Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff, good layout and stock. You can walk your dogs around the lake (lots of geese so be careful) next to the caravan site or eat your food on the benches there. Please respect wildlife and keep your dogs on a lead if there is any chance of them running off.

Delicious breakfasts, perfectly cooked, at a great price. What more could you ask for? This is a lovely little cafe/tea shop with lots of interesting gifts and foodie treats for sale to browse.

Just been for breakfast, amazing! Good quality ingredients, great portion sizes and such friendly staff. Dog friendly and lots of great finds in the shop too. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

Great little farm shop cafe. But what let it down was the cafe staff . The older guy that was serving was rude, no costumer service skills. Went to order food we’re I was told what do you want as I am busy making drinks. Also to be told that if he had to take food orders from the tables that would be the worst thing for him to be doing today. You had three tables in that is nothing. I can serve many more tables on my own. Looked like a promising place to go but was over priced rude staff. Maybe short staffed but no reason to be rude Not a chance I would visit again

Chester Road
Four of us visited on Bank Holiday Monday having heard really good things about the restaurant. We were very disappointed. The toad in the hole was burnt all the way through. How any self respecting professional chef could allow inedible food the leave their kitchen is beyond me. We also ordered the mix grill but the steak we ordered medium rare was overcooked and tough as old boots. It was also missing the egg which arrived separately on a plate swimming in oil. The very small pieces of bream only came with a handful of chips. Service was poor - we were waiting for 10 minutes for our dessert menus while the staff were chatting behind the bar. It certainly didn't justify the £100+ bill.
