We treated 10 of our club members both male and female who do not see their children as they live too far away to a cream tea with sandwiches. it was great value for money and all our members said that they had a wonderful time . Linda Harcourt the owner was as per usual her jolly happy self and her daughter Gemma was great. the food was marvelous and all who attended said that they would certainly go back their with friends.

Just received my first packet of Earl Grey that i ordered on their new website. The tea arrived quickly and nicely packed, smelling lovely! Made my first brew and can say it's one of the best Earl Grey's iv'e tasted, well blended and not overly flowery as some from can be from leading coffee shops. Going to buy my tea from here now, even though i do live in London, well worth it.

It certainly was a pleasant experience, having tea in here. Rather like a 'Mad hatter's tea party'. Very good service, relaxing atmosphere. It certainly is something different and fits well in our lovely town. Would certainly have afternoon tea here again.

Perfecto. Las mujeres ( propietario y mi hija? ) No podría haber hecho más. Volveremos muy pronto? Gracias

When in Hastings, do make time for tea at Harcourt’s Tea House. If you opt for the full afternoon tea for two, you should book at least the day before so that they can ensure they have what you would like, as you choose three fillings from a variety of sandwich options, and ours were accompanied by pate and toast, a selection of that day’s cakes, plus scones (choice of fruit or chocolate and orange), jam, and clotted cream, all served on pretty cake stands and a table laid with a proper cloth and vintage china. The lady owner is a great hostess, making you feel genuinely welcome and checking whether your individual teapot needs a refill, either with what you had before or the chance to try something else from their extensive range of familiar or more exotic teas.

Just had tea, but nothing was too much trouble. We sat out in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine.Very attentive service, and genuine but not too much fussing . I ordered Earl Grey and offered a choice of 3 different types and took the recommendation of the waitress. My cousin wanted a weak tea and was given a suggestion of what she might prefer. We were offered a top up of hot water in out teapots and the china is a delight. The scones look good although we did not sample today - we plan a return visit. We were told where the scones are made and there was some interesting varieties.

I visited "Harcourts Tea House" today for an afternoon tea with a friend. We had walked past before but never ventured inside- I am so glad today we did! From the second we walked in we were genuinely welcomed (Not jumped on or a fake greeting) We sat down & took in the decor - modern but with beautiful elements from the 20's and a wonderful "Alice in Wonderland" spin - It was beautiful. We looked at the menu and were pleasantly surprised with the wide choice of tea's, all locally sourced and the waitress Jemma was more than happy to explain some of the tea's and recommend a great chai for us. This is a great place with a small selection of dainty sandwiches- but were they really shine is their cream teas, we had "the duchess" a scone with jam and cream. We were even given the option of strawberry or blackcurrant jam! (I had blackcurrant) We sat in the garden which had been thoughtfully decorated with a mixture of growing and fake flowers and there was a gazebo set up to give the customers some shade. The customer service was friendly and not forced - Waitress Jemma gave us time to leisurely peruse the menu and didn't fuss around. She was also very helpful and happy to accommodate. This little tea house is a beautiful find, and I will definately be returning for more tea & scones. The Sandwiches & tea & cream tea cost us £6 each!! Amazing value for money, and well worth a visit. Absolutely first class-give it a go, you wont be disappointed x

If you blink you can easily miss this place tucked away in one of the basements of Cambridge Road. However, once visited, never forgotten! As we stepped into this small, elegantly decorated teahouse we were warmly welcomed in by the very friendly owner (even with my niece's dirty great skateboard!) who has an extensive knowledge and interest in the variety of teas she sells. She gave us a history of the Harcourt's name and explained her love of tea and Hastings. I would definitely recommend this place as a haven from the bustle of the town centre and overload of coffee chains. She even does a caffeine free 'Children's tea' and a free sample of your choice!

Harcourts is new in Hastings and already has quite a big clientele It is a must go to when visiting Hastings. There are teas from all over the world there and lovely cakes to go with them. I have sampled Mint Tea, Caramel Tea, Builders Tea and of course Earl Grey. The service there is very good. They are polite and friendly and make you feel at home.
