Having read some rather poor reviews I decided to visit again after an interval of a few months, Although it is very expensive the food I had was excellent, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, helping carry my tray. Possibly I had a good experience as I was early on a Saturday morning. I was also able to join WiFi which a previous reviewer had not been able to do. My only criticism was that the table was sticky as previous reviewers had mentioned.

Can no longer use their restaurant, to often too slow to replace exhausted hot plate and carvery stock. Also serving up virtually raw beef and slightly undercooked gammon which i believe is only liked by a tiny majority of people. Should also be 3 meats in a carvery.

Enjoy the store very much, unfortunately not so the restaurant, just a basic sandwich or roll is all that is required for many people at lunch time. I certainly didn't want my ham and cheese toastie smothered in mustard........I hate it! My friends bacon in her toastie was very fatty. Added to which it is very expensive!!

Always worth a visit lots of interesting items to view and buy and large garden centre, great cafe and restaurant, always busy, Hobbycraft located next to Haskins, easy to find just off Junction 7, M27, then take turning towards West End They have definitely upped their game in the restaurant. We had rare roast beef on sourdough bread and to finish a Dorset apple cake wedge with a latte, which was slightly disappointing, my relation had a black Americano Visited again Sunday. If anything, it was even more impressive We went for the rare roast on sourdough bread Plus , a wedge of Toffee Apple Dorset Cake Nearly succumbed to a georgous Sunday roast Maybe something for the later in the year, nearer to the holiday season

It seems a little strange that a person would visit Haskins Garden Centre and merely comment on the delicious cake...fabulose as it is. However be assured there is so much more to see and indeed buy.The plants are healthy and they are worth the money...just.The staff in the cafe are engaging and good at their job.The checkout staff are helpful and convivial...and the customer service staff are pleasantly distant and amusingly...and mildly acidic.Enjoy the cake and enjoy the experience...I did...and I will again.

We git to the end of the food service, after waiting 5 minutes, to order coffee and to pay (no other til was open) the lady then priceeded to put away clean glasses, clear rubbish from around the till and put away clean cups, by this time, we'd been waiting 10 minutes armed with hubby's cooked breakfast which by the time we got yo our table, was almost cold. Yes there's a microwave but, did he really come here for a reheated breakfast, no! Tge toast was nit toasted well, it was more like warm bread! My eggs benedict was "ok", so flooded in cold bernese sauce that the poached eggs were cold

Restaurant was awful. Severs miserable as hell, food was cold by the time we'd go it to table due to the lack of staff at the till. Bacon was hard, black pudding was overdone, tomato wasn't cooked properly. Considering they've increased the price of the breakfast yet again its not wroth coming here any more really. The selection of plants in store was quite poor especially the Bonsai trees which were dry and dying, not worth the price shown either. Will go elsewhere as the store is not that good and has gone downhill very rapidly, the manage should be sacked really for such a poorly run store.

If you order hot food it’s warm by the time you get to eat it. No urgency from some staff. Tables are never cleared on time, often a struggle at wkds to find a clean empty one without loads of crockery and spilt food. Very unkempt and scruffy eating area.
