Good quality food ( great bacon in particular!) freshly cooked. Comfy sofas, great surroundings (it's in a motorbike shop) and decent choice of food and drink. Recommended.

Great friendly service and a vast menu! Visited ad hoc whilst car at a nearby garage and was very pleased I did. Great menu including vegan options. Brilliant value in a welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to like a Triumph to visit but if you do you’re in for a treat.

All the usual suspects with the addition of spam and black pudding which you usually have to pay extra for. They also use a nice bloomer bread which is a perfect accompaniment to the breakfast, much better than your box standard sandwich loaf. Dont miss their home baked treats either, all baked beautifully. Good value for money, nice coffee, quality food, what more could you ask for? Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Always brilliant service and top quality food. The iced caramel latte is amazing and the 3 begs benni is not to be missed either. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommended

While having my Triumph serviced I was pleasantly surprised to see this great cafe attached. The food was very nice, excellent coffee ☕️ 😋. All provided in a very comfortable place served by cheerful, well mannered staff. I'll be coming again with a friend next time. Highly recommended 👌

Excellent breakfast, however the decaf coffee was slightly weak for my liking. I would definitely return for a breakfast.

Fantastic food and lovely staff. Just wish they'd sort their hot water machine out - the drinks aren't very hot. Sort this out and if would be five stars from me

Had to wait half an hour for cooked breakfast. Pot of tea had gone cold by the time the food arrived. Fortunately, the food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. They were busy though with a large building site across the road. The staff were very nice too!

Came here just for coffee but ended up having brunch. The food was really good. Me and mum had the veggie breakfast which was lovely and dad had the omelette was also good. The only reason it was not 5 stars is that they were very busy, so the tables were not cleaned (our one was a bit sticky). It's a great place though with a great atmosphere.

Nice little cafe in a pleasant part of town but of course what makes this place special is that it’s connected and open to the amazing Triumph dealership next door. Wish I lived locally as I would ride here often. Lots of motorcyclists came through for both some scran and some motorcycle chat. Cool memorabilia throughout. Great vibe.

Quality Find. Really good breakfast went for largest ( Greedy ) it beat me. Pleasant staff. Part of Triumph motorbike dealership so interesting memorabilia on walls. Well worth a visit

Had the moto 2 breakfast while waiting for my wife’s bike it’s the second time I have had breakfast here food was very nice and included in the price was a nice coffee staff very friendly would recommend

Great find! Fantastic breakfast and greta veggie/vegan selection. Really good coffee, friendly staff and fab music on. If I'm ever back in York this will be my go to breakfast spot.

My husband and my self have called in on a Saturday morning for a breakfast whist he looks at the bikes a few times the service is very good and the food is very nice the only thing is I wish they did tinned tomatoes not the fresh ones but the breakfast is very filling and would defo recommend.

After a 3 hour early morning drive from the south we enjoyed the warmest of welcomes and a fabulously fresh breakfast before starting work. We’ll definitely be calling back next time we visit. Ps, the motorbikes are good too!!

Spot on wee café. Not the cheapest, but excellent value as the food is really good. They do a variety of breakfasts, burgers and toasted sandwiches, all fresh cooked to order, plus tasty coffee and cakes. Generous portions, tasty good quality food and the hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict is lovely. Has a nice ambience with chesterfield sofas, old wood floors and a traditional (but not working) jukebox plus lots of 50s etc objects on the walls. Clientele is a pleasant mix of bikers, locals and students which somehow works. Staff are helpful, friendly and happy.

Had a breakfast here £7.50 with a hot drink sadly coffee machine was broken so had tea not a good start. VERY greasy breakfast swimming in oil I left most of it as it was all coated in nasty tasting oil. Very low quality ingredients sausage and bacon very poor indeed. Darkish interior and loud music more like a bar to be honest. Friendly waitress but the chef has no idea a bit like a truckers lay-by breakfast cafe on a bad day. Good toast that’s about it won’t be going back soon. Not good value at all very disappointed.

Called in today while in York. Usual warm welcome from the two young ladies in the cafe. Ordered our food and drinks , all cooked fresh , which arrived quickly. The quality of food and service was excellent. Then spent time looking at the bikes in the showroom. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. 😊

Went yesterday & waited 50 minutes for 2 rounds of toast! Wouldn't mind if it was busy it it wasn't. It's a basic cafe charging NOT basic prices. The bike shop however is FANTASTIC. Wendy

We were looking at motorbikes in the triumph shop next door and thought we would have a latte. Unfortunately the coffee is the worst I have ever tasted and at £2.60 a cup, dont waste your money!

Called in here with my son as we were early for an appointment, we had a lovely latte, tea and spiced t-cake with proper butter. The décor is unusual and not many tables available if eating a proper meal, but the sofas are very comfortable.

I work in student accommodation and had a busy shift so needed a good lunch and that's what I got really enjoyed my cheeseburger and the chips were nice to. Definitely recommend

The cafe joins onto a motorcycle dealer. The decor is nice. Food was a little greasy, otherwise nicely prepare.

I almost always stop into the cafe when visiting the bike shop for various reasons, or even just when passing and feeling peckish. Really good honest food, and prices are okay(for a city).

Very nice burgers and chips. Can be a bit cold in the café as the doors are open through to the showroom. If you like motorbikes (and the smell of them when you are eating) its definitely worth a trip when you are hungry. Bacon Butties are good too (I wish they did a 'large')

Lovely cafe furnished with gorgeous chesterfield sofas. Very friendly staff and the best coffee in town. The food is freshly cooked. I'd like to see more specials as they are not always on.

This place can be a lil hit and miss, though I would say more hit. We call in pretty frequently and most of the time leave happy. They can't fry an egg to save their lives ( always burnt on the bottom ) and the bacon is a greasy failure but they don't pretend it's gonna be better than it is. You definitely get what you pay for here, not the amazing quality but the guys are friendly, what they get right is really nice and what they get wrong is still perfectly edible. I would say truckstop quality, not amazing but it fills you up. The drinks are all perfectly fine, average, nothing amazing. As is most of the menu that I've tried. It's all ok - just nothing special. Definitely not a reason to miss it unless you really don't like burnt eggs. The cakes and scones etc are very hit and miss with the gluten free options in particular very much being a miss, very dry and barely edible efforts. I wouldn't bother with these.

Cosy place. Good service. Fresh and sunny atmosphere. At the corner of a busy intersection, yet offers solitude in very comfortable leather sofa corners. Reasonably priced foods and drinks.

Just visited. We had a lovely chilli chicken panini. It came with fresh homemade coleslaw and a mixed salad. Loved it. Excellent value for money . Will defo be back next time we are in the triumphs sales room next door .

Follow-up visit after my bad experience and café has good service now. Recommended because the service has speeded-up and communication issues between staff must have been addressed.

Beautiful place in york, greit service.

This 'cafeé' if that's what you would call it was a complete disaster after I mistakenly decided to call in for a snack. This is indicative of York in general - when it comes to tardy, 'take it or leave' it customer services in the small eatery sector. I walk in, nobody at the order taking counter, somebody appears with a thousand yard stare and in an obvious distracted hurry to begin her lunch break. I order a complex a la carte mug of tea with beans on toast. I find myself a table and sit down and wait and wait and wait....thirty minutes later I approach the new person on duty and my meal is prepared. There was ONE other customer in the establishment. This place beggars belief.

Not at all what I expected inside! Beautiful leather sofas and a really cool atmosphere. We dropped in for takeaway breakfast sandwiches which were reasonably priced and just the ticket.

I'm a regular user of this Cafe and always greeted with a warm welcome. Great food of a very high quality at a very reasonable price. Attached to a fantastic motorcycle showroom filled with nostalgia for the old and inspiration for the young. All round a great place and well worth a visit

As the guy said below, place has gone to greed. Breakfast used to be amazing here, and very good value, 5.50 for a small breakfast now and wow is it small. One sausage, one egg, one bacon one hash brown, and one toast!! Mental!! Won't be back. Staff are very nice though.

Was good before greed took over. Two big construction jobs nearby ......prices jumped by 50p across the board. Recent 3 day clean and spruce up after which no boots allowed, prices up by another £1 and smaller portions. Total greed. Construction jobs closing soon .................wonder how they will get on then?

Nice relaxing place to grab some food, the coffee is spot on as is the service. Defo be back again, prices are very good.

Excellent food , great service , and good value

A real gem, and not just for bikers; although Cafe Moto is attached to Yorks Triumph Motorcycle dealership, you don't need to love two wheeled transit to eat here. The staff are wonderfully welcoming, the coffee is good and the food is surprisingly well done. Price wise, it's a real bargain. They have filled the space with old red chesterfield sofas, so it has a really comfortable vibe going on. Fast and free wifi seals the deal. Highly recommended.

Great café right next to A1 Triumph

I was at an event in the nearby York Barbican and wanted to find a cafe within walking distance- Cafe Moto was an excellent choice. They did a toasted ciabatta with salad, coleslaw and a hot drink for a fiver. The staff were really friendly and the cafe was very comfortable. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

can't think of a bad thing to say about this place, it gets my full approval and you would not be disappointed in any respect.
