Great service from Michelle she is a credit to your establishment. Everything was fine except my ribeye steak was very sinuey and cheery despite being cooked exactly as I wanted it so no disrespect to the chefs just a bad cut. Everything else great and the children were really well cared for and looked after, which is the main thing so we will be back!

3 of us ordered the rotisserie chicken with hot honey sauce. The chicken was pink inside, undercooked. The assistant manager assured us it was fully cooked rather than giving us good customer service and offering us something else. As we all had salad from the salad bar we asked if we could have a steak to go with it. He said it will be a small 4oz steak, no option there. Still no better the steak wasn't cooked properly, it was stringy. Assistant manager then agreed then blamed the chefs. Overall not a good evening. 😕 I won't be going back. The only kind gesture and only because we said we are not paying the bill he did not charge us. So we left hungry!

A lovely Thursday meal. Maddy (our host) did an amazing job. Made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much for her. Absolute star!

Awful service. Chips were overcooked and cold. No coleslaw for the taco's yet it was in the salad bar!!! Half of the salad bar dishes were empty and the cucumber had been there so long it had all dried up. Won't be going back

Went yesterday 21st of April waited an hour for our food but my friend and her son had a small starter each they both ordered of the 24.99 3 course set menu but didn’t realise the stake came at 5 pounds extra they was asked if they wanted peppercorn sauce which was an additional 1.99 each which she wasn’t aware of when there steaks arrived they were both over cooked they both asked for medium rare they were well done really chewy and dry I tasted a peice and spat it back out we asked if they could have some money of was offered to take the drinks of but they both didn’t eat there steaks my friend ended up cutting the steak and giving it to her dog nearly 60 quid down the drain also some of the food that was prepared ( other peoples were sat under a heat lamp for nearly an hour they were under staffed we had one waitress that was serving most of the tables and checking in the guest for the tables and serving the food ,also wasn’t given new knifes and forks had to grab our own and our dirty bowels we’re left of the table so I moved them to another table , there was also food under our table before we even ordered ours it’s gone down hill and won’t be going again for a long time it’s a shame because it’s become over priced and under staffed and it’s local to me

Amazing cooking and not to mention the service 👌 it was perfect everyone is so happy and kind. I will be back.

Went out for my mum’s 75th with her and the siblings. It was a great meal, great atmosphere, our waitress was amazing, knowledgeable about the menu and welcoming. We had a great experience.

Food was below average, my peri peri wings were clearly reheated, and prices were absurd. £18 for a basic burger? To top it off we were served by a Trans man pretending to be a woman. It made me very uncomfortable knowing a mentally ill person was handling my food. We wont be returning.

Came for lunch today. I had the tacos and the corn read as a side. I could not fault the foodie was great. So fresh and tasty. Our waitress Michelle was run off her feet as it was very busy. She was extremely friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.

While I put 4 for service that would be for the middle aged lady doing all the serving as it seemed she was the only one that was really working the others stood talking or handed out drinks even though the blond young lady took our drink to the wrong table. Then over heard them saying well no one likes to work a Monday.

Just had a great meal here as usual! We were served by Char today who serves us a lot when we go and she is fantastic, always remembering us and making us feel welcome.

Always come here for a meal always excellent food, Jordan waited on us and was very professional, very courteous and checked everything was OK an excellent member of staff!. Food was excellent as always with no issues!

Family friendly chain restaurant with a good range of pub favourites such as fish and chips, burgers, grilled meats, tacos and rice plus plenty of vegetarian and vegan alternatives .I had the chargrilled chicken and mash which came with broccoli and peas plus gravy. Although the chicken was tasty the portion was a little on the small side and the veg were lukewarm. My companion had beef burger and fries which was much more filling- also you can fill up with unlimited salad for free upon ordering mains which was great. We had soft drinks and no desserts so I can't comment on those but again there appeared to be ample choice of sides, desserts, and drinks on the menu. I had reserved in advance so had no issues getting seated : it did appear rather busy for a midweek early eve slot . Our server was attentive, plus you can get various discounts/points if you scan the Harvester app upon payment. All in all a very reasonable experience .

food nice, service great, prices good using the reward card, but only 3/5 for this visit because we're sick of getting our meals served on tiny little rectangular plates, theyre awful

Wonderful service from Grace tonight, the four of us came in for a meal for my birthday and I was over the moon with the service, and attention to detail. She made us welcome and I was very grateful we came tonight, food, service and Grace A* keep it up we’ve had a great evening! ❤️

Our server Grace was very friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Food was nice. However our visit was made by Grace, she is a credit to the Harvester. We wouldn’t have known she hadn’t been doing the job long by her whole demeaner, it was nice to have that conversation and wish her the best here.

Ample parking at the front of the Pub up a steep incline close to the traffic lights. Additional spaces at the rear too. Leave registration at front desk to book vehicle in. Usually take the breakfast as it is freshly cooked. Early morning is less busy and the staff are attentive to extras and refills.

On my arrival, I received a warm & friendly welcome, from my, to be waitress Christina. I was accompanied by my wife & we both took advantage of the unlimited salad bar offered to us. We both enjoyed our main meals & our friendly waitress Cristina was very attentive throughout. As an added bonus, the meals were on offer at a 50% discount.

Obviously not fine dining but the atmosphere was good, the food well cooked and tasty, the service was excellent - our waitress, Anne, was delightful and very helpful and the price was ok although we did use the 50% off mains offer. All in all, an enjoyable lunch out

My partner and I had breakfast here and were greeted/served by the lovely Anne. She was friendly, attentive and helpful - a real credit to the restaurant. My partner had the ultimate breakfast and I, the standard - we had no complaints. Both meals were filling and cooked well.

Disappointed. Booked a specific area but told overbooked so put at table at the back. They had run out of T bone so had very tough sirloin instead. & then we were told they needed the table for some more guests whilst we were still chewing through the tough steaks. Disgusting & rude food very mediocre

Lovely venue for meeting up with family. Nice food, enough to eat and value for money. Staff very friendly and excellent service from Michelle through out our dinner. Even though the restaurant is busy but She's still calm and attentive. Thank you Michelle .

Harvester's Buccaneer location is a reliable option for a quick and budget-friendly meal, especially when travelling. We've been eating here for years, popping in when we're passing through and need a cheap and filling bite. While it's not fine dining, the food is consistently served hot and fast, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. The salad bar is a Harvester staple, but as with most Harvester locations, the salad bar can get busy, and several containers were nearly empty during our visit. Plus, with a range of visitors, including children, keeping it clean seems to be a constant challenge (those greasy tongs can be a bit off-putting!). Overall, it's a decent choice, considering the price compared to the variety of meal options, such as grilled meats, burgers with a variety of toppings, pasta-based dishes, fish options like fish and chips and grilled salmon, and vegetarian choices.

Only improve. Violet serving is incompetent and walked around apologising to every table for something. We received our starter before the salad bowls and drinks glasses for refills. She knocked over the salt on the table and left it. We asked for mayonnaise she left and we never got it. Then the bill was wrong by over £15 which we had to point out and get it lowered to the correct price. She was calling everyone my darlings this is not professional.

Pre booked table was given to another party and we had to wait to be seated elsewhere (we were not late arriving). Not all drinks prices are on the menu. Took 50 minutes to place food order, our server went off shift before we ordered and never passed over to new server we had not ordered. Salad bar was empty including the rolls, resulting in a further wait for food after several enquiries to staff regarding replenishment of salad bar. Only 5 of the 6 ordered meals were served, the 6th only arrived after we queried where it was. Drink service was slow initially and we were never asked if we required refills.

Food was delicious, staff were polite and friendly. Staff at fareham harvester went out of there way to make our autistic son feel comfortable.

Went for breakfast, and had the ultimate one. Wow massive and hard to finish. The foods used were decent too, making it worth the money

Maddy is a fantastic waitress and the food was really nice.

Unfortunately the main dish me and my wife had was not that great. The chips were cold and very hard and portion size of meals were lot smaller then they used to be. Seemed the meal looked too small for the plate. My son had mixed grill which was good size for plate and was cooked well. Unfortunately my wife and my meal looked like it had been cooked awhile before we got it at our table.

All the staff was every helpful and polite and could not do enough for me and my husband how is disabled they made sure we had enough space for the wheelchair. All the staff was very friendly and up for a laugh .

Went suday around 5.30 pm was greeted at the door and shown to out table ,our server was very polite ,sorted out our drinks and took our food orders,when the food arrived it was nicely presented and hot ,meal was very tasty and all of our group enjoyed their meals all round was a very nice meal out and look forward to returning soon

Pretty poor breakfast items missing, no longer all you can eat and you don't get yogurt, fruit, toast or any of the other bits that used to make it worth the money.

Down in the area from London on a little spa break with my mum. Came in here for dinner as we do love a harvester. We were greeted warmly by the staff at the desk, even though we didn’t have a booking we were show to a table quickly. Our server Caitlyn was absolutely amazing, having a laugh with not just us but every table she was serving. My mum has a few allergies and she was amazing dealing with them and making sure everything was just right for her, including the salad bar. Now everything in the salad bar was fresh and not sat out for a while like I have seen in some places, the food was fantastic so hot and delicious and came out in a timely manner. From where I was sitting on table 22 I can see a good portion of the restaurant, everyone looking happy and the environment was just buzzing. Everyone is working hard from the waitresses to the food runner to the kitchen staff. Everyone part of our visit today has been brilliant, I definitely recommend a visit.

Staff were lovely. Food was delicious. I was slightly disappointed they ran out of steak as I had been looking forward to it all day lol the brownie we ordered was a bit dry but the chocolate cake was beautiful. I would have liked more variety of dressings for the salads but that's me being picky. I would definitely recommend and would return for another meal out.

The ultimate salad bar was horrible there was very little to choose from. The new member of staff was terribly slow and brought one plate out at a time and they were still dirty. The tap water tasted like washing up liquid. I will not be coming here again to have a horrid experience. What a waste of my time and money.
