Amazing place to visit. Friendly staff, great food choices and very welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Lots of space between tables and a nice fresh interior.

Now renamed & . Friendly service. Great coffee. Delicious breakfast , cakes and pastries. Would recommend the sourdough. We didn’t book and just walked in. Quite busy but seemed efficient.

I don’t normally write reviews but this place is a joke. Never experienced such an inefficient set up with just one barista making coffee for the entire restaurant which the result is waiting for near on 20 minutes for one takeaway coffee (which I actually didn’t get because I got tired of waiting and so walked out no coffee in hand). It’s not the first time it’s happened here either hence the review and the only reason why I went in again is because Hoxtons next door is closed but Gron could be the last place to serve coffee in Harrogate and I wouldn’t go back. Sort your service and processes out guys. You can’t expect people to put up with such bad service.

We’ve visited Grön a fair few times over the last few months whilst seeing family in Harrogate. Always great choice of healthy fresh food and welcoming friendly service. Yesterday whilst we were there my mother said that the salmon sandwich was the best she’s ever had. The sweet potato and Halloumi hash was amazing and the scrambled eggs that my children had were excellent too. The poor waitress/server was on her own but did an amazing job keeping up with everything and keeping her cool. Definitely recommend!

So I’ve been wanting to go for a while and today we did. Harrogate was packed but this place was pretty dead. This was a sign as every place around them was packed. Very slow service, scrambled eggs were over done. Service was very slow and only one guy on the floor. Food took ages to come out as it was ‘soooo busy’ 😊 My mum had mushrooms on toast and thought it was ok but we expected alot more. Very disappointed as was expecting more from these guys. I think Matt has lost control but opening too many places and the quality has dropped.

Ate a very disappointing breakfast here with my family. Expensive and inadequate food. Poached eggs tasted like rubber. Coffee was ok but had much better.

What a shame. I had been recommended here but I would not recommend. Despite only a couple of tables being occupied and 2 staff plus a manager (I assumed) the table adjoining ours was dirty and did not get cleaned. One of the staff had clothing that didn't cover her from the back and the apron at the front was filthy. The toilet had 5 empty rolls on the back of the toilet with no full ones in the cubicle. It was grotty and not a great experience. There are so many cafes in Harrogate that competition is high. Try a different one.

Dropped in for a quick coffee with family after a stressful day and we’re greeted warmly with lovely frothy rich coffees. Since it was the end of the day we were offered the remainder of the day’s leftover cinnamon buns - a really lovely gesture and they were delicious! Very clean, toilets well kept and staff friendly.

Managed to get a seat on a busy Saturday morning for a quick coffee stop. The flat white ws spot on! Service was good and the tables etc were all spotless. Didn't eat any of the snacks so can't comment other than to say they looked nice!

This is a lovely place, dog friendly with vegan options too - don't miss out, such a friendly atmosphere

Given how well marketed this is on Instagram, we were super disappointed with this place... The atmosphere is flat - music is played in the kitchen but the floor is silent, the toilets are so sad with a toilet roll hanger supported by a screw that's desperately trying to cling on with everything it's got next to a questionable stain on the wall... The service has no enthusiasm and after 35 minutes of waiting for our food we ended up having to get a refund as when we queried an eta the estimated food would be another 10 minutes.. for their prices, I'd expect a much higher standard across the board...

We had a lovely family lunch at Gron today. They quickly arranged tables for us to sit together and there was a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere.

I Stopped by Gron Kafe a few days because the usual place I go to was closed for building work, I'm glad that I did! The Coffee was the best I've tasted and the mushrooms on toast was amazing. If you're looking for a friendly coffee shop in Harrogate with delicious healthy food then give these guys a try. See you again soon.

Nice friendly cafe, good access, lots of room for the 4 of us and the baby, very friendly staff, really good range of imaginative vegan and non vegan dishes on the menu. We tried the Winter Hash with added avocado, which was great, and I was blown away by the choice of vegan cakes to have afterwards! I get SO bored of the only vegan option being the gluten free brownie, especially as I don't like chocolate. The blueberry bakewell I had was lush. We were all very happy with our meals, the coffee was excellent, and the service quick, friendly and efficient. Nice there was baby changing available as well. Definitely will go back next time we go to Harrogate, and will recommend to friends.

Beautiful interior, clean relaxed and stylish. The food is incredible - fresh, tasty, hearty and healthy. Very reasonably priced. the service is outstanding - attentive, thoughtful and helpful. Aggi was a delight - what a star- smiling happy and genuinely loves her work. Will be returning here & recommending to others
