Goodfellas Cafe in Tonbridge and Malling

Simple food done really well, everything perfect & great service. Highly recommend the traditional breakfast and their latte.

Visited this cafe for lunch today, something I had been meaning to do for ages but never quite got round to it. I'm so glad I found time. Cafes are becoming a rarity, probably because of the proliferation of the chain multiple fast food places. This cafe has bucked the trend and appears to be thriving. Once you have eaten there, you will soon see why. The first thing you notice is that it is spotlessly clean. The tables are cleared and relaid immediately after each customer. The service is first class with happy smiling staff who are very friendly. The food was served quickly, and it arrived on warm plates and piping hot. Above all, there was plenty of food which was absolutely delicious. I shall return as soon as possible. If you are in the area and feeling peckish, swerve the KFC, Greg's etc and pop into Goodfellas. It's a real gem!

Family run restaurant offers a wide ranging menu with fast service, smiling staff and good and plentiful food. Breakfasts are so good and the coffee is ahhh excellent. Will return to try their desserts!!

First rate. Food is simple but delicious. Service was attentive, food came quickly, hot and super tasty. Really good value, basics all done well. The cafe is a long thin rectangle but has been set out to accommodate this. Was one of the only sit down breakfast options we could find outside of the pub, in Tonbridge, and we went back the next day!

Not very impressed with this cafe our table was in a long corridor and was very small no room to put your plates and cups on. I had a cheese omelette and couldn't taste any cheese in it whatsoever I thought it was overpriced and very poor quality for the money.

After reading, each time I past how good and not to be beaten, visited today 9 December 23 It's very narrow inside, like being on a train. Had to wait for some one to notice me, even though more staff than customers. Choose pot of tea and cheese burger and chips. Nothing was fresh. Well, I was very very disappointed. Not worth the money I paid. Would have been better going to the chip shop at the station or one of the other restaurants further up. I shall not be going through their door again. And not worth one star but can't comment without . So much for treating myself after first week of work after three years.!!!!???

A lovely cafe I’ve always overlooked however I popped in today with my toddler for the first time and it was lovely! The place is very clean and the staff were really lovely and the window seat is a great spot. Pretty traditional cafe basic ingredients but that was all we were looking for and so the bill was really reasonable and reflective of this. We will be popping by again!

This place has got the diner style eating DOWN. Quick, efficient service, great options on menu - if you don't find something you want, wow you are a fussy minx! So nice to order a large drink and it actually be a LARGE size. Service was super super quick, food all cooked fresh and hot - all arrived perfect. Cannot fault. Sad I don't live nearby or I'd be in most days I reckon! Highly highly recommend.

Popped in whilst my car was being fixed. Had a nice breakfast although nothing special. The best thing was the lady whom meets you when you enter the cafe, very freindly and nice, quilx service too. A decent friendly cafe and id go again if i was in the area.

Popped in for a Breakfast. Was not disappointed. Staff were lovely and friendly. The food was tasty, the cafe clean and tidy. Overall a good experience and will return.

Fantastic had a quick lunch Great service and super fast. Food was good. Would Definitely go back. Had a good range of variety on the menu.

I recently visited,friendly & welcoming staff,ordered and received my order quickly I ordered the rise & shine, always clean also food is top notch

Food was average, staff friendly at first. Barely finished my plate and was presented the bill. We would have ordered dessert but were made feel unwelcome and left without ordering anything else.

We always go to the cafe next door so decided to try Goodfellas for a change today. Ordered a roast dinner & a make your own breakfast along with a large earl grey & Fanta with no ice. The glass of Fanta arrived, consisting of 75% ice! The roast was hilarious - tiny plate with nothing roasted on it. EVERYTHING was just microwaved & very poor quality. The veg were peas & sweetcorn. The Yorkshire pudding was tiny & soggy. The chicken was cheap bits of microwaved chicken breast. The potatoes had come straight from a frozen bag & were so pale you could have mistaken them for raw! In the breakfast the mushrooms were shrivelled, the black pudding 1/4cm thin slices which were luke warm at best & the egg the size of an egg from a blackbird! Will leave still hungry. Such a shame. Will return back to the cafe next door from now on.

I had Liver with onions mash gravy and veg and was given a steak knife and fork to eat this meal with.I don"t know why i was given a steak knife as when the meal was given to me the liver was already cut into cube sizes. I don"t know why they cut the liver into cube sizes as it is better cooked as a whole slice of liver like a steak. The liver was over cooked and this meal came to just over £9. when this meal was only worth at the most £4, I also had a small can of diet coke which i nearly got charged £3,60. for and was told i had been charged for 2 diet cokes.My lady friend had fried bread baked beans and 2 sausages where she said the sausages were not nice and left one and a bit of them.Will not be using that cafe again.

Really friendly staff hospitality is great! All accompanied with a varied menu, plus cosy seating. We really enjoyed our visit.

Visited this café for lunch today & was very impressed. Air conditioned, very clean, quick friendly service, lovely food & safe covid environment (other than being cash only today). Would recommend.

The meal i had i could of made at home for about £2.50.I had chopped liver with a few onions&gravy.One rasher of bacon and a small amount of mash made from dried potato.This cafe does not have peas on the menu as i would have liked some on my meal.I paid nearly £8,for this meal.The meal was nice but could of been a bit cheaper as liver is a cheap offal meat.

We visit this cafe once a week and have done so now for about 18months. We love it as the staff are super friendly, the food range is vast and delicious and it's a good price. We generally have a breakfast which we've either ordered off their all day breakfast menu or have chosen our own breakfast from a list of available items. Our food has always arrived piping hot and straight from the grill. They have a great range of hot drinks and soft/cold drinks. Food and drinks can be ordered in kid sized portions and they have even cut all the food up on the plate before is was bought out to help our medium functioning autistic friend who has a real problem cutting up their food but also hates people having to cut their food up for them at the table. No request is ever too much here. We have also eaten their lunch menu which again caters for every taste. This is an extremely friendly cafe and if you are ever in or around Tonbridge give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Came for lunch whilst waiting for an MOT. Former Jennys and menu similar to before. Great JJ burger. Decent chips. Good chicken salad too.
