Gourmet grill windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Paid £13.48 for a gourmet grill meal and onions rings to be collected. Got home to a burger and onion rings, no meal

Chicken wings look like they have been chewed up and spat out, bland and flavourless, cold cardboard fries and when I called they refused to acknowledge any wrong doing. Huge disappointment, I've been twice and will certainly never be going back.

Ordered food for delivery whilst staying at Legoland. Food was lovely, hot and fresh when received, flavours were different but delicious. My children were pleased. We ordered takeaway before leaving Windsor the next day. Thank you!

We have been eating there for years last couple of times was hit and miss but tonight was absolutely disgusting and horrible the chicken was so stinky that you can smell it through the bag even with all the spices on this definitely will be our last time and would definitely not be recommending it anymore.

First time to visit this restaurant, really amazing food , grilled chicken was delicious and juicy, grilled chicken burger was fabulous and juicy , I highly recommend eating in this restaurant and I will try to look for same restaurant in London 👍👍👍

Crooks. Ordered food and chased them three times. A 14 min drive but apparently there was loads of traffic!! The driver was then three mins away and 25 mins later nothing expect the phone being off the hook! So avoid these lying crooks who have no idea how to deliver food!

In this take way every thing is v good specially staff very friendly two guys hadi and Bedar very nice.

Every time it takes them 1.5 - 2 hours to deliver. To a local address, only 1 mile away. Pathetic service and always some lame excuse. Naturally, food turns up cold. Avoid this place- standards have seriously slipped.

Authentic smokey grill burgers. The top of the top. (Will burn a hole in your wallet but well worth it) Open from 12 till 11 which is amazing, no minimum spend on delivery and only 1.50 delivery charge (with 50p service charge from justeat) which amazing. Restaurant looks nice, menu looks nice. Bonus for me is that it's on the same road as me. bluegrass mcdonald cattle grid flaming cow you name it WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO WIN AGAINST GOURMET GRILL. Id rather see GOURMET GRILL everywhere on earth than stoopied mcdonald anyday.

After a 2 hour wait through Deliveroo (who couldn't even contact them to chase the order), it arrived cold and inedible. Deliveroo offered me a partial refund. So I've wasted 2 hours and paid money for food I wouldn't give my dog. Avoid.

Amazing burgers! Probably the best we have had. We visited twice whilst we stayed over at Legoland last week. Our kids were really impressed and still talk about Gourmet Grill! Fantastic customer service the staff were really nice and friendly. We will definitely come again if we come to Windsor again.

We came here for lunch after a stroll in Windsor. Food was halal and delicious! Lemon and herb spice on the wings tasted scrumptious. Definitely worth visiting!

Was looking for something to eat with the family after a day at Legoland and found this place pretty close by. The burgers were amazing! The best I've tasted anywhere. Yum! Also have to say my kids are a fussy bunch normally, but they loved the food here.5 stars. Keep up the amazing food and great service!

Very good fresh food. Burgers are really good and pretty inventive. I had Castle feast which was delicious. Wife had flaming chicken which was decent. Don had wings which were not that good. Overall recommended for burgers and it is halal

My new favourite place for burgers and wings. Gourmet beef burgers balance nicely with toppings. same with the flamin chicken burger. peri chips are full of flavour. Everything is super fresh, their place very clean. Decently priced, but Order direct for better prices and no delivery delay (and colder food). Glad to see entrepreneurial spirit, with food like this, am sure they'll do very very well!

Preceding the first bite was a series of bizarre fellow customer folks sharing substantial tales of expensive jeans buying, and lackadaisical burger flipping that made me wonder if my order had been forgotten. Though the happy ending was my pondering thought about whether the Queen too would find the burger to her satisfaction.

Food was 11/10...Will definitely be ordering from here again.

The Americano burger is fab! Grilled meat burger cooked in an open flame grill, giving a slightly Smokey flavour. Served with salad, cheese and burger sauce ( a choice of sauces) served in a tasty brioche bun. Great value and fresh food and friendly staff. The menu is varied and I will try a chicken dish next time. Ps, I am a local and only recently discovered this gem. Recommend!

The flaming chicken burger meal is very tasty! Just the the right flavour and cooked to perfection! I've visited a few times now and have never been disappointed, will be popping in again the next time I'm in Windsor. Excellent customer service!!

The pictures where they show the burgers, don't look like when you are eating them. Much smaller and no effort. You also wait a long time for expensive prices

Avoid this establishment at all cost, customer service is non existent, according the people that work there “the customer is always wrong” if you read some of the other reviews most of them reference the poor customer service, which is a shame because the food is nice ( don’t get the chips tho, it’s dead) If I could give less than 1 star for their service I would.

Delicious burgers! Specially vegetarian one that I ate. Meal has amazing tasty. The only thing that I would suggest is for more drink options, as juices, ice tea, etc. Unfortunately , the restaurant is a little hide, it is in one of the corners of the high street, so is not visible for the public go, otherwise would be much busier.

Beef Burger which I had ' castle feast ' the beef was so well done so it was all burn all around the bun was burn fries was under cook and over cook together I was wondering how they could have done that lol . But nice staff .

The burger was amazing, but the chips were not great. Make sure you grab a sauce if you get the chips. Overall though really good value for money so can't complain too much ;)

The stone plate was cold, burger not very hot. Staff smoking right by the main doors when customers eating. Overall wouldn’t be bad as burger tastes good, but staff needs to improve.

Food was decent enough, the atmosphere is a bit hmmm not all there. Staff were kind of friendly but I was a little annoyed when they started listening to music on their phone and singing along loud, it was like I didn't exist. He doesn't have a great voice and phone speakers are never that good. More importantly I was there eating my burger and reading so didn't really appreciate it.

Got insulted and threatened by a member of staff for asking about an offer which was advertised as a lunch offer, I got there at 1530 and was told it was now evening time and the offer wasn’t available although the board advertising it was still outside! The way the staff member was talking to me was shockingly disgraceful told this and he shouldn’t be allowed to work in such an environment as I have never been treated this way before, if he is still there, He is a danger to customers and this business is not acting responsibly by employing such rogue individuals, I will never go back!!

Food not tasty at all, i threw it to the bin. Greasy soggy fries, dry burger floating on cheap mayo. Rather cheap burger, only veg in it was onion. I would not recommend it. Completely different than on pictures. You will be disappointed. Do not mistake it with another one in windsor with similar name.

Shocking customer service to the point staff feel they can insult and be aggressive towards customers. That aggressive and horrible approach has no place anywhere let alone a friendly town like Windsor, reported this to management to investigate, nothing ever heard back! Total shame as with right level of customer service the place could be so much better..

i regularly get my burger meal from here at lunch time. The door states 5 stars but they do not even use gloves when making burgers! i sometimes do not enjoy my burger because i think they person may not have washed their hands when making food. You need peace of mind. The taste is ok depending on who serves you.

Burger is good. Customer service is bad. Pls check your total bill as mine was overcharged. The bald staff was rude and need training to treat customer decently.

The gourmet grill make the best burgers for £4. The patties are fresh. They have a proper grill that gives the burger a smokey taste. Great Value!

We had a lovely meal here last year and it’s taken me this long to post a review. But I had promised to as it was so nice to find good sized portions, great service and friendly faces. The sauce and seasoning was a little spicy for my daughter so they made another specially.

After a long and enjoyable day at legoland searched for nearby halaland this come up. Kofta burger was really good. Tower was good but too big. Wings were okish. Only thing is that even on Sun evening u have to park in public car park which is expensive and no direct access to the restaurant. With pram it is quite dangerous but nothing related to restaurant. Windsor Council should do something about it

Price on menu was fair, food quality was great. Service was slow during the late dinner period (8pm), it was busy. I tried the americano burger, flaming chicken burger, cheesy chips and normal chips. It all tasted great and stood up to the gourmet name.

Tried this small takeaway with seating food place in Windsor town centre. Not easy to find and is best to park in the high street multi story carpark. The burgers are good and freshly made. Price wise it’s good, just looks a little deceptive in appearance.

Met up a friend who has gone to Hajj with a few other friends...had a great meal at the same time...platter to share was spot on... also tried the Castle Burger...which was also shared. Our theme was to share. Lol...

So so burgers and so so service, not really gourmet burgers as advertised.

After looking for halal food in the area and coming across the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to make the trip down on our way back to Cardiff. This really was special. We ordered buffalo wings (3 mild and 3 lemon and herb) and a Castle burger each, and it was among the best burgers and wings we have had.

The standard has fallen dramatically and the delivery time is well out too.. Despite giving them benefit of doubt, twice, their standard of quality has dropped regrettably and yet their prices have gone up!!
