Greggs in Scarborough

I wanted to buy sandwich to have in hotel .a change wet day .u can't get a plastic bag .in this wet country.a paper bag how crazy.

The worse latte I have EVER bought in my life was absolutely disgusting. Will never be buying a cuppa from here again 🤮🤮🤮

Cheap but Mediocre I'm afraid. I called in for the £2.70 Breakfast deal of muffin plus hot drink. Looked good on offer but taste did not match. Drink also passable but machine made.

Bought two bacon sandwiches to take out, the bacon was fatty and just cooked, horrible. Will not go back

We usually pop in for a quick coffee when in Scarborough. So pleased the tables and chairs are now available again. The coffee is lovely not too strong or bitter. The staff are cheerful friendly and polite. We love the Bavarian Slices if there are any left.

Why could we not sit down in this cafe we could sit in the one in Norwhich no seats outside either cannot drink coffee stood up very DISAPPOINTED.

We get there around 10:30 am in time for the breakfast menu that finishes at 11am. There’s a fairly big queue but we’re at the counter at 10:45, we then get told we can’t order anymore breakfast items as they’d ‘ran out’. So my partner orders a sausage roll and I have a sausage, bean and cheese melt. Unfortunately both were absolutely stone cold, I took mine back and asked for it to be swapped with a warm one so they swap it. Only to end up giving me one that was even colder than the one I had to start with. Absolutely appalling service. And that’s the last dime I’ll ever spend at greggs. Plenty of good pastry places that do better food and will appreciate the custom.

I’ve only ever been in the Scarborough branch of greggs, last week I was trying to remember the name of something I used to get from there, they are called welsh cakes this branch only got them very occasionally but when I was asking this member of staff she was very Curt with me and said that since the shop had opened. They had never sold anything like a scone mixture, she wasn’t even interested in trying to find out what it was U was wanting in fact she treated me like I was an inconvenience .

Usual standard Greggs fare. Can eat in or take away, although there is a charge for eating in. Staff friendly enough.

Popped in for a vegetarian fast bite whilst investigating the hostelries of Scarborough. Upbeat staff who were very willing to describe what was on offer. Popular venue, clean & welcoming. Good prices too.

That staff here are always extremely welcoming and always more than happy to have a quick chat when they are not busy. The service is nearly always prompt excluding their busy times and the food is as you would expect for Greggs. Very nice but grossly overpriced. Great for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack.

This Greggs is on one of the main streets of Scarborough. Staff friendly and cheery. Breakfast rolls usual Greggs type. Tasty and did the trick. Tasted fresh enough. Coffee was excellent. Few tables inside and outside to choose from.

We popped in for a quick lunch it was busy however the staff where friendly helpful and quick the shop was well stocked and clean all in a good all round Greggs

Visited Scarborough for the day, when we got off the bus we walked to the main street and saw the shops with outdoor seating so decided to stop for a bacon roll & coffee. Great place for people watching.

Called to get some sandwiches to have in our hotel room for tea, while out and about, Tuna crunch & ham salad were our choice of fillings. We got a bavarian slice & cookies to have afterwards with a cuppa, we enjoyed these later while watching TV in our hotel room.

My husband grabbed some sausage rolls from here as a snack for our daughter, it was clean, tidy, busy, the staff were friendly,I have never come across a bad greggs store yet

We stopped for a Greggs at about 3.30pm to keep us going until our evening meal which was booked for 8pm. The pasties and sausage rolls were not very warm. I know they were probably quiet at this time of day and the pasties had been sat around for a while but there was still plenty of people around town. They could have been kept hotter.

I love greggs sausage rolls, I don't like anyone else's rolls. I like there chicken bakes and custards. There coffee is quite good for the price too.

Wanted lunch to take back to our B&B; to have some daytime TV viewing, Got 2 boxed salads [chicken+grains and ham,egg,potato] we also got a cheese roll to share & 2 cookies. These were enjoyed with a cuppa, my chicken salad was tasty with the dressing [honey+mustard], a good lunch eaten in our comfortable hotel room.

We explored the town centre of Scarborough on the last day of our holidays and came across Greggs.

Popped in here for a cup of tea and a bacon butty whilst waiting for a test. As normal the tea and food was good as was the service, the staff were friendly and polite, and the food and tea was well priced.
