Haute Dolci in Leicester

I absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was incredibly charming and the aesthetics were stunning. The food was a perfect 10/10. The kunafa croffle was the best thing I’ve ever had! It was freshly made, warm and absolutely delightful. I’m a huge kunafa fan it was exceptional in here and the ice cream added the perfect touch. I also loved the mint lemonade, it was so refreshing. I visited with my friends and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The dessert is perfect / excellent. The saad who served has delivered a good service . Must try Lotus Biscoff.

Delicious food, a large selection, delicious desserts. Eyes would eat, but belly full 😉 If you have patience, I recommend it. The waiting time is very, very long! It shouldn't be like that, it discourages you from coming back again. It was empty when I was there in the morning and breakfast with dessert took over an hour and a half!Service to be replaced or there is not enough of it.

The experience and service is good. The foods and shakes are very good except strawberry cheesecake.

A super polite welcome, but the waiting time is too long, the food is good but I gave it 2 stars because they made us pay extra for an activity that I never asked for. Be careful, if you don't want to pay extra fees, I don't recommend it.

Alisha was ever so lovely and the manager, Sayem, and the stuff entertained my baby through out. The atmosphere was 10/10. Best believe we will be back. The hour drive was definitely worth it. Fast service tooo

We ordered desserts for the whole family which included waffles, hot cookie dough and ice cream. Every item we ordered was delicious and divine! Big thanks to Alisha who gave us amazing service! We will definitely be coming back soon!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service my party and I received during our recent visit to Haute Dolce in Leicestershire. Specifically, I would like to address the unprofessional and discourteous conduct exhibited by a staff member named Naveed. A group of five of us visited your establishment with the expectation of enjoying a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our interaction with Naveed was far from what one would anticipate from a reputable venue such as Haute Dolce. During our visit, we requested tap water for our table, a standard and reasonable request in any hospitality setting. To our surprise, Naveed flatly refused, stating that your establishment does not provide tap water. This response was not only baffling but also felt dismissive and unreasonable. It is common knowledge that all dining establishments are legally required to provide access to free tap water upon request. When we questioned this refusal, Naveed’s attitude came across as rude and arrogant. Rather than attempting to address our concerns politely or offer a reasonable explanation, he displayed a lack of professionalism and seemed unwilling to engage with us in a respectful manner. We felt pressured into purchasing bottled water at an inflated price of £4 per bottle, which left us feeling both frustrated and disappointed. The role of customer service staff is to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued, but instead, Naveed’s demeanor made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Exceptional service is often what distinguishes a great dining experience from an ordinary one, and unfortunately, Naveed’s approach fell far short of these expectations. I trust that Holt Dolce prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. This incident, however, does not align with those values, and it raises concerns about staff training and customer care standards within your establishment. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter thoroughly and address the issue with Naveed to ensure no other patrons have a similar experience. Additionally, I would be grateful if you could clarify your establishment’s policy regarding the provision of tap water, as this situation has caused unnecessary confusion and dissatisfaction. I look forward to receiving a response outlining the steps you plan to take to address this issue. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Think the servers name was Naveed, avoid at all COSTS!! he tried spitting in my food and he didn’t give me any fresh water!

Our meal was spoiled by the waiter refusing to serve tap water and insisted only bottled water was available. Shame as the food was nice but this tarnished the whole experience. Waiters were not particularly friendly either.

Had a fantastic experience at Haute Dolci, where the delicious desserts and rich coffee were matched only by the warm and attentive service from Amani, who made our visit extra special!

HD is always very reliable, the go-to place in Leicester town centre. Amani was excellent as always, hugely appreciative of her kind service!

Came here for a lunch with a friend, saw on instagram an advertisement about a student meal deal. Went there, the waiter had no idea what deal I was talking about and said they can't input student discount, waiter was late to the table multiple times, not once was I asked about the quality of the food, severely understaffed, sat waiting for more than 40 minutes for food. Nice waiters, just not very fast. In the past, all the dishes are removed when finishing eating and moving on to desert, this time the waiter put down a desert menu and did not take the plates. Severely disappointed as it was once a finer establishment.

Service is very poor, staff members are disorganised and werent able to tell which customer was waiting before. We sat down on a table and the staff and manager came to inform us that we needed to go back and wait at the waiting area again. Apparently they had a customer before who was waiting. This didnt make any sense because when we were waiting by the entrance there was no one there to serve us. I had to ask a member of staff to assist, and they helped us to get a table ready. Manager got so rude and kept over talking when we tried to explain to him what the situation. I dont know why they also had a service charge here at this place, this place does not deserve the extra tip. Staff are rude, and lack customer service training. Me and my friends walked out because of the manager attitude.

A celebratory dessert meal for my sister's birthday. I ordered the classic fudge cake with ice cream. It was very chocolatey, probably a bit too much, but it was delicious. I liked the presentation of it and the decor of the building itself. It was a great way to end the night. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an upscale dessert shop.

This was such an awful service and experience. The waiter was so engrossed with his phone texting and no one came to our table for 40 mins until I walked up and asked if we could order (please check camera n timing)! It was empty so I don’t understand the delay in service The food arrived and they have really good selection of meals and presentation was 10/10 including the drinks! However they forgot to put blue cheese and it was a comical moment watching the chef run to buy blue cheese (talk about local sourced ingredients) but I just say the burger was just as good. Food and drink very good though at this point we were so annoyed we just ate just to get out n go home. Service 0/10 very terrible experience. And not even an apology for the delay in getting our order or clearing our plates before the desserts arrived it was just a horrible experience and a waste of time travelling to Leicester to experience such a poor service.

The desserts are amazing! The portions are the right size and everything is the perfect amount of sweetness. My favourite is definitely the milk cake and the Spanish latte. The prices are good for the taste and the quality of service :) Been here a few times and will definitely come back again and thank you to our waiters Assiam for the pleasant service

Fresh strawbewwies with yummy cream make a perfect wittle treat. Together, they make a suuuuper yummy dessert time! 💖
