Haute Dolci in Leicester

Beautiful place and friendly service. We went with a group and tried a couple of desserts which were really good and for a decent price. Will definitely come back!

Desserts were nice but that’s about it. Service is really poor and we had to wait for ages. To top the rubbish service off we charged a SERVICE CHARGE which we were not made aware of, we only noticed this on our bill once we’d left. Very sneaky! Considering it was a rubbish service.

It was very good especially for the general prices of the food. The waiter came and asked us if we needed water and the service was really good.

I would like to also give a shout out to Suvana who took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The desserts were great! We all loved it. Updated: my concern regarding your reply about my son, in which we were unjustly blamed. I would like to clarify that on the day in question, my son consumed only homemade food, and we visited your restaurant only for dessert, not for a full meal. Therefore, I find it unacceptable that such an accusation was made. This matter is deeply troubling, and as parents, we take it very seriously. You people drag us to take action through law. we may be forced to consider legal action to protect our rights. We visited this restaurant on 6 Oct. we ordered gluten free waffles for my son, who has a diagnosed gluten allergy. Unfortunately, after consuming the meal, he experienced a severe allergic reaction, including rashes all over his body, followed by vomiting and diarrhoea. This is such a shame.

After not being here for over a year I was looking forwards to my visit, unfortunately I was extremely disappointed, the place was very empty yet I was sat waiting for a table for 30mins, the staff were so unbothered and had attitude and were rude, I would give zero star for service if I could, there was no music playing for such a large restaurant which absolutely killed the vibe for a ‘luxury dessert’ place, and on top of that our desserts came out to our table at different times, I had finished my dessert by the time others on my table got their dessert and the waiter was serving a mixture of dessert from my table and another tables both at the same time so was getting mixed up giving us desserts from a different table. There desserts were poorly made being very stingy on toppings I pretty much ate a plain waffle . And to top it off the toilets were absolutely vile! Will not be going there again!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Haute Dolci, and what an experience it was! The atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting, especially in their exclusive "Rose Room." Tucked away from the main dining area, the Rose Room offers a cozy and intimate setting, perfect for those seeking a more private dining experience. The elegant décor, adorned with soft pink hues and subtle floral touches, sets a relaxing yet luxurious tone. The gourmet burgers were amazing, the attention to detail in every dish was evident, and the desserts further elevated the experience. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for beautiful food in a beautiful setting.

Over an hour wait for A SALAD. Waiter came up to us and informed us that she will check on our food and get back to us. No one got back to us, we had the waiter again and was informed that there is a delay. Food came no apologies about wait.

Beautiful Experience @ Haute Dolci, the waitress girl who brought me my raspberries was Awesome .. So she received the table tip as we had 3 different waiting staff visit our table during our first time @ Haute Dolci .. Lovely Decor, but thats about it. Went in last Sunday, the waitress saw us walked away & then came back with the moodiest face i’ve ever seen. Food took absolutely ages for a simple cake & sundae. We saw the deserts ready & just say there until we noticed one of the servers get up & ask one of the staff to go and take it to our table. Desert was nice, but the overall feel inside was very very underwhelming. Even if the service was average we wouldnt have minded but the reason for this review is for management as it seemed the manager of the restaurant was just sat there, on his laptop. No sense of care, or anything. Wasnt busy either & yet it felt like the customers were second priority and having chats with each other was more important than their JOB? My wife ordered a sundae, & wasnt given a spoon… she waited a minute to see if anyone was coming to bring it… but she ended up getting up & walking to a set table & taking it from there as there was no one around. (Minus manager (man in the suit) but he was in his own world, no care in the world 😂 This definitely let it down for us, even going to pay, we had to wait for the staff to finish their conversation or whatever they were doing, it’s like everything has just been flipped & it’s the customers that. It’s a great shame but definitely wont be coming back, location is ok but parking is not so much.

Very ambient and beautiful place to dine in. The receptionist was very nice. It didn't take long to get our food once ordered but food came with a strand of hair in my husband's waffles. We reported it and it was changed immediately. I ordered crepes and that took forever to come. Apologies were rendered for the hair strand but we just can't get it out of our heads. Hopefully things will be put in place to prevent this from happening again
