Absolutely fantastic rum tasting experience at the Brewhouse and Kitchen. Would highly recommend this to anyone. The staff here (in particular Dan our host) were absolutely superb, very attentive and knowledgeable about the subject.

Very enjoyable and tasty roast dinner, portions good size and great that full children's menu all available. Vilte our waitress helpful and attentive.

We were there for gin tasting. Jamie was excellent - very knowledgeable and interesting. But we were in the main pub area which was excessively noisy, made worse by having sports on the TV. Only do the gin tasting if you can be guaranteed a separate room.

Drinks seemed fairly expensive and my food was a bit disappointing. The foccacia was clearly not foccacia and there was supposed to be rocket with my food…

Had a wonderful experience. The sever, Chelsea, made great recommendations and I enjoyed my meal. I would highly recommend stopping in for the black cherry kraken rum and cola.

Chelsea was amazing! Attentive, charming and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by her. We will definitely come again.

Good beer although it’s expensive. Basic food like burger are pretty good. Made the mistake of ordering a pie. Was not good and cost £16. They forgot the crispy onions and when I told them I got a sorry and that was it. Not impressed for £16.

I arranged for a large work party and reserved a table for 16 people. 17 turned up in the end! The pre arrangement communications were really easy with Sarah and quick. On the actual evening, the table was ready when we arrived well in advance and were able to enjoy a few beers as the rest of the large group arrived bit by bit. The beer selection was awesome, and even the 0.5% stuff was great (I was driving). The food all looked delicious and mine was personally was top quality. Also the service was spot on. So overall a big thanks to all the team at the Bristol branch, great job. In summary, this joint is highly recommended. I will be back.

What a great day we had! Tom was so informative, beer was delicious!

The staff were really friendly and very polite. They were helpful in dealing with a big group as there were 18 of us and had excellent knowledge of the menu and drink choice. We mostly opted for the Sunday roasts which were absolutely fantastic with great sized portions.

I dropped in with my daughter early one evening and we both chose burgers. The staff who were all young, were absolutely delightful, very helpful and the service we received was brilliant. I have a shellfish allergy and someone came to check that I wasn’t also allergic to squid because the fryer is used to deep fry everything. I was extremely impressed that such care and attention to detail was given, I have been to many other restaurants and had less interest shown, despite always saying I have an allergy. My daughter loved her burger, mine was slightly overcooked but we’d go back again because we really appreciated everything else about this place.

First time visiting as a family group of 7, staff couldn't do enough to help and explain what was on offer. We had some beer paddles and food and will be back for a brewing experience!

A late Christmas dinner for our badminton club! All went well and the leader who looked after us and his team were very supportive, professional and attentive. Well done!

I dined yesterday to celebrate my partner's birthday. While the service was excellent—special thanks to the gentleman and lady who attended to us (apologies, I didn’t catch their names)—I felt the meals were overpriced for what you get. I ordered pie and chips, but that’s all that came—no peas, no beans, and the portion size was underwhelming. For over £16, I expected more, especially since similar places offer more generous portions and additional options.

A Christmas Day meal which was served by ver helpful and well mannered staff. The food tasty, hot and well proportioned. Recommended for couples and family get togethers.

Had our staff xmas meal and a number of my colleagues said that in terms of quality, it was one of the best meals they've had in terms of xmas outings. Very catering with our loudness and letting us do our secret santa etc.

Disappointed, I took the family for a Christmas lunch and asked for a highchair when booking . However , we were put on a high table so the high chair was under table . When we asked for a small plate for the toddler we were given what looked like a dog bowl . They never had and children’s cutlery or dishes. The sprouts and stuffing balls were rock hard. The staff were very good checking for allergies before and cooked a separate meal on day . I have been before many times and had a lovely time , so was very upset on this occasion

We booked the upstairs meeting room at the Bristol Brewhouse and Kitchen for our Association's AGM. (Just to note, there are stairs.) The Manager was endlessly helpful, and adaptive to any changes in our needs. When we arrived, the room had already been laid out in the right way for this kind of meeting. They took care of everything, so we could concentrate on the business in hand. I was very happy with the service we received and would recommend this venue for anyone who needs a space to meet in.

Prices are slightly on the cheeky side for what you get. 3.5/5

We arrived a little early and after half an hour past the allotted time we had to ask what was happening and then escorted to the table for the tasting event.

Staff were friendly and efficient, lots of options on menu and the food was delicious! Only a shame that the music was so loud that people had to shout to hear each other which ruined the otherwise lovely atmosphere. Music level felt unnecessarily loud for a Saturday pub lunchtime.

Wow been coming here for most my life, when came home on leave and want a great. Ight out with amazing local brewed beers and ciders, just had my 40th year suvivered and all I can say they pulled all the stops out all the staff are legends.!!!

We visited the B&K for a Gin Tasting with Marcus and it was absolutely excellent. Very fun and very informative. 5* fun for a family night out. Great atmosphere in the pub and good food. Will be back for the Rum tasting!

Purchased a gin tasting for SIL last Christmas as a pressie. Visited earlier today, extremely impressed with the gift. We were guided by Marcus whose gin enthusiasm was infectious. Learnt loads about gin & tasted so e greats gins too. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our gin tasting experience hosted by the lovely and very knowledgeable Pratika. It was a gift from our son and such a perfect idea for a birthday or special occasion. A great selection of gins and expert guidance on pairings and garnishes followed by a large G&T of our choice. For us (as slightly more mature customers 🤣) the venue seemed rather noisy and Pratika really had to try hard to make herself heard over the Autumn rugby Internationals on the TV in the bar area - but she did well! A quieter space away from the main bar area would probably be more conducive on a busy Saturday afternoon - not that we minded the rugby and indeed enjoyed watching the match with our large G&T at the end of the session. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon - thank you.

Had a great gin tasting experience. Our host Pratika was amazing, very lovely and knowledgable! Would defo recommend to anyone that likes gin. Negative- the experience said it comes with snacks but we only got one portion of nuts each, we wanted some olives!

Me and my partner attended the Beer masterclass with their apprentice brewer, Walter. A really enjoyable experiance getting to taste 8 beers and learn a lot about the history and brewing process of each beer. Walter was incredibly knowledgeable about the long history of beer brewing and was able to comprehensively explain the more scientific elements of the brewing process in an understandable and concise way.

My wife and I met a couple of friends for some food and drinks on the terrace opposite the pub. My wifes chicken schnitzel and my BBQ chicken wrap were perfectly cooked, and very tasty. The choice of craft ales and lagers was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our few hours in the sunshine. Would definitely recommend a visit, particulalry on a sunny afternoon :-)

Great evening, booked a table which I would suggest is a must at the weekend. All the bar and waiting staff super friendly and helpful. Huge range of beers to choose from. I had a burger and loaded fries- beware they were spicy 🌶️ but delicious. It was noisy but that was part of the atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Pratika was a brilliant and personable host for the whiskey and beer tasting!

Was walking around the area on Sunday looking for somewhere to eat and decided to stop here. Was reasonably clean, staff were friendly and they allowed dogs (this was the main reason we stopped here) my wife and I both had the 3 meat Sunday roast, whilst I had a diet coke and my wife had a sparkling water. Diet coke tasted mainly of gas and was not fizzy. The veg and potatoes were nice. The chicken and beef were OK but the pork was all fat and I didn't eat it. However, there was just too much gravy. Would be nice to be served the gravy separately so we can use what we want.

Customer service is 10/10. Such a lovely warm welcome and perfectly attentive at every moment. A rarity. Keep it up! In house brewery with perfect selection of great beers. The 0.5% beer on tap is amazing! Thank you

Our gin tasting experience was brilliant mainly due to Pratika. She made the experience very enjoyable, fun and interesting. I would definitely recommend this experience to friends because of her.

I had the Topside of beef Sunday Roast. Meat was chewy, hadn’t been rested. The rest was pretty good. Thing is, it’s a roast, if you can’t get the main event right, what’s the point. I was first in at midday, some tables were dirty. I’ll not bother again (for a roast).

Loved the food, beer and helpful staff, but the loud piped music was constant, causing people to have to shout to be heard by the friends they were eating with.

Had an event upstairs in the library. Went really well and trips to the bar were always speedy. Plenty of space to get served.

What a lovely couple of hours learning about Gin and of course drinking it, in the very capable hands of Pratika. She was very personable, knowledgeable and brought a nice level of humour into the Gin Masterclass. The whole experience was great with some nice gins (barring the Beefeater lol} and decent good after. Recommend going especially if you get Pratika.

Visited today for the Gin Masterclass, hosted by Pratika. I can highly recommend this gin tasting, excellent selection of gins to try, lots of interesting information on the history of gin and Pratika went above and beyond with her hosting, nothing was too much trouble.

Great Gin experience courtesy of the excellent Pratika - we really enjoyed ourselves and the selection was great! Good food afterwards also, though we needed better differentiation on what was GF on the Academy menu.

Came the other day just for some chips and a drink, was served by Dasha who was very friendly and gave us some tasters of the various beverages on offer. They were delicious! Ended up going for the tropical IPA which I'd thoroughly recommend to all reading. The food was banging credits to the chefs! Will be returning, great service and good food 9.87/10

Excellent restaurant located in a very pleasant pedestrian crossing. Warm and smiling welcome, large and well decorated restaurant room. Super clean toilets. Superb beers to accompany a good meal. I recommend

My brother in-law and I did the beer making experience with Tom (head brewer). Whilst it wasn't cheap I can honestly say it was a brilliant experience and definitely great fun. Tom was really good, explaining the whole process, often in intricate detail whilst still throwing in plenty of humourous banter too. We definitely had some really interesting conversation throughout the day. I chose the cheeseburger for lunch, that was really tasty, especially with a splash of their own BBQ sauce on the side for dipping my fries. It was a really hard choice deciding which beer to take home. Really looking forward to going back to hopefully get a pint of the batch of Yankee Cabot that we made too. Well worth doing.

The service is pretty bad. I don’t blame the servers or staff, I would blame management. Customer service is so important, but everyone just looks frustrated and like they don’t want to be there. There are no smiles or joy from the staff and as a regular customer I feel like they don’t care at all. No-ones goes out of their way to help the customer and the bad energy comes across loud. Again, management needs to take the responsibility of this, don’t just blame the staff. I appreciate you don’t want bad reviews but I’m not just saying this to be negative. It needs to be said and I wish changes are made. I used to be a bar manager so I know the difference. Also, it’s a bit overpriced, particularly surprising for a chain. The food portions are tiny and the drinks are too expensive! I wish you well.

Great place to have a pint after a long day of work! The foods here are excellent as well as the K&G burger was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was soft and succulent. The BBQ chicken wings were spot on. However, I do wish the portion of the burger goes up a bit as the patties and the buns were quite small. The legend crafted lager was a beauty as it was refreshing and tasty.

My wife and I went to a Gin Tasting Masterclass and had a brilliant time. Our host, Pratika, was very friendly, knew a lot about gin and made the whole experience great fun! We tasted 5 different gins, which were all delicious. Then we had a double of the one we liked best, followed by a delicious meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

We were bought a voucher for our birthdays. Jamie hosted our masterclass and all we would say is watch out Bristol he knows his stuff, is a huge asset to the hospitality sector as well as knowing his beers 🍻 Noie big shout out thankyou fir the spent bread sticks that you prepared at our request they were truly amazing and a perfect compliment to our beer.

We visited for a beer tasting experience and it was excellent, well presented by Marcus who was the font of all knowledge. Next time we will be back for food and beers.

We booked the room upstairs for which was perfect for our needs. Marcus and his team looked after us very well. We come in regularly so will be back. But definitely recommend ‘The Library’ for a private event. Thank you.

Fathers day gift. Gin tasting and meal. Lovely few hours spent in the company of Pratika. So engaging and knowledgeable about my favourite spirit. We tasted 5 gins across 90 mins. With a range of mixers and Pratikas masterclass. Oh and by the way the roast chicken was absolutely banging

Hello just wanted to give some feedback on the lunch I had today at your establishment. I had the chicken caesar salad. The egg had undercooked white and overcooked yolk somehow. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The salad underneath wasn’t mixed at all and was heavily overdressed. The service wqs very good - Ella & Jacob did an amazing job looking after us. There was also some sort of brewing event happening that was very entertaining. Overall a disappointment - I hope this improves the experience for future customers but needless to say I shant be returning.

We had been given the gin experience as a gift and had a thoroughly enjoyable time learning about the history of gin and tasting a number led by Pratika. Unfortunately the experience introduced my wife to Mermaid Gin and doubly unfortunately Tesco had it in stock!

We went there as a present. Had the beer tasting and burger. Great food and the young girl called Poppy was brilliant. Very attentive and pleasant. Will definitely go back

Dropped in around 5pm for a glass of Gavi di Gavi - staff were welcoming to me and my dog, service very quick, nice atmosphere.

The Lady who served us (table 10 8th June evening) was amazing a complete credit to your team. Nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink was average but it was definitely the waitress that made our visit.

I came in here with my university amigos for the Wednesday pub quiz. We were after a chill boozy evening and were not disappointed. The quiz was fun and engaging, with some novel tasty pints (see figure 1). The highlight of our night was the paper airplane competition! The staff were very friendly and happy to give us drink recommendations. However, the only qualm we have is the price of the crisps- £1.50 is a little bit steel!!! In spite of this, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a warm welcoming pub.

Fantastic pub in a prime location with a great range of beers (IPAs in particular) to choose from. Awesome service from Luca who recommended one of the takeaway mini kegs they also offer - will definitely be back soon.

Lively pub with great music - a must go to spot during the cotham street party. Luca was an absolute gent and looked after us throughout.

Came here for the Cotham street party where i got a beef brisket sandwich and a pimms. The sandwich was sloppy and not cooked well with a bad "slaw". The pimna cost £8! And tasted more of soda water than anything else. Very disappointing
