Harvest Barn Farmshop & Coffee Shop in Huntingdonshire

I pop over to meet friends and chat over breakfast. These are varied and acceptably priced. Nice ambience and lovely staff. I've not looked at the shop area but it looks as if it sells a wide range of goods and produce.

Very disappointed. We came from Bourne for the Easter fun day that was advertised, and there was absolutely nothing that was promised. No egg hunt, no inflatables, or activities. Total waste of time.

Had a breakfast there, not for the first time. Excellent quality of food. The kids enjoy the outside play area. Only downside was they ran out of the bigger sausage's and we ended up with chipolata size ones.

I regularly bring my three children here and sit with a coffee whilst they play, feed and see the animals. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sue and Ashley helped arrange and set up for my sisters baby shower here. Thank you!

I called in Harvest Barn and purchased some expensive ‘Cambridge Confectionery Co’ giant white chocolate buttons…..,I have to concede they tasted rubbish, bland, tasteless , and with hindsight I should have driven to NISA and bought a Nestle Milky Bar - better tasting and considerably cheaper. The ‘Harvest Barn’ branded chocolate raisins were not very good either. Never mind.

Booked lunch for my husbands birthday today and had an amazing time. Staff were so helpful and accommodating (special thank you to Hannah for cutting our cake and being really fantastic). Also Keira and assistant manager Sue who were also brilliant! We loved the variety on the menu, the tasty quality food, lovely clean facilities. Kids loved the play area and feeding the animals. Such an excellent visit, thank you to the staff for making it a really comfortable experience.

Visiting sister and advised us of this place and wow, first class. Cafeteria very good. Good value. First class range of cottage industry food products. So we bought several items. SUE on the Till, the admin , I believe was very helpful. Certainly recommend for that coffee break as well. Will be back.

Lovely home made steak pie. Exceptional amount of lovely tender steak in a crunchy crust. Served with fresh vegetables, chips and gravy.

Served in the cafe today by Kira. We had latte's & dinner. Super as always but I couldn't eat it all. Happily boxed for me to take away. Along with cake for mum and a cheese twist for me as well. Love to visit this venue. Great shop & last coupla years been baby goats. If u haven't been before, do try, good roasts on a Sunday to.

Food not very appetising...meat tough..no jacket potatoes..pastry on top of pie to hard to eat considering the price I would not be eating there again....very disappointed.

Great country shop and a great place to eat

I often attend Harvest Barn to have a coffee and work from the lovely environment. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. My auntie (Sheryl) does work in the kitchen and she has always recommended coming in to the shop to work from a neutral ground. Excellent service all round. Last year I purchased my first real Christmas Tree from the Harvest Barn, which is still going strong in my garden! I will definitely be purchasing a new one this year :)

On my first visit I ordered a bacon, sausage and mushroom sandwich. My sandwich turned into a bap. The quality of the sausage , well I would not give to a dog. I took one bite and I was covered in grease. I threw it in the bin. Having said this I must say that the lady who took my order was a credit to the shop.

Went to the ‘antique fair’ following a tag from a friend after seeing some pictures on social media we decided to go, and unfortunately the images are extremely misleading using others images to promote a much smaller event than led to believe. Poor.

Sadly, it says dog friendly, but it's not unless you want to sit out the front on the couple of tables next to the car park. ,You lost 2 customers . You need to stipulate no dogs allowed inside. Very disappointed 😞

I was very disappointed in Harvest Barn, this is only the second time I have been in here and would never go again. The coffee shop is big compared to the fresh produce section (if you can call it fresh) and this is the only thing that is keeping this afloat. Very expensive for what they have on offer, I brought some passionfruit curd and this was absolutely disgusting, it had NO taste of passionfruit at all. I have read one of the reviews and the response from the owner which I find very rude and argumentative. Where has the butchers counter gone, this was here when this first opened! There was not a lot of choice when we first went here.

Fantastic fish & chips on Friday plus a hot drink for free. Very friendly staff, would recommend to my friends and family.

Great choices on the menu and cakes, and of course a great breakfast in 2 size portions. Staff always friendly and very efficient.

Delightful place for children, plenty of outside space, even I had a cheeky ride on one of the big swings. Had some cake and cold drinks. It was great fun feeding the goats etc although when you put the 50p in you only seem to get half a cup of animal feed, sure we got more last time we came.

We went to a 3rd birthday party at the back!! Buffet style food was really nice, and there is a small petting park at the back, that the kids loved!!. The member of staff that was allocated to the party was really friendly, and attentive to the needs of the guests!!. Apparently the cost of the event was very reasonably!!

A great little farm with a nice park for the kids and the opportunity to feed the animals. The cafe is great. A nice way to spend an hour or so with a small child.

Unfortunately my jacket potato wasn't very warm, but the filling was lovely and all the meals coming out looked good. Staff were lovely apart from one lady who disappeared off the till - albeit to help a customer with some potatoes, but I felt she could have told me what she was doing, I would've been quite happy to wait.

I was here for a Jubilee afternoon tea, it was quite a good afternoon tea for £14.99. The staff were friendly, polite, welcoming & helpful. They even warmed my scone for me when I asked. They catered for my intolerance too, without question. The small farm shop they have there is fairly well stocked. I liked the fact that I could buy a few different pastries, which were frozen, individually, because I'm on my own I liked being able to buy how many I actually wanted, rather than a big pack that I might not be able to finish. Their fresh produce looked good too. They also sell several lovely gifts.

Customer Service?? I accept that dogs are not allowed, even in the open tented restaurant area, but the owner's(?) attitude when we moved the bench 1 metre into the shade to protect a 6 month baby from the sun was amazing. Apparently the move could restrict wheelchair access (although plenty of space for wheelchairs on the other side of the table and, I would have temporarily moved the table if it really was an issue. The 'how can I not help you' attitude lost this cafe 6 covers for lunchtime when they were not busy and of course all future family visits.

Lacking in toilets for a such a large event such as the jubilee weekend but generally very good.

This is right on my doorstep. I went to buy a cheese scone to takeaway as they are delicious. I also bought a pair of Foster Grant sunglasses for 38p !!!

Always go here to buy sack of spuds, much better quality than supermarket and last for ages. They have a cafe and dehli too and now small petting farm for children. I see they ate also starting car boot sales.

Been here many times and always reviewed the highest quality service. Delicious vegan wraps, burgers and cakes. Lots of vegan snacks in the shop area as well.

I want to say a huge thank you to the Harvest Barn, and Ashley in particular, for ensuring my children had a brilliant birthday party this weekend. After being let down by another venue, I contacted Ashley only a few days before the party date and I was lucky enough to secure the booking. Ashley was incredibly helpful throughout and liaised with me over the phone and WhatsApp, providing buffet menus, pricing and photos of the cabin. Having never been to the Harvest Barn before I didn’t know what to expect, but the cabin was a brilliant size and comfortably seated all 36 children, with additional room for adults. Animal feed and cups were provided, and all the children loved being able to explore the play area and Muddy Boots, despite the rain, which didn’t take anything away from the fun at all. There was plenty of shelter for the adults, along with tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, and the buffet for the children was amazing – freshly prepared sandwiches, cookies, brownies, and homemade sausage rolls, plus lots more! I can’t thank you enough for accommodating us at such short notice, and I will happily recommend the Harvest Barn to anyone looking to book a children’s party in the future. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant and shop is great. Lots of options especially for dietary requirements. Staff are very friendly. The animals are in little pens, you pay to see them and use 50p coins to buy little pots of animal feeds, which they are very enthusiastic to receive! We are a little little to use the play area at the moment but it looked like fun and was being used by other children.

Me and my partner came in yesterday 23/01 for a few bits from the farm shop and had a wrap each and some milkshakes from the cafe! I think it’s safe to say we were both very satisfied with our food and the service! We’ll definitely be coming back in the future, such friendly staff and filling food and drinks! Thank you all who made our visit as good as it was.

had a lovley day today at harvest barn. i had lemon lime and passion fruit cake and a hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows. it was great. my friend rachel had a chocolate jaffa cake and hot chocolate. really good. i phoned my friend when i got back and told him how nice it was and we are going next week for lunch.

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the breakfast with Santa experience today and wanted to give a special mention to the Santa who was fantastic with the children. My son is a chatterbox and he took the time to have a good chat with him. My daughter on the other hand was a bit apprehensive and he didn’t force it and waited until later on when she was a bit more comfortable to engage with her a bit more. Best Santa we’ve come across so please pass on our thanks. The breakfast was delicious and service also good. Overall, it was good value for everything which was included.
