Came in a couple of days ago, quick food that’s super filling, Lola our server was VERY welcoming

Came to Bristol overnight for work and as such was a solo diner. Really welcomed and felt at home in this place. The cheddar burger was top drawer, three different cheeses that you could tell were really mature, burger was medium rare (*they ask if your cool with this) and cooked to perfection! One of the best burgers I've had :)

Very small burgers! The food was good but the size of the burger is ridiculous considering its price. They give you lots of chips to hide how small the burger is. The only good sized dish was the bbq chicken tenders.

Tash was a lovely waiter with such charm, chefs did an amazing job, spoke to the chefs in person Addison was his name and once again lovely atmosphere

Absolutely disgusting service from Honest burgers Bristol. I got sent half a burger that cost £16 with one bun missing and top half i couldnt believe it. I could of also got food poisoning from raw meat from inside the burger after having a bite. Management haven't even had the decency to email me or contact me! Absolutely fuming.

Fabulous food , super attentive staff even though the place was packed . They made a small mistake with our order but it was swiftly sorted and we can’t fault the whole dining experience. Best burger we’ve ever had and the onion rings were super crispy and tasted so unique .

It's just burger and fries but mmm mmm! That is a tasty burger! The fries come coated in thyme and are gorgeous, the burger patties are substantial and has an all around great atmosphere.

As a coeliac, it's been a game changer finding somewhere where everything is gluten free..amazing food, the flavours are incredible! Special thanks to Harley & Grace for being the best and looking after us!

We turn up without a booking. Instead of saying they got no table like another restaurant down the road they asked if a 15 minute wait was OK. Service was excellent 👌🏾 and the food was delicious 😋

Great burgers. Fries and bacon gravy were really nice as well. I had the Smash Burger and their Homemade Lemonade as a drink, the burger was really well made. It had just the right amount of sauce on, and not too much. The fries were good, even though some weren't as crispy, but it was a good combo with the Bacon Gravy. I would give the burger 8/10 and the fries 6/10. Since I can't give 4 and half stars, I am just giving it 5stars

I never leave reviews but this place really deserved it. Great value food, friendly staff and quick service. My wife had the “Bristol” burger and I had chicken burger, both were fantastic. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back in future. Thanks!!!!!!

Great burgers, and great service! Staff was kind and patient while we waited for our last friend to turn up. The fries were extremely good, the burgers were very tasty! Would definitely visit again whenever we're around. Bonus points for being able to pay what you ordered rather than just splitting it.

Really very good sandwiches and lovely staff. The coffee tequila was unbearably sweet but that's probably on me for ordering coffee tequila and expecting it to be dry.

Absolutely perfect. One of the best burgers I've had, for a sensible price. Amazing chips. Ridiculously good gravy and simple, tasty wings. Nice vibe and friendly, efficient service. Very tasty burgers. The restaurant was very busy. The service kindly looked for a free seat for us. We were prepared for a longer wait for the food, but we were pleasantly surprised. All in all perfect.

The double smash with bacon is a classy affair all round. Local high-quality meat, well smashed, well seasoned, tidy little all-rounder at a very reasonable price. Cant fault the chips at all either. Been here a few different times and impressed each time I visit. Best burger I've tried in the South West, from someone that's tried them all.

Amazing burgers, amazing atmosphere and very friendly, helpful stuff! We were blown away with the halloumi burgers, served with rosemary chips. It was great to find out that all their sides are gluten free and all burgers can be served in gluten free buns. Amazing place, highly recommend!!!!

Visited Bristol for 1 day and night, and ate here for lunch. Possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. Went for a double smash (i think it was) and it was just amazing. Patty was Juicy, but crisp outside, cheese tasted amazing, bun was fresh. Not a gherkin fan, but the bf loves them. My partners burger was also of the same high standard. Really nice guy serving. Watch out for the chips though, they were nearly cold on both meals….. still can’t reduce the stars from 5 though……. That burger! Damn I want it again. Did I say the burger was good? !

I ordered a take away through Uber eats. A gluten free smashed burger with slaw and a side of onion rings. I got the driest burger, the tiniest amount of slaw and three onion rings. There was a discount and it still cost me £16. Frankly after years of loving Honest burger, I was shocked at how bad.

We ate at a few places along this stretch of road, each time this spot kept calling my name. We ended up grabbing burgers here and boy was it everything I wanted. One of the better burger spots in town for sure!

Honest Burger is a must-visit for any burger lover. The food is absolutely phenomenal. We opted for the double smash burger with rosemary fries, and it was a flavor explosion. With its delicious food and outstanding service, it's no wonder it's a local favorite. We can't wait to return!

The food here is ok, but the reason for a lower score is because of their unexpected 10% "service charge" that is automatically added when the bill is paid. I didn't notice this surcharge indicated on the menu, and if it's there, it's definitely not very obvious - and it wasn't mentioned to me upon ordering. The service I received didn’t even warrant the surcharge.. I ordered, and they delivered a single plate to the table. They didn't return to ask if I wanted anything else or if everything was ok. If management reads this (and I hope they do), well, the best way to annoy your customers and not have them return is to automatically add a surcharge to the bill when it's not expected by the customer. If I choose to tip because of exceptional service, then I will, and it's my choice to do so. But if you really want the extra 10%, then include it in the prices, so there's no surprises. There are plenty of other choices in Bristol and I definitely won't be back because of this policy.

Chips were stale and tepid, onion rings were stone cold and the burger was meant to be served medium (pink) but was well done. This was our first visit, having wanted to try it for a while but we won't be returning

Second visit here now as it is handy for the theatre. Food is delicious and good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere, clean and modern.

The burger was delicious (smashburger) and so were the fries. Also, the beer that the waiter recommended was delicious (and he let us try it) :) The attention of the waiters was very good.

Forgive the bite out of the burger! I was so hungry I forgot to take the obligatory perfect foodie photo. The smash burger was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Honestly the juiciest burger and most crunchy tasting chicken i have ever had the staff were so friendly and the place was very clean , would rate higher if possible!

The friendly and welcoming team were amazing. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The fact that everything can be made gluten free simply by swapping the burger bun made life super easy and gave confidence to my coeliac wife. The sides and chips are all gluten free. Great food, great team, and massively reduced stress made for a great meal out. Thank you.

Myself and my partner came here for dinner. The burgers were very tasty and the 'meal deal' option with a drink and side was good value. Minor issue with my side but this was sorted straightaway. Thanks to the staff also for helping me look for my parking ticket, which I thought I'd dropped in the restaurant. Thankfully found it a few minutes later on the street!

The food and drinks available all looked amazing, our drinks and burgers all came in record time and the burgers were outstanding, probably the best I've had in the West Midlands to be honest. The service was amazing and the guys that we spoke to (Saturday 22nd June around 5.20pm) were lovely and attentive. Will be back x

All their sides and sauces are gluten free and they just swap the bun! The server asked if I have coeliac disease - great to see how clued up they are :) they also gave my friend a free shot for her birthday :)

I've tried a few of Bristol's "top burger joints" and this was definitely the best so far. Perfectly cooked burger, full of flavour without being overloaded with salt like other places, and the sides were awesome. Only problem is choosing between the crispy battered onion rings (soooo crispy!) or the bacon gravy to dip your chips in. Good portion of fries too, not the current horrible trend of a small portion served in a baked bean tin! I like their ethos, I like their cooking, and price is reasonable.

Was looking for local spot for lunch, and decided to go for honest burgers, I’ve had this place a couple times now and it delivers the vibes each time. Today I ordered double smash burger which comes with fries for £12.50, which is a pretty solid deal middle of the road price, but they do serve a cracking burger imo! Burger was juicy but with crispy edges how a smash burger should be! Layered nicely with I guess their house burger sauce which was sweet, smokey and smooth. With melted cheese it all works with the taste buds with those sweet acidic dill pickles too. The bun is soft but holds its shape and don’t fall apart! Fries are seasoned, crispy and crunchy I quite like those kinda fries so I was happy dipping those into some sauces! Overall this place is a good burger spot, not sure I’ve ever been blown away but certainly never left feeling underwhelmed! It has a bit of everything, smashed pattys, thicker burgers, chicken and also good sides. Today’s rating is a solid 8/10!

So. I received this as a delivery. For 1, the amount of chips were for a child. Looking at these review pictures I expected more. To be fair, the rosemary fries were nice. But then I guess it was all a blessing in disguise as I ended up with food poisoning anyway. Never again

I was so excited to go back to this place. Went a few years ago and thought they were the best vegan burgers ever but was really let down this time. Just nothing special. Also asked for Mustard instead of another sauce and it was dijon not american. Thought american would be the default in a burger place and feel like maybe they could of told me but maybe my fault.

Booking for myself and others for a birthday party was simple. The atmosphere and service was also amazing, food was quick to arrive after ordering while also tasting delicious as always, something that my friends also agreed on!

Food was very good. I would warmly recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately, when paying, the waitress typed £5 more (68 instead of 63) than on the bill and held out the terminal to me without showing the amount.

My co-workers and I ordered from here for our team lunch today. Our food was cold, the burgers were burnt and dry. I rosemary fries were soggy and cold. The only good thing was the ranch mayo sauce. I have no desire to ever eat here ever again. Much better places to choose from.

Great service and the food is so delicious and filling. The food is of good quality and good size. Definitely recommend and would come back again. You will be looking to spend around £10-20 per person.

Would have been five stars because the burgers are amazing, I can't believe I haven't been before. We felt a bit let down on the service side. Friendly on entry, but no one checked to see if our meal was okay - a side of what should have been 4 of the fried chicken was actually 3 + a tiny nugget hidden underneath. I don't undertstand how it even left the kitchen and this wasn't rectified when later mentioned.

We had a lovely welcoming when visiting Honest Burgers. Katie was extremely helpful when we had question about the menu! The food was delicious. And got moved onto better seating when available! Try out the beyond vegan burger! Definitely coming back.

Great little restaurant. Limited selection of beef and chicken burgers which makes service very quick. Not the largest of burgers I have seen but large chips or salad available with the meal. Good non main line beers available which are good. Worth trying

One of the best burgers I've ever had, I had the Spicy and it was really spicy with a great taste and very good fries.

This was the first occasion that we have visited Honest Burgers but we shall certainly be visiting again. The food was absolutely delicious and there is also a selection of local ales and cider too. We visited at around 12.15 on a Wednesday lunchtime and just after that the restaurant was starting to become pleasantly busy.

What an absolute gem! I've never heard of this place but I'll definitely be telling people about it. Even the delivery drivers were constantly at the door all night long. The staff were amazing. Very enthusiastic and super friendly. Food was out of this world! Definitely visit!

I ordered some burgers with friends on Uber eats and I was really unimpressed with the quality of everything. For one, it came almost an hour late. The burgers were great but everything else was quite poor. They hadn't packed the dips correctly so they had spilled into the takeaway bag. The wings were tiny, they looked like they'd come from baby chicks, terrible for £8 extra. I wouldn't order it again and I don't think I'll be going into the store either. I paid £24 for my meal and I think I'd have had a better meal going to the local kebab shop.

Excellent choice of burgers and drinks, efficient service and helpful, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Can recommend as a place to go for a pre gig/concert/show at Bristol Beacon a five minute walk away.
