Holy Cow in Scarborough

My son had crepes with ice cream, Nutella and bueno pieces and said it was delicious. Was £7.50 for a pancake but plenty was on it. They also do waffles and various other desserts. This is a stall so nowhere to sit in but benches near to sit and watch the sea.

What an amazing place,lots of choice to choose from absolutely spoilt for choice. We visited one Saturday afternoon so was very busy but the staff were working hard. There were lots of toppings and sauces to cater for the whole family. Be prepared to wait a little while if busy but definitely worth the wait

If you need to have an ice cream this is the place to go! To many choose from but when you do decide it’s LOVELY! You attendant was very polite and friendly!

I was really looking forward to trying this place. The queue suggested that they must be good ! Whilst waiting I noticed the staff wore gloves, excellent I thought. Sadly their wires must be crossed because although wearing gloves they served and handled the cornets and took the money with those same gloves. If people stopped and thought about the germs in money they wouldn't buy from this place. Some basic training is needed.

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of ice creams. But this is without a doubt my favourite. I was spoilt for choice.I had wild cherry, peach and lemon curd. My hubby had pecan, toffee and salted caramel.Not only was the ice cream amazing and cheaper than all our previous ones. But the girl who served us was so happy and upbeat.

Always served with a smile, a really unique and contemporary little ice cream parlor, small but huge on choice and value! try it well worth a visit.

Always have excellent ice cream and so many flavours. My mum and myself absolutely adore it and is always our go to ice cream place in the whole of Scarborough. The price is very reasonable and your given a very generous amount. The lady on the counter is wonderful, kind and always smiling- great customer service so I would highly recommend!

Had ice cream and waffles from here and they are fantastic, best quality ice cream and ingredients at a very reasonable price, the ladies on the counter are always smiling and friendly. I have tried just about every ice cream parlor on the front and these outshine the rest by far. Would highly recommend you wont be disappointed

You must must have an ice cream from holy cow if your visiting Scarborough! We were pigs and had mega moo each! They are delightful! So good in fact, we went back and had another one the day after ha ha ha! The diet starts Monday!

Good service, great choice of ice cream at a reasonable price. The soft scoop from the machine was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband and kids. I would highly recommend this place.

The best place to grab Ice-cream in Scarborough! Visited this place twice in the four days we stayed in Scarborough after reading rave reviews online, and we were not disappointed, everything about this place is fantastic. The ice cream is the tastiest I’ve tried, with plenty of choice on offer, the ladies behind the counter are very friendly and always look happy, and it’s fab value. Would genuinely recommend you try this place, it gets busy at times, but it’s worth the wait. Try the Banana & Mango flavour - it’s to die for!! Will definitely visit Holy Cow again.

When you walk around the Scarborough you can find a lot ice cream booth, but one that is must have, is for sure Holly Cow. Despite their small size they have a variety of flavours to choose and it does not only apply to ice cream but to wafers as well. After pleasant chat with the service I decided to have their special "big bull" and I must say that it was really enormous, the name really speaks for itself. Surprisingly to myself I managed to eat everything thanks to balanced flavour of it. I recommend this place to every ice cream lover!!!!

Amongst the hustle and bustle of the South Beach and the multitude of ice cream vendors is the Holy Cow.Superb ice cream and very friendly and happy staff. Lots of options from single scoop cones up to a £6.50 massive 6 scoop multi flake dessert. The real prize here are the Vegan options. When asked what Vegan options do you have at most places along the front at Scarborough most have no idea what you are asking, but here they have a whole vegan menu. There are many ice cream vendors on the south beach but I would definitely recommend this one.

The lady who was serving us was excellent, really polite and happy from start to finish, also really patient when we couldn’t decide on flavours as there’s too much choice!!!!

Day out in sunny Scarborough. Bit chilly but neither the less an ice cream is a must.

A cold September Saturday night in Scarborough and my partner fancies an ice cream, walking up the counter we were greeted with a wonderful cheerful lady who helped us with our choices. The ice cream was really tasty the choices were amazing .

Beautiful ice cream served by beautiful staff from beautifully clean premies. Top notch, Lee Dorsey would have love this place!

5 star hygiene rating. Staff are very pleasant and even offered to let us taste one of the ice creams if we wasn’t sure. Lots of different flavours and have been here each day while on our holiday. Would highly recommend and will always visit this one when I come to Scarborough again.

Came here quite often for our ice cream whilst we were on holiday. Myself and my husband had a ferrero roche & beuno sundae, they were devine. My daughter had candy floss ice cream it was amazing.

This is the only place I could find in Scarborough selling coffee (cappuccino) ice cream, this is my favourite.

I'm surprised that this is the 1st review for Holy Cow as it's definitely worth a visit. With such a selection it's hard to decide but we eventually made up our minds, here's what we chose. 3 x 2 scoop waffle cones with Rhubarb & Custard and Blackurrant with Clotted Cream in mine, Mango and Candy Floss in my partner's, and Mint Choc Chip and Chocolate Brownie in my Stepson's. The flavours are spot on and so was the price with change from a tenner. Service was great too so give Holy Cow a go, you won't be disappointed.
