We had the set lunch meal tomato & red pepper soup, mini fish & chips & mushy peas & for a little extra apple crumble & custard was lovely

Great place to eat and socialise with friends or family. Food is delicious and also a great section of drink too.

Came for a carvery Sunday and left full and happy. Was served by Curtis who recommended chocolate fudge cake which was very big and nice. Curtis was very friendly, and talkative. And made us feel like friends

Amazing atmosphere and amazing food. Elliot made sure we felt at home with excellent service.

Elliott served us today and was very helpful. He brought us our orders with a smile. Cleared away everything once we said we were done. There was no rush to leave. I would recommend

Won't be back! First and last time visiting this place and for several reasons. Usually go Riverside farm but thought change would be good has it had been recommended by others, BIG MISTAKE! Initial greeting was warm and welcoming and acccommodating, I was impressed that they moved out table more to our preferred area, spot on Drinks and food order, quick, efficient and I thought straightforward, I WAS WRONG.Having specifically ordering 4 drinks and 4 meals given 4 carvery tickets. Get seated, go up to food counter, this is where it got interesting, embarrassing & the very reason I wont be returning. Handed over 1st ticket where we had (or so I thought) a child's carvery with extra pigs n blankets, oh no, o be told very loudly that ticket was wrong, I said we had paid for 4 meals, here are the 4 tickets to be shot down by the meat chef Sheldon in no uncertain words that I had not paid for a meal this was an extra, bearing in mind a queue was forming behind us and to save further embarrassment and arguing, my daughter went to check this out at the bar while I helped my grandchildren get there food, obviously I wasn't happy being accused of trying to get a 'free carvery' and Sheldon went to check what my daughter was upto following her to the tills, while waiting I asked for meats for children and was meet with a stare and you will have to wait! Customers behind me was empathetic and patient but I was totally embarrassed and upset so we quickly put food on their plates, daughter returned to say we had to pay for another meal has bar staff had got the order wrong. 'Sheldon' was actually glaring at me has we was being served to which I retaliated to be challenged by him asking " was I OK?" Startled by this retort I replied "no I wasnt" service is disgusting and he just laughed and his helper just rolled his eyes and looked at chef for advice, do I serve or nit, I wasn't aggressive but was met with worse customer interaction ever! We quickly chose our food and got seated, upset and somewhat angry I didn't enjoy our meal and left most of it, waiter came and asked if all was OK halfway thru meal and I just grumbled OK thanks for asking. He clearly picked up on this and has we eneded our meal a lovely waitress called JULIE, came over and asked if all was well, I feedback our experience and reason for not returning. She was most apologetic and couldn't express her disappointment that our experience had been such a negative. Offered us free desserts which we declined has we wanted to leave, but she insisted, so we just said OK thank you. On her return she handed over the selection of cakes with her apologies, I replied that she had done nothing wrong and she shouldn't be apologising but we appreciated the gesture, she then went 1 step further and had arranged for us to be refunded, which we a little shocked but accepted gratefully. This is how you treat your customers right. The chef would learn alot from this lady and I would suggest he stays in the kitchen rather than front of house has it customer care is non existent! Thank you JULIE AND MICHEAL for your amazing service, you would be the only reason we would return, but sadly it isn't enough.

Had dinner here vegetables were hard and cold dinner was very disappointing the manager was nice and saw the vegetables were hard gave us cake for the troubles. When I went back to the table the Manager was slagging us off to other customers Very unprofessional I own my own business and would never treat customers in this awful manner.

Was slightly disappointed with the carvery today, didn't feel it was up to its usual standard. The Yorkshire pudding was quite tough and I had to leave it, the broccoli I felt was undercooked and cold. The Brussels had barely spent time with the water. Sorry to say, not impressed.

Great Hospitality from Elliot, place is back where it used to be so I will be returning regularly

Lovely friendly feeling, chef who was carving up the meat you sir were absolutely brilliant. Bar area and restaurant was clean and well kept, staff were really on the ball with emptying tables and tidying.

Always a great carvery, generous desserts and friendly staff.

lovely, just gutted no roast potatoes and never much gravy. wish they would have the option to choose sides and veg and sauces like mint or apple. I'd order way more if it wasn't left to the servers decision. but nice food can't complain about that

Visited today and the toilets were is a very bad state toilets not flushing and soap dissappear hanging off the wall and what can I say about the floor it looked like it's not been cleaned in weeks

We went for the coffee and cake deal (it was before 5pm) for two people but were overcharged and did not realise until we were home. We were not offered a receipt.

Can't fault this place. Cheap and cheerful. Quick and easy. Absolutely outstanding lemon cheesecake and the staff were the cherry on the cake! Thank you Chloe, Steven and TJ. Will for sure come back next time I'm in the area 😊

Got cake away and a carvery...little one loved the play area and I went with my friends when it wasn't too busy. Carvery is amazing and they have parsnips! All about the parsnips.

Food was terrible cold and like rubber really disappointed delivery was quick so the food must have been left lying for a long time

Breakfast not very hot, Sausages left under the heat too long so a bit tough. Not sure about yorkshire pudding at breakfast

The all you can eat breakfast is fantastic. Serves between 8-11am it is extremely good value and money. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

A lovely carvery just what me needed after being at nottingham hospital emergency department for three hours but wasn't for myself thou this place is so similar to our public house gynills in leicester

my cake I ordered wasn't in my order.

Parsnips burnt and hard could not eat ,no tartar sauce with fish n chips .

Took another chance on the carvery for dinner but sadly not overly impressed again. Stuffing was burnt, sprouts and roast potatoes were tough. The kids portions woefully short on the meats and gravy and one of the boxes was open on delivery. Doubtful we will order again, unfortunately.

A family of 5 visited Holly Tree Farm for an evening meal on Tuesday 11th March. Holly Tree Farm is a regular weekly visit for us. As usual our meal was fantastic, the staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and welcoming. A big shout out needs to go to Ellis, Steven and Chloe, always smiling, great table service and superb customer service.

5* Food. Prompt and efficient service. Staff were lovely, chatty and couldn’t do enough to help. Definitely returning in the near future

Well done all our meals were excellent.Service was quick staff professional yet friendly. All looking very clean and tidy loads better than last time we went. Well done Elliot and staff improvement was very noticeable.

Had a table set as reserved but let us use it due to my father having mobility issues so needed to be close to the carvery as possible. Came to check in to make sure we were getting on okay with the meal, was able to make light hearted chatter and was quick to tidy up our table. The food was excellent, as usual. Opted for puddings that we don’t usually and my goodness! Was not disappointed with them! Huge and super tasty.

Elliot checked in on us to make sure everything was okay, stopped to make light-hearted conversation, and was quick to tidy empties from the table. The food was excellent as usual. We've seen a really great improvement with quality of food within the past year. We opted for puddings this evening which was out of the norm but may have to become a regular thing as they were fantastic.

Not happy spending all that money, they ran out of some food didn't tell us then we had to wait 10 mins for pigs in blanket then the Gammon was not cooked .My dawas sick after she had half of her dinner 🍽 not happy if I didn't live so far I would of taken back never again

The food was exceptional, service too. Excellent value for money, not enough stars on here to give. Definitely one if the best Sunday Carvery for some time.

Awful experience. We didn't know that we should of booked. Place wasn't that busy and the woman said sit over there so we sat next to the door . When other people arrived they were nicely excorted to their tables where we were just ignored. They went around asking customer's how their meals were and we were completely ignored. Definitely never go there again. Food was cold veg under cooked .

Been to Holy Tree Farm a very lot of times but I am sorry what we experienced on our last visit was unacceptable from dirty tables to the dress code of the staff ,then to top it the food (carvery)was cold and I had to pick up vegetables from of the floor were the carvery was being served ,before someone fell ,come on Holy Tree Farm what’s happened we were full of praise for you a few months back ,hoping you will take this on board and bring it back to its rightful place 👍

Ordered a turkey carvey,was like slops! No slices of turkey,just a table spoon of cut offs,1 small roast potato,no Yorkshire pudding,small scoop of mash,terrible

Been here today for my 1st time had such brilliant service it was my mums birthday and have never felt so welcomed by a lovely bunch of people into such a great atmosphere I highly recommend this place the whole team works brilliantly from when you walk in to when you walk out and the food was amazing iam definitely coming back and a special thank you to Ella front of house and Karen and Jeanne

Great Sunday roast, cake & very friendly helpful staff

The breakfast was really disappointing ; the bacon was cheap thick and tasted like salt , the sausages looked grey , the scrambled eggs looked and tasted disgusting the hash browns and beans were alright and the fried egg was alright in my opinion it was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had

Came here for a family lunch, 5 of us, service was prompt and efficient. The food was very tasty, fresh and hot. We were looked after by a lovely member of staff, Ela, she took our orders, brought the food, checked on us and then cleared our table, she was just brilliant.

Not sure how a whole restaurant has no desserts. Definitely should let people know before wasting 35 mins

Greeted by lovely Elliot this evening who told us about the kids eat for free offer. Food was great. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Came here in half term as a family of 7, had a variety of menu items and carveries. At the end of half term with other families clearly doing the same the place was heaving. The ordering to delivery of the food was a little disjointed with one mains having to be chased long after others were served to the table. Then with our deserts the availability was poor and after 15 minutes we also had to chase these up and then what was delivered was not exactly what we ordered. In fairness to the managers on duty they were fire fighting every situation presented to them as best they could and I didn’t ruin our experience, but you could tell the system was a breaking point with the volume of customers put upon them.

Breakfast visit was great had a bad experience here a while ago so decided to try it again which was alot better experience.

There is more staff walking around than serving! They don't do any vegetarian options so charge a full rate for Sunday dinner even if you can have the meat

We visited the Holly Tree Farm to celebrate my niece’s birthday on Thursday 13th February. We enjoyed the roast carvery and received very caring and friendly service from our waitress, Ela. Thank you to Ela and the team at Holly Tree Farm for a great evening.

Been waiting for drinks for 20 minutes. What’s the point having online orders to a table if staff can’t be arsed to serve 2 drinks. Can serve everyone else but us even when no one is there our drinks sat on the side. Disappointing that this happens on valentines days. Not even busy and they can’t do a simple task. All they do is look at the drinks and the woman who finally gave them to us wasn’t even nice. Worse service we’ve had. 2 weeks ago was much better and it was busier than today. Someone else ordered to their table and they got it super quick, their drinks didn’t sit for 20 minutes and it was a little busier at that time compared to when we ordered ours. Put empty starter plate to one side. A guy comes try takes the sauce we say we want to keep them for our mains. Guy took both sauces and put his fingers into it nearly spilling it on me. A woman got free cake for getting lettuce she requested not to have but for others like us who don’t want peas and late warm drinks not even an apology. Rather go to bowman and splinters they have good service and food comes correct

Visited the kids valentines event and it was brilliant. So fun a friendly for my daughter, she absolutely loved dancing around with everyone. Massive shout out to Caria who made sure we were comfortable and was very attentive

Been coming here for a long time and never any issues. Today was a difference (11/02). Came in for lunch with 3 other people. Opted for the carvery. Food was ok. But a hair found in the stuffing. Informed a waitress of which she spoke to her manager and compensated with a piece of cake. But not once did the manager come over once we complained Highly disappointed with the service

Paid extra to have extra Yorkshire pudding and it states on carvery you get a Yorkshire pudding as standard and I wanted extra with pigs in blankets

I'm not happy with the quantity of meat. One tiny slice of turkey and beef. Definitely not value for money.

Absolutely awful. Went at 6pm. Ran out of beef, all the veg had definitely been under the light too long, it was dried out. Ran out of normal gravy, only had onion gravy available. The meat slices was as thin as a fag paper. Had to wait for pigs in blankets to be bought to our table. Whoever was on the bar was more interested in talking with a mate than serving customers. Definitely not return with this kind of service. I might as well have gave my £26 to kebab shop. I'd have enjoyed it a lot better and got better value for money!

Went in with my mates for some food and drink the gentleman called Adam and lady called Ela if i remember correctly was very polite and nice they greeted me at the door and told me how it all worked, a lady called Lexus served me on the bar with another lady called Steve very polite as I was ordering, the fully loaded chicken strips i ordered was amazing, I will defo be back the staff are so friendly and the food was really good for the price maybe next time I will try the chicken medley the lady suggested 😁
