Have been to a few of the Honest Burger resturants across the UK but Bristol is by far the best. Atmosphere was great, food was amazing, tasty, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. This was my adult sons first time at Honest and we will both be back soon. Staff were amazing, Lola and Dylan thank you

Best place for a burger in Bristol! The classic beef with cheese and the 'Honest' are just how (I think) burgers should be; delicious and juicy with no unnecessary frills. Rosemary fries are a nice twist on a classic salt seasoning. Great drink selection; local beers and ciders, the ginger beer is delicious too. My go-to place for a burger! Dylan and staff are very helpful and will ensure you enjoy your experience.

Honestly one of my best experiences I’ve had with restaurants. Shoutout to Dillon for making sure my food is correct and informing me about their products. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting or from Bristol to go there!

Fantastic burgers and chips. The onion rings were phenomenal and the best I’ve ever had! You can make any burger on the menu veggie, which feels great. Staff were nice, we got our food quickly and everything was smooth.

The burgers are tastier and the fries are better than the Honest Burger restaurant in London.

There are a lot of fries, and the hamburger is delicious and not too salty, and it's really good to drink!!! ㄹㅇRecommended

the BEST honest burger i have ever visited. the staff are always so friendly and go above and beyond. the burgers are heavenly and delicious. 10/10 experience mainly bc of Harley and Grace who slayed and gave us incredible service. our onion rings got lost in the kitchen ether and so they made them asap and gave us an extra one for free to say sorry for the wait and i cannot express how wonderful everyone is there. they always make sure you leave having had the best time and take the time to chat to you about anything you need. everything can be gluten free and there are so many vegan/veggie options that are just as delicious.

This used to be my absolute favourite takeaway. I'm talking I'd order once a week. But sadly they've changed their burgers and they have sooo much gristle. I ordered as delivery and couldn't even eat the burger. Such a shame as I do love the brown butter mayo! But unfortunately I won't be ordering from there again.

Met friends here for late lunch/early dinner. The camambert chicken burger was amazing and the chips are lovely. Bit odd though to not have any red wine.

Wonderful food and truly lovely staff! All their burgers and fries are great, definitely one of the best burger places in Bristol. I have gluten intolerance and a nut allergy and I have always found it easy to order and the staff are so helpful. On a few occasions I have received drinks or food on the house and I couldn’t believe it, so so kind. Can’t wait to pop by and order some more food!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I had seen their locations everywhere, but for one reason or another, I never went in. I’m so glad I finally did because it was absolutely worth it! The restaurant offers a great balance between price and quality. I tried two burgers, and both were fantastic. The fries, served with rosemary as a side, were delicious. I went for the Tribute burger, which was excellent, and the crazy Bristol burger, which I highly recommend as well. The drinks come in cans but are served in crystal-clear glasses with ice, which is a nice touch. I also tried the chicken wings—they were perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Decent burger joint, it is what it is but with good food

We ordered a take out via Uber on Saturday 14/12/24. Literally one of the worst burgers we’ve ever had! Nothing like the photos on their website….there’s way better bugger joints in Bristol.

Food was amazing as was the service. Restaurant is decorated amazingly and gave off an amazing atmosphere. Grace and Gwenyth were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Would 100% return here soon the triple smashed is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Bristol.

We recently visited Honest Burger in Bristol. The burger was nice, however the establishment was let down by the staff. Having ordered two pints of cider, one arrived warm. We complained to the staff and asked for a cold one, however the staff member tried to argue that the cider should be served warm, and refused to replace or refund the drink. No one wants a warm pint… even in December!

Ordered on uber eats, I had the Buffalo chicken burger meal and wings. Very tasty however quite expensive

A well-located burger joint with excellent service. We were a large group, and they managed to arrange a table for us. The authentic and delicious smash burger comes with fries. Vegetarian options are also available!

i ordered with uber eats and uber couldn’t find a driver for over 2 hours and when my food got delivered the team and Honest Burger Bristol had left a note saying that they are sorry it took so long and they remade the food. 10/10 service i am very greatful. Thankyou

I have not had this good a burger since the 70's. Had the Tribute. Well seasoned and great tasting beef. The coleslaw and Rosemary chips were excellent accompaniments. Atmosphere was friendly and lively and great local beers. Nice, efficient staff Will definitely visit again next time we are in Bristol.

Been coming to honest for years but shrinkflation has hit and their burgers are literally half the size. According to the server it happened today and none of the staff was told about it..not very "honest". Won't be coming back if I want a happy meal burger I'll go to McDonald's. Service was v good though so this is directed at management.

Me and my partner have always loved the Honest chain and we’ve never had any problems anywhere else. However, coming to the Bristol Honest burgers, I had asked for a children’s menu and been given it at the door. Then the lady proceeded to tell me she couldn’t give me a kids burger because I’m not under 7. I’m on appetite suppressant medication and this was an uncomfortable experience as I had to explain to the manager why I needed a kids meal. This is a ridiculous policy and I felt rather uncomfortable about my experience at Honest and embarrassed for my small appetite. Lovely food but this policy needs to change to save anyone else feeling embarrassed and self conscious like myself

I am already a fan of HB in Cambridge and London, and HAD to try also the Bristol one starting with their special. AMAZING! plus, the venue is lovely. Approved.

Great place to go in whatever the occasion is. Real beef (not minced), and you can choose how the meat is cooked (which is extremely rare to find). The rosemary chips are banging, double fried, and most importantly fresh, not frozen. Good options if you also like to drink whilst eating, local beer (I tried the Honest Drop) and it’s great. Service was spot on, from the moment of we entered till we left, got recommended to try their local burger and couldn’t be better. Definitely will be coming back

Really enjoyed my recent visit to Honest burgers. The food was great, as usual in most honest burgers. The staff were what made the meal! Lola and Layla were excellent front of house and we will be returning!

Location top, centre. Don’t take bookings. Found a table for 4 on a Saturday evening. Service quick and helpful and attentive - never felt abandoned, staff always checking in to see if we needed anything (napkins, drinks, etc.) The burgers are brilliant, chopped meat NOT minced - yes it does make a difference - and had never tried a smashed burger before. The buffalo wings are very good BTW. Salad too. The rosemary chips are excellent. A short menu but excellent with loads of stuff sourced locally. The calorie count is provided for most dishes. Music - soul but upbeat and not too loud to interfer with conversation. The aeration system works well and clothes and hair were fine!

Came well recommended. The staff members were amazing to accommodate (they don't take bookings on weekends) friendly, personal, great rapport. Burgers are spot on, cooked beautifully, amazing balance of flavour (I had the tribute, nice edge to an American classic) Rosemary chips, considering they're fresh, it may just be down the the potato but we're a pretty weak accompaniment to an incredible burger. The batter on the tendies was good, clearly a lot of effort into that creation but unfortunately they left it under the lights and didn't refresh, qué cera. Has a lovely non chain feel to it, everyone seems to enjoy working here and it shows, but not a fan of the stacking all your meals against your chest, a little too informal for me. All in all was generally good experience, but are areas for me personally that could be improved.

Came to Bristol overnight for work and as such was a solo diner. Really welcomed and felt at home in this place. The cheddar burger was top drawer, three different cheeses that you could tell were really mature, burger was medium rare (*they ask if your cool with this) and cooked to perfection! One of the best burgers I've had :)

Very small burgers! The food was good but the size of the burger is ridiculous considering its price. They give you lots of chips to hide how small the burger is. The only good sized dish was the bbq chicken tenders.

Absolutely disgusting service from Honest burgers Bristol. I got sent half a burger that cost £16 with one bun missing and top half i couldnt believe it. I could of also got food poisoning from raw meat from inside the burger after having a bite. Management haven't even had the decency to email me or contact me! Absolutely fuming.

It's just burger and fries but mmm mmm! That is a tasty burger! The fries come coated in thyme and are gorgeous, the burger patties are substantial and has an all around great atmosphere.

Great burgers. Fries and bacon gravy were really nice as well. I had the Smash Burger and their Homemade Lemonade as a drink, the burger was really well made. It had just the right amount of sauce on, and not too much. The fries were good, even though some weren't as crispy, but it was a good combo with the Bacon Gravy. I would give the burger 8/10 and the fries 6/10. Since I can't give 4 and half stars, I am just giving it 5stars

I never leave reviews but this place really deserved it. Great value food, friendly staff and quick service. My wife had the “Bristol” burger and I had chicken burger, both were fantastic. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back in future. Thanks!!!!!!

Very tasty burgers. The restaurant was very busy. The service kindly looked for a free seat for us. We were prepared for a longer wait for the food, but we were pleasantly surprised. All in all perfect.

The double smash with bacon is a classy affair all round. Local high-quality meat, well smashed, well seasoned, tidy little all-rounder at a very reasonable price. Cant fault the chips at all either. Been here a few different times and impressed each time I visit. Best burger I've tried in the South West, from someone that's tried them all.

Visited Bristol for 1 day and night, and ate here for lunch. Possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. Went for a double smash (i think it was) and it was just amazing. Patty was Juicy, but crisp outside, cheese tasted amazing, bun was fresh. Not a gherkin fan, but the bf loves them. My partners burger was also of the same high standard. Really nice guy serving. Watch out for the chips though, they were nearly cold on both meals….. still can’t reduce the stars from 5 though……. That burger! Damn I want it again. Did I say the burger was good? !

I ordered a take away through Uber eats. A gluten free smashed burger with slaw and a side of onion rings. I got the driest burger, the tiniest amount of slaw and three onion rings. There was a discount and it still cost me £16. Frankly after years of loving Honest burger, I was shocked at how bad.

Honest Burger is a must-visit for any burger lover. The food is absolutely phenomenal. We opted for the double smash burger with rosemary fries, and it was a flavor explosion. The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor. The rosemary fries were a delightful accompaniment, adding a touch of savory goodness. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from Esme. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel like valued customers. Honest Burger is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise. With its delicious food and outstanding service, it's no wonder it's a local favorite. We can't wait to return!

We ate at a few places along this stretch of road, each time this spot kept calling my name. We ended up grabbing burgers here and boy was it everything I wanted. One of the better burger spots in town for sure!

The food here is ok, but the reason for a lower score is because of their unexpected 10% "service charge" that is automatically added when the bill is paid. I didn't notice this surcharge indicated on the menu, and if it's there, it's definitely not very obvious - and it wasn't mentioned to me upon ordering. The service I received didn’t even warrant the surcharge.. I ordered, and they delivered a single plate to the table. They didn't return to ask if I wanted anything else or if everything was ok. If management reads this (and I hope they do), well, the best way to annoy your customers and not have them return is to automatically add a surcharge to the bill when it's not expected by the customer. If I choose to tip because of exceptional service, then I will, and it's my choice to do so. But if you really want the extra 10%, then include it in the prices, so there's no surprises. There are plenty of other choices in Bristol and I definitely won't be back because of this policy.

Chips were stale and tepid, onion rings were stone cold and the burger was meant to be served medium (pink) but was well done. This was our first visit, having wanted to try it for a while but we won't be returning

Second visit here now as it is handy for the theatre. Food is delicious and good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere, clean and modern.

Forgive the bite out of the burger! I was so hungry I forgot to take the obligatory perfect foodie photo. The smash burger was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

The burger was delicious (smashburger) and so were the fries. Also, the beer that the waiter recommended was delicious (and he let us try it) :) The attention of the waiters was very good.

Honestly the juiciest burger and most crunchy tasting chicken i have ever had the staff were so friendly and the place was very clean , would rate higher if possible!

The friendly and welcoming team were amazing. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The fact that everything can be made gluten free simply by swapping the burger bun made life super easy and gave confidence to my coeliac wife. The sides and chips are all gluten free. Great food, great team, and massively reduced stress made for a great meal out. Thank you.
