra few pound and go somewhere where you will enjoy your Sunday roast

Had a few drinks here Sunday of last week. The staff were friendly and the drinks were fine so there were no issues from us. We didn’t eat whilst here but the Roast dinners looked and smelt very nice!

Does everything just about right

Came here sunday to celebrate with my friends. Tables were clean and food was appropriately priced. The array of food choices was exceptionally good, and they were able to give me a list of allergens for each item. As someone with a severe nut allergy this is important and something that makes or breaks my view of a restaurant. Staff were kind and welcoming, and they checked up on us throughout the meal; not in a way that seemed irritating but in a way that suggested they genuinely cared whether we had a nice dining experience. Special thanks to Nathan who was patient and kind despite us coming in 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and didn't make us feel rushed 😁

Went for the Sunday carvery and was extremely disappointed with the food.The meats were very dry and the vegetables had obviously been out for sometime as they were cold. The parsnips and roast potatoes had been cremated and inedible. Topped off by cold flavourless gravy. Was going to ask them to microwave it for us but no staff around. We had an amazing lunch today thank you so much. We came from Millom in Cumbria just visiting to go to J&S Motorbike Accessories. The staff were sooo lovely we 100% recommend the Clock Tower.
