Found this little gem in Frome, what a joy to discover they do GLUTEN-FREE sandwiches, such a rarity!! they can do all of them including toasties GF except one as it has bechamel, I've never had such choice!! I had a GF New Yorker and it was absolutely delicious and huge, so much filling I couldn't even it all at once! I don't usually write reviews but this sandwich was so incredible I felt compelled to share my joy so other people looking for gluten free in Frome or delicious sandwiches/toasties can also try it! Not sure what happened for the review below but that was definitely not the case for me! Would absolutely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff while friendly seemed to take an age to make what can only really be described as a small soggy overpriced sandwich I’m sorry I wouldn’t bother again Try the falafel msn on the market he had a big queue for a reason I guess

Great, fresh, premium sandwiches. Lovely variety and made fresh. Although not cheap, they are good value because they are so well made, full of decent quality ingredients. Friendly service too.

We decided to book a family birthday celebration meal at the White Hart, as most of my family were brought up in the area. We were not disappointed, we recieved a warm welcome on arrival, great choice of drinks, excellent food at below average prices and good portions. A great memorable time was had by all.

Have driven past the Castle of Comfort many times over the years, but this was the first time we stopped for a meal. First impressions: characterful old Country pub with plenty of charm, very friendly greeting by the lady running the service. We both went for the Cheeseburger and chips, expecting the same service you get in a lot of places these days - a rather bland burger and some thin french fries, bought in frozen. Boy, we were mistaken! The side salad arrived first - on a seperate side plate. The burgers arrived - big really thick, presumably locally made burgers in a fresh huge bun, a wonderful plate of "proper" chips, not fries, perfectly cooked and a handsome amount of peas. The meal was cooked just right and absbolutely delicious. We had a good chat with the lady at the bar and she advised that it was essential to make bookings for both lunchtime and evening meals, as the place is usually full to capacity. We were lucky today, as we arrived towards the end of the lunchtime service. We will be back to experience their renown steak meals and perhaps a Sunday roast.

My fiancé and I came to Wells for the night and had booked at this lovely little restaurant. The staff Rita and Alice were very friendly and efficient. I had the king prawns for start and duck and honey for main. They were both absolutely delish! Highly recommended.
