Gyroland in Portsmouth

We had 2 gyros,1 chicken, 1 pork, in both of them the meat was from day before just reheated. Disappointed especially that they put their prices up recently

I was really looking forward to eating a tzatziki halloumi wrap! I love tzatziki and I love halloumi, so what could possibly go wrong? Well, everything: 1) We got a veggy box at £13.50, expecting a mountain of food for that price. But what it contained was actually really not worth it: just a few slices of halloumi, a bit of tzatziki, some sad-looking chips and lots of onions in the salad - that was just incredibly disappointing and frustrating. 2) It was so full of onions that we stank of them for 24 hours after eating. 3) My coke was lukewarm. A few ice cubes in a drinking cup would have been appreciated by this weather. 4) The sitting area outside was covered in litter and the tables and floors were sticky. Why isn't the restaurant keeping it clean and rubbish free? Definitely do not recommend and will not go back.

Had a delivery this evening, first time. It was amazing!! Been 5 years since I've had one!! Gyroland Μπράβο αυτό είναι πολύ καλά! Τα λέμε σύντομα!

You might think the last thing Portsmouth needs is another kebab place, but this one is a bit special - I ordered a mixed platter and every item had a distinctive (and delicious) flavour, and with an extra serving of pitta bread provides enough for three meals so it's excellent value. My new go-to spot for fulfilling a kebab craving, I think!

Do not buy large orders from these people, they can not cope with them. they runined my daughters celebration. Food arrives cold, and food from the order missing, we had to wait an hour and half for the order, there was no apology, they don't care about there customers. my wife phoned and they said contact uber, there was it, still no apology

So we ordered from them at 8pm... received our food at 9:40pm it was Cold and my partner didn't want to eat it... what a waste of £30+So after an Hour of waiting we contacted the "restaurant" directly which took 5 or 6 attempts only to be told our food was On it's way... 40 minutes later it arrives and the order was incorrect to what we had ordered.. Crappy Service, Cold food, won't be back

Finally something different than a kebab shop in Portsmouth.Food much tastier, you won't be disappointed , I for sure wasn't.

We booked and went on a Sunday. Great Covid measures in place Beer was reasonably priced. The food was fab. We had pork souvlaki in a box and chicken Really good quality. Would definitely go back again Good quality and a good price

Got a take away from this place. Food was excellent and a big portion, with lovely tzatziki, pitta and fresh salad. However I did ask for no chips in the order and more salad instead but that was not acknowledged. All in all great food.

Después de escuchar cosas buenas sobre Gyroland, ¡yo y algunos compañeros decidimos probarlo! No nos decepcionó! La porción de puerco desmenuzado con pan de pita, ensalada, papas fritas y queso feta estaba delicioso. El halloumi a la parrilla también era increíble. Si estás en Southsea, prueba Gyroland. También tiene un precio razonable y asientos al aire libre para que pueda disfrutar de una vista al mar por la costa hasta Sussex.

On 2 occasions has this place accepted our order and not delivered! All the phones have been down. Disgraceful. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

We fancied trying something different so decided to try the Gyros on South Parade Pier & weren't disappointed. We both had the wraps which were a pitta base, either feta or tzatziki sauce then salad & chicken or pork then turned into a cone type wrap topped with a few chips sprinkled with herbs, absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back, really good value too at £4.90. Guys serving were really friendly too. Nice to have other options than fish & chips for a change.

We'd been recommended here by a friend & was looking forward to trying something different from fish & chips by the sea. We had chicken gyro wraps & they were amazing !! Probably the best takeaway food we've ever eaten. Can't wait to go back.

Me recomendaron este lugar, así que cuando pagué 27 por 2 comidas en caja de Gyros de cerdo, 2 porciones finas de Halloumi a la plancha y 2 botellas pequeñas de bebida para el almuerzo, pensé que valdría la pena. . . . . . .Sí, el propietario fue muy amable y cuidó mucho la presentación de la comida, pero todo estaba tibio y hemos probado mejores giroscopios de tiendas de kebabs en otros lugares de la ciudad. . . . .Eso, junto con los dos de nosotros que pasamos la mayor parte de la noche tocando sillas musicales en el baño, ¡nunca volveríamos y sin duda no lo recomendaríamos!

The owner of this place is very friendly and he does want to make sure his customers enjoy their gyros. They have the best gyros in town and their chicken skewer gyros are amazing!

Habiendo planeado un viaje de fin de semana a Portsmouth, el primer tipo de comida que buscamos era el griego. No queríamos nada con ganas y pompa, solo buscábamos comida rápida y fácil en la calle que nos gusta tomar cuando estamos en Grecia.Gyroland no me decepcionó! ! El pitta era auténtico, el tzatziki era garlicky y el giroscopio de cerdo estaba en punto. Nuestra pequeña tenía un giro de pollo y ella casi se comió el lote.Este lugar es como los lugares de giro que encontrarás en Grecia. . . pruébalo porque no te decepcionará! ??

A raíz de la revisión original se redujo a Southsea en el reciente clima cálido. Este lugar no ha cambiado en absoluto.Pollo fresco, patatas fritas y ensalada. Es lo mejor para sentarse en la playa y comer esto. ¡Esta vez los niños cortaron la mayor parte de la comida!Seguiremos volviendo - lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

This is our go-to takeaway, always delicious! The cheesy chips came with feta last time - lovely! Can’t wait for summer to actually eat at the seafront again

Shared the portion of chicken gyros with the wife. Was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend especially sat in the sun eating it! Can’t wait to go back.

After being onmour feet for 7 hours doing th etourist bit we were so glad to find this great tasting ,value for money meal.

What a find, a proper Greek gyro place on a pier in Southern England! Apparently there is a sizeable Greek community in that part of the south coast and here you have authentic gyros, both pork and chicken. I went the first night of my stay and had a platter, which comes with feta and tzatziki; and the second night a gyros wrap the classic style with chips in it. There are a few tables outside but mostly you can sit on the benches along the pier and eat your gyros above the wine-dark sea. Recommended

Popped in here today for the first time to grab a take away, friendly service and great fresh food just like in Greece! All that’s missing is the beach bar and cocktails!!

I was taken in while passing and decided to give this place a go. . I had a mixed grill wrap and was not disappointed.

We ordered gyros from here and we were really impressed; they were like the gyros you would find in Greece. Furthermore, it was cheap, the staff were friendly and the service was quick.

Had a pork gyros with a bottle of Greek lemonade. The pitta was home made which meant it wasn’t like a piece of cardboard. The gyros meat was delicious as was the spicy cheese sauce. The weather was beautiful and if I shut my eyes I could have back in Crete .

Found this little gem of a Greek kiosk serving great Greek wraps by chance on the newly re-opened South Parade Pier. A very simple menu, of chicken, pork or vegetarian wraps. We were debating which to go for, so the owner gave us a taster of the two meats. Both were delicious! Served with a smear of tzatziki , a bit of salad, plenty of meat and a sprinkle of herbs, the wraps were simply delicious. Larger meal version was also available. Great to see something a little different on the Pier.
