Haute Dolci in Leicester

Fantastic food and service Will definitely be back , the deserts and milkshakes were delicious. Two of us had the burgers and my son had the breakfast . Could not fault a thing and I must say I am an awkward person for going out to eat.

We hadn’t booked but managed to get a table, and were lucky enough to sit in the birdcage & roses side room. The service was excellent, really warm and welcoming, especially Rasha who was fantastic, and the desserts were delicious! It was also our wedding anniversary and they made it extra special. Definitely recommend.

They have good food , yummy desserts specifically she cant refuse ✔️ They have good waiters Bercha was helping us a lot today

I recently visited Haute Dolci to enjoy some quality time with a friend, and it was my inaugural experience at this establishment. The restaurant boasts a serene and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing dining experience. I was particularly impressed by the impeccable service delivered by the staff. From the warm welcome to the prompt seating, we were provided with top-notch customer service throughout our visit. Additionally, the food surpassed expectations with its exceptional taste, presentation, and timely delivery, earning a perfect rating of 100/100 in all aspects of service. We opted for the brunch menu and were thoroughly satisfied with our selection. I look forward to returning to explore more of their offerings, including their desserts. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future.

This is one of the best go to restaurants I would recommend.This is the 3rd time I'm visiting this restaurant and the taste, the ambience, the atmosphere is at top notch. I took my friend this time to celebrate his birthday and he was in love with the ambience and the friendly approach of the manager Barsha and the staffs response is too lovely. We sat in the private dining room and it gave us an elegant vibe. We tried some new dishes yesterday and that's awesome. Their hygiene levels are beyond the standards. Finally I would say that this is one of the best restaurants in Leicester till date.

I used to absolutely loved Haute Dolci. I’m a loyal customer who has been going to their restaurant for years now. I feel like recently the Leicester Haute Dolci has really gone downhill over the last year or so. The service is awful and there is no organisation or communication between the staff. I had booked the Dear Mum brunch package for my mum’s birthday weekend and Mother’s Day. I arrived on time and was seated and waited for my family. I told the staff member twice that we were on the ‘Dear Mum Brunch Package’. They gave us normal menus when we sat down. When my family arrived, they sat down and I had a rough idea about what was included so told them and we chose what we wanted to order. Our order was taken 30 minutes later and I asked what was included in the brunch package. The lady, confused asked us to clarify that we were on the dear mum package. I said ‘yes, we are on the brunch package’. She went and got us set menus and let us look. We saw the set menus were for the dessert packs and had no brunch options on them. I had to go up again and ask for brunch menus. Only then did we get the correct menus. After waiting another 20 minutes, our orders were taken. My mum can’t eat carbs so asked if she could take the shakshuka at an extra cost or switch the sandwiches for a salad with the same fillings to which they replied saying they were unable to. Every other restaurant is able to accommodate this as all she’s asking for is no bread and extra salad. We had to order an additional shakshuka. When placing the order, the tablet crashed so we had to place our order again which took another 10 minutes. We understand this was not the lady’s fault. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out. In this time, our drinks hadn’t been served and the staff were taking phone calls on their phones whilst collecting plates from other tables in the middle of the restaurant which was extremely unprofessional. I had booked an activity for my mum and due to the time taken for the food to come out, it was cutting it very close. Eventually our food came out. The food was good but not worth waiting almost 1 hour 30 mins for. We ate and I had to ask the lady for the letter as it was cutting it very close to our time for the activity. We went to pay the bill and my mum has a haute key (gift card) which she has been trying to activate for months. She asked for assistance activating it and the lady suggested downloading the app, to which my mum replied the registration on the app doesn’t work. We tried to help my mum through the process and as we knew, an error came up as she tried to register her card. The lady offered no help whatsoever and said to try again next time. We’ve tried this so many times and it’s always caused issues and we’ve had no help from the staff ever with regards to this. It’s £20 which will go wasted. By this point we had already missed our activity slot. There was no apology from the staff for the delays and misunderstandings during the time. It was so unprofessional and really disappointing as it was a special day I had planned for my mum. The least I expected was an apology if not some kind of compensation. We spent £100+ across 5 people for small portions and disorganised service. We had to reschedule the activity onto a different day and I was on the verge of tears as my mum’s birthday had been ruined. I will never be going back to Haute Dolci Leicester again. That’s a loyal customer lost for sure.

Service has really gone downhill will not be visiting again. I visited with my husband last night and we asked if we could sit at the side table, the short Indian waitress says she’s saving the table for bigger groups, which is fair enough. So we sat at a table with two chairs, right in the middle of a birthday party and a family with children on either side of us. As we were about to order we noticed that two young girls were put on the table that we had originally asked for. When we asked the waitress about that she resorted to blaming her colleagues and saying “they don’t know what they are doing” and they shouldn’t have put two people in that place it’s for bigger families… completely unprofessional. You don’t blame colleagues in front of customers, we then saw her walk up to the other waitress and started telling her off for putting two girls on that table. Bear in mind, the place was getting full so there was nowhere else for those two girls to go. It seems to me that the short Indian waitress had completely made up a lie about putting bigger groups in that booth, and eventually moved us to a booth when we told her about two girls being put in a booth. The night was a total shambles. Place needs new management because the manager looked completely out of his depth and had no idea what he was doing, this is the reason why the waitresses are doing whatever they think they can and upsetting Customers.

Booked a table for mother's day, on arrival they couldn't find the reservation dispute is having the confirmation. Service very slow and un-attentive, food came out for everyone slowly over a half hour period so most of us finished food by the time the last plate came out. Staff never checked to see if we were enjoying the food or whether we needed anything. Food was okay. Shame we thought it would be a nice place for mother's day treat.

The deserts were really nice, I had gluten free brownies and macarons. The coffee could be better but for a dessert shop, the coffee is definitely the best I’ve had. Rodrigo was super helpful and made the trip even sweeter. He’s your go to for the hidden gems around Leicester. Thank you Rodrigo and the management for making our trip so memorable.

Great service and atmosphere. Thahira was amazing and made us feel really welcome. My 8 year old absolutely loved it.

We went to HD as a couple before going to the theatre. We don’t get out much as we have young children so this was a real treat. Given the branch opened quite a few years ago we were expecting to see some wear and tear so were very surprised that it all looked new. We ordered burgers and fries as well as mocktails. The price is not cheap but I would say that every item we ordered was not only beautifully presented but perfectly balanced and delicious. I don’t know how the chefs manage to get the food all so consistently good, it all seemed like it had just been cooked and brought out straight away. It must take a lot of organisation and precision. The staff also went out of their way to be welcoming and made the visit really special. Hope we can go again to sample the desserts. Thank you very much.

This was first time for us in Haute Dolci Leicester. Normally we go to Harrow. The decor was beautiful & so was the service. Rasha was brilliant. She was very attentive to our order😊 Although the toilets were very nice, they were very dirty & one of the tap was broken, one of the sink was full of dirty water. Overall a good experience
