Greggs in Cheshire West and Chester

Crap food as always! Every time I go to any Greggs it’s cold!! Go down the road to the poundbakery (that’s not a £1) and can better pasties & so hot!!

We first ordered this with a previous order. the Item was miszing so I asked for a refund and just ordered this on it'a own again. Paid for delivery twice and both times we didn't get the item but the delivery guy put it in as delivered. Called multiple times to greggs but they can't do anything about it so recommended to put a complaint in here. honestly the worst experience ever. paid delivery twice, waited really long and not even recieving the item.

Was good, always get a warm sausage roll or the staff are happy for me to wait for a hot one if they run out. Very friendly place. The sausage cheese and bean one is delicious too.

ordered at 7:30 and it's just arrived now at 9:30. only ordered 2 bacon butties and hadh browns. called the restaurant to a very rude staff member. food is freezing cold . total waste

Rubbish for vegans, finding a vegan breakfast roll is unlikely, they just don’t cook them when the manager isn’t in.

everything was cold or luke warm. capochino was a bad cold coffee. the time kept updating to later and later. I wouldn't mind if the food came hot.

2 hours late. Ice cold. Wouldn’t offer a refund after over an hour of constant push backs. It’s as though it was made yesterday

When you order to doughnuts with icing on you don’t expect them to be in a bag so all the topping sticks to the bag

ordered at 12.30, 2.30 ap still says currier at restaurant, ring restraunt, no ones there and orders been ready since 12.50. 3pm order arrived, cold, soggy, in bin

He Swore At Us When He Delivered Because We Are From London and we’re staying with family, we put the wrong address in by mistake and he spoke to us with Disrespect. I Think this is wrong!

Ordered a sausage roll for lunch, it is great and tastes delicious. However I can't say I'm pleased over the service. I found the assistant rude. How difficult is it to say please and thankyou?! So as we were ordering she came across extremely rushed and was almost rushing us. We paid 4.50 for sausage roll, Coffee and Vimto. We accidently gave her 3.50 she said "It's 4.50 love" We said how much did I give you. In the rudest tone ever she stated 3.50 we gave her an extra pound and sent us off. Not happy at all.

We arrived in Chester near lunch time. Had a breakfast baguette. Very busy with long queues. Have had these baguettes before but this one wasn't as nice as previous ones I've had

Missing item chocolate muffin and just eat refused refund

The delivery time kept on getting extended consistently.

It took an hour to get 1 steak bake and 2 sausage, cheese and bean melts with a tea and a hot chocolate. When they arrived they were cold and the tea was sent without milk. All I got back was £2.50. Waste of time and money.

I tried to find a customer service link to put this on but here goes 12/10/2024 Frodsham st Chester. Served by a friendly member of staff - ordered new fish finger sandwich - I waited aside whilst it was cooked. Some minutes later a women came out and called fish burger … I didn’t respond but the young woman who served me said no I ordered a fish sandwich - the women went away then returned with a fish finger wrap and I said, no I ordered the sandwich - the young woman stepped in and showed the till order as fish sandwich. I echoed that she had asked for this. The back of house women told us we were wrong and a few other staff came to watch - women at the side (who turned out to be the mother of the women in the kitchen) pitched in saying her daughter had clearly said sandwich … she hadn’t at all and the older woman wasn’t stood there until after I’d ordered my meal. The women from the kitchen said she’d cooked a “sandwich” and thrown it in the bin when the server said it was wrong. She went into the back and immediately came back with a fishfinger sandwich in a box covered in mayonnaise - clearly picked back out of the bin - I left … the poor server was being bullied by the back of house women, her mother and the onlookers from the kitchen - I simply felt sorry for her. When I wiped off the mayo and opened my ‘sandwich’ it was a mess and already going cold - so my suspicion of it being taken out of the bin confirmed. I like Greggs, we have one in my local town and the standard and friendliness is always good and consistent - but these staff were bullies and the back of house woman was too agressive to admit that the new range which calls the fish fingers in a burger bun “a sandwich” had confused her and the young woman was completely correct. To take it out of the bin though is unacceptable.

Dreadful service, didn't understand order, didn't ask if I needed a bag, then just put it on top of counter. Used another bakery.

Doughnuts put in with hot food and placed on the side so all mashed, ordered 2 bakewells muffins got 1 and a chocolate one

Food all delivered and lovely but horrible delivery driver who wanted to have an argument, said he had been looking for us for 30 minutes! When he had only just arrived and I missed a phone call due to being on another line. I apologised for being on the phone for the first phone call but explained he has not been waiting around 30 minutes as the phone call says 5 minutes ago, he said it’s not good enough. Very rude experience.

Delivery driver was rude. On phone whole time, stood half metre away handing things to me 1 at a time, had meltdown due to anxiety with being out in open. Then glares at me as if I'm doing something wrong when asked him to bring the stuff closer 3 times, just being ignored. Also didn't tell me what was what, so didn't know what bag my drink was in and put it down not right side up either. Haven't even started eating as been tense since the delivery, so things will be cold/Luke warn too. Was already rushed as a few minutes early, then and then just awful when actually delivering.

Greggs will be closed for two weeks for renovation back open on the 15th of March. Back open now

I ordered 4 sausage rolls at £1.49 each £5.80 for 4 these should have been hot but instead they sent me 4 cold sausage rolls at £4.35 someone is not paying attention to their job it’s looking like they don’t care about ripping the customer off.

As much as I do love a pasty or a pizza slice from here, it's hit and miss if you actually get one. Very limited supply of food every time I have been here, which has been at various times. Staff serve you with moderate efficiency and no happiness for their job at all.

I be honest, most people that work in these places are just lazy man, all you ever do is forgot things of my order, I’m a coffee guy and it’s the one thing I wanted, ordered it in a savoury deal to and they put the saussy roll in but no coffee? I don’t get how you lot function, same for maccies and all that

What a lovely member of staff! I only went in and purchased a Chicken Bake, my paper shopping bag ripped and the young lady offered me a Gregs bag to rescue my other purchases, she is a credit to the company and the type of person businesses should be looking to recruit.

For the second time. Like I said my. Delivery has been and delivered to another house. Leaving me and my. Family. With nothing. Absolute disgrace I spoke to greggs yesterday they said I need to msg you so here I am for the 3rd time reporting it I'm not happy at all I would like my money back asap

I normally call into my local Greggs for my bacon roll in the mornings. Very good food and the service is exceptional. I did order a delivery via Just Eat and never received it. I was told that they dont have a contact no for their rider/driver and that I would need to address the matter directly with Just Eat. 😡

I have not even received my order and the crazy thing is, Greggs cant even get in touch with their rider/driver and I was told that I would need to get in touch with Just Eat. There needs to be a dedicated 24/7 contact number to deal with issues like this.

Delivery man went completly wrong area. When got to area i had to meet to show which house. Awful service. Food is cold.

Not the best Greg’s I’ve had to be honest and went away feeling quite disappointed. Paid for 2 pastries not realising they weren’t fresh. They were cold so asked to reheat but the member of staff was quite rude and said unable to reheat. She knew wasn’t happy with the quality of the food but never offered fresh ones. Poor customer service.
