We visit Honey Bee whenever we can! Staff are lovely and the food is always perfect whether you want a sandwich, traditional full English or one of their Vegan Style. Highly recommend the biscoff milkshake, too :)

Came here a few times as we were camping nearby. Fried breakfasts very nicely cooked and generous. Wide range of food as well as the fried breakfasts such as omelettes, jackets, burgers, baguettes/sandwiches and salads. Had a couple of baguettes too that didn't quite live up to the breakfast standard as were a bit plain, could have done with a bit of salad garnish or fried onions etc. Also cold drinks could do with being served with ice in a glass. But only minor niggles on a great cafe that works hard with helpful and pleasant staff and a great cook. It is closed on Tuesdays.

Popped in for lunch as the Nuffield Health Hospital does not do any food. My husband had a 'gut buster' breakfast, well filled the plate! I had a 'special' omelette and chips, superbly cooked and so tasty. Indulged in a hot chocolate and then for seconds a while hot chocolate, new to me but certainly worth a try. Although its a small place there is a big presence of quality and care in the food and drinks provided, and all at a reasonable cost. Would 100% recommend.

Pretty well prefect bacon sandwich and tea for GBP 6.00. Good ambience, friendly clientele, staff OK but lacking a bit of pizazz but I heard in conversation that the waitress had been called in to fill for absenteeism.

One of our favourite wine bars with some interesting wines very well chosen and delightful company and service. Highly recommended for a lovely place to go for cocktails and more.

Easily my favourite bar ever. JYD is a diamond in the rough. Exuding effortless cool they host stunning music, performance, serve great food and have an amazingly friendly, cosy environment. There is always something amazing happening there, be it art exhibitions, crazy game nights, comedy, music, spoken word and so much more. The staff are knowledgable, helpful and superbly cool. Reminds me of a time before corporate consistency and money ruined all character and charm. The coolest place to meet or chill at any time of day.

This spot was recommended by another cafe! My wife was initially uneasy but reassure by the owner. Fantastic toasted sandwich. Great service, very friendly. Glad we found it.

A great spot for brunch, really tasty vegan options. Big portions and good value for money. It is a LGBTQIA+ safe space but is inclusive for everyone. Really friendly staff, gorgeous cocktails. 10/10. Highly reccomend
