we order from here alot, food has always been fine and delivery is always on time.

very expensive for what is. have had better and cheaper.

The food as usual was delicious, and we weren't waiting a long time even on a Saturday night. We've tried a couple of other takeaways when they have been recommended but we always go back here because they are near as good.

Asked for the food to be delivered at 8pm it arrived at 6:15 so was cold when we came to eat it and dry. Was told we'd get a refund of 20% but never received it!

We ordered. Two chicken chat starters got completely something different very salty food they were good but not any more

Delivered on time, had a decent offer on and were polite. Only complaints would be although the food and ingredients are clearly quality, all the saucy food was oversalted by a long way. Also 2 small samosas isn't enough for the price, they're lovely but not enough of them Thanks

We where recommend Gourmet Raj to try from our normal curry house Cuisine Of India....... The first one was fantastic and we through we had found our new curry house...... so we thought!!!!!! The second time we ordered the food came and was greasy and bland, the containers where leaking all over the bag!! Keema nann had very little meat in it 😠😠 The third time we ordered, we where told 1hr 10mins which was fine..... 2 hours and a phone call later....... to find out where our order was, it arrived. Again the containers leaked all over the bag, very oily food and luke warm..... taste was ok.... AGAIN NO MEAT IN KEEMA NANN😠😠😠😠 BACK THE THE CUISINE OF INDIA 😆😆

The rice still had water in it and once food was plated it was swimming in water the chicken was dry and sauces tasteless. If this was due you the excess of water I do not no. But I will not be ordering again from here

Lovely food. Disappointed with the quantity. Paid the same at other Indian restaurants and got more. The delivery was over an hour and a half to wait which was too long.

Food was good. Samosas were smaller than expected, I suspect these were frozen ones rather than made in house. The rice was more like Mushrooms & rice rather than Mushroom Pilau. Still good though

The food was delicious! Heaps of flavour without being too salty. The chap I spoke to was lovely, very helpful and friendly!! If you are collecting it is tricky to find so ensure you take your phone with you ;) and if you do collect you get to see "where the magic happens"!! Will definitely order again.

Initial time delayed half an hour (to an hour and a half) and food still arrived late. Bhaji's delicious, Curries pretty good, very much lacking spice though. Raita terrible and spinach side incredibly bland - sorry! Hopefully was just a rushed night with them, would recommend giving a try...

always come here for my Indian best without a doubt!!!

Food is always amazing ! The only issue is it takes a good 60-90 mins to arrive! It's never within an hour. But can't stress enough the food is fab!

First time weve ordered from gormet raj after friends recommending it to us,was very pleased to see 30% off if ordered on justeat (that i use regulary for all diff take aways all over leicester) we have tried various different indian restaurants/takeways but this is just wow we ordered the mixed biryani and mixed karag both were pipjng hot on arrival really tasty and filling loved the extra onion salad and nans were perfect will defently be ordering again soon thank you !!

Ordered food from here, took over one and half hours to deliver. The food smelt disgusting like it had gone off and it tasted disgusting. I will never be ordering from here again and will tell everyone about their rubbish food. The owner needs to learn how to cook fresh food. Don't waste your money by ordering from gourmet raj.

Beautifully cooked. And they understand vegetables too, unlike some places which appear to offer floor sweepings. We try other places, but we keep coming back. Put simply, there is nowhere better.

Deliveries are consistently late. The food is usually tasty but not hot when it arrives. A victim of their success?

First, when you call you realise that they have a great ordering system, a phone that recognises past customers so I don't have to give my address every time. The delivery service is always on time, sometimes even earlier than expected, and very friendly, with the food still piping hot. The food is always exceptional. Tasty and spicy without blowing your head off or burning your mouth. I usually have either the meat-stuffed pepper or a lamb or chicken dosa to start, and garlic chilli chicken or chicken jelfrazi as a main. Always delicious, as is the tarka dhal I often have, although this evening I had the courgette side dish, which was also excellent. The popadoms are always fresh and crisp, and the naans are always fluffy. O e other thing worth mentioning: I use this place a lot, and there are very occasionally minor mistakes with the order, just part of life's tapestry. But when they offer a discount or refund against the next meal, it's real and it's recorded on their system, so it doesn't get forgotten. It's customer service like that that is the icing on the cake, or the tarka on the dhal, perhaps! Keep up the excellent work, guys!

Iv tried so many Indian food outlets in Leicester and nothing compared to Gourmet Raj! Amazing service, great food and the sense of quality is so transparent. Being Indian myself we are very picky with where we get our food from and we can confidently say we will be regulars here.

Ordered tandoori Roti it was thick hard and undercooked Ordered mixed grill that was dry and was meant to feed 2 ppl but was very small portion Butter chicken was terrible not sure what sauce they used Saag with paneer was eatable I'm surprised food so bad here as this place was recommended to me Will not be using again

chicken shashlik main starter was great and very tasty, the tandoori seekh kabab main was good as well, main just means you get 4x kebabs and the main curry chicken jalfrezi was hot tasty and with a thick sauce very nice so i'm guessing the main question will i order from here again mmmm yes defo
