I haven't been here for near on 10 years so hadn't realised it not only still existed but had expanded so much. What a fabulous place to pop in for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were attentive and I am already planning my return visit. My daughter had a smoked salmon wrap, my husband had a raclette and ham toastie and I had a goats cheese toasties. All three came with homemade coleslaw on a bed of salad. The outdoor heaters took the edge off as we sat outside.

Funny little place that you access through a jewellers and not very big at all. We were lucky in getting a table but definitely advisable to book. Coffee was very nice and my husband’s toasted sandwich was one of the best he’s ever had. High praise indeed. Reasonably priced. Would recommend and would visit again.

The atmosphere was nice, quaint, their walled garden is sociable and pleasant but the far circular benches could do with replacing. The drinks list is extensive and as expected tailored to Wine and Cocktails, if you are looking for a beer, they have a few on the menu but you will be paying £7.50 for a 330ml bottle, I have always been of the opinion you need at least 1 reasonably priced beer on tap. As for the food we had attended at lunch l, honestly it was under seasoned and underwhelming. This wine bar has the potential to fantastic but is letdown on a few critical points. Would recommend trying but just be prepared to navigate round some of the issues.

Been here a few times and always had great service but have never remembered to leave a review so here I am !! Called in for coffee and cake today but the wife had a hot chocolate as she always does. She said it was the best hot chocolate she has ever had which must be good as she is very particular. The cakes we had were very tasty and the service was exceptional. A hidden little gem and one day we hope to catch the bus and have some wine and cocktails there.

I booked the large table outside to celebrate the retirement of two friends. We have had the most beautiful afternoon, gorgeous setting, amazing food, friendly staff. There was a slight issue with one of the cocktails, which was swiftly dealt with and promptly replaced. So glad I booked here for such a lovely occasion. Many thanks.

Lovely setting, food was hot + freshly made and very tasty. A few comments around allergies were really off putting though and really soured my experience and will deter me from returning. Those ordering with food allergies don’t deserve to be referred to as not normal or made to feel like they are an inconvenience. Maybe some staff training around this would be beneficial. The front of house staff seemed quite disorganised with one member of the team taking on most tasks ( I presume the manager) which also left it feeling chaotic. This particular Staff memeber started taking our order, then jumped to seat a table midway through, then started taking payment then returned to finish our order. In itself not a problem for us as we weren’t in any hurry but definitely an area for improvement.

This tiny cafe produces amazing food with their own chutneys and locally sourced produce. Introduced my new friend to this cosy place and indulged ourselves with Biscoff Shortbread and a traditional Brownie, a cappuccino and a latte mmmmmmm!. In the late Spring you can easily sit in the walled garden with a wrap or rug over your knees or meet new people sitting at the long "refectory" style table in the small courtyard. Accessed by walking through Hallmark Jewellers, there was just time on the way out for some window shopping at the lovely jewellery ranging from £10 to £10,000. Thanks to everyone involved in making our visit both tasty and relaxing.

Relaxed lunch treat. Everything is freshly made, so do not visit if you want instant ready-made food served within 5 minutes of ordering. If you want that, go to macdonalds! Friendly staff, good service, and tasty food. You walk through the jewellery shop to find a well set out garden cafe complete with a bridge and a pond full of fish. Dogs welcome in the outside area. I had the coronation chicken sandwich and was surprised when it was served warm. It is worth the trip to Titchfield just for that.

This is a real gem of a place. It was raining and we had to sit inside but it is still a nice environment. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were very helpful in finding a table for us. The food was delicious, we had olives which are just the best I have had outside of Spain and then moussaka. This was delicious, creamy and tasty. We had rocky road cake to take away which was also very nice but I think there was peanut on it? I could be wrong but would check for next time. All in all a great success and hope to visit again. We visited this little gem of a cafe within a tasteful jeweller shop today in Titchfield. We were welcomed in by the manager, Simon, a very personable gentleman who made us all feel very comfortable. The premises is compact and bijoux in the nicest way as the decor has been carefully chosen to reflect a cosy atmosphere along with a contemporary feel. The cafe is beautifully clean including the upstairs toilet facilities which is important when food is being served on the premises. The menu is great with lots to choose from so we all had a lovely brunch. Prompt service, good value for money and a very friendly, knowledgable manager made for a very happy visit. Although it was an exceptionally wet day, we noticed a small but pretty, outdoor garden area that will be perfect in the summer. I am already planning my 2nd visit. This is the kind of place that makes you look forward to a cup of coffee more than you should as it’s a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I also bought a very pretty bracelet from the little jewellery shop on the way out. A wee bonus! If you are ever in Titchfield, pop in - you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I had to pick up an item of jewellery very close to lunch time and visiting this establisment afterwards was really a "no brainer" ! The sun was shining and we sat in the garden outside, keeping company with a very vocal black bird. The presentation of the food was faultless and the quality too. It was my first visit and I can see "the wine garden" becoming a destination for us and, I am sure, a lot of people. This is more than a "cafe", it is an oasis of good taste and wonderful food in a desert of mediocrity locally We will be back.

Visited here with a friend who lives in the village and is a regular patron. I can see why, I love the fabulous use of space and the quirkiness of going through the lovely jewellery shop to get to the Wine Garden. The staff are very warm and friendly, good choice of food and wine. The courtyard is is one of the best I’ve ever seen, great use of the space and a lovely wood burner, heaters and hot water bottles if required! What a lovely thought. Very inviting on a grey November day but could imagine it would be equally as inviting on a hot summer night. I do not live locally but would definitely make the trip over to visit again. We had been to the jewellers a few weeks back and that's when we spotted the little cafe out the back. It has a lovely little garden which we though would be perfect for lunch on a nice day. We went today as the weather was pleasant and sat out side we both had a coffee and a honey baked cheese dish from the specials. We waited for around 25 minutes as all the other tables were served their food even though they had ordered after us but that's fine as I can understand ours taking a little longer as it was off the specials board. The waitress then came out with just the one dish and explained unfortunately the chef dropped one off the plates so would be another 5-10 minutes for the other, fine I guess as accidents do happen. My partner hungry so I said I would wait, it looked really good with sourdough toast, salad, chutney, homemade coleslaw with a little dish of baked cheese although there was no honey insight on the cheese. When mine was brought out the waiter had brought a little dish of honey for the cheese but at this point my partner had already eaten his so was not much use for him! Mine didn't come with any chutney either I dont know if we was ment to share this or not. The food and coffee was pleasant enough and the garden is lovely, just was disappointed that the long wait or the fact that we ended up eating seperatley wasn't acknowledged at all not even an apology about the wait. Unfortunately I don't think we would be returning.

This is a quirky little cafe sited at the rear of Hallmark Jewellers in Titchfield, South Street, accessed by walking through the store itself. When you see the quality items in the jewellers, you just know that the cafe food / service is going to bear a the same 'hallmarks'.The staff are friendly and attentive, the menu choice wide enough for all tastes and sizes of meal required, the coffee blend is just about the smoothest I've ever tasted, and the options for a quick alcoholic snifter are excellent. It is not, however, a bar.No, it ain't a greasy spoon, neither is it The Ritz, but it fits right in to the village environment and is well worth the effort and cost. Excellent service and food in comfortable surroundings is all you could ask for and exactly what you get. Plenty of seating, inside or out, prompt service, food hot and well prepared, and plenty of options. There is only one downside, and it isn't Hallmark Jewellers or the Wine Gardens fault whatsoever, parking in Titchfield has always been difficult. There is a free car park, and it's free in The Square & everywhere else, if the residents haven't occupied all the street spaces. But a short walk never hurt anyone!

I had lunch at the newly named Wine Garden today. It feels that it is having an identity crisis and doesn't know what it wants to be any more, trying to bridge the gap between coffee shop and trendy wine bar. The danger is that, following this path, you may end up pleasing no-one. The new menu has been launched and a lot of the previous popular items have been removed and replaced by bistro-type dishes. Wines and gins are being pushed heavily but there were no coffees or speciality teas on the menu, though these may be available on request but it is not obvious. The cake selection, previously the jewel in the coffee shop's crown has been drastically reduced and a few slightly dry offerings sit folornly on the counter, the chilled cabinet having inexplicably been removed. Whilst I have no doubt that the Wine Garden will do well in summer, not everyone wants to drink alcohol at lunchtime and the new theme doesn't feel like a good fit with either the jewellers or the village. If I want to drink alcohol or be surrounded by those doing so, I will go to a pub. I fear that the ambience will change and that the once peaceful garden will be spoiled by alcohol-fuelled noise, though I hope that I am wrong. The food was still good, though some of the pricing feels wrong. £6.50 for a small bowl of soup is excessive in my view. Furthermore, panini are no longer served, even though they were always a popular choice. A single price of £5.50 for a sandwich is slightly above average and there is no clue as to what fillings are available on the menu. It seemed quiet for a Saturday lunchtime as well. In the past, we have sometimes had to wait for a table. I should mention that the gentleman serving is extremely pleasant and helpful. Having been a regular at the coffee shop for a number of years, I will persevere and hope that my misgivings are misplaced.

Titchfield is a picturesque small real village with a lot of 16th century and later Victorian houses. Walking though Hallmark jewellers who make mainly bespoke jewellery is a tiny hidden gem the Wine Garden. It's very small but that adds to the ambience, it has an upstairs and outside courtyard seating ideal for a glass of wine in summer. On our first visit we were very warmly welcomed by the front of house staff, who bent over backwards to deliver what we wanted. This has just had a make over and is aimed to be a small cafe serving teas, coffees, wines and cakes and pastries including gluten free not that we are coeliac. Hot baguettes and Thai chicken curry and filled baked potatoes were on offer and very good. Really a tiny bolt hole and hidden gem for locals. They are open when the Jewellers are open as this is part of the business and as locals venturing in we were impressed. It's small but a huge welcome and we will visit again.

I had already ordered and paid as I would have left. We witnessed her sneezing into her hand and then using her hand to wipe away the crumbs from the tables. It was clear she was to ill to work why wasn't she sent home? Cakes were lovely but can I suggest you have a vegan option?

What a peaceful relaxing place to have a cupper and chat with friends. So pleased I made the effort to go in. A simple menu but the food was of a high standard. There's seating in the walled garden and also more indoors for cooler days. I shall definitely return and be introducing more friends to tea and cakes while having a good old catch up.

A fantastic quirky little cafe tucked in the centre of the village of Titchfield, easy to walk passed, do not be put off by having to go through the jewellry shop to the retreat at the back. A little seating area inside further upstairs and a delightful terrace and garden at the back. The teas are served as they should be infused leaves in pots with china cups. We each had a sandwich/pannini and both were served with an ample side salad with a pot of balsamic dressing and a lovely coleslaw. We whiled a way an hour here just sat chatting in the sunshine in the garden, so peaceful. The staff were attentive and eager to please us, we will definately be back and i shall be recommending it to all of my friends.Best of all the price...wow well done guys.

Hidden away behind the Jewellers shop (access via the jewellers) the Hallmark Coffee Shop is indeed a little gem. A friend and I and my faithful Labrador Duke visited on a stunning Spring day having had a wonderful return strut down the Titchfield canal to the Haven. We were more than happy to be in the quaint garden. Our paninis were splendid as was the coffee but MOST importantly ALL the staff were welcoming, friendly and of good humour. In fact real diamonds ! We'll be back.

One of the finest, friendliest cafes I have ever been in (I'm 71). It is hidden behind the Hallmark Jewellers in Titchfield Village. You are welcomed with a smile and immediately feel at home, they do have outside seating in a lovely garden and there is a sign which states that if you are a little chilly, ask the staff and they will provide you with a blanket and hot water bottle, honest! Not to be missed.

I have been here a few times now. You have to walk through the jewellery shop to the back garden to find the cafe. It is a small but perfect place to find good food and drinks. A lovely place for a coffee/ tea and cake or for lunch. The food is all home made and the menu has plenty of choice, but the cakes and pastries are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this charming place.

This cafe really is a gem! Located behind the excellent Jewellry shop a small, but excellent cafe for coffee or a light lunch. Sandwiches excellent and the Victoria Sponge is quite simply the best I have ever tasted! This is reason enough to visit this charming village just a mile or so from the sea. The garden will be lovely in the summer. This place is a real find!

We arrived at 1pm to an almost full cafe. It was busy. This didn't inhibit Ryan's enthusiasm to cheerfully and efficiently serve his customers with excellent food and drinks. We will definitely be returning.

Popped in here with my 2 children after visiting the jewellers. Lovely coffee. My son thoroughly enjoyed his homemade cake. Very friendly helpful staff. Could see the chef working hard in the kitchen preparing fresh pastries, pies etc. We will be returning especially having seen the nice enclosed garden area.

Hallmarks coffee shop provides an intimate space to meet friends and share a delightful coffee and home made cakes. There is also a wide selection on the menu to choose from for a lunch time treat, all home made delicious food. The decor is clean, tidy and arty. Then you walk through the shop to peruse the goods on a full stomach. The toilets are upstairs in the shop, so not good for people who find stairs a problem.

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the quality of the products is outstanding, and the coffee and mince pies were very tasty. Have recommended them to a number of family and friends. We would not use a high street jeweller again.

Good coffee, good food and cakes - excellent ! Attentive staff and first class service. Last time I visited I received a phone call which I took outside - when I returned I discovered a fresh cup of coffee had been left on my table (free of charge) as the staff thought the first one might have been cold ! An example of first class service.

For a typical local GreenKing pub the meal we have just had truly merits the five stars. The service was prompt and friendly. The food including a roast dinner was excellent. Especially good is the gammon steak which is always melt in the mouth juicy and tender.

Lovely looking pub was looking forward to Sunday roast given all the rave reviews. I ordered the beef and really wish I hadn't completely inedible. Even my non fussy husband had a go as he felt a bit embarrassed with me not eating it but even he couldn't eat it. This must be the worst beef I have ever eaten or attempted too couldn't even cut it with a knife it was that tough. As previous poster mentioned the waitress was not pleasant and seemed to have a sour undertone. She must be fun to work with! Obviously won't be going back.
