I recently had reason to contact Greggs head office following a visit to this branch. When I informed them that I wanted to eat-in, they said that I had to give them my details. I gave them the information asked for, but felt uncomfortable with the manner that my details were taken. The information I provided was typed into a tablet held behind the counter. Once provided, I sat down. I decided to speak to the manager about my concerns. He was unable to provide me with any information about where my data would be held, for how long and what use my data would be put to. He indicated that it was for COVID and nothing further. I pointed out that I was wearing a mask to prevent spreading this illness and not one staff member was. He said that it was personal choice. I contacted head office to ask what their data protection policies were and was offered a general explanation, not related to what this branch was doing. Anyway, their head office said that shop staff should NOT be stopping entry into the restaurant because of anyone not giving personal data. Today I returned and staff are doing the same thing. Still nothing about data is displayed in store and no explanation about how the information is used.

Since Greggs altered their shops they have gone downhill it is a bakers come coffee shop there are items one wants which they dont have where before when it was a bakers they had. I am not that upset because along the road there is the Leysdown Bakery and its how Greggs used to be. We have enough coffee shops.

I am a frequent visitor to Sheerness and used to love to visit Greggs. However my last visit with my mother was dreadful. We ordered coffee and toasted sandwiches. We had noticed a small group of people in the corner, one man seemed to be talking much louder than anyone else. We started to eat our delicious sandwiches when the loud man called out loudly to a man that had just come in "my bag split last night,**** everywhere". He then went on to talk about the incident in a lot of detail, then to my mothers horror he stood up, pulled up his jumper and showed his stoma bag. My mother actually started to retch. I immediately put my sandwich down, we stood up and left the Café as fast as we could. A lady customer said to me on the way out, don't worry he does that all the time. What sort of Café staff allow such behaviour? My mother was very distressed. Last time we visit Greggs.

Nothing about greggs as regards the food is rubbish it is good but what the owners have done to greggs is rubbish its now a bakery trying to be a coffee shop they need to think about what they have done as far as i am concerned they have spoilt the big shops

Had to wait a while for service but the coffee was nice and the donuts very good. Toilets were clean and the atmosphere relaxing. Always go here when visiting town.

Average food at higher prices and selective in what they sell, in reality a fast food shop and no longer a bakers.

A very uninviting place to eat in... Basic as you can get really😳 Toilets put you off dining there. No soap had to ask for some!! Bit smelly too Just needs smoothing around the edges and attention to detail!!! Could be a real diamond of a Greggs eatery - just needs a little ❤️ love

I took my children out for the day and they opted for lunch in gregs. Waited in a very long queue so had time to view looked very well presented clean and tidy lots of food cakes to tempt you to take away while in the queue. This did cause a problem with my youngest child who fast approached tantrum over a tray of doughnuts displayed right at his eye level. Well we finally made it to the front of the queue and ordered must say all pastries looked very good. Was surprised all the food was dumped on the tray on something I can only describe as greaseproof paper. Found a table which was dirty so I cleared it as no staff but could not find a cloth to wipe up spilt drink and crumbs. Then could not find milk for my tea no staff to guide me so went back to queue and jumped it dirty looks and rude comments received kept explaining looking for milk.finally located to back of store . Back to table one piece of greaseproof and four pastries and a dirty table lol. So left every thing on the tray and ate from that communal eating . Really did not find it pleasant was not the relaxing time I had hoped for on a busy day. Tables also close together getting to your seat you felt you were putting your bottom in the face of person sitting on next table.

I go into Sheerness twice a week and almost every time went into Greggs to their "cafe" sit down area where hot or cold food could be ordered and more than acceptable coffee.

I found this online as I wanted to take my Mum for tea and cake somewhere, so off we went. After quite a search (using SatNav) we eventually found it. It’s exactly as we’d hoped - warm and cosy, excellent staff, delicious cakes and a really good pot of tea. Definitely glad we persevered and we will go again for sure. Lovely 👌

5 of us called in after a walk intent on a drink and maybe food. But we weren't acknowledged at all and waited 10 mins with no service so left. Shame really as we had heard good things about the place.

THIS IS A DIRTY HOTEL. Bleach water doesn't make it clean. Do not waste your money. This hotel is nasty and dirty, and the food was awful. And the staff and their service were even worse. The hotel needs to shut down and be rebuilt. Spa , jacuzzi is not working. We didn't even get the pass we asked for. And people who did had to get staff to let them in. We walked around, but we were told that these had been broken for the past few days before we booked, but we were not informed of this. Before our arrival. No one told us about this at the time of booking or afterwards. We were still under the impression from the website booking.com that this was a spa hotel. How very disappointing. And misleading totally. The room was dirty, the receptionist said l can only leave a message for the manager when we complained. No one spoke with us. And it was too late to book anywhere else. the sink in the bathroom was broken and glued back together. Rusty bin, dirty shower, water only dribbled out. There was no water pressure, there was dirty floors, cobwebs, and hair of all sorts on the floors. The carpets in the bedroom had loads of stains. Bed base was all torn and stained. The kettle had loads of limescale in it. But when we boiled it and poured the water out, the limescale kept coming out every time. So we couldn't even have a cup of tea. There was a flashing pedestrian light outside that came through the curtains. So, sleep was not an option. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I don't recommend any food. And the coffee was cold. We had to get our own cutlery as none of them were on the table.
