Hettie's Tearoom in Perth & Kinross

We have visited here only once before and second time around we were not disappointed. We had a lovely sandwich with chips, the cheese and pickle really is very good. My husband had a tuna panini. A fruit scone and butter and a slice of the best coffee cake ever, too big to eat at one sitting so we took the rest of it home. The fresh tea leaf tea is a real treat, and we bought some to take home with us. It was good to see such a diverse range of staff too, all of whom seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Well worth a second visit and we will be back, dog friendly too, so a big tick from us for that too. Thank you Hettie's tea room for a lovely lunch.

Popped in here for coffee and cake to round off a lovely day out. What a mistake! Sullen staff badly in need of customer service training. Tasteless coffee and the worst scone I have ever been served. Our coffee was served in reasonable time but we had to remind them that we were still waiting for our scone and cake. While there we saw another couple walk out after reminding the staff twice that they were still waiting for their food. To their credit they did not charge me for the scone.

Popped in fear tea and scone today really disappointed the scone was really dry , they make a big point about about their loose leaf tea it arrived 5 minutes after the scone it would make sense to serve both things together it might have helped wash down he dry scone, the tea must have been coming from CHINA…. They have plenty of staff so I don’t know wats going on.

Menu is slim pickings unless want tea and cake or a sandwich! Staff not as attentive as they used to be! Dog friendly, staff didn't acknowledge we had a dog, we had to ask for water for him, dog friendly? Hetties was always a must but the change isn't good 😕

We had two sandwich and cake combo ..both delicious and lovely salad and slaw on the side ,great service as always from Hetties we are local but if you are a visitor then definitely stop here for a visit you won't be disappointed 😋

The cakes look fantastic and it is a pretty place and quite comfortable. It is also very busy and the menu set up for the ease of getting people through the door and out as quickly as possible. The food is ok - it all looks good but order the soup and sandwich and the soup portion is small and overall it is an expensive meal. Two lots of soup and sandwich ,one scone and teas almost £40……nice but not that nice .

We came here for breakfast one morning of our stay in Pitlochry. We had scones and coffee, both were very good. The service is good and it's got a nice atmosphere. I'd come again.

This is a must stop place. It is lovely! The teas are beautiful. The sandwiches are amazing. The cakes and cheesecakes are sinfully delicious. Friendly group running it including Hettie's mom who is beautiful.

The person who owns or runs that place needs to retire. I thought that attitude was well behind up. She makes the place really uncomfortable. Perhaps it would be best if you were behind the scenes washing dishes and leave customer engagement to the younger less bitter employees. Changed our mind and just left with takeaway.

Booked Hetties after taking my partner Canyoning for his birthday just down the road. So happy we did. Had mentioned on the booking form that it was my partners birthday and asked if I brought a candle could they pop it into his cake. I forgot the candle and didn't think much more of it until staff came out singing happy birthday with a candle in his scone! He was both mortified and grateful 🤣 Food was 10/10, the hot chocolate and coleslaw both to die for, I couldn't finish my lunch but took it away in a box for later. The staff really make this place extra special, from the lovely young server we had to the owner who chatted away to us, just a really lovely place. We will definitely be back. I'd make sure to book though as they get extremely busy (I can see why!) Thanks again for the surprise :)

Was there on Wednesday gorgeous little place. Afternoon tea lovely and what a choice of teas. The owner asked if it was a special occasion and we said my cousins birthday. When the cakes came she sang happy birthday to her and even produced a candle.

This awesome cafe is amazing and delicious,i had the Cafetella Espresso,coronation chicken panini with salad and red cabbage coleslaw,dessert was Jaffa cake cheese cake,absolutely loved it all

Stopped in for a soup and sandwich while meeting my dad in Pitlochry. Hettie's was recommended by one of the train station staff and it didn't disappoint. Lovely welcome, our waitress took time to explain the menu, the offers and the facilities on site - just taking that extra moment made all the difference. Food was great, milkshake was amazing and prices fairly reasonable considering we were visiting in the height of the tourist season. Will definitely return!
