Really beautiful little tea room right next to Porth beach. It’s very pretty inside, the homemade cakes were wonderful and the staff so friendly - would def recommend!

I would highly recommend this place. I called up last minute on the off chance of getting booked in and Hannah was very helpful and managed to accept my booking. It was a surprise for my nan they both absolutely loved it and had a wonderful afternoon. 10/10

We found this absolute gem of a place whilst exploring this year. We had the BEST sausage and caremalised onion sandwich I have ever tasted. This place is lovely I had pre booked an afternoon tea for 5. The food was delicious, but it was not what I asked for. Having chatted on the phone about the food requirements I made it very clear the 3 people wanted vegetarian, one meat, one only cheese. It was agreed that I would receive one meat sandwich and one cheese sandwich. I believed that this would be a round of sandwiches of each as the 2 people making those requests didn't want vegetarian and my daughter would only eat cheese. Sadly on arrival we received 1 finger of meat and 1 finger of cheese, this was obviously very disappointing to my family members. We didn't want to make a fuss as there was clearly crossed wires but please keep this in mind if you want to make any special requests. The best brunch / cream tea I've had for years. We went in today for a light brunch; sandwiches and cream teas with our 2 daughters (8 months and 3 years old). The service was impeccable, we were made to feel like a guest at someone's house, rather than a restaurant. The food itself was great, like I said we only have sandwiches and cream teas but it was so good! Will definitely be back to try something different / more substantial next time.

Gwenna Teahouse is a new fav of ours. Situated right by Porth beach, there is outdoor seating which catches plenty of sun. Staff are always friendly, and service is perfect. We feel looked after everytime we go, but not rushed. The cakes are the best bit. The Hummingbird cake, is to die for! We love the cute tea cups and very much look forward to future visits.

Stopped in for lunch, was very impressed. The scones were beautiful and warm, plenty of jam and cream to go around. The open sandwich was packed with filling which was very tasty. Beautiful location and the staff were very polite and friendly. 10/10.

What an absolutely lovely Teahouse! Tasty home made food in a gorgeous setting with fabulous friendly service. Everything from the bread to the coffee tasted great, so much so that we have been back twice in 7 days! It's worth the trip to this lovely place, it certainly won't disppoint. A real hidden gem. Slightly underwhelmed given the good reviews 😐 On a positive note, the building is lovely and the scones were above average. Value for money - £13.50 for a crab sandwich on sliced white bread from the super market, with minimal garnish and effort was disappointing. For a premium price you expect more. 🦀 👎 Toilet - having to use the public beach toilet down the road (which, by the way is pretty disgusting) is not ideal. 🚶‍♀️ 🚻. All in all not bad but with such high expectations, we were disappointed.

We visited Gwenna’s on three occasions, luckily the staff were able to accommodate us as there were nine of us (and 3 little dogs). We had two breakfasts and a late lunch/ fizzy cream tea. It was all outstanding especially the crab, homemade quiche, and the Cornish cream teas. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff were very chatty and welcoming especially Will. I wish we weren’t so far away as I’d love to go back more often.

Booked this for my my wife, Mum, friends wife and the kids. My wife and friend are both Gluten Free and last year we found another place which was great but unfortunately due to an outbreak of COVID they had to close. Quick search on Google, found Gwenna and reviews seemed good.Now personally I didnt eat (we went on a boys trip to Newquay!!!!!!) but from the feedback I had they all said how nice the place was, how great the service was and that the food was amazing.We are back to Cornwall later this year and I cant wait to try it out for myself

Oooh this place is just flipping lovely!!! Popped in for drinks on first day of our holiday and were tempted by the cream tea - a generous serving with 2 warm scones was enough for 2 of us. The TG hot chocolate was delicious. Feeling tempted by the delicious looking breakfast menu we returned a few days later for one of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere. TG breakfast with sourdough toast, eggs, bacon and avocado was perfect. My son said the scrambled eggs were best he’d eaten. Sausages also very very good. The coffee - in particular the flat white is a decent and strong and very more-ish. Dogs are welcome (thank you) and they seemed pretty busy from 11am onwards. Finally the service. Absolutely delightful. Friendly and welcoming and every single member of staff seemed genuinely glad we are there. This place is everything you want from a tea house. Head and shoulders the best place is Porth.

I went to there last week 03/08/21 mainly for WiFi signal, but they said they did not have it. I saw on board marking fresh crab available, I then asked about it, a waitress said they can do a sandwich as I am late and they don't serve meal anymore. I was so pleased to try the Cornish crab and did not ask for the price. When the box is handed out for me to pay, it was £15 for the sandwich and a latte. I asked the price for the sandwich and she said £12. Wow wow wow, I had to pay and decided to sit outside and see what is inside the box?

We had a delicious breakfast sat outside. We moved into the shade as it was a bit hot for the dog. They are dog friendly. Staff were efficient, it was table service. We had a delicious breakfast as seen in the photos and my boyfriend said it was the best coffee he'd had all trip. Parking was just up the road on the beach and cost £1.20 for an hour.Lovely little place, we would definitely go back.
