Called for a coffee as it seemed quiet, after I got the coffee I knew why, it was really weak possibly ground coffee, it would have been better if it had been instant Bury gets busy but this place was nearly deserted

We love stopping at Granellis when we are in Bury for a shop. The food had good portions and is always really good, but what let’s the place down is cleanliness. We’ve had dirty cups given to us a couple of times and cutlery is sometimes dirty too. Can’t be too hard to get a good dishwasher or hire one. The toilets are also grim and there could be more done to keep them clean. But it is the quality of the food and the super fast service that keeps us coming back. Would be good if they could start doing a veggie breakfast too?

This is a poor excuse for a restaurant, it's a geasy spoon at its best. The whole venue needs a deep clean, most of the cutlery was caked in left over food or grease marks. Staff would shout your order over food while carrying it on a tray. Considering the recent pandemic at least a mask could be worn not to spray over food while shouting. Food was generally of poor standard this place is in a prime location and could have so much potential if gutted and renovated to a significantly higher standard

Called in yesterday with my teenage grandaughter, we ordered 2 toasties, a cheese and onion and a cheese and ham, with pot of tea.The tea was fine. The toasties came with a pile of so called salad, mostly wet pale lettuce, and a dollop of coleslaw.I went to the counter to ask for a plate to put the salad on to as we couldnt get to our toastie as both halves had been stacked on top of each other,on our plates. We could not even seperate the two halves as they were soggy/undercooked/barely warm. The cheese looked like curdled eggs..We managed a couple of mouthfuls each then left the lot! This meal cost me £12. and was inedible! As we walked out I told one of the staff how bad it was, as she had looked over to see the plates barely touched,She didnt seem a bit bothered and just said OK.

Called in here for a bite to eat it is absolutely filthy! No sanitizers to clean hands tables are filthy. Health and Hygiene should most definitely pay a visit to this place how it’s still open is beyond belief! If Covid doesn’t get you , the state of this place certainly will.

After dithering (and arguing) about where to go, we called in here for tea and cake. First impressions weren't great - very few tables had been cleared, despite it not being all that busy. Anyway, we ordered tea, chocolate orange cake and a scone. It took five minutes (with no-one else in front) before our order was taken. Our order was put onto a tray. The cups were just about clean, the saucers were dirty (I think everything had been washed but the water hadn't been changed, the saucers were dirty and wet). I had to fetch some serviettes to wipe them. The scone was OK, the cake was a bit dry, the tea was hideously strong (I fished the tea bags out of the pot - all FOUR of them!). It was very cheap though, I suppose you get what you pay for.

Was visiting this cafe with my partner and we thought we would grab something to eat so I got a steak pie mash and peas and my partner got cheese and onion pie mash and peas, I ordered a tea which the milk was dirty, was given no tray to take it to the table and when we got to our table it was full of dirty plates etc. I cleared the table off and then had to ask for a cloth to clean it. When our food came the girl who served it practically threw it at us, abit of mine came off the plate. The food was absolutely disgusting, both pies was stale, secondly the mash was really lumpy and the peas was so watery, we left our meals and walked out. It’s run by people who haven’t got a clue, a man who was a chef had a hole in his pants so we could see his bum!! The aprons was full of feed. The place is an absolute shambles, this place needs shutting down as it will make people ill!! Doesn’t even deserve one star!!

This restaurant is conveniently placed in the grounds of Bury Market opposite the meat and fish market. Both indoor and outdoor seating, some of the outdoor seating is under cover. Good variety of food and drinks on the menu. Great when you need refreshments after shopping in the market. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Granelli's is also famous for its delicious ice cream.

Just like most supermarket except bigger, a lot of items also a long walk to go around the store,it can make it difficult to find things, staff are helpful otherwise it would take an age to find your shopping.just been to the cafe in Asda pilworth today 19/02/2025 food much improved, staff not very helpful on the till, just a heads up check the cutlery carefully, there were no forks,so asked the staff and they brought some out directly from the kitchen which I would of thought had just been washed, what a mistake I had to return both knives and fork due to them both being dirty, not very good service maybe management should look at the poor service hopefully???

I visited this place while having a look around the garden centre with my parents and my one year old daughter. It looked and seemed pleasant and inviting for a little refresher (cake and a brew). From the moment we walked in, as I unlatched the double doors to allow my dad to wheel our pram in and was essentially glared at by staff, it felt 'off'. We were marched, with said-pram, through a labyrinthine path of tables and chairs to the furthest point of the cafe and ordered to put the pram out of the way. No issues, I thought, got to be considerate to staff and other customers, despite us being situated in the graveyard area of the building with not another soul around, and the selected pram parking spot being on front of a fire escape. The food was quite nice, served quickly enough and without any major problems. The real issue was with the older blonde lady - a regular feature in other people's reviews, it seems - who was among the most discourteous, ignorant, obnoxious and downright rude people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in a supposed hospitality role. As we moved to leave, my kindly 70 year old mother, from no more than two feet away, offered a polite and friendly compliment on the quality of the scone she had just eaten. 'Thank you so much' she started, to zero response. We assumed the last has just not heard' 'It was as good as it looked', she continued. Blank. Nothing. No acknowledgement or pleasantry, no forced politeness in the name of professional courtesy. The woman humiliated my mother, ignored her kind thanks and instead began talking to her colleague about what time she was going to clock off. Like my mother was not even there, let alone offering a compliment and positive feedback. It was shocking and egregious and left us all blown away at how this person can work in hospitality, and apparently have held a job for some time, judging by the dates of the other reviews. I don't know who she is, how she justifies this behaviour or how she's not been removed from the place but we won't be going back after she left a sour and ugly taste to an otherwise lovely afternoon trip out. Disgusting.

Son loves his coffee and mocha from here. Been coming here for many years but just tried the sweet stuff but now it's halal, it's great to try other alternatives. Really enjoyed it, good saver meals!!
