What a lovely couple of hours learning about Gin and of course drinking it, in the very capable hands of Pratika. She was very personable, knowledgeable and brought a nice level of humour into the Gin Masterclass. The whole experience was great with some nice gins (barring the Beefeater lol} and decent good after. Recommend going especially if you get Pratika.

Beer and whisky tastings with Pratika was a great host. Amazing whiskeys and lovely home brewed beers. Very informative and great meal afterwards as well😁

Great Gin experience courtesy of the excellent Pratika - we really enjoyed ourselves and the selection was great! Good food afterwards also, though we needed better differentiation on what was GF on the Academy menu.

Visited today for the Gin Masterclass, hosted by Pratika. I can highly recommend this gin tasting, excellent selection of gins to try, lots of interesting information on the history of gin and Pratika went above and beyond with her hosting, nothing was too much trouble.

We did the whiskey and beer pairing experience. Pratika was a brilliant host and the drinks pairing was really interesting. A great stag activity. Thanks all at Brewhouse and Kitchen Bristol.

Had a medium-rare ribeye and it was absolutely faultless. Chips were perfectly cooked as well. 10/10

Came for a great Sunday lunch and a few drinks. Great selection of beers, tasters offered by very friendly staff. Would definitely return, really good atmosphere.

Did the whiskey and beer pairing the other night, Tom was brilliant and very knowledgeable, really goes into detail about the creation and ideas behind the products, food after was brilliant, portion of fries with the burger was a little small but other than that it was perfect, slaw on chicken burger was top tier, thanks all!

My wife and I met a couple of friends for some food and drinks on the terrace opposite the pub. My wifes chicken schnitzel and my BBQ chicken wrap were perfectly cooked, and very tasty. The choice of craft ales and lagers was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our few hours in the sunshine. Would definitely recommend a visit, particulalry on a sunny afternoon :-)

Came the other day just for some chips and a drink, was served by Dasha who was very friendly and gave us some tasters of the various beverages on offer. They were delicious! Ended up going for the tropical IPA which I'd thoroughly recommend to all reading. The food was banging credits to the chefs! Will be returning, great service and good food 9.87/10

Excellent restaurant located in a very pleasant pedestrian crossing. Warm and smiling welcome, large and well decorated restaurant room. Super clean toilets. Superb beers to accompany a good meal. I recommend

My brother in-law and I did the beer making experience with Tom (head brewer). Whilst it wasn't cheap I can honestly say it was a brilliant experience and definitely great fun. Tom was really good, explaining the whole process, often in intricate detail whilst still throwing in plenty of humourous banter too. We definitely had some really interesting conversation throughout the day. I chose the cheeseburger for lunch, that was really tasty, especially with a splash of their own BBQ sauce on the side for dipping my fries. It was a really hard choice deciding which beer to take home. Really looking forward to going back to hopefully get a pint of the batch of Yankee Cabot that we made too. Well worth doing.

The service is pretty bad. I don’t blame the servers or staff, I would blame management. Customer service is so important, but everyone just looks frustrated and like they don’t want to be there. There are no smiles or joy from the staff and as a regular customer I feel like they don’t care at all. No-ones goes out of their way to help the customer and the bad energy comes across loud. Again, management needs to take the responsibility of this, don’t just blame the staff. I appreciate you don’t want bad reviews but I’m not just saying this to be negative. It needs to be said and I wish changes are made. I used to be a bar manager so I know the difference. Also, it’s a bit overpriced, particularly surprising for a chain. The food portions are tiny and the drinks are too expensive! I wish you well.

Great place to have a pint after a long day of work! The foods here are excellent as well as the K&G burger was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was soft and succulent. The BBQ chicken wings were spot on. However, I do wish the portion of the burger goes up a bit as the patties and the buns were quite small. The legend crafted lager was a beauty as it was refreshing and tasty.

My wife and I went to a Gin Tasting Masterclass and had a brilliant time. Our host, Pratika, was very friendly, knew a lot about gin and made the whole experience great fun! We tasted 5 different gins, which were all delicious. Then we had a double of the one we liked best, followed by a delicious meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

We were bought a voucher for our birthdays. Jamie hosted our masterclass and all we would say is watch out Bristol he knows his stuff, is a huge asset to the hospitality sector as well as knowing his beers 🍻 Noie big shout out thankyou fir the spent bread sticks that you prepared at our request they were truly amazing and a perfect compliment to our beer.

We visited for a beer tasting experience and it was excellent, well presented by Marcus who was the font of all knowledge. Next time we will be back for food and beers.

We booked the room upstairs for which was perfect for our needs. Marcus and his team looked after us very well. We come in regularly so will be back. But definitely recommend ‘The Library’ for a private event. Thank you.

I hired the function room for a Birthday Party and the staff could not have been better! The food was delicious as well and it was a really enjoyable evening. I'd definitely use them again!

Fathers day gift. Gin tasting and meal. Lovely few hours spent in the company of Pratika. So engaging and knowledgeable about my favourite spirit. We tasted 5 gins across 90 mins. With a range of mixers and Pratikas masterclass. Oh and by the way the roast chicken was absolutely banging

Hello just wanted to give some feedback on the lunch I had today at your establishment. I had the chicken caesar salad. The egg had undercooked white and overcooked yolk somehow. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The salad underneath wasn’t mixed at all and was heavily overdressed. The service wqs very good - Ella & Jacob did an amazing job looking after us. There was also some sort of brewing event happening that was very entertaining. Overall a disappointment - I hope this improves the experience for future customers but needless to say I shant be returning.

We had been given the gin experience as a gift and had a thoroughly enjoyable time learning about the history of gin and tasting a number led by Pratika. Unfortunately the experience introduced my wife to Mermaid Gin and doubly unfortunately Tesco had it in stock!

We went there as a present. Had the beer tasting and burger. Great food and the young girl called Poppy was brilliant. Very attentive and pleasant. Will definitely go back

Dropped in around 5pm for a glass of Gavi di Gavi - staff were welcoming to me and my dog, service very quick, nice atmosphere.

The Lady who served us (table 10 8th June evening) was amazing a complete credit to your team. Nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink was average but it was definitely the waitress that made our visit.

I came in here with my university amigos for the Wednesday pub quiz. We were after a chill boozy evening and were not disappointed. The quiz was fun and engaging, with some novel tasty pints (see figure 1). The highlight of our night was the paper airplane competition! The staff were very friendly and happy to give us drink recommendations. However, the only qualm we have is the price of the crisps- £1.50 is a little bit steel!!! In spite of this, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a warm welcoming pub.

Fantastic pub in a prime location with a great range of beers (IPAs in particular) to choose from. Awesome service from Luca who recommended one of the takeaway mini kegs they also offer - will definitely be back soon.

Lively pub with great music - a must go to spot during the cotham street party. Luca was an absolute gent and looked after us throughout.

Came here for the Cotham street party where i got a beef brisket sandwich and a pimms. The sandwich was sloppy and not cooked well with a bad "slaw". The pimna cost £8! And tasted more of soda water than anything else. Very disappointing

It was an amazing sunny today and I wanted to treat myself to something light and refreshing, so I bought a Caesar Salad and it was amazing! Creds to head chef, for putting your heart and soul into it. Cheers

Bought the beer masterclass as a gift for hubby, We had a fun 2 hours sampling 8 different beers and learning all the different brewing techniques. Marcus was a great host, funny, informative and genuinely intrested in his craft. Definitely recommended.

I booked the Brewhouse and Kitchen in Bristol private function area for my husbands 30th Birthday. I cant recommend this this venue enough, the staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The beer and gin tasting was a great addition, informative and fun for our guests. We just had such an amazing time here, the venue looked great and the staff were AMAZING!!

Beer and whisky pairing was so much better than expected. Marcus was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable fun and enthusiastic.

The Chouffe was a bit expensive (7 pound something I believe) but Jacob poured a great pint! Really cool looking pub, cool brewery equipment

Attended with my son who had bought a Beer tasting as a Christmas gift. Our host, Marcus, took us on an extensive tour of different Beer types, giving us knowledge and amusing anecdotes along the way. His mastery of the subject was impressive and we had a lot of fun, which seemed to increase as the samples flowed - who would have guessed! We didn't like all of the beers but it was interesting to see who liked the different ones most. Great entertainment, and a good time was had by all!

Nice place. Quite loud though for 3.30 in the afternoon due to a large group. The lady serving us was fantastic Lots of items unavailable from the menu and chicken in the burgers was very overcooked.

Followed the beer tasing with delicious cheese burgers, bit like a Big Mac but more cheesy. Fab that they make a selection of the beers on site. We enjoyed a gin tasting experience at the Brewhouse which included food it was great, we were told all about the history and distillation of gin by our host Ella and we tried five different gin’s with and without various tonics.

The food was delicious, but even better was the fantastic service by Laura, my server. I used to have a business doing Customer Service training, and I have to say that Laura would easily earn the very best rating possible. It was a wonderful experience for me, thanks to her, and I will definitely go back.

Asked for a mother's day Sunday lunch here for 13 people. The staff helped set up over email and were helpful. The waiting and bar staff on the day were extremely friendly and attentive. The Sunday roast was great tasting and good value. Really impressed that the under 6 kids get a free mini roast. Great beers to try out too. Will be going back. Great experience

This is my 3rd year for Mothers Day special, and I'm sad to say I won't be back. Me and my mother in law chose Roast Pork amd cracking but I was surprised when it arrived and had no crackling. I carried on with the meal, which, by the way, is delicious and after eating one slice of 'pork was shocked to discover it was gammon (which wasn't even an option for the roast meat). We called over the server and she said 'sorry, that's my fault. I didn't realise they'd ran out of pork when I took your order.' We were then offered a SLICE of a different meat. 15 minutes later when I had practically finished the roast she came over and asked if the meat had arrived. I told her it hadn't and not to bother now as we'd almost finished. Upon paying she didn't add the 10% service charge which I would have refused to pay anyway. I really can't comprehend why they thought to put gammon as a pork alternative on someone's plate instead if coming over to explain they'd ran put of pork and would we like the beef or chicken (or gammon!) instead. Luckily no-one had any allergies to gammon! Sorry to say we won't be back.

Attended a Gin Masterclass that I had bought for my friends birthday , Ella the " Gin Master" was extremely informative and gave some great information on our favourite tipple x The history she was able to share was great and we enjoyed trying various ranges of Gin. At the end of the experience we enjoyed a double Gin of our choice accompanied by delicious Fish and Chips . Great value for money and would definitely recommend this experience

My friend bought me a gin experience for my birthday. I had a truly fabulous. The host Ella, was extremely good and very informative. She taught us a lot about the history of gin and the differences in the ranges of gins. The experience was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful time at the Special Seasonal Beer Masterclass last night. Tom, our host and his apprentice Walt were very knowledgeable, fun and we learned loads. I’d recommend the experience to everyone.The beer was great of course!

Fabulous gin tasting experience here! Our host Ella was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about gin. Very cool to learn how gin is made and the difference between a London dry gin and an Old Toms gin as well as the history of pink gin. As a history buff I was really interested to learn about the gin act which put a stop to home made gin in the 1700s. Would highly recommend this experience for any gin lovers! Had food after which was also fab, generous portions and arrive quickly! 10 out of 10!
