The food was concitentaly tepid or cold for breakfast and evening meal . Despite having to comply with booking a sitting for the main meal in the evening, the hotel could not maintain the contents of the menu and items were classed as unavailable for later sittings.

We had booked to eat here but then didn't as to be honest the main restaurant is so very nice and the food and service is great, we did not think it could be beaten and why pay extra when you can have wonderful food and service included in your stay.

Stopped here as it allowed overnights with Motorhomes if you buy food. The car park was almost full but I managed to squeeze my van onto a space. The staff were very friendly, the food was good, my rib eye steak was tough and dry (medium rare looked good but still tough) thankfully I had beef dripping as a sauce which was delicious, especially when the chips soaked it up. but everything else was really nice. The final bill £152 for 3x3 courses and drinks (3 ales, 2 wines 3 cokes) which I felt was on the slightly high side. I would happily return in the future.

Fuimos a la cafetería para desayunar antes de una prueba de trabajo. Muy buena comida, precios muy razonables con especialidades diarias. Recarga gratis en té y café. El personal es sin duda volveré

Unfortunately the Railway Inn is still closed with apparently no date for reopening. The Railway Inn is owned by Samuel Smith's brewery and no further information is available.

Handy for a cuppa after work or during a shop. The cafe is situated in the simply food store and it’s clients are generally local. Good service and bright and airy cafe. Huge windows mean it gets very hot in sunny weather. No outside seating.

We chose here to eat while travelling 400 miles from Aberdeen to Wacton in our electric car. The food was good. The staff were friendly but service was slow. My wife had soup and I had a main. That took about 40-45 minutes. I then had to go and move the car. When I left we asked the staff if my wife could order a sweet. We explained we were rushing. When I can back she still hadn't got it. By the time she got it we had been there a good 1hr 15 min. Disappointing as no notice was taken of our polite indication we were rushing.
