I have always used Greggs for years but only for their hot sausage rolls. I saw that the Guildford Greggs had changed a lot last time I went in and sadly one bite of my sausage roll confirmed that, like everything else in the UK, it has finally hit rock bottom. The taste was SO BAD AND DIIFERENT that I spat it out and threw away the rest ( in a bin). The pastry was awful and that certainly was not pork inside!!! Goodbye Greg's, you are now really dreadful.

I'm fed up with strict, not for moving, because of company rules, rigid eastern European staff, who are mono tone sour faced, surly people, who will not warm up a cold breakfast pasty. Company rules stink. I've not been in guild one for years, and won't again, as I said, the food is cold , won't be warmed up, as policy, and company is happy for customers to have cold food, but will warm a baguette up.....seriously. And all the brash eastern Europeans, need to lighten up, in the morning, specially, or go learn English smiling and manners, without being so loud and manly.

I went into this Greg’s to grab some lunch as I normally would, everything was fine until I was called to the till, I was served by Natalia and the way she spoke to me made it seem that my customs were not welcome. I was shooed away from the counter with hand gestures and then spoken to in a sour way when I forgot to grab the drink I just bought off the counter. I had just finished a very upsetting therapy meeting and if it wasn’t me, she could of really upset someone.

The member of staff, female, treated me like dirt because I have a learning disability! She refused to serve me, she had no just cause. This has now gone on for over 20 weeks, despite numerous complaints to head office and one direct to the Managing Director!

I ordered a breakfast baguette with brown sauce via Just Eat. They changed this to a roll and did not tell me. Was part of a larger order and the person ordering was charged less but not told why. My food arrived cold and with no sauce. If they had run out of baguettes then I should have been told and given the opportunity to order something different which I would have done. Been left hungry this morning!

The counter was pretty much empty when I arrived. What was there was overcooked, and looked pretty burnt around the edges and on top of the pizzas especially. The staff member who served me wasn’t very polite and made the mistake in labelling the pizza’s my fault when in fact it was a labelling error from their side of the counter. Not best pleased with Greggs Guildford.

Everything cooked on the premises. Sausage rolls, steak bakes and chicken bakes are delicious. Pastry is crumbly and fresh. Great place for sandwiches or a snack. Good value too.

Good substantial food. I love Greggs for the value and good British food. Even though it was a Saturday, the queing was minimal and sausage rolls fresh out of the oven. Yummmm

My first experience of buying my lunch at Gregg's - glad I did. I ordered a vegan roll and a cheese and onion roll. Both were very good but I thought the vegan roll was exceptional. Together they were too much; maybe I should have ordered two vegan rolls, next time. Topped off with a latte, I had a very inexpensive tasty lunch.

This Greggs branch is towards the bottom end of North St and in prime position to capture passing trade - so no surprise it gets busy! There’s no inside or pavement seating, which means all prices are takeaway. Staff are quick to serve and nimble on their feet attending the ovens/heating items to order. You know what you’re getting at Greggs and so convenient to grab your favourite snack and drink, especially if you select a good value meal deal.

Food awful. Shall never eat here again. We have been dining here pre-show from the days when it was a proper restaurant. Now it is 'a cafe' but the standard has fallen disastrously, even for cafe food. This week was the 2nd time in 3 visits when we have been unable to eat our food - overcooked ready food, dried up, hard and visibly burnt. I don't know how any self respecting cafe would put food that is so obviously dried up and burnt, in front of a paying customer. Complaint was met with a refund and a smirk from manager. Not an inspiring response.

I just pop in for 2 coffees and a porridge and the lady with red hair has been very rude. She put cold milk in my porridge after I specified at the till that i want hot milk. She express her frustration after i confront her saying that i should ask for hot milk next time twice.

Came here at 14:00 on August 26. Ordered 2 drinks , 1 hot, 1 cold and a toastie. Waited 20 mins for the drinks and then the toastie didnt turn by 14:30 so we asked a refund. Dont go and waste your time people!

The coffee was good but I had to wait at least 20 mins for it after they had given my latte to someone else. I had to speak to a rather grumpy waiter about three times to get him to eventually bring my latte. When I complained I was told it was my fault as I had moved tables. I had but I was still very close by and only to comply with the cafe's request that our running group should be in a particular area as we also had a walking group with dogs. Watching everyone receive their coffee when these people had ordered theirs a long time after me was not a great experience. I raised the matter in a polite way at the end but nobody was prepared to offer an apology.

We were in Ripley to visit a family member and popped in to the Half Moon for a quick en route. Well priced beer, good environment, and more to the point a proper friendly landlord and landlady. Wish we had a pub like this nearer to where we live, would never be out of the place. Would most certainly return if we were ever to be back in Ripley.
