Many thanks to Lisa who was wonderful. Excellent food and service. Lisa was so kind and patient with the children. Good value for money also with lunchtime deal and kids menu.

Excellent service from start to finish. Always enjoy our visit to this Harvester.

Dreadful experience from start to finish. Started with a young boy pointing to a table for us to go, only to hear other members of staff telling him not to do that so we were left awkwardly standing in the middle of the restaurant. Took 30 minutes for get a drinks order taken, Another 30 minutes for a meal order then a further 30 minutes to have plates taken away with staff standing staring whilst prioritising cleaning the same salad bar tray 3 times over. Highly overpriced for the service we received

Shared a mother's day treat with my wife and family. We enjoyed this experience.

The Harvester was always our go to place for breakfast until our last visit which was very disappointing. They have changed the unlimited breakfast to the ultimate breakfast which would be good if you liked all the items given. You are allowed to take items off the plate but not allowed to substitute the removed items with something else which is pretty unfair seeing as the black pudding is absolutely disgusting, so basically you are still paying £9.99 for a breakfast with or without what is offered. Sorry but The Lee Burn is now our go to place for breakfast, unlimited cooked breakfast and free continental for the same price.

Had a fabulous night in the Harvester. The service was friendly and the food was great value for money. Maria and Karen served us in the bar and they were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Please do not go for the rice. It’s frozen and reheated and came to our plate with the label of the factory on 😱😱😱We told the management but never offered a refund

Been 3 times lately, and it just gets progressively worse each time. Food is a joke. Salad bar is always empty. Their fryers clearly need to be cleaned as there are black bits all over the chips. Staff seem like the old Mary Jane more than working. My 4 year old loves it, and her food has always been spot on. She loves the DIY desert. Credit where its due for that but the rest of it is unacceptable, and I really hope I don't have to go back.

Don't know what's happened to this place. Haven't been in for awhile I've literally just walked out. Waited 20 mins, no drinks, no salad bowl given, even though I asked after 10 mins..was then told they didn't have what I ordered. The service is atrocious.

Very happy with the service given here. One of our party has many allergies, which can often cause problems when eating out, but Lisa Mcmillan was very helpful and made the process pleasant. She really seemed happy to help in any way she could. In fact all of the staff we encountered tonight were helpful.

The waiter was exceptional he made the visit tbh. Nice cheery young tall lad with light brownish hair, good brunch very tasty I had the chicken and bacon waffles and my pal had a breakfast.

This is the 2nd time we have used Fuzzy Eds for my 2 daughter's birthday parties and again we had the best time and had family and friends saying it was such a lovely relaxed experience. Sophie was great as I wasn't feeling very well and she made sure everyone was happy. Took the pressure off of me. Will definitely be booking again! Thanks again 😊

Quality of food was good and service was excellent.

We stayed for four nights over New Year but not New Year´s Eve. Toilets were a bit grubby and the building is rather unkempt and rundown but the restaurant and staff were very good. They ran out of chicken on 2 different days which was unfortunate. The lighting is very dark, I found that annoying as I struggled to read the menu. The breakfast menu food was exceptional on all the days we ate there. More pros than cons and would go back as my daughter lives nearby. Overall no problems.

Shocking food shocking service understaffed for christmas eve tables were not even set properly no body seemed to know wat they were doing ordered a steak wen it came it was cold sent it back come back still cold!! One of our party ordered small plates 1 was macaroni none available they took the pasta from the cold salad bar and put some grated cheese on it wat kind of chef is in here never ever be back

Booked this in October for all family. We felt it be a good choice as our youngest not great in restaurants, so as it says family friendly! One hour and a half two drink order while awaiting starters. Then asked to reorder starters twice as out of stock, then reduced to watered down tomatoe soup, disgusting starter of microwaved mushrooms in sweat, covered in burnt cheese! We decided to leave when we were told there was no cranberry sauce for Xmas dinners or prawn cocktails after waiting in two! The service was atrocious, told a new start( at Christmas?) even when complained as £50 deposit, was refused return of any money! despite the inconvenience of not being able to go else where, as it is Boxing Day every where full !! Now all in the house waiting on Indian!!! Merry Christmas NOT at Harvester!

Had my daughters birthday party here, felt like I did a lot of the work, staff member said she couldn’t managed to take down the kids orders so I had to go around & get them all 18 kids. Were no tables when we arrived, none reserved. Sorted it with manager. Food service was great & nice staff. Booked at paid the £9.99pp packages. Not cookies or sweets were given to the kids as it was included in the package. Thankfully made our own party bag.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast with Santa here this morning. Myself and a group of friends have done this for a few years now where you have a private meet with Santa, a photo opportunity and each child is given a goodie bag with reindeer dust and chocolate. Our Santa was lovely and patient. He even remembered our children's name which was a lovely touch. To finish off, you get a lovely breakfast at a reasonable price too. We will be back again next year

Just a meal for two, very relaxed atmosphere. Great service, delicious food at very reasonable prices. Pork belly with barbecue sauce was fantastic and burger with pulled pork was tender and delicious. Chocolate fudge cake and lemon frizzle at least I think that's what it was called were both really good.

Food was alright but a little overdone. Service was very slow too.

Normally you don’t have any complaints but last night wasn’t up to your usual high standards A wee bit to wait getting our starter and dessert also again surprisingly the salad bar wasn’t as stalked as normal. Luckily I was wanting a big plate Also as a general suggestion I believe that cherry or baby plum tomatoes would be better than normal quartered tomatoes. I can see that this could be a cost issue but would also mean less work for kitchen stadd

Came this evening for my daughter's birthday and the service was fantastic. Danielle served our table and she was so welcoming and helpful, and great with kids. Great family place and the softplay is great too. Food is great and can't get enough of the salad bar so great if you want a healthy option.

Went for breakfast this morning (19/11) and had an excellent experience. Party of 2. Amazing food. Warm, friendly and relaxing. Definitely recommended for family breakfast. Special mention for Laura who made our visit memorable thanks to her being soooo nice.

Anniversary Dinner gone wrong Came in with the family and the service we received was beyond trying to find words. Our table was set for us and the server blonde lady came to take our drink order and I asked for 5 refillable and we got asked about 10 questions do you want ice or not full fat or diet we have never been asked before, she then took our order and my husband made an amendment to his order is he hates chicken on the bone we asked for extra cajun instead then she asked me again at the ice machine and I explained again cajun, after she took the food order we had to go to the bar and ask for our salad bowls as she forgot to give them to us and then we got the salad and some of the pasta was frozen. After we got our food took a while for them to check if all was ok. It took ages for our plates to get cleared and then we asked for dessert, got the menu flung onto the table and not even 2 seconds later do you know what you want, give us time to look at the menu don't force your customer to make a choice there and then. While we were sitting there I noticed that the server was still in training and 3 other members of staff were standing there watching her and doing nothing to help her this is not a good standard of training for a new member of staff (coming from someone who works in hospitality). Me, my husband and son were all ill last night which we think was the pasta as it was still frozen, Bad experience for an anniversary meal with the family won't be back ​​​​​​​​​​

Great atmosphere, excellent food

Variable food and service on each visit, sometimes better than others. Last visit food was served slowly and arrived low temperature. Previous visit food and service were fantastic…..disappointed and probably wouldn’t go back after last experience.

The attention of the staff was fantastic and food was amazing

Dani was super on this visit, nothing was an issue, she was very friendly and attentive, spotting when we required refills on our drinks etc.

We stayed in the Premier Inn next door and this was great for drinking with a friendly reception from locals playing pool. A real Pub atmosphere! However we found the Harvester menu rather lacking as well as being expensive. After having steaks the first night, we were not inspired on the second night to order anything. Some home staples like a curry, shepherd's pie, chilli, spag bol, pie and chips etc., would have been nice to have on the menu.

No gluten free items marked on menu and we were told that they had no GF bread. Yoghurt cup was really disappointing - yoghurt was flavoured, no banana, topping not crunchy, minimal if any berry sauce and very small portion - not worth the money.

We came as a table of 20 for a birthday tonight, we had Danielle serving us at our table. Would highly recommend and so pleased with how helpful and friendly Danielle was the full time we were there. Always had a smile on her face and was really helpful with changes to dishes etc and she also took the time to chat to us throughout the night. We enjoyed it that much that we have booked to come back again as a large party for another birthday, and hopeful that Danielle will be serving us again 😊

Was here tonight for a birthday meal with 20 people had dani as a host and she went way above and beyond and we will defo be returning again another booking in place for December upon leaving xxxx

Our Server Laura was fantastic, Smiling and happy to help, nothing was a drama. Food was good and cooked the way I asked. Always a winner with the salad bar here and with the refillable soft drinks. Will be back in the not to distant future.

Biggest (only) problem is that breakfast service only starts at 0900, Monday to Friday. Given this particular Harvester largely serves as a restaurant for the Premier Inn on the same site, 0900 is simply too late for Breakfast to start. It should be 0630 or 0700 at the latest.

Service was slow. did not have everything we asked for and staff were too busy with other things rather than serving customers apart from that the food. Was

Our server Sammy was lovely and very friendly and chatty.the kids loved it and have asked to come back.

Our server was great, very attentive and friendly. Other staff member was lovely too when our original server was busy with another table and helped us out until he came back as my 6 year old was getting impatient. The teamwork was great to see. Food was lovely, good portions and not too heavy. Dessert was great too, won the seal of approval from our child who announced she would be back! Thanks again.

Waitress Lesley Anne was lovely she welcomed us as if we were at a party at her house. I noticed that she did this with everyone despite being incredibly busy. The chicken gougons are gorgeous and the chocolate brownie Sunday is scrumptious.

Great food (recommend the 4 plate starter option for a small family to share), attentive & lovely staff and relaxed comfortable ambience. Decent value too considering the good portion size. Recommended.

Third visit in last few days. Staff and food excellent. Wouldn't hestiate to use this establishment. Lesley Anne was particularly helpfull and attentive.

Staff the best nothing too much trouble. Very friendly. My sister and I coming back to East kilbride in October and will definately be eating in the harvester. Hopefully we will have shed the extra pounds put on by the temptation of your delicious sweets. Val and Annette. From lancashire.

Second time eating here today ate here this morning and it was fantastic huge plateful of delicious food and exactly the same experience thus evening when having dinner, staff are friendly and welcoming.

The harvester has great memories for my husband and I for just popping in for a quick bite and some drinks as we use to live round the corner (pre covid and pre children). Now we pop in with the kids and never fails to disappoint. Staff are friendly, great service and the food is delicious with a great selection. I treated myself to a massive sundae but they do a small cake n coffee for a great price 😊 Thanks for a lovely mid week meal once again.😁 Breakfast still has to be my favourite xxx

Well a was there 30 th for drinks and a don’t believe a was served the approved volume of alcohol asked the staff who are innocent but a have been a landlady a would never use two optics for one drink!!! What you think? !!!is the norm?? They were Not busy !!!

Went there this evening. 19.01.22. Food was good salad nice n fresh. No bread rolls though. However, what stood out was the young lad who seemed to be everywhere, doing everything - with a friendly word from start to finish. All the staff were hard working but this chap was something else. Sadly, didn’t catch his name.
