Heavenly Desserts York in York

They have improved their quality, but the images they are using are misleading and the portions definitely not reflect the price

The food was lovely but I paid £3.50 for a can of Pepsi and £3.50 for a can of Fanta, £7 for 2 cans of pop is ridiculous

The food itself was really tasty, lots of flavour and sauce. However, the cookie dough looked completely different from the picture. It was not in a rectangular box and was instead a flattened cookie shape. This meant that it got stuck to the grease proof paper and you got a lot less in comparison. Previously, they have used these boxes (as pictured) but not anymore. Bit disappointing as they cost 10.95 each…

Excellent food & service. Restaurant very clean, a little quiet but that was purely time of day.

After a dinner and a trip to york with my parents who came from abroad, we visited Heavenly Desert , our family experience was heavenly and all thanks to Lorien , she made our experience so special that I was thinking this is how one look after their customer, wish her all the best cant wait to go back again and be served by the amazing Lorien again.

Note Google opening hour times are misleading, as eat in finishes 30 minutes prior to the closing times listed on google. We were told if we wanted to eat in, we would need to clean up after ourselves and mop the floor. Staff member was very rude, so decide to spend my money elsewhere.

Lorien is the best, we enjoyed our brunch here!! For the business owners: you may increase the number of staff, it will help with the waiting time

Our server Adam although busy assisted with our selection , and fantastic choice, trio of shots, recommended in addition to a sundae. A great place for that heavenly treat. Much like most restaurants I do feel a 2nd rate customer when I see product exiting passed me by cyclists with coloured boxes strapped to their backs. Especially when wait times are long and only few customers present!

Anastazja served us with friendliness and kindness. I also got a happy birthday surprise candle and chocolate writing. Such a nice touch. On the whole the puddings were ok, but I think we were expecting exceptional for the price. One of my sons got the wrong pudding delivered, but when it was replaced for the right one, half the ingredients that made it crunchy were missing. So it was a bland soggy mess. But we didn't want to say anything as we had already had to complain. We shared each others after that.

Nothing Heavenly here.... One young waiter, Adam, doing everything. Young girl doing nothing that we saw. Ordered two very simple brunch dishes. 30 minutes for coffee to arrive and 45 minutes for food. Overdone and luke warm solid. poached egg. Chopped tin tomatoes stone cold. Totally horrendous experience and one to avoid.

Had brunch here today with my friend..lovely food and great service from the blonde lady sorry don't know her name.I had the scrambled egg and my friend had the flatbread.Both delicious and our lattes were one of the best I have had just wish they were bigger!!But I did love the quirky glasses.We will be back to try the desserts which looked unreal !!Lovely place and all the food looked top notch !

Was really looking forward to our first visit here but really disappointed with the service. Got seated, only one other couple in the place, waited ages for someone to come to the table, was told she would bring menus over. Five minutes later menus arrived, we chose what we were having and ordered them plus drinks. A while after the desserts arrived, still no drinks even after desserts were eaten. I asked where the drinks were and she went looking, apparently sat on the side going cold. Didn't want them at this stage after eating, they were taken off the bill but very disappointed, don't think we will return.

Absolutely gorgeous place to have brunch, staff were very welcoming and friendly, the food was so tasty and fresh! If you're after a cute vibe, a great atmosphere and freshly made, tasty food then this is your place! We will be back on our next trip to York :-)

Excellent food and pleasant staff. However? Problem with being overcharged on the bill. Offer 10% which wasn’t applied, revised bill only discounted only 1 item, not 2, and tried to tell me it is an automated till??. Eventually got the correct bill.

Extremely disappointed. I’ve been many times before and it has been excellent but today half the menu was missing, the food was burnt and presentation was poor as well as staff being inattentive and chairs and tables dirty.

Ordered off Deliveroo and the images on there show the cookie dough to be quite large, so paying near £13 for it didn’t seem too bad, but when it arrived it was only about a third of the advertised size (about the size of a regular cookie you could get 5 of from a supermarket for less than £2)! It said nothing about this in the description, and Deliveroo said that, as I received the correct item, there is naught they can do for me. Very disappointing on that front. However, I obviously ate it and it was delicious, but I will be ordering from elsewhere in the future due to the ridiculous price point and false advertising.

Ordered for delivery to our hotel. Ordered crepes but received waffles which we didn’t like so didn’t eat. Requested a refund via delivaroo but was told it wasn’t possible due to not having a good enough issue with it. Not happy want my refund

It was really great visit, we had to wait a longer moment for anyone to approach as regardless not many customers inside but it wasn't to big of an issue for us. Desserts were super sweet and heavy but that's exactly the choices that we've made and what we hoped for. I will recommend this place to anyone who's feeling like having memorable dessert. Interior gives luxurious vibe to it all.

Service was great and atmosphere was nice, unfortunately food was average and portions are tiny for what your paying for, I could have easily eaten 2x plates but not great for what you pay for.

Visited Heavenly Desserts York today. We was late as we came 15 minutes after their closing time however they happily welcomed us in. Shaan, Denisa And Duy did absolutely amazing and really impressed us. We got 3 milkshakes, a mojito and a berry French toast and we got it served within 5 minutes which no other restaurant has ever done before. This has to be the best service I’ve experienced and the best food I’ve ever had. See you again soon 😆

Gorgeous food! Been here a bunch and it never disappoints. Absolutely recommend the blueberry French toast pudding and pistachio gelato. Server was absolutely lovely!

We ate at this place two times in like 24 hours because it was that good the first time we had to go a second.

I’m a regular here so the desserts did not disappoint. The reason why I am rating it 2 stars as of now is because today I came here with family. We were not seated until around 10 minutes later and we had gotten dirty cups from the bar. After telling the waitress, we found out she was the only member of staff serving. Poor girl was stressed out and was rushing around serving the whole restaurant. 5 stars to her and 2 to the people in charge of staffing tonight.

Although very busy, we were made to feel welcome, and catered to extremely well by the girl hosting and running food on 06/08/24.

Desserts was nice as always but service has really dropped recent times. There’s only 1 waitress/waiter ever in and there busy running off there feet. We were waiting to be seated for 10 minutes even though seats were all free. Ordered some drinks and the cups were all dirty and smelt very off. Desserts came late and had to wait another 10 minutes for cutlery and ended up serving ourselves. Whoever is running this place get some more staff!

Extremely dirty plates and cups , melted ice cream, all had bits of other flavours as if the same scoop had been used for all . Don't be drawn in by the aesthetics.dissapointing experience

Came for brunch and had bagels which were really nice. We also had the chocolate fudg cake which was so good. Was great service too.

5 stars for the man himself Duy. So friendly and warm! Despite coming in quite late he was full of smiles and so hospitable, which made our dessert even better! 100% recommend!
