Gulshan Takeaway in Craven

Ordered online via their website, and received my acknowledgment email saying delivery within 40 minutes. 1 hour later no sign of a delivery so called Gulshan. Was told that no order had been received and I should ‘check’ whether we’d placed an order. Explained that I’d received their acknowledgment email etc etc etc to be told that ‘it hasn’t been received’ then silence. No offer to sort the problem out (never mind an apology) so they expect me to re-order or whatever. Stuff that, I won’t be going there again.

The prices aren't too bad at this takeaway, and I thought the food quality was pretty decent. Would return.

Gave it a try, and was very pleasantly surprised. Clean looking takeaway with reasonable prices. Pleasant, polite staff, and prompt service; collected 20 minutes after ordering . We had a chicken jalfrezi and chicken bhuna both very tasty and quite large portions. We’ll be using it again.

Not ordered form the Gulshan since it reopened. Very impressed service was quick and the chicken madras was excellent.

I have used this take away a few times as ive been in Blackpool 20 years and the food has always been good,however on my last order i opted for delivery and waited 2 1/2 hours by which time i had ordered from somewhere else,i tries to call but the phones just not answered,i rejected the order when the driver delivered (driver was very polite and apologetic) I did get a call that evening and 3 times he told me how busy they had been and not once said sorry,when i suggested that he has my phone number all he had to do was call and say there has been a delay,he didn't want to listen to any ideas as he obviously knows better and had a very arrogant attitude, He did offer us a free midweek meal and indeed he called on Thursday (obviously no customers!!) to see if we would like our free meal? i told him i will no w take my custom elsewhere and never use them again,he just said okay and again never even offered an apology, AVOID AT ALL COST ON BUSY NIGHTS

Got takeaway last nite...onion bhaji, lamb chops, tandoori mix grill, king prawn jalfrezi, cheese and onion naan, chappaties,free popadoms and some pickle. Delicious, piping hot on delivery,plenty of it, great value for money, lovely polite friendly staff. Our usual curry takeout. 😘

Now had a few curry’s great value good spice kick,love your pilau rice good chapatis too. Onion Bhaji very nice,warm welcome and good telephone manner. Closed Tuesdays.

Recommended by a few people, although I ordered the korma which is ment to be mild but this had abit of a spicy after kick, the pilue rice was very fragrant more so than normal n the garlic nan bread is the worst iv had overall not impressed......

Highly recommend the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh food fresh ingredients. The staff are very friendly and welcoming the prices are affordable. Has a great atmosphere highly recommend. Best Indian takeaway in skipton. Will be ordering from here more often. The best thing is their curries. Good quality food also excellent service.

Went to the chippy but it was shut, so decided on a curry instead. Hasn’t been before but had all the usual stuff, prices reasonable, curry’s pretty good and didn’t have to wait too long. Definitely worth a try.

We have used this takeaway for a good 10 years but only ever ordered the chicken tikka naan wraps (they are good). Decided tonight to order a full takeaway & move away from our normal curry house. We ordered a mixed kebab starter, chicken shashlik, chicken Bhuna, chapati, rice & associated extras as you do when ordering a curry. Sorry to say but not impressed in the slightest & a complete waste of £23. Both chicken dishes were dry as a bone, the mixed kebab was insipid looking & undercooked & completely inedible. The extras were also under cooked & the mint sauce was like water. Such a shame as the chicken tikka naan wraps are ace. Won’t be going again as the whole meal was awful :( You can’t afford to deliver unacceptable food these days when there is so much competition.

The food was very nice. Staff were pleasant and we were served quickly. With rice included in the main dish, it was good value for money.

come down to gulshan best in town with unbeatable prices with quality tasting food and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The food was poor tonight and was last time. We’d hoped it was just a blip but after tonight clearly not. Stale, cold, greasy food not well cooked and not hot. It’s a shame as it used to be a good takeaway.

Got tandori mix grill each, onion bhajis, rice, garlic naan, plenty of salad and poppadoms....excellent as always....always get takeaway from here....brilliant service and good price x

Ordered a take away last night,the food was delivered on time and was delicious.very reasonably priced.can highly recommend the chicken tikka naan.its fantastic value.

Got a take out last night and didn't take long and was very tasty and good value for your money! I get plain curry sauce and rice as I'm not a huge fan of meat but never the less it was brill.

Este llevar sólo puede ser descrito como un lugar donde puedes conseguir una casa curry, incluso picar ajos frescos para cada curry hizo. Hay una buena selección de comidas y el personal es muy amable y servicial, y el precio justo. !

We have been regular customers of Gulshan for two years now and this take away makes the best curry in the whole Skipton, always tastes the same, you can tell its all fresh and the staff is very friendly, highly recommend it to everybody looking for a real curry, simply beautiful!!

tried other takeaways in the town but always end up coming back to the gulshan there fppd is excellent and the staff friendly

Top llevar. Muy obviamente platos recién hechos. Perfectamente aromatizados. Igual de bueno un curry como usted podría pedir de una toma, o incluso un muy buen restaurante.

3ª vez que hemos estado, pollo Tikka pollo tandoori y precioso, salsa curry demasiado caliente. Han mencionado dos veces, y solo poco yogur en para refrescarse. El gerente fue muy desagradable y poco, ¡entonces insistió en reembolso y me dijeron que la comida se comprobará antes restitución para asegurarse de que no habían comido, joven muy agradable que vino y nos dijo que podíamos mantener la carne y nos dio reembolso completo. Nunca volveremos otra vez, lo cual es una pena porque tandoori es precioso. El administrador necesita lecciones en el servicio al cliente.

Tried twice recently for family meal. Everyone very pleased with their food.Could have been a little hotter in temp but otherwise fine

Tried here two weekends in a row after my oven has broken. Favourite so far is chicken balti - gorgeous flavour, lots of meat, not too spicy or greasy.We also tried medium jalfrezi which was a bit too hot I thought, similar to what I'd expect from madras.Anyway - will be having again! :-)

We always enjoy our Indian take always from the Gulshan. Friendly staff and tasty food! Curries are consistently good.

You can keep your fancy Aagrahs and other popular Indian takeaways in skipton. This is the best Indian place in town. Unfortunately only to takeaway and not an eat in restaurant but I couldn't rate the food higher. They even delivery for a small fee of £1.50 Best thing you can do is try it for yourself. My particular favourite is chicken chat & puri

Thought this little back street takeout would be greasy and horrible. Not the case. Onion bahje's lovely and fresh, naan bread beautiful and fresh and the main courses have plenty of meaty pieces and taste devine. We had the free pilau rice with ours. Was really impressed!
