Bacon, brie, and cranberry baguette was delicious and a really good bargain! Coleslaw was equally yummy. And all very affordable.

A lovely, welcoming coffee house. Freshly made sandwiches and a good coffee. Definitely recommend a visit if in Evesham.

Lovely staff. Visited twice. First time the toasted bagel was perfection second visit it was extremely well done and unpleasant. Strawberry milkshake wow. Toilet down very steep stairs. 3 steps to enter cafe.

Think this cafe has new management as wasn't as good as the previous time. Service was very slow. Not sure if will revisit

I was in Evesham for the day, wanted a coffee and a snack and a local shopkeeper recommended Herbies. Good coffee and cake, very pleasant people, clean surroundings, quick service and good value for money. Would certainly return and I can see why someone who lives locally would recommended it.

Jacket potatoes was amazing value for money. Large with salad on the side delicious. Lovely setting in a little square you can sit inside or outside.

Called for a quick lunch, had a lovely chicken salad followed by a piece of chocolate fudge cake, which was plenty for a lunchtime. Very friendly, would definitely recommend a visit.

Arrived there with 3 friends for a quick snacks during a trip. We were told whilst queuing, quite abruptly, that they were no longer serving food (about 2 pm on a Saturday). Looked like they had a few orders and probably were understaffed. Ended up only having drinks (Smoothies and shakes OK, but £2.75 for a can of Coke is definitely not good VFM). Overall a disappointing experience from a place we were expecting more from their reviews

Found this lovely coffee shop in the square by the Abbey. Very friendly staff. Scrummy carrot cake & creamy latte. Will return.

Popped in here on Monday dinner time after being seated were told they were not doing food as they were short staffed .

We take are granddaughter there because found it was best place for good milkshakes on this if you're pregnant you can have a milkshake which made site which made the right thing the food is fresh & good There disabled parking in square for small amounts of cars, if you disabled you get Into Herbies up the passage by side to get in .there a good atmosphere & friendly staff . Nice little coffee shop with outside seating in the town square and opposite a most amazing tudor building which is now a Bank. They serve very good quality coffee.

Sat outside here in the square for a coffee with friends. The service was excellent, the coffee too and the nutty cheesecake was delicious. All reasonably priced.

We arrived at about 4.30pm (just) after food orders had officially discontinued, but nonetheless were allowed to place our order for snacks and drinks. These were delivered faultlessly and we enjoyed a great look-out over the pedestrianised square. A recommended venue.

Lovely little restaurant quite small, but has tables outside when weather permits. Food cooked to order. My only regret is that I didn’t see the great looking cakes until I was leaving. :-((((

Great place to enjoy a lovely coffee break, we sat outside and enjoyed the weather! Not suitable for wheelchair users unless the weather is dry and you can sit outside. Attract the staff and they will take your order and deliver it to your table. Really great friendly staff. The coffee we had was outstanding!

We live in Evesham and on a sunny day Herbies is one of our favourite places to grab a quick lunch and a cup of coffee. The staff is very friendly, here we can feel the authentic atmosphere of Evesham as we’re sitting right in front of the Town Hall.

Taking advantage of the good weather we headed for Evesham and our first stop was Herbies Coffee shop and our sandwiches and side salads were excellent all served with a smile by friendly efficient staff. Lovely food at very reasonable prices and a great start to our visit.

Fell upon this place on a day trip to Evesham - run by a nice young couple with excellent service and nicely prepared food. My wife said that her jacket potato was the best she has had for ages - and that is a good recomendation.

I was working in Evesham and called in for a coffee. The cafe itself is lovely and there looked to be a good selection of food and snacks; but, more importantly, the coffee was great. Great taste, expertly made with very good service. I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful little shop. Staff warm and welcoming with a good selection of beverages and snacks. Prices are typical for the type of establishment. You have to go up steps to get in though, not sure if they have another entrance for disabled

Had a coffee crawl with a group of friends on behalf of the recent MacMillans coffee morning and stopped off at Herbies.

So pleasant to be remembered and made welcome on our second visit to this cosy cafe. The very hardworking owners still manage to find the time to chat to regulars and strangers alike. Two very enjoyable visits for good food and cuppas made particularly memorable by the warm and friendly atmosphere.

We called here just for drinks and were very impressed with this bright friendly coffee shop. The staff though young were very proficient and obviously took great pride in thier work. I ha a peppermint tea which was loose leaf and delicious,my companions had a selection of coffees which again were freshly made.Would definatley call here again.

Had been in here before and had found it quite good with nice staff. On this occasion ordered coffees and sandwiches which comes with crisps and salad. We asked for coleslaw and one of the staff had to fetch it from the supermarket. It took so long that we had drunk our coffees before any sign of a sandwich. My husband paid for the coffees and asked for his money back for the sandwiches as we had waited almost an hour.

We visited Evesham on a whim on a very hot day a few weeks ago. We wanted to try an independent coffee shop and found Herbie's on the square. There are tables outside but we sat inside to shelter from the sun! We both ordered cafe frappe with cinnamon. O.M.G. the best frappe we have both tasted. I didn't check what was in it but it must have had ice cream because it was creamy and thick and sooooo yummy. The cinnamon flavour just made it too! Can't comment on the food as we only had toasted tea cakes but everything looked very fresh.

Yes lots of choice in town but this is the one i always end up in.The reason being is the quality of food and coffee on offer is the best in town.Everything is good you cant go wrong.Its a dog friendly place but if its nice weather i adore sat outside enjoying my coffee and cake in the bustle of the square.

We popped in on a rainy day for a hot drink and cake. The tea was lovely and they even had soy milk and didn't groan when I asked for it. I got a lemon and poppy seed muffin which was lovely, maybe homemade? It was missing the lemon part unfortunately. Still ate it and wouldn't put me off returning. My bf got a flat white with a coffee/walnut cake and his portion was very generous. The staff were nice, one was on her phone often but it is just one of those things nowadays. I would definitely return.

A super little place. Good coffee, great choice of cakes and pastries. Didn't try any hot food on our visit so no thoughts on that. Super range of paers and magazines to browse, perfect for a Sunday morning. Toilets were spotless and well appointed which is more than can be said for some other places we visited here.

Friendly and efficient service. Good coffee. Pleasant surroundings, Tables outside in the traffic-free square give it a continental feel. Lovely.

Popped in for a coffee and sandwich, the server said there would be a delay on food we were in no hurry so agreed. The coffee came after 10 minutes and was good, my wife's teacake arrived after 20 minutes and was ok. At 40 minutes I enquired where my sandwich was? The staff then fell out over not bothering to make a sandwich which was clearly written out on the order list then laughed. Anyone can make a mistake but the laugh and lack of concern about my wait will ensure we don't return

We visited this delightful coffee house for lunch last week & were immediately made to feel at ease,lovely setting,polite friendly & capable staff,

this coffee house had been recommended in the visitors book in our rented house. We found it in the square and gave it a try. It was very good, service great, seating inside or out and busy all day. Not just coffee and cake but they had quite a large menu so you could lunch there also take away available. It also states it is a 'safe place'.

herbies cafe is located in a good spot,behind the natwest bank in a type of square.it has out door tables and chairs.it is clean and the service was good.it has a good selection of cakes and drinks,and is reasonably priced.on a nice sunny hot day,this is a good place to go and relax.

visited this small place on every visit to Evesham. I have never been disappointed this time we sat out on their tables in the sunshine the waitress was SO lovely and quick the food is really enjoyable

Stopped here for coffee and cake/biscuits three timrpesvon recent trip to Evesham. The first time we enjoyed Danish pastries, the second an average millionaires shortbread and biscuits and we both had biscuits on the third occasion. A bit hit and miss as to what cakes were available. Service very good, but female waitress on first occasion much more friendly than the guy on the subsequent visits.

My Husband and I decided to visit Evesham on Bank Holiday Monday in order to spend the day walking our dog and taking time out to spend with each other away from work. We walked around Abbey Park and through the town centre. It started raining a little so we decided to stop somewhere and have coffee however there were only a couple of cafes with shelter but they were all full and most places don't allow dogs. We stopped at Bernies coffee house and ordered 2 cappuccinos which were priced at £2.60 each for large ones, this was very reasonable. I was told that we could bring our dog inside as the seats were wet but it had stopped raining by now so we sat outside and had our our coffee - what a lovely gesture though! The coffees were lovely and we sat there taking in the remainder of the day before making our way home.The shop was very inviting and had some lovely cakes etc however as we had eaten earlier will save this for our next visit.

Hadn't visited Evesham for a while and found this place to get ourselves a coffee and a bite to eat. Service was good and the coffees arrived promptly followed by cheese toasties with salad on the side. Tasty. It's a nice change from the Costa Coffee's of this world. Give it a try.

We called here for refreshment on the wet Wednesday morning. We were made very welcome The decor is somewhat dated but it is still a delight.

Dropped in for a coffee today, some professional thoughtful ideas comfy relaxing chairs, newspapers, magazines much nicer than the well known coffee branches. The coffee was spot on too. Staff polite, very nice experience, toilets clean.

Just popped in for coffee on recent visit to Evesham. Coffee was good, but chap behind counter was brusque when I proffered my debit card to pay for our drinks and eats.....?only takes cash apparently.....strange in this day and age ..plus made to feel little awkward.

Really great small coffee house in the pretty part of Evesham town centre. Friendly and fast service and really delicious coffee in a lovely old building. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. Fairly priced and a good selection of drinks and bites to eat. I will definitely be returning.

After waking up in the premier inn we were staying at in Evesham we chose not to pay their breakfast prices (nearly £9 EACH!!) and venture to find a café. After walking around the town centre we came across Herbies. Looking at the menu on the outside of the café we weren't sure if they served breakfasts so went inside and asked, the friendly guy working inside said he could make us up a bacon sandwich which we thought sounded lovely and nice of him so decided to stay as we just wanted a light bite (which came to around £11 with 2 drinks). Lovely little café on the market place of Evesham.

This is a lovely little cafe and great it is open on a Sunday too when a lot of the town isn't. Really friendly staff but in a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely become regular customers here and support our local cafes! Great to see it busy the few times we have been in - sign of a great place!

we drove from Monmouth to evesham for a day out and came across this delightful coffee shop. we only had a couple of drinks the service was great and staff friendly nice drinks and good value.

I came in here recently for coffee with my daughter. However, poor choice of cafe. The coffee and cake were lovely but the poor rating is given due to the atmosphere. The gentleman who served me was very rude. He evidently has no idea about customer relations as he could not be bothered to smile or make any eye contact. I also found it very awkward to sit and listen to the way he spoke down abruptly to other staff. They were doing a good job! I certainly will not be coming here again in a hurry, very disappointing end to my trip to Evesham.

Popped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon and sampled a double espresso with a slice of chocolate fudge cake. Ooooooooh soooooo delicious. I tried my partners lemon and poppy seed muffin and that was delicious as well. Recommended.

We stopped off for a light lunch - toasted sandwiched & cake plus a pot of tea. Excellent quality and good value. Dogs are allowed inside, and the papers are available to read. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

The staff in Herbies are so friendly. It is a nice place to have some time out and meet your friends for coffee, or maybe sit and read one of their papers and magazines - it is SO nice not to have to queue for half an hour AND THEN have to clear your own table like you do in Costa! !! I love how Melody has put daffodils out on the tables, they look lovely and really cheer Market Square up :-)

Has to be said this is one of the better coffee shops in the area. Whether you are stopping in or getting a tea to take away the service is quick and friendly. Decent value for money and the milkshakes are the best feature!

Chocolate milkshakes to die for. Made with ice cream and proper chocolate bars all blended together with milk. When you've finished one you want another straight away.

Herbies is a lovely little cafe. I regularly visit with work and for my own pleasure. Great selection of cakes and drinks. The owners are lovely and everyone that works here always serves you with a smile and lovely little chat. A must if you are ever visiting the area or even live in evesham and looking for somewhere new to go for a beverage or a bite to eat...

Stopped here the other day for a drink with my wife. Sat outside in the square and enjoyed the sunshine. I had a large hot chocolate and my wife had a large latte. Not cheap at just over £5, but a fair price compared to rival venues. Staff were very friendly.Can really comment about the inside or the toilets as didn't use either, but the menu looked nice with a range of cakes and cookies at reasonable prices.Would definitely recommend.

Last Friday we were visiting Evesham and got caught in the rain,we found this wonderful little cafe and asked if we could bring in our dog. We had to wait five minutes for the manager to return who quickly said go in. We were made to feel very welcome as was our small dog. This cafe is a joy and spotlessly clean as were the toilets. The staff were friendly and made one of the hottest and nicest lattes I've had in a while. They serve a great collection of food and cakes and we watched them making some wonderful looking milkshakes in some great flavours from favourite chocolate bars. Next time we go to Evesham we will most certainly be calling in. I hope the locals realise they have a gem of a cafe.

You've just got to love an independent coffee house that does it well. At Herbies, you'll find friendly, professional staff and good, fresh food. We enjoyed a coronation chicken jacket potato that was tasty and came with a choice of crisps, coleslaw or salad on the side. What's really impressive though, is that owner, Mel, also offers options of soya milk and some gluten-free cakes. When in Evesham, we always pop in for a coffee, hot chocolate or milkshake and relax in the soft leather sofa or sit on stools in the huge open window, overlooking the square. I would definitely recommend a visit and I'd bet you would return!

Just on the market square with good window seating if you are lucky, sandwiches are freshly made to order and the staff are friendly and seem glad to be of service. Food was presented well and was definitely edible and worth the modesty investment.
