Beautiful venue, excellent food and fantastic service from Ali! I highly recommend it to all families looking for a special day out!

The portions were quite small, got the impression that we weren't particularly welcome. They didn't seem prepared for our party even though wed booked for a table for nine way in advance.

Super cute place with great decor. Had a vegan menu and gluten free options, perfect for my gluten and dairy intolerances. I was able to enjoy an incredible waffle with vegan chocolate gelato, fruit and chocolate sauce. So so tasty. The waitress (Nisa) was lovely and made sure we understood all the options and allergen info.

Awesome for any meal, great selection of meals and the meal quality was awesome highly recommend the make your own meal

We’ve ordered from here several times (at least 4x)—just dessert. My partner’s order, which is more complicated, is always correct. My order, which is always to leave sauce off, is never correct. Not once. It’s very, very frustrating to pay this much for food that I end up wasting more than half of in an attempt to scrape the mounds of extra chocolate off. We’ll keep ordering from here as my partner loves it but it’s disappointing that my order has never been right.

The food was tasty, but it was not balanced. I had the chocolate and salted caramel tart, and there was so much salted caramel you couldn't see the tart, the vanilla ice cream did nothing to cut through the rich sweetness, and the honeycomb was hard and not good, I make better honeycomb. It would be better with about 1/20th the amount of sauce, and something tart or acidic like raspberry or peach to cut through it. My friends enjoyed their food, they just felt the portions were too large. The server, Ali, was pleasant enough, but he was the only server on, so he was mostly distracted having to divide his time over every occupied table. He forgot my friend's drink orders, and had to be reminded. There were maybe 5 other tables occupied at this point. The atmosphere was pastel, and I don't recall there being music, we made our own atmosphere. The toilet seat in the women's needs fixing. Especially as the womens doubles as the disabled, and the seat needs to be solid and stable for wheelchair users transferring on to it. It was also dirty. The men's needs a sanitary bin.

Nice place with good food. The wait can get a bit long but very worth it. Also orders online which is great aswell. :D

Although the server Ali was rushed off his feet, we still got service with a smile and a truly heavenly dessert!

Sugar heaven, I’ve had multiple things off the menu and they’ve always been fresh and delicious. Beautifully decorated and nice atmosphere.

Absolutely gorgeous food and the restaurant looks lovely, for the quality of desserts the prices are reasonable. Heavenly desserts is well known across the city as the best place to go for a special sweet treat.

Great Baklava after a night at the theatre!

Very nice food, cookie dough and waffle was good, but over priced for things on make your own, £1.95 for 5 raspberries or 5 small pieces of honey comb, ice cream was only half a scoop for the price £3.95. Poor waiter was on his own, serving and cleaning tables and got a few orders wrong. Need atleast 2 members of staff on floor

Another place you need to put on your to-do list. These desserts were heavenly. Very good portions the service very good lots of smiley faces. A bit pricey but when you take into account portion size, good service and the place was relatively quiet with background music I think as a one off a very good place to dive into some heavenly dessert. Would recommend.

We enjoyed the vanilla, pistachio, and rose milk cake with my other half. It was amazing to be looked after by Ali who is my namesake. Atmosphere was fantastic, dessert was lovely. Soft but rich flavor, amazing presentation.

It is a beautiful café and has meals for breakfast. What distinguishes the café is that everything it offers is halal. My experience there is wonderful and its breakfast is delicious

Desserts are delicious, as well as the Brunch dishes. I ordered the pistachio croffle. Loved it! No fault with the service, all good. I was served by Ali, he was polite and professional.

Fudge cake was tiny especially for £9.90 and the Nutella waffle can with loads of crushed nuts on which was not asked for. We will not buy from here again. Shame as they used to be great!

We' ve been at York , served by Ali. Finally a very tasty dessert ( cheese cake - sapphron/ chocolate ) which does not taste like the usual pastry at big bar chain. Service was top notch and at level of whag we did eat today. Strongly recommend. Better one priper dessert once in a while than dozens of daily anonymous food. Best Mn

Nice chilled vibe. Decor nice and welcoming. Our server was Ali who was lovely. We had the best desserts we’ve ever had. My partner had the caramel monkey bread which was out of this world ! I had banoffee waffle which was again lovely the ice cream is to die for. You won’t be disappointed

Ali did a fantastic job. We loved our experience. The only thing that we could say to make better is the bathrooms needs to be cleaned more but overall we will come back again.

We went in for takeout. Had a brownie & a cheesecake. The food was lovely, service was good but personally think it's over priced, nearly £10 for a tiny piece of cheesecake is high.

Unfortunately the deserts aren't what they advertise, they buy supermarket ready made deserts and warm them up! Like ready made chocolate brownie pieces and cinnamon swirls rather than fresh baked dough bread. The service was excellent and the server was polite and helpful. The place is let down by the food.

I have been to this Heavenly Desserts branch, York, several times with each time being very busy. However, this time it was surprisingly virtually empty. My Grandson and I were met by the chef and shown to our table with menus to pore over. Tempting though all the desserts were I chose smoked salmon on smashed avocado and sourdough. My Grandson, on the other hand went for hot cookie dough and ice-cream. We both tucked in, each salivating with every bite! Both dishes were absolutely delicious and to be recommended. Service was unobtrusive but attentive and I would recommend coming here.

Ooooh the apple crumble took me right back to my childhood. It was absolutely beautiful! The packaging is very pretty and functional; so there are no spillages or mashed up food. Care has been taken from beginning to end. Thank you very much 5⭐️

Only came for an evening milkshake and coffee but we did enjoy them and got given water for the table without asking! The atmosphere was a little off as we had drunken guys next to us who were incredibly loud which altered the experience. Would go back just to see if the day is any better as I have previously enjoyed my experience here and would’ve been a lot better without the guys next to us!

We went here today for mothers day, they had a special mothers eat free offer on. But only on selected items ( this part is not shown on the offer) We were seated and eventually someone came to take our order. We ordered 3 smoothies and 3 deserts. Yet again we waited, after ages the deserts arrived but no drinks. I told the waiter we had ordered the drinks, he said I will go and get them for you. Omg I have never eaten my food before the drinks arrived until today. The service was dreadful (it wasn't that busy) to top it off we paid the bill to find the free mothers offer hadn't been taken off! Food was OK but the service was rubbish. Won't be coming back in a rush!
